He may have been Only Eleven years old but he knew he was in love with her. He suddenly woke up from his dream and felt something sticky in his underwear .
He pulled off the sheets from around his waist realizing he had a wet dream. His privates were still hard from the dream.
He groaned and removed his underwear and went into the bathroom and washed the sticky stuff away. He remembered hearing about this in sex ed class which he hated.
After putting on a fresh pair of briefs he climbed in bed and fell asleep.
The next morning he was relieved that it didn't happen again last night and got up for breakfast.
After breakfast he walked across the trailer park to Opal's house. Opal was happy to see him. They ran outside and talked for a little while they then went swimming in the creek Opal wore her bathing suit underneath her clothes Garret changed into his and they played and splashed for hours.
A few hours later they were walking back home when Opal asked him if he wanted to have a sleepover. Garret said sure. They ran to their parents and asked them and they said yes .
That night they watched movies talked ate popcorn and had icecream . Penny kicked Opal's feet making her giggle. They then went outside and made a campfire. Garrett's dad revealed he had brought a tent from home which they used to go camping in.
Opal and Garret sat outside and made smores .
They had chocolate all over their face making them laugh. They eventually decided to get ready for sleep because it was late around 10:00.
They brushed their teeth and Opal changed into her nightshirt that Garrett thought she looked cute in. The night was blue and it didn't quite make it to her knees. Garrett undressed down to his underwear and climbed up the covers.
They tried to go to sleep but Garret couldn't sleep He had something going through his mind. Opal you awake? Yeah can't sleep ? She asked .
Garret nodded. Me too she said . I was just thinking about something she said.
Me too Garret replied. Do you like me ? Opal asked Like more than a friend. Yes why do you ask ? he said suprised.
I have feelings for you too she told him and he turned around to face her. I didn't know what I was feeling at first now I know she said. Well we will be in middle school when summer is over Garret said. Maybe that's why we are starting to develop feelings for each other.
Yeah Opal said flashing a pretty smile. Will you be my boyfriend ? She asked. Sure Garret said but don't know how to be a boyfriend and go on dates.
We will explore this relationship Opal told him .
She suddenly leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. Will you go steady with me ? She asked.
Sure Garret said kissing her back they fell asleep in each other's arms . Their parents checked their tent the next morning finding them in each other's arms like before with smiles on their faces.
His knew that they confessed their feelings for each other. She was happy about that. They woke up to find their parents in front of them. They blushed and his parents gave them breakfast in bed. They had pancakes with syrup. It was a good breakfast.
Opal went home later and told her dad about the sleepover. She said they kissed and the Preacher told Garret to treat his daughter well which Garret promised.
