The building was pitch dark and it was non existent of all life, complete silence. The blurred out images of control panels and electric circuits resided in the center of the room. This is where the story takes place, back where it all started. In a town called Angel Grove famously known for where the Power Rangers saved common citizens from the armies of intergalactic space aliens and villains. But in this time an era the Power Ranger has been no more. Over time and through many different teams of Rangers they have eradicated all sources of evil energies. Years have gone by where humans lived truly in peace. No explosions or creatures taking the streets terrorizing innocent people. It was almost as if most of the population even forgot who the Power Rangers were. This was all going to end, the world and all of humanity would soon need the Power Rangers once more. In the crevice of Deep Space, so far that it had never even been explored resided an evil, terrifying sorcerer named Master Galix. Surpassed Lord Zedd, Dark Spector and every other entity that the Rangers ever faced. Just like Lord Zedd no one had ever heard from him because he was too busy taking control of other planets and dimensions. It had been centuries that he had resided on his planet named after him, Galixis.
In a dark chamber, a dim light zipped its way through the cracks to barely illuminate the room. A cauldron bubbled with excitement and it seemed to be almost like a trophy of some sort. The charcoal colored walls seemed aged, falling apart in some ways. Within a flash a cloaked figure hobbled through the room and instantly attended to the Cauldron. A simple wave of his hand the liquid inside mirrored the image of the happiness of Earth. "So it seems all attempts have failed. Zedd, Rita, Divatox, Astronema, all of them." A dark raspy voice emitted into the room. "But alas what had stopped them?" Although many of the villains he had listed had never heard of him, Master Galix had certainly heard of them. One of the reasons he had never left his galaxy was because of all the traffic going through the universe.
"Little did they know every spell, every creature was siphoned from my powers. My energy. Well of course every good thing accomplished, can only reach fruition when you do it yourself." The figure slammed his staff on the ground as he cautiously walked over to his throne. The planet of Galixis had become desolate, everyone that had opposed him either perished or had been captured. There were no survivors, no one to run and tell his enemies about his presence. "MAGNUS!" Master Galix vocalized as he pointed to the door. Within seconds his follower ran into the room, with a shaken voice he replied "Yes Master Galix, what disturbs you?" This voice was much different than his master's. Almost soft in a way but always stuttering in fear, Magnus was also cloaked but unlike Master Galix his face was visible. Red skin, a pair of horns on each temple and two sets of yellow eyes. Magnus was taught everything he knew from his Master and debited his entire being to Galix.
Master Galix stood and clicked his scepter once again, a thing an evil monarch would do when they demanded attention.
"It seems all my evil predecessors have failed to take over the galaxies, it seems beings called Power Rangers have stopped evil from taking hold. This is unacceptable, one reason I have let them sap my powers was to ensure my wicked ways would flaunt over the universe. We shall take care of this ourselves, my Cauldron has told me the energies of these Power Rangers are no more. It seems they are no more. I've grown bored of lounging around this planet. It only gave me excitement when I first took it over, but now that it is mine there is no point in staying."
Magnus kneeled down to his Master and held up his hands "What is your plan Master, just tell me and I shall see your demands are fulfilled." Master Galix let out an evil cackle as he thought it was pointless to inform Magnus. If he couldn't piece together the plan himself it wasn't worth going into all the details. "Why my dear child, if it isn't obvious I may not have any hope for you. But the first thing is to first fire up our vessel. We are going to this place called Earth. I want to see for myself why every villain has failed me." Magnus hurried out of the room and went to the control room where he slapped his digits on buttons. After the combination the setting erupted in tremors, it had been quite some time that they even fired up their galactic vehicle. "Course for Earth set, my liege." Magnus shouted back to his Master. "Excellent, soon my Cauldron and I should once again have some excitement. Once again the worlds will tremble at my name, and there is nothing anyone could do about it." The ship blasted into hyper drive and within moments they were entering Earth's galaxy.
The pitched out room blasted to life, all the panels sizzled with electricity and lights beamed from all around. A whirred voice erupted as a mechanical device powered on, a familiar being. "Testing, Testing. Ai Yi Yi Yi Yie! This isn't good, this isn't good at all." It was Alpha just like his ancestors 5 and 6 this was a newly updated Alpha. Before all the Rangers went into retirement they thought smart. If there ever was a surge of evil energy he would awaken to assemble a new team of Rangers before it would be too late. Fashioned by Andros the Red Space Ranger he was hidden away where no one would ever be able to find him. Equipped with all the knowledge of all previous Rangers he was the thing the world needed.
