The Chronicles of the Virtual Heroes

Chapter Two

AN: Chapter Two finally out. So we last time we left off with the three humans returning home with the help of a friend now for some explanation and new adventure Hope you like it.

"Urh," said Daniel. The last thing he remembered was that he was in the new video game Ultimate Mon Clash Ace Class. He was with Zoey and her friend Lucian as well as their new yo-kai buddies.

Zoey was next to him and so was Lucian they were all in a house that wasn't familiar to him. It seemed he was the first awake both Zoey and Lucian were knocked out. All three seemed to be back in their normal clothes they didn't have their armor on anymore but they all had a phone in their hands. He recognized the one in Lucian's hand it was the same one he pulled out in the Interfused worlds, the world the game took place in, the world they were trapped in.

Then a girl came in she had long blond hair and her eyes were a pair of pink tourmaline gems intense and beautiful. She walked in with a worried expression that quickly turned into surprise when she saw Daniel.

She said, "Oh you're awake that's good. That means the others should be waking up too soon."

Daniel asked, "Who are you? And what is this place?"
The girl said, "I am Mayuri, Mayuri Izana, this place is my home to be specific we are in my father's computer room."

Daniel said, "Okay, I am Daniel Mack. Why are me and my friends here."

Mayuri said, "Well Daniel, Lucian there is also my friend and I am guessing like you he got sucked into a videogame so using my skills here on earth I was able to save you guys and pull you out of there."

Daniel said, "Oh well then thank you, thank you very much Mayuri."

Mayuri said, "Um you're welcome."

Then Zoey came to too.

Zoey asked, "Hey what's going on? Where are we? Who is she?" All the best questions of course.

Daniel said, "Zoey you're up, um well this is Mayuri, a friend of Lucian's and we are in her house because she saved us by taking us out of the virtual world."

Zoey said, "Mayuri, huh, what if I call you May. What do you think, Danny?"

Mayuri said, "May I like it, and Danny I think I'll start calling you that too, what do you think Danny?"

Daniel said, "Oh no we have another nicknamer."

Zoey and Mayuri both laughed.

Zoey said, "I think we are going to be best friends May."

Mayuri said, "Right back at you Zoey."

Lucian then woke up.

Zoey said, "Oh hey look Luke is back."

Mayuri said, "Wow you came up with a nickname for Lucian. I think I like it, right Luke."

Lucian said, "And this is why I never let you two meet."

"Let me get this straight, so for some odd reason there is an anomaly connected to the UMCAC that causes people to get sucked into this videogame," said Daniel.

Mayuri said, "Yup that's why you and Zoey and Luke were all sucked in each of you was also incorporated as a real-life Ultimate Mon Clash Ace Class fighter. You are all still part of that world it just well how do I explain this."

Zoey said, "Oh I know I was looking at some of your note May and you are super smart by the way and this is how I want to explain it."

Mayuri said, "Shoot."

Zoey said, "Well you see when we go into the videogame world we sort of um digitize almost like um we are a Pokemon and we get sucked into a Pokeball but instead of a Pokeball we are in this special phone and then like a pokemon sent to the PC our bodies somewhat turn into energy and we are sent to the videogame world but you see the other way around when we come back the videogame world for some reason doesn't let all of our body come back so we leave a trail of energy sort of a copy it can't do anything but it is there, sort of like one of those games and the avatar is sleeping."

Lucian said, "You got all of that from just notes."

Zoey said, "Yeah I mean my brother comes up with the weirdest theories all the time and I get through that."

Mayuri said, "Well, um, yes I guess that works as an explanation, of course, your avatar in the videogame world can't last extremely long without you coming back. It needs to have the rest of you every now and then."

Daniel said, "That makes sense sort of like they need a recharge."

Mayuri said, "That's right Danny, now I guess you guys don't need to go back."

Daniel asked, "Hey Mayuri what happens if they don't get a recharge."

