Riley dragged herself back to Funtime Foxy's stage, feeling drained of energy. She didn't know why, but all she desired right now was to sleep. She looked at the clock: it was 5AM. "The pizzeria is going to open soon," Riley told herself, then she climbed up on the stage next to Ballora's.
Now, sleep...
...
Children laughed as the animatronics did their performance on stage.
"Step right up children, don't be shy," Baby said into her microphone.
Foxy raised his claw-like hand and waved. Riley sighed heavily, thinking about what would be different if she hadn't followed that bunny. That didn't matter at the moment. She just had to get used to this new body.
She was mostly white with a black nose. Her chest, hands, and inner ears were pink, as well as the tip of her tail. Her eyes had changed from yellow to chocolate brown. Riley turned her attention back to the kids and felt a stab of pain. A boy laughed and followed his friends to Freddy, who was looking at Bon-Bon.
Riley felt Ballora's hand on her shoulder and turned her head to face her, though she kept her body still.
"You okay?" the ballerina asked. The animatronic fox nodded his head.
The both froze as Circus Baby came over to them and spoke when she was in earshot.
"Hi Foxy, Ballora."
Riley rolled her eyes. "Still have to get used to that name," she muttered to herself.
Ballora played her music while she danced, her hands above her head. "Hi CB," she replied.
Foxy gave a tiny wave of his tail. "How are you?"
"Fine..." she was interrupted by the intercom.
"Circus Baby, please report back to your stage. Circus Baby, please report back to your stage."
The clown looked at the ceiling for a few seconds then returned to her spot.
...
Riley sat down at a table and rested her head on her hand. Letting out an annoyed sigh, she looked around the empty room. The bunny hand puppet popped up next to her and she screamed, almost falling over. She caught herself on the table and took a breath. "Bon-Bon!" Riley snapped, "don't scare me like that!"
The hand puppet shrugged. "Sorry, I didn't mean to. Anyway, what are you doing?"
Foxy rolled his eyes. "What does it look like I'm doing?" The animatronic fox turned his attention back to the decorated cloth.
Please go away, for the love of!
Her thoughts were interrupted by Funtime Freddy walking over.
Kids rushed in from Circus Baby's room and crowded around them. Bon-Bon quickly got back on Freddy's hand to avoid being trampled.
"Okay, okay kids. The party is coming. Foxy," he hinted on Riley's fake name, "would you be kind as to go get the cake?"
Riley raised her claw-like hand to protest, but she got up against her will and started walking to the kitchen.
Ugh! I can't believe I have to do this. Why can't Ballora do this? She's perfectly capable!
Riley entered the kitchen, got the cake, then went back to the party room. She set the cake on the table and stepped back.
"Thank you, Foxy," Freddy said. The birthday boy blew out the candles, then started stuffing his mouth with the treat. Foxy put a hand on his head, letting out a sigh.
Tomorrow is another day.
