The yellow bunny led the girl to the Parts and Service room, then slowly opened the door.
"Right this way," the bunny said in a cheerful (and creepy) voice. The 6 year old took the bait and followed the bunny inside the room, then the door shut...
Funtime Freddy looked around at the children starting to leave. He wanted to say goodbye to Riley before she left, then started searching for her.
"Maybe she's with Ballora," Bon-Bon told Freddy, who nodded. He walked into the next room to find Ballora still dancing.
Funtime Foxy was gone.
Freddy and Bon-Bon looked at each other for a few seconds, then approached the ballerina.
"Hi Ballora, have you seen Riley?"
"You mean that birthday girl?" Ballora asked, twirling around in the same spot. "No, not since she came to me and Funtime Foxy. Speaking of Foxy, where is he?"
The three looked around, but saw no sign of their fox friend. The kids rushed past them to the prize counter to spend their tickets, fearing that if they don't use them in time, the prizes would be all sold out.
"Now that the kids are out of the room, it's easier to see," Funtime Freddy told them.
Circus Baby got off her stage and walked over to her gang. "Hi everyone. Why do you look so sad?"
Bon-Bon turned his head to look at the clown. "Riley's missing," he said, "have you seen her?"
Baby shook her head. "No. I haven't seen Funtime Foxy either."
Just then, a man dressed in a purple shirt and blue jeans exited the Parts and Service room.
"Hello William, have you seen a girl around here?" Baby asked when she was in earshot.
"About 6 years old, brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. Pink shirt and shorts?" Funtime Freddy added.
The man shook his head. If they could frown, now would be the correct time to do it.
As William walked away, Funtime Freddy looked at the Parts and Service room. The purple bear turned the door knob and opened the door. The world around him seemed to stop.
Funtime Foxy was slumped over next to the wall, with red liquid slowly draining out of him. The air smelled of rotting flesh and blood covered the walls. Circus Baby, Bon-Bon, Freddy and Ballora all stood frozen. Freddy went over to Foxy and tried to turn him on. Nothing happened.
Freddy tried again, thinking the battery was just low. Still, nothing. "Foxy?" Bon-Bon asked. The pink robot didn't move.
"Funtime Foxy!" Circus Baby snapped.
Still, nothing happened. He just sat there, like... his gaze was locked on something.
Baby ran her metallic finger down the suit of the fox, collecting the sticky liquid.
Freddy tried to look inside Funtime Foxy's mouth, but when he opened his jaws, he immediately stumbled backward, catching himself on the table in the center of the room.
"It's..." he trembled, his eyes wide. "It's Riley. In... in Foxy!"
Ballora and Baby looked at Funtime Foxy closer to see. Freddy was right...
Riley's hair was shown through the mouth of the animatronic, slumped over inside the suit. From what Ballora could guess, she'd been dead for about 40 minutes.
"What do we do!?" Freddy screamed. Baby slapped a hand over his mouth.
"Quiet, you bucket of bolts!" she whispered.
"There's nothing we can do now. She's dead."
...
Freddy stood on his stage, restlessly.
"Calm down and go back to sleep, no one is here," Bon-Bon told him in his Harley Quinn like voice. The purple bear turned his eyes to his companion, not lifting up his head.
"Not right now Bon-Bon," Funtime Freddy sat down on the edge of his stage, looking forward at the table in front of him.
The restaurant had been shut down ever since Circus Baby reported a missing children's case to the manager, but didn't tell him that Funtime Foxy wasn't the one who caused it.
"Why didn't you tell Mr Afton that Foxy didn't kill the kid?" Ballora asked, looking at the pink fox that stood on his stage, as still as a statue.
Baby looked at the ballerina and shook her head, "because we'll be shut down forever." She looked at Foxy on his stage, not moving.
"Foxy hadn't moved since..." she trailed off as Funtime Freddy walked over.
"Don't say it! Please..." the animatronic yelled a little, but didn't mean to. "Sorry."
"It's fine Freddy." The clock chimed, signaling that the pizzeria was closing.
The red clown told everyone to go back to their stage and wait for 12AM when the night guard arrived.
...
"Freddy?"
Funtime Freddy stood on his stage with his head hung a little and his eyes closed, like he was powered off.
"Freddy?" the voice came again.
This time, the bear opened his eyes and looked at his hand. It wasn't Bon-Bon asking the question, as the dark blue bunny hand puppet was asleep.
"Freddy!"
Funtime Freddy jerked his head up to see Funtime Foxy standing by his stage, like he was waiting for the bear to preform.
"Oh, hi Foxy," he greeted with a nod of his head.
The animatronic fox shook his head. "Where am I? What's going on?"
"What do you mean Foxy? You're in Circus Baby's Pizza World, the same place you've always been," Freddy said. Funtime Foxy took a step back, horror in his eyes and his face plates split open for a second before closing.
"What!? Oh no! No no no!" The fox was on his knees and put it's claw-like hands on its head. Funtime Freddy walked over and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Foxy, you okay?"
"Yeah..." Funtime Foxy got to his feet, "but I'm not Foxy."
Freddy took a minute to study Foxy before he noticed that his eye color had changed from yellow to chocolate brown. Just like Riley's!
"R-riley?" Funtime Freddy stuttered. Foxy looked at the purple and white bear.
"Yeah?" he asked, or SHE asked.
Freddy's mouth gapped open for a few minutes, wide eyed. Amazed. He didn't even KNOW at this point! He rapped his arms around the animatronic, catching Foxy off guard.
This is... new.
Riley pulled away from Funtime Freddy when he released her from the hug.
"How? How are you still... Alive!?"
"My body may be dead, but my soul is still conscious. It's like seeing your own dead body, but from a different angle, as if your floating... I don't know, it's kinda hard to explain," the fox admitted. "Then my soul got trapped in the funtime model of Foxy."
A light swept up and down the hall, and the two froze. Baby and Ballora walked past them. Well, Ballora twirled past them. Foxy and Freddy looked at each other, then followed the others. Night 1 had begun!