Mayuri said, "Um well I am not one hundred percent sure but I think it causes immediate death or game over for you alter ego in the game you won't be able to go back as that character sort of like a game reset."

Lucian said, "Well like you said we won't ever go back so I don't see the point of caring."

Mayuri said, "Yup but then again there are tons of other people trapped in there who aren't lucky enough to have a friend like me with computers and hardware."

Daniel said, "Yeah, wait how did you help us again."

Mayuri said, "Well it was somewhat simple. I since you guys were connected to this world through your special phones I was able to use Lucian's to find out what happened and after I figured out he was trapped in a videogame I tried my best to help and I realized that the phone had the hardware to bring him back home all I needed to do was give him the software to do it. So I made an application this took up most of my time and I was able to send it to Lucian's phone. Of course since at the time I didn't want to give that explanation was made it so that I could control his phone from my computer and when I realized he was with you guys I just had to hook up your guys' phones to my computer and then I was able to get you all home."

Lucian said, "Okay that makes sense but how did you get their bodies over here."

Mayuri said, "Well because I connected your phones to my computer I was able to warp them here but I grabbed their phones afterward just in case. Oh, and if you are wondering how I found out where you live I just found it with my tech skills okay."

Lucian said, "well at least we aren't going back now right."

Zoey said, "But I sort of want to go help some of those people."

Daniel said, "Zoey's right they are trapped in there and we can help."

Lucian said, "Why not let the game company handle it or the government."

Mayuri said, "Well my father's company still doesn't know how to stop this in fact he couldn't even get an immediate recall on the games and the company is too flooded with things to do to stop this mess and the government can't really help in this situation. We can."

Lucian said, "Fine but we need to be careful."

Daniel said, "Okay then let's do this."

Zoey said, "Agreed and we'll be safe since we got armor and yo-kai friends since we are in the yo-kai world right now we don't have much to worry about most yo-kai aren't that strong."

Mayuri said, "We can't underestimate anything though Luke's right this is dangerous."

Lucian asked, "What, you're coming?!"

Mayuri said, "Yes you'll need all the help you can get and besides and can't let you three have all the fun can I."

Daniel asked, "Wait won't we need you to bring us back?"

Mayuri said, "Nope we can just use our phones from the inside."

Zoey said, "Then come on let's go." Daniel, Zoey, and Lucian all opened up their phones and clicked the warping app and like Zoey explained they were sucked in like a Pokemon into a Pokeball. Mayuri opened up her computer and followed them into the Interfused worlds.

For Daniel, Zoey, and Lucian it felt as if they were put back into place like they were complete, finally whole. For Mayuri, she basically just fell into the room the other guys were in. As if she just popped into existence.

Lucian said, "I guess we're back."

Zoey glanced at herself and the two other boys and said, "Yeah, cool we get to keep our armor."

Mayuri got up from falling into existence and said, "So this is what being a virtual world looks like and good it seems my phone is hooked up to my computer too. This place is so cool."

Daniel asked, "What now?"

Lucian said, "Well this was your guys' idea."

Mayuri said, "One second I am trying to pinpoint the location of any of these phones that could be out there."

Zoey said, "Why don't we go talk to the yo-kai and ask what they think."

Lucian said, "You just want to play through this game."

Zoey said, "Yeah I bet that's what other people were doing."

Daniel said, "Well that is what me and Zoey were doing before we ran into you."

Mayuri said, "This might actually be a good way to do it, and we are a bit behind a lot of phones are out further west or east."

Zoey said, "So people are trying to get from the yo-kai world to the Digimon, and Pokemon ones."

Daniel asked, "How do you know that?"

Lucian said, "Easy really I mean anyone who has played the previous titles knows that the Digimon and Pokemon worlds are opposite to each other and at the east and west sides of the Interfused world. Besides, I bet they want to level up since Digimon and Pokemon are typically stronger than Yo-kai."

Mayuri said, "If we play through we have the highest chances of running into people and getting better fighting gear."

Lucian said, "Okay fine then."

