(Chapter 1: The Warrior with Untapped Potential!)

Naruto was walking back to his apartment, he had been trying to get food since he ran out in his apartment, unfortunately people kept kicking him out of their stores, leaving Naruto starving for the night until he could ask the old man to buy some food for him.

On his way home, some people saw him. "Hey look! It's the demon!" At this, everyone, drunkards, midnight runners, anyone nearby heard and turned to where Naruto was.

"Ah crud." Naruto thought as he started to run for it.

"Get him!" By now, everyone nearby was chasing after him

It was about 20 minutes before Naruto's little legs tired out, I mean he was a 7-year-old kid with no training. He tried to hide in an alley, but they caught on, and then they cornered him. Naruto fell down and panicked as he tried to back away but hit against a wall. He had been beaten before, he hated it, from being stabbed to just outright being abused. What did he do wrong?

"There you are you little punk!"

"Let's kill him!"

"Kill the demon!"

Naruto closed his eyes, tears started forming as he watched the mob getting closer. The mob got close as they started beating him up, using bats, empty bottles of alcohol or anything they could use as a weapon, this went on for 10 minutes before they saw a bloodied Naruto with a black eye, broken ribs and a broken arm on the verge of collapsing, when one person went up with a knife, he decided to end it once and for all, so before it hit him, Naruto put up his only hand as a defense, then he pierced the knife into Naruto.

He didn't feel any pain. When he opened his eyes, he saw two people in front of him, defending him from the attack, one had spiky hair going up to his right, and the bottom left, he had an orange Gi with some blue underneath it, the other guy was shorter then him, he had gravity defying hair and wore some sort of blue latex suit armor?

"What do you think you're doing!" The orange wearing guy yelled gripping the person's arm before shoving him away.

"What does it look like we're doing, were going to kill the demon!" The guy yelled gripping his arm. The others agreed with him, demanding the death of the demon.

"You fool! Don't you realize that you're just harming an innocent boy!" He shouted back.

"No way! He's just a demon! If you won't move, then we'll have to kill you to demon lovers!" He shouted as everyone charged in to attack the two men.

"Tch, seems like you fools are nothing but idiots, we'll just have to deal with you the hard way." The short blue wearing latex man said as he started to knock out some of the mob with his orange wearing friend.

After about a minute, everyone was knocked out from both of them. When they were done, they both looked back to Naruto, who started to go unconscious and fall but was caught by the orange glad man.

"I can't believe they would do this to a child…" The orange clad muttered to himself,

"Seems like these people are ignorant to the truth, come on Kakkarot, we have to take him." The blue latex wearing guy responded as he nodded and went to Naruto, grabbing onto his collar shirt he went to his friend who put his hand on his shoulder, then disappeared using Instant Transmission.

(Kai's World)

There were 3 beings waiting for Goku and Vegeta to return. These people were the Kai's of Universe 7, the Supreme Kai, the Elder Kai, and Kibito.

They had saw this child's life before, they were pissed, especially Kibito, at the mortals of that planet, to treat a kid like that just because he held a demon? Even they knew the difference, which is why they called Goku and Vegeta to bring the child here.

The three of them heard Goku's Instant Transmission as they turned around to see Goku, Vegeta, and Naruto.

When they got there, Goku carried Naruto to them. Vegeta following behind.

"To be beaten like that at such a young age, no one should go through that…" The Supreme Kai muttered before turning to Kibito. "Kibito, if you would be so kind to heal our friend here."

"Yes, of course master." Kibito responded as he went to heal Naruto.

"Kibito, is he going to be ok?" Goku asked, worried about Naruto.

Kibito was healing as he spoke to Goku, "Yes, he should be alright, I may be healing him, but it seems like the kyuubi is also healing him also as we speak."

Goku nodded at this, he had seen Naruto's before and was horrified, no one should go through this, much less a child.

Vegeta also felt bad, but wouldn't show it, he was under Frieza for so long as he still remembered everything. But this kid had it worst them him.

The Elder sighed before he spoke, "It seems like the people's opinions on him won't change so easily, so it's up to us to train him."

This shocked everyone, it was then Goku decided to speak up, "What do you mean Elder Kai?"

"It's simple really, I can tell that his life won't get any better as he grows older, he'll be endangered even more with people trying to get the kyuubi inside his body, at least we can help him defend for himself, he also has a lot of potential, even more then Gohan." The Elder Kai finished. Now that shocked everyone, Gohan was known for his latent abilities and untapped potential, now this kid has a higher potential then him! He would grow strong one day.

