Chapter 5: From Hunter to Prey
Eri was nervous.
After the Sport's Festival she got an internship in the same company of her dad. What was going to be only go around the city, watching for anything, turned into a mission to arrest a villain that almost killed Iida's brother.
The heroes; Endeavor, Eraserhead, Uwabami and Sir Nighteye are going to the scene to arrest him. Shoto, her senior in UA, Mirio Togata, Momo and Itsuka and herself are going with them.
"I don't see why we need so many heroes just to arrest one punk." Endeavor said and Uwabami nodded.
"I agree. Me and my two protégé were busy. And to come to the mountain just for this is just too much." She complained.
Shota said nothing, thinking that this guy is the same that killed Hasato. Sir Nighteye turned to Uwabami "Uwabami, tell us if your snakes pick up anything."
The celebrity nodded and Momo was taking notes of everything, happy to be in an actual hero mission.
"Don't be nervous." Shoto said to Eri "I'll protect you."
Eri nodded and smiled to him "Thanks Shoto!"
"It looks that this guy is strong, so the best thing is to work together!" Mirio said when Uwabami stopped.
"Found him?" Shota asked and Uwabami nodded.
"Yes. He is with another person... and there is blood."
*With Izuku, Minutes Earlier*
Izuku was resting on the couch, shirtless and a wet rag over his forehead. His whole torso was bandaged, both of his wrists was too, and his left tight was bandaged with his pant sleeved up.
The Stain fight really left him messed up. He needed to rest for a while before leaving again.
He took the rag off his head and looked at the door. He swears he heard something odd.
He walked to the door and opened it. There it was a kid around his age, dressed really close to the hero he killed last time glaring at him "You! I found you!"
Izuku raised a brow "Who are you?"
"My name is Tenya Iida! Brother of Tensei Iida! The hero you almost killed!" Iida screamed in anger and Izuku snapped his tongue.
"Almost? Man, I got really bad if I couldn't notice if he was still alive." Izuku said rubbing his head. He turned to Iida with a bored look "And what? You want revenge or something?"
Iida glared at him and run to him at great speeds. But after fighting his brother, Izuku grew to know this. Iida threw a wild kick to Izuku's head that ducked the attack. Iida landed to receive a roundhouse kick from Izuku sending him some feet away.
Iida struggled to stand up and kept glaring at Izuku that smirked "Is that all?"
Iida got in position to start running "Recipro Burst!" He screamed reaching a great speed that for anyone would be impossible to react. But Izuku, already getting hit with the same move in the past, knew how to dodge it.
He jumped and hit Iida with his knee on the chin, sending him flying towards a tree, all momentum lost.
Izuku walked towards the fallen Iida and scoffed "If your brother was an amateur, you are not even a beginer." He said and grabbed Iida by the neck of his armor. Izuku watched with disdain the fearful face of Iida and raised his fist, covered in the blue aura.
Only for the aura to disappear seconds after.
"Eh?" he said letting go of Iida and turning to the three heroes in front of him "Backup?"
"Surrender now! You are surrounded!" Endeavor ordered and Izuku grinned and got in pose.
Sir Nighteye saw what will happen next and threw three of his hyper-density seals and Izuku caught them with his right hand and proceeded to crush them in his hand. Sir frowned "Eraser, are you-"
"Yes." Eraserhead confirmed "He wasn't using his quirk. He is that strong. Canceling his quirk won't do much." He said blinking to rest his eyes.
Endeavor created a spear out of fire and threw at Izuku, that covered his feet and hands with the blue aura side-stepped the spear and went to the hero and tried to punch him in the stomach, but the hand going for the attack got caught by Eraser scarf and with his free hand caught another five projectiles from Sir.
Endeavor went for a fire-infused punch, but Izuku kicked his punch making the fire hero take a step back. Izuke threw at him the hyper-density seals at him, but with a wave of fire, Endeavor melted them.
Izuku jumped out of the way, and using the fire, burn the scarf holding him, and landed on top of his hut. He saw how Shoto and Eri were carrying Iida away. Sir turned to Mirio "Lemillion! Help us!"
