Day 1: War is Declared
Wei Compound
It was relatively early in the morning as the sun had only just now shined its rays on the ground surrounding the sizable metal building. This location was the Wei Compound, a home built by the Oban Earth Team for the Oban Earth Team. This had been a later aftermath of Jordan becoming the new Avatar and everyone returning home from the race. While it had been some time before Jordan had seen everyone again, he had found that his new role not only allowed him to travel the universe, but allowed him quite a bit of time to spend with the gang. Every now and then, he had to leave to take care of his duties as the Avatar, but he always found time to come back to his home planet. Around that time, despite having their own personal lives, Don Wei and the two mechanics Koji and Stan had opted to put together a compound for the gang to call home. They indeed felt like a family. And if you looked in the right places, you could find that salvaged parts from the first two Whizzing Arrows' hulls and frames had been used in the construction. Just about everyone was asleep. Everyone except the two mechanics, that is.
The two snuck into the large garage at the side of the compound, which held a familiar looking ship. At a first glance, one would think it was the Whizzing Arrow III, but it wasn't. This was the Re:Arrow, a replica of the Arrow III that the gang had made for recreational uses. The rebuilt original was kept in a reinforced garage below the compound.
"This should be fun," Stan said grinning as Koji held up a gun-shaped device which projected a green energy blade upon him holding the trigger. They both grinned and got to work, they climbed onto the ship and began cutting into the cockpit dome. They weren't stupid enough to try this on the actual Arrow III, as Don Wei would have had their heads if they did.
Jordan and Eva (also known as Molly), whose rooms had windows that looked out into the garage, remained sound asleep despite the cutting sounds. The two mechanics were halfway through hacking at the cockpit dome before the racing duo awoke and spotted them.
"Can you hack silently?" Stan asked as he handed a pickaxe to Koji who was standing atop the turret. Koji swung and struck the hull just above the turret, only for Jordan and Molly to throw open their windows.
"The heck are you guys doing?" Jordan asked.
"Good morning, lovebirds," Stan said as he and Koji started laughing.
"Jeez, I get back from doing Avatar stuff at freaking midnight and this is my wakeup call," Jordan said as Molly shook her head.
"Don't worry, you guys'll love it," Stan said as Koji gave the pick another swing, this time smashing the turret ball in.
"Oops, that's gonna smart," Koji said while laughing while both Jordan and Molly just shook their heads.
By now, the entire crew was awake. Rick came out, followed by Don Wei who was in turn followed by his spectral wife Maya.
Her presence among the gang was an interesting circumstance. Jordan couldn't revive the dead with his powers, so he opted to do the next best thing: give Maya the ability to travel between here and the afterlife as well as interact with the living. The living Weis were initially uncertain of what to make of this, but realized this allowed them to do some much-needed catching up. It was a strange way of doing so, but they were happy.
"What on Earth are you both doing?!" Don Wei said with a tone of anger in his voice. You couldn't tell if his irritation was because of the mechanics tearing parts off the Re:Arrow or the fact that he had been woken up at Creators know how early in the morning.
"Can this be put back together?" Maya asked.
"Yeah, easily. We were gonna make it a convertible, cause why not?" Stan said as he and Koji got back to work.
By the time they were done, parts of the hull had been removed and the cockpit dome was completely hacked off, and of course the glass for the turret ball was still smashed.
"It looks horrible," Molly griped.
"The Arrow II looked better than this, and it got cut in half," Jordan said. Koji and Stan just started laughing.
"I am not paying to have this fixed. That's your problem," Don said as he headed back in, followed by Maya, Rick, Koji, and Stan.
"Honestly, now that I think about it, I'm not that upset," Molly said as she looked over the ship.
"How are you not upset? Those clowns just sawed our ship to hell and back," Jordan said. Molly turned and faced Jordan while bearing the same irritated expression Jordan had.
"Because I know they have some serious hell coming their way," she began, "They are so dead."
They both walked inside to confront the two mechanics.
"We count on you to keep our ship in good shape and you ruin it," Molly said to the two tool monkeys.
"You betrayed us," Jordan started, slinging water at them, "You're going down. Prank war."