"You mean to tell me that this boy has a higher potential then Gohan? I don't believe it, no human could have such potential." Vegeta answered back

"Believe what you think, but I can tell that he has a lot of potential, all we have to do is unlock it." The Elder Kai responded back

"Wow! That means he'll be pretty strong! Once we train him to his highest potential we can fight!" Goku started to get happy and excited at the chance to fight a strong opponent.

"Quiet Kakkarot! We just brought him here to get him healed and now you want to fight him?" Vegeta barked at him.

"Ah, your no fun Vegeta…" Goku pouted as he turned around.

(Naruto's mindscape)

Naruto woke up, he didn't know where he was, the last thing he remembered were the two people who saved him? He didn't know, he would find out later, as started to adjust he found himself in a sewer, Naruto decided to walk down the hall until he saw a giant ass cage with a supposed 'Seal' on it.

"So, my warden finally visits me?" The being behind the bars greeted

"W-who are you?!" Naruto asks

"I am known as the Kyuubi" The kyuubi responds

"T-the kyuubi!" Naruto points out, "But how are you alive! I thought the Yondaime killed you!"

"Tch, your Yondaime couldn't kill me, I'm unkillable."

"But where are we? And why are you here!" Naruto questioned

"First, we are in the mindscape, your mindscape to be exact" The Kyuubi started "And since your Yondaime couldn't defeat me, he chose the next best thing he had which was sealing me inside you"

Naruto's jaw dropped on the floor as he took in this information in, the Yondaime sealed the kyuubi in him!

"Yes, your Yondaime sealed me when he fought me."

"But wait, why did you attack Konoha? What did it ever do to you?" Naruto asked.

"Tch, why should I tell you?" The Kyuubi responded

"Fine! Be that way, now how can I get out?" Naruto asked as he was trying to find his way out

"This is your mind, just think about exiting." The Kyuubi explained

"Huh, thanks!" Naruto thanked.

The kyuubi sat there before chucking which turned into laughing.

"What's so funny?!" Naruto asked.

"You're the first human to actually thank me. I find that Hilarious!" The kyuubi chuckled.

"Well get used to it!" Naruto responded back before disappearing.

"That kit, he'll be something alright." The kyuubi thought.

(Outside the Mindscape)

Naruto groaned as he started to wake up, upon waking up he was faced with people he had never seen before, "AHHH! Creepy red dude!" he yelled before backing up.

Apparently Kibito doesn't take it well in being called red creepy dude, "Why you little…" he grumbled as he was about to get him before the Supreme Kai put his hand up.

"Now Kibito, he's just a bit startled, let's wait until he calmed down." The Supreme Kai said to Kibito.

Kibito sighed, before grumbling about 'disrespectful brats'

The Supreme Kai turned back to Naruto who calmed down a bit, "Now, why don't we introduce ourselves, my name is Shin, known as the supreme kai of this universe."

"My name is Kibito, the supreme kai's student and assistant." The red man now named Kibito introduced.

The old looking one spoke up next, "I am known as the Old Kai, young one." Giving him a grin

The shorter man went next, "Tch, Vegeta." As he turned his head the other way.

Finally, the orange man went last, "Hiya! It's nice to meet you! You can call me Son Goku or Goku for short, but Vegeta here calls me by Kakkarot." Giving his infamous son smile. While Vegeta just gave a grunt.

"Now that we've introduced ourselves, why don't you introduce yourself?" The Old Kai asked.

Hesitantly, Naruto went, "W-well, my name is Naruto Uzumaki, and I'm from Konoha!"

Everyone seemed satisfied with the introduction, "Anyway, how did I get here, and why am I here?!" Naruto questioned.

"Lets answer one at a time, right now your in the Land of the Kais." The Supreme Kai answered.

"The Land of the Kais? What is it?" Naruto questioned.

Kibito decided to answer this question. "It is a sacred land for the Kais only such as myself, The Supreme Kai, and the Elder Kai, we watch over the universe for any disturbances."

"Wait, but then what are those two doing here then?" Pointing to Goku and Vegeta. "And why did you save me? No has saved me before." Naruto finished sounding a bit sad.

Goku decided to speak, "At first, the Supreme Kai wanted us to take you here, we looked around you village to find you, but when I saw you being harmed, me and Vegeta jumped right in to save you." Goku finished with Vegeta giving another grunt in approval.

Naruto had a tear in his eye, no one saved him or acknowledged him before except for the old man, so when these five helped him, it meant a lot to him, so he quickly wiped his tear and then they continued.

"Now you must be wondering why you're here." The Elder Kai spoke as Naruto nodded his head. "Well we should start by this, do you know of the Kyuubi?"