Zoey opened the door to the room in the temple they were all in right by the door waiting were all the yo-kai. Draggie who had his wide eyes near the front, Dimmy who was hiding in the back, Blazion was waiting expectantly on the right, and Zappary was on the left nonchalantly fidgeting with his spear.

Draggie asked, "So you thought of a plan yet?"

Zoey said, "No but we were wondering what you guys had in mind."

Zappary said, "Well this place is bandit free ever since the two yo-kai responsible disappeared and we have done a good enough job taking down other unruly yo-kai plus there are many other people out there who are fighting against these mon gangs. I am thinking we make a map of all the most vulnerable cities and towns and try traveling to all of those trying to help them out."

Lucian asked, "Do you have a map?"

Blazion said, "Yes of course we were prepared for this." as he tossed a paper scroll to Lucian who began analyzing it.

Dimmy came from behind Mayuri and asked, "Who is this?" to her and everyone else's surprise.

Zappary said, "It looks like you have found another member."

Blazion said, "I bet this temple has a spare set of armor I'll go get it for her." and Blazion went off.

Draggie said, "Speaking of armor one of the priests here used to be a metalsmith and wanted to repair your armor since it is pretty old."

Daniel looked at his armor and said, "Well it is pretty rusty."

Lucian said, "Thank you Draggie just show us the way."

Draggie said, "Follow me." as he started walking to a different part of the temple.

Zappary said, "While we walk we can talk about our strategy."

Now all four were in a slightly better set of armor and they were all outside of the temple ready to head out to the village where Daniel and Zoey met Zappary, Dimmy, and Blazion. The priests supplied them with food and water and a few camping and medical supplies.

The Priest that took care of Draggie wished them luck and they were off. They walked off through the arcane forest filled with wild animal yo-kai. They didn't cause any trouble. So the little group made it peacefully through the forest until they made it to the town that they were going to.

The town was under attack again. This time by a bigger siege, the people in town were fighting back but they weren't doing that good against their attacks. The siege consisted of several Flippit, several Hissfit, several Zip Unlock, a couple In-Tune, and finally a Zerberker to lead them.

"Okay, that is a lot of yo-kai," said Daniel.

"Yeah that is more than double the amount of yo-kai that we fought the first time," said Dimmy.

Zoey said, "Well we can't just rush them like last time."

Zappary said, "yes, this will require some more thinking."

Lucian asked, "Draggie can you scan the situation?"

Draggie said, "Sure." Draggie used his crystal ball to check the powers of the other yo-kai down there. "Well they are all somewhat weak and they have no plan but their raw power *achoo* can easily destroy us. *sniffle*"

Mayuri said, "I don't know what we can do we are outnumbered greatly."

Blazion said, "Why don't we fight we have the spirit and this is our best time to strike while they have their hands full."

Daniel said, "Blazion is right after they take this town they won't be any easier to attack."

Draggie said, "*Sniffle yeah they'll just be stronger."

Mayuri said, "okay then let's go."

Zoey said, "Yeah. It's go time."

Lucian said, "We have no chance even if these yo-kai can deal good damage to the weaker yo-kai and we help out none of us can take out that Snartle."

Zoey said, "Actually that's a Zerberker but yeah it's too powerful."

Draggie said, "*Achoo* It's a good thing there are four of us yo-kai and four of you humans with armor."

Mayuri said, "That's right with the armor we can activate a bond with a yo-kai and gain their 'stats' and abilities."

Zappary said, "It would be an honor for all of us yo-kai to fight alongside you, four brave souls."

Zoey squealed, "This is going to be so cool!"

Draggie asked, "so um *Achoo* Lucian can I soul bond with you?"

Lucian said, "I don't know who else I would have do it Draggie." Draggie beamed with a smile and gave Lucian a fist bump.

Dimmy came up to Daniel and said, "Um I really liked how you ran in to go for a rescue while Zoey distracted the enemies. I would be happy to soul bond with you."

Daniel said, "Sure, I would love that."