"Looks like it might get ugly," Stan said as Koji started laughing.
Meanwhile, the racing duo were plotting their payback, they wanted to do something big.
"I have an idea, I can mess up their room," Jordan said. Molly just looked at him and raised an eyebrow.
"I can spill wing sauce, mess with their clothes, I'll do whatever I can," Jordan replied.
"It isn't much, but it's a start," Molly said. Within minutes, the two were on Molly's rocket seat and speeding off to the nearest wing shop. Once they came back, Jordan took the box of wings, went into Koji and Stan's room, stripped down to his boxers, put on Stan's boxers over his own and hopped onto Koji's bunk where he started chowing down on wings, the results were quite a mess. Jordan then opened the dresser and slung their clothes everywhere. Later, the two mechanics returned, only to be surprised at what they found.
"What's up, traitors?" Jordan said while grinning and having returned to Koji's bunk.
"This was the freaking last thing I wanted to see when we got back," Stan said as he and Koji looked over the mess.
"Payback's a bitch, guys. And this one's a double," Jordan said while grinning. He had ruined Stan's boxers as well as Koji's bunk.

Koji, however, saw something that could be used to turn things in the favor of him and Stan.
"Are these your pants, Jordan?" he asked while grinning, "They're coming with us." Both Koji and Stan took off out of the room.
"Hey!" Jordan called out as he got up and wrapped himself up. He ran after them as fast as his legs could carry him, while trying not to trip over the sheet he was wrapped in.
"Hey, Jordan, I hope your pants can swim!" Stan called out as he and Koji ran outside and tossed Jordan's pants into the nearby pool. Molly, having seen this, quickly grabbed the net and started fishing out Jordan's pants. Jordan, while thankful that his phone wasn't in those pants, was not happy, as he picked up a rock and hurled it straight at Koji and Stan's window, completely smashing it. Rick had come out to see what the commotion was, only to tell Jordan to cover himself better as he was still wearing nothing more than wing sauce splattered boxers and a bedsheet.
"Wait, are those Stan's boxers?" Molly asked while fighting back a laugh as she put the net away.
"Yeah, it was part of the prank," Jordan replied as he tried to wring out his soaked pants.
"Now you're stuck with 'em cause your pants are soaked," Stan replied while laughing. Jordan just shook his head as he went back inside to change. Molly followed and listened to him search for clothes to wear.
"C,mon I gotta have something good," Jordan said to no one in particular.
"You could always wear your Avatar robe," Molly jokingly suggested.
"Ok, first I don't have one. Second, if I did, I wouldn't wear it outside of doing Avatar stuff," Jordan said, "I'm spending time with you guys, not leaving for an audience with the Pope."

Some time later after cleaning up the mess from Jordan's recent pranks, Stan and Koji were cruising through town in a sleek-looking hover car, they were heading to meet up with Molly and Jordan to get something to eat.
"Jeez, the hell did you get this ride from?" Stan asked.
"A friend of mine from before I worked at Miguel's lent it to me," Koji answered as he kept driving.
"Is your buddy gonna be pissed when Molly and Jordan chop it in half?" Stan asked while laughing. Koji said nothing and tried his best not to think about that possibility. They then pulled into a bar restaurant, sat down and ordered their food. Just when their food had arrived, Molly had gotten up to use the restroom, while Jordan was pulled away by a call on his cellphone. Taking advantage of their absence, Stan grabbed Molly's bowl of chowder. He then started by drinking the broth out of the bowl before spitting it back into another bowl, while Koji scooped out the more solid parts, chewed them and added them to the new bowl, which they quickly returned to Molly's side of the table. About half a minute later, the racing couple came back to the table and started eating. Partway through eating, Molly stopped as she had felt that something was off about her chowder.
"What did you guys do?" she asked. Koji and Stan said nothing as they were busy stifling their giggles.
"Yeah that soup doesn't look right," Jordan commented. Koji and Stan just started full-blown laughing.
"I'm gonna hurl," Molly said as she quickly got up and headed to the restroom, while sneakily snagging Koji's wallet. Jordan immediately followed to make sure she was alright. In the bathroom, Molly puked out the soup she had eaten and then proceeded to toss Koji's wallet into the puke-filled toilet bowl. She walked back out and immediately ran into Jordan.
"You alright, Mol?" Jordan asked.
"I'm fine, I tossed Koji's wallet in the toilet," Molly answered as she shook her head, as if trying to shake off the taste from the bad soup and bile-riddled taste from the aftermath of vomiting. Jordan's eyes briefly wandered before settling on a random fishing rod, likely left by a previous customer.
"Hey, let's use this," he said as he grabbed the rod, "We'll attach it to his wallet and let some line out and then just hand him the rod when he sees it." Molly grinned at the idea and took the rod. After going into the restroom to attach the line, she came back out while letting some of the line out. The two returned to their table and handed Stan the rod.
"Follow the line," Jordan said while grinning. Stan did just that, reeling in the line as he went. Just as he was reaching the way to the two restrooms, he briefly retched in response to a horrid smell. Steeling himself, he kept reeling in the line as a damp object was pulled along the floor and out of the doorway to the ladies' room.
"A wallet?" Stan asked as he reeled in the damp wallet. Upon closer inspection, his eyes widened.
"Oh shit, it's Koji's wallet," Stan said as he walked back to the table. Koji just let his head drop to the table after seeing his damp wallet hanging from the fishing line. He took a quick whiff before lurching back in disgust.
"What is that?!" he asked as he gagged.
"Nothing, just the puke from the soup," Molly replied as she and Jordan bursted into laughter.
"Talk about 'dirty money'!" Jordan said while laughing hysterically.
"You've gotta pay the bill, Koji. You agreed to it," Molly said while laughing. Koji scowled as he used a pair of forks to fish the money out of his puke-stained wallet.