Naruto nodded his head, "Yeah, I spoke to him in my mindscape before."

"Ah, so you've met him, this makes things easier for us, we've seen you're life before and you know you had no control over the sealing of the Kyuubi, which made your life a living hell, which is why we've come to get you." The Elder Kai continued.

"Well, tell me already!" Naruto demanded.

"We want to train you." The Elder Kai said.

This shocked Naruto for a second, "What? You want to train me? Why?"

"Like I said, we've seen your life and it wasn't a pretty one, so we've decided to take you here and train you so that you can defend yourself, and besides, there's no telling what'll happen in the future, since you have the Kyuubi, people will want to steal it from you, so this would be a duel benefit." The Elder Kai explained.

"Yatta! I finally get to be trained!" Naruto announced happily as he was bouncing around before calming down, "But wait, you don't look like the fighting type, so what would you be able to teach me?"

"Well I wouldn't be training you, that's what those two are here for." The Elder Kai answered pointing to Goku and Vegeta. "But I have the ability to unlock your Full Potential, making you stronger."

"Sugoi! When do we start training!" Naruto asked getting stars in his eyes.

Goku chuckled as he answered, "We can train whenever we're ready! We can also meet the people on our planet as well! I think you'll be great with them!"

"Alright!" Naruto excitedly yelled, "But wait, how long are we training for, and what about the old man! He's going to freak when he realizes I'm missing!" Naruto stated as he started to panic.

"Do not worry, I've already handled that." The Elder Kai spoke.

(Flashback)

Hiruzen Sarutobi was in his office, it was around midnight, he was trying to finish his paperwork, a lot of paperwork, curse the Yondaime for not giving him the secrets of defeating paperwork. Giving a sigh as took a smoke from his pipe, it was then that a purple old man appeared out of nowhere. This startled Hiruzen and he quickly stood up and got in a fighting stance.

"Who are you and what are you doing here!" Hiruzen asked

"Calm yourself, I'm just here to tell you something." The Elder Kai putting his hands up to stop him.

Hiruzen didn't lower his guard at all, "What is it?"

"I want to talk about Naruto." The Old Kai answered.

"What about Naru-." Hiruzen stopped for a minute, before realizing who he was talking about, "I swear, what did you do to him!?"

"Relax, he's safe, I just wanted to talk about him." The Old Kai reassured.

"How do I know you haven't done anything to him?" Hiruzen asked.

"If I did, I wouldn't be telling you this." The Old Kai said.

Hiruzen sighed, he was right, "Fine, what is it you want with Naruto?"

"Simple, we want to train him." The Old Kai answered.

"What? Why." Hiruzen questioned.

"As you know, he has the Kyuubi sealed into him, making his life hell, you should know this by now." The Old Kai explained.

Hiruzen sadly nodded, "Yes, the boys parents wanted him to be seen as a hero, but when I told everyone, I didn't expect them to act so harshly to this."

"Yes, awhile ago he was attacked by a mob before, but luckily, I sent two people to help him, and then we brought him to our planet." The Old Kai continued.

"What do mean your planet?" Hiruzen questioned as he relaxed more.

"I'm not exactly from your planet if you haven't noticed, I am what is known as a Kai, the watcher of the universe, making sure everything is balanced from afar." The Old Kai answered.

"But I don't understand, why would you want to train Naruto?" Hiruzen calmly asked.

"As I said before, since he has the Kyuubi, he's going to be targeted more, and I don't mean the civilians and such in your village, but there are people out there who seek the Kyuubi's power, at least when we train him, he'll be able to defend himself." The Old Kai explained more.

Hiruzen thought for a moment, then decided what eh was going to do, "Fine, but can you bring him back when he does the Genin exam? I was going to place him in when he was 8 but it doesn't seem like I can do it now."

The Old Kai nodded, "Of course, he'll be much stronger by then, so I guess this is goodbye for now, and don't worry, you'll see him real soon." And just like that, he disappeared.

"I'm getting too old for this shit." Hiruzen sighed as he continued his everlasting paperwork.

(Flashback End)

"And that's about it." The Old Kai summarized in his thinking pose.

"So, I'll be returning when my Genin Exams start?" Naruto asked.

"Yes, that's what we agreed upon." The Old Kai responded.

"Alright! Can we get started on my training then!" Naruto excitedly asked.

The Old Kai smiled and nodded, "Yes, for now, you'll stay here with those two." Pointing to Goku and Vegeta. "and they will train you, then we'll go over the rest of your training soon."

And thus, began Naruto's gruesome training for the next 5 years.