This version was called Alpha Z, made to look the same but he was far from it. This version was able to attain his original voice and behavior. What Alpha 6 had truly missed his original tones but never voiced his opinion on because he didn't want to hurt the Rangers' feelings. Alpha Z ran to the controls and ran around lost in thought. "I need to find the Rangers, oh wait. They're retired, I am programmed to pick out a new team of Rangers." Alpha placed his hand on his head and continued mashing in buttons.
"ANDROS! ZHANE! Oooooooh please answer." He pleaded as their images zapped on the screen. "Alpha? Alpha is that really you? It is so nice to see you my friend but if you're awake that can only mean one thing." Andros had aged since the world had seen his face after all it had been years since he held the title of the Red Space Ranger. "Yes Andros, evil energies are flooding the galaxy. There is something out there headed right for Earth." Andros looked shocked as another person came into the frame. "Oh my goodness is that Alpha I hear?!" Alpha Z rocked back and forth trying to keep calm for his old friend. "Ashley! Oh how it is so good to see you again. Are you enjoying things on KO-35?" Before Ashley could answer Alpha, Andros cut in "Alpha now isn't the time to catch up, you were created to make sure if the planet ever needed a team of Rangers you would awaken and be able to." Ashley nodded as she knew when Andros built Alpha that he would remain dormant until evil came back. "And here we thought we could happily live out our retirement." Ashley chimed out with a sarcastically chipper tone.
Andros placed his hand on her's and sighed "Ashley, we did our part for Earth. I got my sister back, I have you. This is why it is vital to make a new set of Rangers, although I am certain the others would love to suit up as would I. But it's time to give others the pride and joy of becoming Power Rangers." Alpha placed his hands on the panels and started smashing in more buttons after all he was scanning the planet for potential Rangers. "You can do this Alpha, I know you can. That is why I built you with the database I did. You know what it takes to be a Ranger, now you just have to find them." Andros pleaded out to his old friend. Ashley threw her arm over the former Red Ranger's shoulders and agreed. "Yeah Alpha we have faith in you, and if you need help breaking in the new recruits we are just a phone call away. It was great seeing you but I shall let you get to it." Ashley kissed Andros' cheek and waved goodbye as she took her leave. Andros wrapped up the transmission and also took his leave "I believe in you Alpha, save the planet like before." The screen zapped into darkness and silence covered the room.
Alpha shook his head as lights zapped across his face "Oh how I wish Zordon was still here, he made finding Rangers look like a walk in the park." Alpha jumped as the Command Center alerted him of potential Rangers. "Ai yi yi yi yie! Please oh please tell me I found the Rangers!" The screen lit backup and imaged out a map of Earth and as it zoomed into focus Angel Grove was flashing red. "I found them! I found the new Rangers, Zordon would be so proud of me. The perfect team of Rangers right here in Angel Grove. Odd they always happen to be here but that doesn't matter! I have to bring them here."
As the scene left the room the picturesque building stood where the original Command Center did, on top a cliff just outside of Angel Grove where no one could just stumble across it. This is where it started, this is where it would truly end.
Bells rang out and suddenly a roar of screaming and yelling, it was the last day of Angel Grove High. Seniors were officially done with school and from the sounds of it they couldn't be happier. As the hallways emptied out a pair of students lingered behind a moderately average built male and a petite bubbly girl walked shoulder to shoulder. "C'mon Remy we have to do something exciting this summer, we haven't made plans for college and we have to do something. The girl was named Aviana Rinehart, the captain on the school's gymnastic team and no matter the time she was always known to be cheerful and energetic. Her typical long ponytail flowed down her shoulders adorning her blondish brown hair. Remington Beckett, her best friend stood aside her and although he wasn't the captain he was known for being the guy who won the most awards on the swim team. After coming out of the closet he had been shamed and almost taken off the team if it wasn't for the coach. Remington was the definition of a swimmer's build, average in height but not over muscular. His light brown hair was buzzed on the sides but long at the bangs, one thing he refused to do was chop all of his hair for swimming. When Remy was younger he was bit by one of the neighbors dog and because of that he had a scar through his left eyebrow. People accused him of shaving it to look that way but it was nonsense.