Everyone had gone back to the compound, but the war was still on. Molly and Jordan were busy plotting for a way to take the edge in the prank war. Molly scratches her chin in thought before an idea sprung to mind.
"What if we slip them something really spicy? Like chili peppers or something?" she suggested. Jordan then gained a devilish grin.
"Give me a moment," he said. He shut his eyes as a pink and gold twister seemed to form around him just before he vanished in a flash of light. Molly waited for a few minutes, she even put on some eurobeat music to pass the time. A few minutes and a glowing twister later, Jordan was back, this time with a small box of what looked to be white, bulgy peppers with red spots on the bulges.
"Nourasian death peppers," Jordan began, "So spicy that if cooked improperly, the heartburn they give you will make you feel like death."
"Way to go the extra mile, Jordan," Molly said while smiling, "Now how do we slip these to those two grease monkeys?" Jordan simply smirked and carried the peppers to the kitchen. He cut one in half and handed a half to Molly.
"Take that to the bathroom down here and rub the juices on the toilet paper, I'll do the same to the bathroom upstairs," Jordan explained while Molly did her best to stifle her laughter once she realized what Jordan had in mind. Once the toilet paper had a needed amount of pepper juice on them, the duo tossed the halves and put the box with the rest of them away.
"Now it's just a matter of waiting for them to use either of the bathrooms," Jordan said with a smirk.
"And hoping that Dad and Rick don't end up using them first," Molly tacked on, shuddering as she knew full well that her father would be mad as a bull if he was to end up one of the victims of such a prank. To pass the time, the pair opted to play a round of pool. It wasn't too long before Koji and Stan had come back home. Jordan and Molly did their best to keep an open ear to them, as they couldn't watch them without looking suspicious.
"We'll worry about that later, I need to use the bathroom," Stan said as he ran upstairs.
"I should probably do the same," Koji said to no one in particular as he went into the other bathroom. About a minute or so later, they could hear Koji groaning in pain, which was followed by a shout of pain from Stan, as the two had leapt into the showers and tried to cool down their unmentionables. A few minutes later, they both came out walking bandy-legged.
"God they're burning," Stan groaned. Jordan and Molly could not hold back their laughter anymore, they dropped their pool cues and collapsed to the floor while laughing hysterically.
"You guys suck," winced Koji.

Still bandy-legged, the two mechanics headed out to try to find something that could help them situate their...problem. Meanwhile, Jordan and Molly passed the time with some rounds of pool before it started getting late, then they both went to their rooms to get ready for bed.
Jordan had just finished changing into his pajamas before he heard a knock on his door. Jordan opened the door to find...a mattress?
The mattress then moved into his room, revealed to have been pushed by Molly, who was also carrying some sheets and a pillow.
"What are you doing?" Jordan asked as Molly set the mattress down before tossing the sheets and pillow on it.
"I'm staying in here. I don't trust those two junk monkeys to not pull anything on us overnight," Molly said as she plopped onto her mattress. Jordan wasn't sure how to react, but he knew Molly had a point; Koji and Stan could possibly pull something nasty on them while they were snoozing. Jordan went to sleep while Molly covered herself under all her sheets. What would await them on the next day?