Zappary said, "I want to partner with you Zoey I have to respect your wild and intense style."

Zoey gleamed, "Yes you are such a cool yo-kai I would love to partner with you."

Mayuri said, "I guess that leaves me and you Blazion."

Blazion said, "Okay I can not wait to battle alongside you."

Draggie said, "Let's do this then." Draggie unleashed a green aura that was absorbed by Lucian's armor. Lucian's armor then changed it was now like a green armor in a scale-like style and there were streaks of purple on the front of his chest plate and on top of his arm guards and orange streaks on the back of his chest plate and on the sides of his arm guards. The armor was also a bit bulkier but still movable.

Lucian said, "Nice let's see so with the chest plate and arm guards I get Draggie's strength, minor earth manipulation, and let's see." Lucian brought up his arms and with a flash, two small green claws made of light covered his regular hands.

Zoey said, "Cool you have dragon claws too." Lucian then sheath his claws back.

Zappary said, "Now it is our turn, Zoey." Zappary created a yellow aura and hit Zoey with it and her armor absorbed it. Zoey's chest plate and arm braces became electric yellow like Zappary's hair and they were both decorated with electric blue lightning bolts.

Zoey said, "Yes this is so cool. So now I have Zappary's electric powers and wait." Zoey held out her right hand and a golden light formed a spear in her hand. "Yes and his super cool spear skills."

Mayuri said, " Let's do this Blazion."

Blazion said, "Okay then let's do this." Blazion formed a fiery red aura in his hands and threw it at Mayuri's armor which absorbed it. Mayuri's armor then became a blazing hot red and looked like fire with the clashing yellow with black streaks, and to complete it the shoulder guards on the chest plate became lion's mane.

Mayuri said, "So now I have Blazion's fighting techniques and efficiency as well as his pyrokinesis." Mayuri demonstrated by forming and shooting a fireball out of her fist.

Daniel said, "I guess that just leaves us then Dimmy."

Dimmy said, "Then here I go." Dimmy formed a purple aura in his hands and like the others Daniel's armor absorbed it. Daniel's armor became dark purple and stole the look of Dimmy's clothing looking more like cloth than metal and there was a black streak going across his armor.

Daniel said, "Wow now I have Dimmy's abilities." Daniel reached his right hand over his back and produced a katana made of shadows.

Dimmy said, "you also have my stealthy aura as well as the abilities to fight people in the shadows of course only with the sword but still useful."

Daniel said, "That's so cool."

Zoey said, "I know right."

Zappary said, "Come on now let's go fight those raiders."

Zoey and Zappary led the charge both rushing in with their spears out in front. They were both building up electricity as they ran. They were followed by Lucian and Draggie on their right, the latter of which was on the former's back, and Mayuri and Blazion on their left. Finally, Dimmy and Daniel were taking up the rear.

Zerberker said, "Rah, urh, yah! Huh, hey looks like this town has reinforcements, hey you guys go get 'um."

A few Hissfit growled, "Yeah roar yeah!" and they along with a few Flippit, and a few Zip Unlock they ran to face the opposing force.

Right as all the yo-kai rushed the four humans and four yo-kai. Zappary and Zoey unleashed their electric attacks shooting twin grand blue bolts from their spears heavily damaging all the enemy yo-kai and sending them flying but they weren't down for the count yet. This caught the attention of Zerberker who sent the rest of his troops to attack them while he finished off the rest of the town.

Zoey and Zappary were consistently jabbing and zapping perfectly in sync they had each other's back.

Mayuri and Blazion were to the left of Zoey and Zappary hitting the Zip Unlocks with fireballs and punches and delivered powerful punches to the Hissfits and Flippits. Blazion rushed in deeper to attack with flips and kicks while Mayuri watched his back.

Lucian and Draggie took the right. Lucian had Draggie analyze his opponents and Draggie guided Lucian through attacks. Lucian constantly switched between rock launching attacks, dragon clawing, and direct punches in an unrelenting fury, launching attack after attack in succession.