"I don't know Aviana, we just finished school shouldn't you know we take time off and relax?" Aviana playfully slapped Remy in the stomach and pouted "If we go and do that you're going to get fat. We need to do Tai Chi daily, practice our sparring, and don't forget our yoga." Remington smirked and shook his head "Jeez, Avi all you left out was travel the world and live out of backpacks." Aviana giggled as she pulled her bag onto her shoulder more "Well we have to find a new use for them now." Remy chuckled and shook his head frantically now "I was joking, why must you take everything so seriously?" Just in that moment some hollering erupted in the echoed hallway, the school jock Dmitri Overstreet was being worshipped by his buddies. Dmitri played the jock card very well, football predominantly but played basketball when he couldn't play football. His shoulders always bulged out from his muscular build. And due to Dmitri being in sports he always had his dark brown hair shaved down. "Man you are set for college, how many scholarships did you get anyways?!" Dmitri grinned as he tossed a fist towards his friend's arm. "Only like 5, you act surprised." Although he had bragging rights he would sometimes let it go to his head.
He locked onto Remy and Aviana and a serious look came across his features as he walked over to the pair. "Not like these two, sorry but you're not going to get scholarships for splashing in water or flipping on bars." Aviana snarled playfully and giggled like she normally did. "Well jokes on you big guy we don't want to go to college anyways." Dmitri bit his lip and wiped his forehead sarcastically "That's even worse than trying to get a scholarship, if you're not going to college what do you plan to do? Use your talent of flipping, and flip some burgers down at the grill?" Remy placed his hand on Aviana's shoulder and sighed "Just give it up it's pointless with him." Remington had always struggled with Dmitri but he was probably the one person that knew about him.
His parents forced him to be so proactive in sports because they wanted him to have a future. One they didn't have, but it was almost too much. Dmitri could never just be himself, and that is why he had the rugged exterior. He really was a good person, when he wanted to be. "Our future doesn't concern you, so just go back to your mate and don't ruin the celebration. We just graduated and there is no reason to keep up this facade of being the head honcho of Angel Grove High." Remy spat out. "You're right we are all going our separate ways now, no more studying Chapter Three or five page essays. I'm sorry." Dmitri sighed out as he rubbed the back of his head. Half of the time he was only acting that way because he didn't want to disappoint his friends and he knew full well Remy was the one to remind him of that.
They had at one point and time been neighbors and that was the reason he knew so much about Dmitri. The fellow jock realized he had somewhere else he had to be at so he told his friend farewell and practically ran out the doors of the high school. The now silent hallway filled once again with small talk which made the trio look up to see who it was. A pair of blondes were chatting at the lockers as the male continued pulling out electronics out of his locker. "Now where am I going to put all of this stuff at?" He frustratedly exclaimed. His name was Matthias York and he was known for being incredibly smart. He was the captain of the Robotics Club, scoring the highest marks in the Computers class and so forth. Although he had the mind of a nerd he had the body of a Greek God, having mid neck length golden hair which only brought out his piercing ocean blue eyes. Probably the real reason why he wasn't bullied. He seemed to fit in with the jocks, which was quite strange. As for the other blonde it was the fairly new transfer student, Celeste Kincaid. No one knew much about her seeing it had only been a couple weeks since her and her family moved to Angel Grove. Celeste donned the same build as Aviana, only just a little taller than her.
"I swear you and your rhetorical questions are going to drive me mad." She sighed out. Celeste was the shy and quiet type but she did talk to Matthias only due to the fact that their lockers were right next to each other. "Oh c'mon Celeste if I don't ask myself these questions who will?" Matthias winked at her as he spoke. She returned the gesture by rolling her eyes and shutting her locker. "Well either way, having a locker next to you has been…. Something alright."
The blonde duo began walking down the hall as Matthias shuffled his gadgets in his arms. They stopped as they walked up to the group and a grin sprung across their faces. "Hey Remington! Aviana!" Matthias rang out. They may not have been the closest of friends but whenever Matthias was around Remy, Aviana started giggling as if she knew something that Remy didn't know. "C'mon Matthias I told you to call me Remy I don't know how many times." Matthias grinned and rubbed the back of his head "Yeah I know but your full name is pretty awesome. At least has a nice ring to it." Remy wrinkled his nose and switched his attention over to the other female and greeted her politely. "So what about you two any plans for college or anything?" Back in the Command Center stood a gleeful Alpha Z as he had the five teenagers up on the screen. "A little dull but I'm sure they're not always like that but I see potential. Gotcha!" Alpha beat in the buttons on the panels once again and at Angel Grove High the five graduated seniors sparked into a teleporting stream and beamed instantly to Alpha's location. They all fell onto the floor and each individually let out a grunt.
