Zip! Foom!
Sonic ran and stopped on a dime in front of Shadow's locker. "Ha! I won!"
Shadow flew into the school behind him in a tunnel of flame. Unlike the hedgehog that showed up before him, Shadow had trouble stopping himself and flew face first into a wall.
Honest came in a few steps behind them, keeping her distance. She smiled. "And then-"
"Faker," Shadow spat, one of his spines having a fire lit at the end it. He stomped up to Sonic, his arms crossed as far as they would go.
Honest sighed. She had the 'hogs all figured out. Anything they did, she could explain.
Then Honest had no clue what happened.
One moment she was dreamily staring into space in the middle of the hallway. The next moment she was against a cold, metal locker with dark black tentacles wrapped around her arms and legs. Of course, she knew who it was.
"Mephiles," Honest stated to whoever it was. She opened her eyes and saw Mephiles form out of a pile of black ooze.
Suddenly Honest's teeth went together and her ears back, her tail puffing up behind her like a mountain of fur.
The one thing that never ceased to catch her by surprise. Tentacles traveled up her legs and around her ears. However, Honest couldn't will herself to move.
Finally her prayers were answered when Silver poked his head around a corner and shouted, "Mephiles!"
Mephiles's eyes widened, and he dropped Honest, making her fall and hit her bottom. "Ouch."
Mephiles slowly made his way down the hallway, leaving a trail of mushrooms. On his way down, he used a tentacle to gently shove Shadow into Sonic.
Shadow attempted to catch himself, only to be stopped by Sonic, who grabbed his wrists and brought him in close. "Why, hello. Come to apologize?" the supersonic hedgehog said.
"Faker!" he shouted before chaos spearing him into pieces and teleporting away. Sonic, who had a chaos spear lodged in his chest, sighed, saying "Totally worth it." before the spear burst into a million little stars.
Honest got up slowly, holding her head. "What was that about?"
Suddenly a girl ran up to Honest and grabbed her hand. "Are you alright? What was he doing to you?"
When Honest spun to face her, she got a strange sense of dèja vu. "D-Do I know you?"
"No, um, I'm new here. I just moved here actually. My name is Dina."
"Hello, Dina," Honest exclaimed, suddenly brightening up despite being confused by Mephiles's, well, shady behavior. "I'm Honest!"
"Are you the girl that always follows Shadow around?"
"What? No! I mean... yeah, but-"
"Don't worry! In fact, I'm surprised you can even get close to him!"
Honest laughed awkwardly, "I never thought of it that way..."
(Crazy fan girl alert)
Mephiles didn't explain himself that day, nor did he clarify his actions the next day. Honest was starting to get worried.
The next night Honest was settling into bed. She rested her head on the stack of pillows at the head of her bed and closed her eyes. Suddenly a drip of something hit her nose and made her open her eyes. A hedgehog was stuck to the ceiling of her room with dark goop.
"Mephiles?!" Honest shouted. Suddenly the goop disappeared, and Mephiles dived towards her. Honest grabbed her Sonic plush and rolled out of the way, leaving Mephiles to hit the bed with a muffled thump. When he opened his eyes, he saw a Silver doll near his head.
"Silver..." Mephiles sat up and grabbed the plush, pulling on its arms and making it walk.
Sonic and Shadow pushed through Honest's door to see what all the commotion was about. What they saw both stunned and confused them. (see below/above picture)- To be added later :) I'm at school right now.
(And I never added that picture because I lost it ^^' But at least it won't happen again since I've graduated.)