Daniel and Dimmy quickly disappeared and launched sneak attacks they weren't close at all because they attacked in the shadows but they were effectively wiping out some of the back lines as well as stopping attacks from behind.

Soon every single enemy yo-kai was defeated on the floor but the whole village was destroyed by Zerberker.

Zerberker said, "Haha, urh you are all pathetic you can't even take down eight weak fools. I guess I am going to have to deal with them myself. RAAAAAAAH!" Zerberker then stormed over in rage to attack the eight. Dimmy disappeared into the shadows but Zoey, Zappary, Mayuri, and Blazion all prepared to fight while Lucian braced for impact.

Zoey looked at Mayuri and they both nodded. Blazion jumped extremely high and then like a meteor lit on fire and started to dive down with his fist out. Mayuri increased the power of Blazion's flames by hitting him with a stream of fire from both her fists. Zoey and Zappary then added their lightning shocks from their spears. Zerberker was hit by both attacks and there was an explosion.

The smoke cleared and Zerberker was still standing he then fell to his knee from force of the attack.

Zoey, Mayuri, and Zappary were all panting from their high output of elemental attacks. Blazion was standing right by Zerberker in a similar position but then the two In-Tunes came and healed Zerberker with their healing melodies. That caused Zoey, Mayuri, Zappary, Lucian, Draggie, and mostly Blazion to lose hope. Each of their hearts sank.

Zerberker said, "Of you want something done right do it yourself." Zerberker lifted both his blades and swung them both down in an X like style on Blazion. Zoey, Mayuri, Lucian, Draggie, and Zappary all tried to launch an attack to stop it but they all knew none of them would be fast enough.

Right as Zerberker's blades went down though Daniel appeared right in front of Zerberker blocking both his swords with his one. This shocked everyone.

Zerberker asked, "What do you think you're doing boy I will kill you and him."

Daniel said, "No you won't." and he slashed all three blades down. Zerberker flew into a rage-induced frenzy but this time he just had to take care of one blade the other one was taken care of by Blazion who started fighting alongside Daniel.

Lucian shot rocks knocking the two In-tune out with the stones.

Zoey, Mayuri, and Zappary all tried to add as much damage to Zerberker as possible of course without hitting Blazion or Daniel.

They wore Zerberker out but not before he knocked both Blazion and Daniel away. Zerberker then flipped his blades around and prepared to stab both Daniel and Blazion.

Zerberker said, "Haha game over." but right as he was going to finish his attack he felt a sharp pain. "AHAHHHHHHHHHHAAHHHHHHHH!"

Dimmy said from behind, "Don't mind me." as he removed his blade from Zerberker's shadow.

Zerberker fell to the ground defeated said, "Why you. Arh! Uh, doesn't matter we'll all fall anyway soon they're here." Zerberker then disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Blazion asked, "What was that about?"

Daniel said, "Thanks Dimmy you were great saving both me and Blazion at the last second."

Dimmy said, "That's just how I roll it's nothing special."

Blazion said, "Yeah thanks you two, I was saved by both of you."

Zoey said, "That was awesome we all did great I mean me and Zappary brought the thunder literally, Blazion and May burned away most of our enemies, Luke and Draggie shredded through the troops, and Dimmy and Danny destroyed Zerberker."

Mayuri said, "Yeah but look at the town it's in shambles."

Zappary said, "Not to worry."

Lucian said, "Not to worry? That should take forever to fix."

Draggie said, "Well small towns are weaker than bigger ones they are easier to fix." right as Draggie said that the villagers all quickly started building as quickly as possible they all seemed inspirited by speedy yo-kai.

Lucian said, "I stand corrected."

Zappary said, "Now let's check on these villagers." So Zappary led the whole group into the village and they checked on each villager everyone said they were fine. They had saved the town. They had achieved victory.

Deep in the Interfusedworlds, though there were other villages that were attacked that day each of them taken over not by just a band of rouge mons but by one powerful force of people and mons.