"That never gets old hehehe." Alpha chuckled, sending the kids into a panic, jumping up onto their feets within a flash. "Who are you?!" shouted Dmitri pulling the macho fit again. "Why I am Alpha Z silly. That doesn't matter, I don't have much time. We don't have much time." Remy gave over a puzzled look at the others and stepped up beside Dmitri. "Time? Time for what?" Alpha shook his head and began a little pace. "We don't have much time before Earth is attacked again, remember when. Well let's see it would have been when you were children but you must remember the Power Rangers and how they saved this planet." Matthias grinned widely and ecstatically exclaimed "Yeah the Power Rangers! I remember!" All of the teenagers nodded except for Celeste being she wasn't a long time resident to Angel Grove. "Power Rangers? Who are they?"
Before any of them could speak Remy looked over at the blonde and answered her question. "They were people just like us given powers to fight off aliens or evil weirdos. They protected us." Matthias shrugged with a grin more disappointed that he wasn't the one who got to answer the question "Yeah that's what I was going to say." He said in a jokingly manner. "Oh so that is why Angel Grove is so famous, I was starting to wonder why people acted a certain way when it came to alien stuff. Mostly at the movie store." Celeste said very as a matter of factly. "Ai Ai Yie we don't have time for this, someone very bad is showing up and I need a new team of Rangers." Alpha cried out. "A new team, what happened to the last Rangers?" Puzzled out Aviana as she thought they were still around just busy elsewhere. "The last Rangers have been enjoying retirement but have set aside powers to form a new set of Rangers perhaps stronger than they even were." Remy began piecing up the problem and looked around at his friends. "And we're supposed to be those Rangers?" Alpha's face zapped with excitement and flapped his hands "Yes yes! I picked you out as I did the first set of Rangers. Oh those were the good old days." Dmitri shook his head and scoffed "You can't expect me to believe that you want us to be Power Rangers, it is just too odd. I'm about to go to college and start my life off. Do you know what I mean? I am not someone who just gets up and decides to save the world."
Remy walked up to Dmitri and got his attention "Hey man, just hear him out, if he thinks we could even potentially be Rangers then my interest is piqued. Do you know what it means to be a Power Ranger? Saving the world, Earth. That is much more rewarding than throwing a touchdown. Maybe this is what we were meant to do." Aviana clapped in her bubbly manner and nodded "Yeah c'mon Dmitri, he's right you know. Besides it could be fun." Aviana walked over to Matthias and Celeste hurriedly and tilted her head sideways. "What do you guys think?" Matthias gave a thumbs up and looked over at Remy. "Well I wasn't on board until Remy gave us the rally speech. Now I feel inspired, if it's for real I'm on board." Celeste avoided eye contact with Aviana at first until the brunette was at her face literally trying to get her attention. "Celeste what do you think? I mean could you imagine us being Power Rangers?" The blonde looked up with a troubled look. "I didn't even know what Power Rangers were and I still don't have the foggiest idea what it takes to make a good one."
Aviana giggled as she patted the blonde's back "Oh that's all right we could show you, we will all be learning as we go." Celeste shrugged her shoulders and gave a nervous nod "Alright I'm in." Alpha ran up to the panels and zipped his digits across them "Alright if that is the case I will send you over to initiation. Unlike all previous Rangers I am letting you all access the Morphing Grid yourselves and decide what your Ranger form will be like." Remy stepped up next to Alpha and looked around at what he was doing. "What do you mean?" Alpha hurried Remy back to where he was standing earlier "No time for explanations now, you will all see what I mean. I have to figure out how much time we have. Off you go Rangers." And with the final push of a button the newly formed Power Rangers zapped over and into a different section of the Command Center. "Send Andros a transmission, I found them Andros! I found the Infinity Rangers!" Remy awoke in a dark room, apparently by himself. "Guys? Where are you?" He stepped forward and lights erupted from all around him. He shielded his eyes as a screen shot across the adjacent wall. "Welcome Rangers." A mechanical voice exclaimed. Within five rooms connected with one another the teenagers heard and saw the same screen. "Access to the Morphing Grid. Granted. Designing Infinity Rangers now beginning." The screen lit up blueprints of the said Infinity Rangers.