Mirio nodded and run towards the hut. Izuku grinned and jumped to the aspiring hero, and tried to elbow him on the face. At the speed he jumped, it would be impossible to dodge.
But he went past him, going through Mirio, surprising Izuku.
Izuku rolled in mid-air landed on his feet and went to roundhouse kick, just for it to go through Mirio's head. Once the leg passed, Mirio punched him on the face, sending Izuku back.
Izuku recovered in the air, landing with his hand before putting himself back on his feet. He felt how the scarf tied both of his legs, and felt ten of Sir's proyectiles, hit him on the ribs, and he swears he heard a crack.
Mirio went to poke Izuku's eyes, so Izuku bocked with both arms, but in the last moment, Mirio turned his body and punched him in the gut, for then Endeavor, punch him on the back of the head with a fire-infused punch, sending him crashing to the ground.
Izuku used his hand to launch himself up and grabbing the clothe binding his feet together, he broke it. He twisted to dodge another spear made out of fire from Endeavor and landed on his feet, panting hard.
He was surrounded. Mirio, Endeavor, Eraser and Sir and he was in the middle. "Just give up. It is over." Eraser said and Izuku smirked.
"It is over when I die." Izuku said getting in pose. Sir threw 5 seals and Eraser his scarf. The scarf wrapped on Izuku's wrist and before the seals could hit, he saw what will happen next.
"Eraser! Dodge!" Sir screamed as Izuku grabbed the seals and threw them with great speed and force to eraser that hit him in the chest sending him to the ground.
Izuku grabbed the scarf and swing the body of Eraser to Endeavor that caught him. Izuku used that distraction to jump and kick Endeavor on the head sending him crashing and into the floor, Eraser landing next to him.
Sir knowing it was a bad idea to go, but it would end up worse if he doesn't, went towards and and punched Izuku on the face, and covering both his fists in the aura, hit 10 times on the torso to Sir in mid-air.
He turned to Mirio that appeared from the floor and uppercut him and then punched him in the chest, opening the gash made by Stain.
Blood was made visible through the bandages and Izuku glared at Mirio, while holding his chest "Why you..."
An explosion was heard as Endeavor bursted from the floor, impulse by flames, to kick Izuku on the face sending him back. Izuku landed on a tree, just as Endeavor shot a torrent of fir at his direction. Izuku managed to jump away, but his right leg got burn.
Izuku rolled on the ground as he heard "Phantom Meneace SMASH!" Suddenly, Mirio appeared from the ground and punched him in the gut so hard that a shockwave was formed behind him. Mirio grunted as he felt his arm been broken but Izuku took some shaky steps back before he fell to his knees and arms.
Endeavor walked to him, and kicked him on the side of the stomach, sending Izuku some feet back. Izuku was looking to the sky and the one thing he could see, was a small kid, with green hair and a scared look on his face, as he was kicked on the face.
He gasped as Endeavor stood over him, foot on his stomach, as blood purred from the wound on his chest.
A scream was heard and they turned to see that Uwabami, Momo and Itsuka were being attacked by a Nomu. Eri and Shoto went to help, and so did Endeavor and Mirio.
Izuku was left lying there as he watched the sky. He lost. That was clear. He turned to the Nomu as it grew out two wings and started to breathe fire. Shoto froze its feet and Eri jumped and kicked the Nomu on the head. But the Nomu didn't even flinch as it grabbed Eri and started to fly away.
He could run. He should run. But he didn't. Instead, with the few strength he had left, rushed to the group, jumped, landed on Endeavor's head and jumped again, landed on top of the Nomu as his right fist got covered in the blue aura "Fist of Flowing Water, Rock Crusher!"
The head of the Nomu exploded and crushed on the floor. Eri looked to see Izuku moving the body of the Nomu for her to stand up, before immediately collapsing again.
Eri went to his side "Why you help me?" She asked as Sir and Eraser were coming to the group.
"Eri! Stay away from him!" Shota ordered but Eri didn't obey. Instead, kept looking Izuku at the eyes.
He smirked "I don't know... my feet... you know... move on their own..." He said before passing out.