The group of friends stood in awe as the screen flashed over to the image of a suit with their names sprawled over it. "Due to the lack of time, Alpha Z has given you permission to create everything about Ranger selves. Your color, your weapon and even your Zords. Because most of the previous Rangers' Zords were destroyed I ask you to give me an animal you would wish to represent yourself. But let's start with the basics, your color. On your screen you will see five colors. If you're fast enough you will be able to be the desired color. But if your fellow Ranger picks it before you, you will have to pick a second choice. Decide now." The five colors zapped vertically on the screen, from left to right as followed. Black, Yellow, Pink, Red, Blue. The teenagers hurried over to the electronic image and as if it was destiny they each picked a different color making the decisions final. Matthias chose black, Aviana poked the Yellow Column. Remy rushed over to land his finger on the Pink section, it always being his favorite color. Dmitri couldn't help but pick Red seeing it was their High School's team color. And finally Celeste had decided Blue was best for her.
Each individual's room lit up with their decided color before the voice boomed back over the computer. "Excellent now for Weapons, go up to your screen and very clearly say your choice. If you would like a different name for it please remember you are known as the Infinity Rangers so in order to call them they have to be stated by Infinity then the name. Please begin now."
Remy sighed as he thought on this important decision, he had been trained in two types of weapons thanks to Aviana but he knew deep in his heart which was better for him. "Chakrams, but I want to call them Infinity Discs if that is alright." The screen lit up and by Remy's name an image of a Chakrams appeared. "Approved." Blasted through the colored rooms in that soothing robotic voice. "Oh look at that Remy decided then." Aviana gleed out. "Time for me, mine is easy. Shield. Called Infinity Blocker." Instantaneously a shield icon formed next to the girl's name." Matthias was next and this once was an easy decision. "Knuckles, Infinity Smashers." Dmitri was next in "Swords, Infinity Sabers." Finally Celeste was the remaining Ranger to decide what she wanted to fight with. "I guess that would work, Mace. Infinity Crusher." The rooms pulsated colored light now, they were almost finished on becoming a Power Ranger.
The mechanicals of the blank room sizzled and popped with excitement as there were only a few more choices to go through. This process as Alpha said wasn't taking that long as they didn't have that much time left. "Now initiating Zord blueprints." Boomed through the room as all five of the Rangers walked up to the touch screen once more. "Now, speaking clearly decides on the animal you would like your Zords to be based off of. Now once you make your decision it cannot be changed. It will have to be definite." The monotone voice instructed them clearly as they were sent to work.
Remington walked to the screen and instantly wanted his favorite animal if it were possible, and with a soft clear whisper exclaimed out "Flying Squirrel." Within the other rooms the other Rangers decided upon theirs. "Ranger Initiation is complete, The Infinity Rangers are now complete." The robotic voice proudly boasted as the doors flew open. Alpha Z hurriedly ran to the rangers and let out his motto. "Rangers you have done a great job, you have made me so proud." This being the first time it was all on Alpha he had been very nervous, almost sending him into circuit failure. "Now may I introduce your new ranger identities to one another. You all know each other as boring High School students but now I have new identities to introduce you to."
"Remington please step forward." Remy was already nervous but being a typical leader figure he nodded over at his pal Aviana and stepped forward as Alpha had asked of him. "Picking the Pink color. He shall be the Pink Flying Squirrel Ranger. With his Infinity Discs he will lead the team with valor and precision." Remy shook his head and said with an astounded tone "Wait you want me to be the leader?" Alpha's eyes flickered with a glow and let out a chuckle " Yes of course this was decided before you even entered this Command Center, out of everyone I have decided this would benefit the team seeing you are the most level headed and focused. Don't worry you'll do a fine job, I have faith in you."
On the main screen in the Command Center behind Alpha a flying squirrel appeared on the screen and before their eyes it flashed into a mechanical being and zipped around the air freely. "Your zord shall never fail you and the fact that you picked it out yourself you should feel a kinship to it." Alpha walked over and put a hand on Remy's shoulder and pranced happily "Alright that is enough for you for now, onto Aviana."
Aviana walked forward as Remy did moments before her and went through the same process "Oh my, you have chosen the Yellow Hyena to be your guide. Equipped with a Power Blocker, you shall be a great source of defense and offense for your fellow teammates, protect them with all you can and they will surely be led to victory." Aviana grinned as she looked over as the other rangers went through the process. Dmitri picked Red Kangaroo and wields Infinity Blades, Matthias picked Black Crocodile and chose Infinity Smashers, which were knuckles. Celeste slowly walked up and chose Blue Elephant equipped with an Infinity Crusher which took on the shape of a mace.
One after another their zords mechanized on the screen and it matched whichever color that they picked out. "See that wasn't too difficult, so now as your zords are being created, now it is the time to show you how to get suited up. But before we do that is there anyone that wants out? We can't deal with someone derangering themselves past this point. If you want to be a ranger then stay put but if not then speak up now."
Alpha looked around the room and as each ranger looked around at each other they all gave in and sent a nod in the robot's direction. "Alright then I shall take that as a yes from each of you." Alpha pressed a button on the panel and as he did five handheld electronics raised above the counter. "These are your morphers, they are what will allow you to connect into the morphing grid. Allow you to fight the evils that are now going to invade this planet." Dmitri couldn't hold in his banter and curiosity anymore "You keep talking about this evil but you haven't told us anything about it."
The other rangers nodded as they were all curious, would they even be able to take on this immense sense of evil. "I'm sorry Dmitri but I unfortunately don't know much about it or who it even is. All our sensors have been able to pick up is that it's an evil no other ranger has ever had to come across. Which is why we have put all of the power we could into you guys. You are our last hope."
As Alpha continued to explain and Red and Yellow flashed zipped down in front of them and when the blur disappeared two hooded figures stepped out. "Alpha I see you have done what you were built for. You have found the next set of rangers." A female voice came from the other hooded figure "I knew you could do it Alpha, I know Zordon would have been proud of you." They flipped over their hoods and revealed themselves to the rangers. "Andros! Ashley! You're here!" Alpha exclaimed as he went over and flung his mechanical arms around them. "Yes we are here Alpha, we were discussing the fact on how lost we were when we were first picked to be rangers and thought we could offer our help and advise." Andros said in a calm tone as he walked to the rangers tossing aside his robe. Aviana walked up to the yellow flash and grinned as the voice seemed familiar "Ashley?! You were a power ranger?!" Ashley with a skip ran over to Aviana and chuckled "Yes I was, little Aviana, it has been so long since I have seen you." Aviana was once babysitted by Ashley while she herself held the title of Yellow Space Ranger.
"I see you even picked my color, I guess I left more of an impression on you than I thought." Ashley jokingly said. Aviana nodded as she took her place back by her friends. Andros walked up to the screen and picked up all of the morphers handing them out to the determined color. "So Remington is going to be your leader?" Andros said with a puzzling tone. "Wow that is a change, Cassie would love the fact the Pink Ranger is going to be the leader. It's so nice to see that, it is usually always the Red Ranger that leads the teams." Ashley said as she stuck her tongue out at her former Red leader. Remy looked up and nodded as his morpher was handed to him "That is what Alpha said, that it was determined before we were sent here."
Andros nodded and exclaimed "If there is one thing I can say is to never doubt the Morphing Grid or Alpha. You were all chosen for a reason and the decisions made today are definite." Andros took his place next to Ashley and grinned "Now with your morphers, they are probably the most important device you will carry as a ranger. Don't lose track of them, without your morpher you have no connection to your ranger power. They are what make you Power Rangers and that after all is why you need to take care of them. Now in order to morph you need to hold the morpher in your hands and hold them up like this." Andros held his hand straight up in the air and quickly looked over at Alpha.
"Now has the morphing sequence been set up?" Alpha nodded and motioned towards the rangers "Yes Andros everything is ready for them, all they have to do is say your color ranger power. It was like the original rangers. Instead of saying your animals that is all that is needed to activate the Power Grid. And then because they all picked their animals they have to finish the morphing sequence with their colors." Andros shook his head and nudged Remy "Alright you heard him, let's morph."
Remington nodded and looked over at his friends as he noticed they all had their morphers up like they were instructed. It was obvious that they all wanted to morph for the first time. The one for sure definite way to know that they really were Power Rangers. "Alright are you guys ready? Let's do this." They flicked their morphers up and all in unison said their cues. The rangers went one by one shouting out their colors and within sheer moments they were suited up in their desired colors. Until they were all standing in full armor "Wow this feels amazing!" Matthias exclaimed with excitement. His black suit glistened as if it was made from diamonds. These suits were made of the hardest armor, the metallic colors created the diamond like shine. Their helmets like all the other rangers before them represented the animals they picked out. Remy's had rounded ears embedded on top of the helmet. The nose pushed out and shaped like the animal itself would have been. The rest of the features like the ears were embedded. Avianna's helmet had pointed ears with teeth around the eye visor as a hyena should. This was similar to Matthias, the only major difference was how the helmet was designed to match a crocodile. Dmitri's the same with ears and features for a kangaroo. Celeste's however would bring Alpha back memories having tusks on the cheekbones just like the original black ranger's was.
Where the suits weren't their ranger color it was shaded in with black, in Matthias case being the black ranger his was shaded in with white. And just at the seams lined with a faint dazzling line of gold. In their morphers now their power coin resided at their waist line while they were morphed.
Andros smirked as he started recalling the glory days, "You guys have done it, you are now full fledged Power Rangers. I wish it was us that could be saving the world again but as you see we have gotten older as time continuously passes us by. We couldn't be supported by the new powers you all possess. It would do us more harm than good." Ashley nodded in agreement as she also faced the difficult fact that she could no longer become the Yellow Space Ranger. "But that doesn't mean that we can't help all of you guys'." Ashley chimed out gleefully. The Infinity Rangers were still in awe with their suits and if it wasn't for Remington they would have completely ignored the former Rangers. "Of course we would accept your help, I am sure we will need it."
Alpha nodded as he noticed the Rangers were still morphed " Ai yi yi I forgot to tell you how to revert. Just say Power Down." Within moments the Rangers flashed out of their suits and adorned the appearance they had before they morphed.
"That was brilliant!" Exclaimed Aviana
"It was like we were strong for once!" Rebutted Matthias
Celeste looked down at her hands and grinned widely "That was definitely different."
Dmitri crossed his arms and of course with the jock macho vibe "I didn't feel much of a difference."
Remy crossed his eyes as he caught a faint whisper between Andros and Ashley. 'I am beginning to understand why the Red ranger isn't the leader this time." With a bit of a grin he looked over at Alpha "So what do we do next?" Alpha looked back at the screen and noticed the Zords were still being fashioned. "I think we just wait for right now, after all the next step is to see your zords you picked out."
Ashley and Andros interlocked hands and grinned as they stepped on the Teleportation Pad "I wish we could have picked out our own Zords." Andros smirked as he usually did at Ashley's antics. "We shall be taking our leave now Alpha, Rangers. We shall be just a phone call away if you need anything." Alpha nodded as he walked over and hugged his very close friends. "Of course please don't be strangers, KO-35 isn't that far away." Ashley chuckled and nodded "We will don't worry Alpha besides I know you will have your hands full with a new set of Rangers."
The Space Rangers waved their goodbyes and zipped away in the familiar colors they used to wear "It's so nice seeing my old friends." Alpha wept out. "But you all will be my new friends so I am not that glum." Alpha shrieked out when the Control Panel beeped out claiming the zords have been fully built. "Now is the time Rangers, let's go see your creations!"
Alpha grabbed ahold of Remy and Aviana's hands and dragged the Rangers outside of the Command Center. Behind the towering Center was a cliff and within that cliff was the sounds of animals, not just animals. Their animals. "I introduce you to the Infinity Zords. Step forward as you become aligned with them." Remington being the leader or so he had been told stepped up first. "Remy! You have chosen the Flying Squirrel. Breaking the norm and becoming a master of the air and the land. You two shall become great partners!"
Remy smiled wide as the Squirrel Zord squealed loudly as it took off into the air spreading its marsupial wings. Although it was much smaller than the rest of the zords it was perfect for Remy. The majority of it being the bright pink that he adorned on his ranger suit, the rest shaded with white.
"Aviana please step forward."
As Alpha instructed her to she gleefully skipped forward, the canyon filled with a mechanized laughter that threw everyone off except for Remy.
"You have chosen a Yellow Hyena Zord. Focused, Tenacious, Deadly. But at least you have a sense of humor." Alpha giggled as he finished his sentence. "Your Zord can send out sound waves with its laugh. To the point where it can even cause earthquakes. I know you will shock us with the potential you will have with this Zord."
Aviana clapped and giggled herself as she looked down at her Zord "Oh it is so adorable!" The yellow Hyena Zord was a bright yellow with a grey metallic shading. The other color was a shining white coming off of the Zord's teeth.
Alpha looked around and decided to call upon Matthias next. "Matthias please step forward."
The blonde stepped in the correct manner and grinned as he looked back at his friends. "Yeah bet you can't wait to see what I picked out, it is going to be a beast!"
"You have chosen to wield the Black Crocodile Zord. Intelligent, Calculated, Fierce. You can destroy any source of evil with your Zord's jaw power." The black robotic hopped on its back legs and let out an ominous roar. It even made Aviana jump in the air, his Zord was like Aviana's shaded with the metallic grey except for the teeth.
"Next. Dmitri. It is now your turn to show your fellow rangers what Zord you shall be driving."
A kangaroo jumped forward throwing punches left and right at the speed of light. The Zord was a sleek apple red, being shaded with a darker red metal. "As you see Dmitri picked the Kangaroo, blindingly fast, always quick on its feet. Nothing can get past its right and left hook."
Dmitri grinned and looked over at Remy and Aviana "Least I know Matty and I picked good animals."
Alpha's circuits flashed red and he stomped his feet. "Dmitri! There is nothing wrong with the Zords Remington and Aviana picked out. Just because they are different from yours doesn't mean that they are less useful. You need to work on that attitude, now that we are the subject. I don't know who you were before you became a Ranger but now that you are you need to realize that the people behind you are your teammates, your companions. You will be looking after one another as if you all were family. There is no room for that kind of behavior as a Ranger."
Dmitri was almost stunned that Alpha stepped up and put him in his place. It was something he wasn't used to. "I know I know, I'm sorry." Dmitri was so used to the charade he put on for high school he almost forgot the real Dmitri. Aviana was shocked that he apologized so she let out a wide grin.
Alpha looked over at Celeste and tapped his head. "See now since that outburst you interrupted Celeste's Zord. You had better apologize to her and not me." Within seconds the jockish figure did as he was told and apologized to the young blonde. "It's okay Dmitri, I am either way still excited to see what my zord looks like."
The ground shook, almost bouncing the Rangers off of their feet. A loud cry erupted in the canyon and Celeste threw her hands up in the air. "Oh it's magnificent!" An image of a large Blue Elephant came into sight. Like the rest of the Zords shaded with the blinding grey metal and white tusks protruded out of the front of the Elephant Zord.
Alpha gleefully exclaimed "You have chosen the Blue Elephant Zord! Amazing strength, Forceful power with every step! You will be very well protected with this zord with you. Great choices Rangers! Now step to the cliff and attune to your Zords, once attuned the Zords will heed your every whim becoming like your companion Rangers, family.
All the Rangers stepped to the cliff and faced their zords, a bright light came over them of course in their Ranger colors. And instantly the Rangers felt a difference as if they were complete now. As if there was a part of them missing that had now been filled. "Wow this is all unbelievable." Each ranger exerted as they became attached to their zords. As the rangers were discovering their new zords Master Galix and Magnus had finally landed ironically on the moon. Like Rita and Lord Zedd figured it was the best place to get a lookout on Earth. The original Moon Palace stood strong after Lord Zedd magicked his alterations. It had been unkempt since Zordon reverted the villains, no villain had been here in years. Master Galix walked into the observation deck where he examined Lord Zedd's throne under the piles of spiderwebs. "Shame that it didn't pan out for them, this is what you call a charming locale." The hooded figure beckoned out to his lackey, his red eyes lighting the outer seam of his hood. "Magnus this is it, bring in my Cauldron I have much to look into. I have much to do." Magnus hurried in the heavy artifact and placed it in the middle of the room directly in front of Zedd's spinning throne. Master Galix waved his hand and the top of his sceptre over the Cauldron and instantly saw the images of the Rangers with their Zords. "So we are already too late. The Rangers have indeed returned and now it is my time to make my move."
