This is my first Miraculous story I have written so if it isn't as good let me know. Onto the story

Full Summary

(Two kingdoms at war, the Kingdom of Miraculous is at war with the Kingdom of Moths. Both are fighting over two legendary objects. One is fighting to protect the objects the other is to try to gain the objects. The two Kingdoms are in France, legend has it that the people who owned the two objects were the protectors of France and brought them out of war long ago. Will the two new holders of the objects bring peace again or will they bring ruin?)

"Marinette, are you ready?" Tom Dupain-Chang asked, yelling up the stairs to his 7 year old daughter.

"Yes, coming Papa." Marinette yelled running down the stairs wearing the clothes her father bought her for the occasion.

"Marinette, we must leave now. Or else we will be late and you won't be able to become a squire." Tom said as he pushed her towards the door.

"But I haven't eaten yet Papa." Marinette said, partially whining.

"Well if you hurry out the door, the I will grab you one of your mother's bakery treats." Tom said as he watched the young girl's eyes light up, before she ran out the door. Tom then turned around and hurried to grab a croissant from the bakery side of the house, placing a kiss on Sabine's forehead as he hurried out of the bakery part of the house.

"Here eat this." Tom said as he reached Marinette, who gladly took the croissant and started eating it.

While she was eating her croissant Tom went and untied the horse from it's post and walked the horse over to Marinette. As soon as she had finished her croissant Tom lifted her up onto the horse, and hopped on right behind her grabbing the reigns in the process. Tom then snapped the reigns and the horse started to gallop, luckily for Tom and Marinette they lived not too far from the Castle so that made up for them leaving a little bit late.

"Marinette go into the doors and wait right there, there will be other potential squires waiting there as well. Just stand there and try to make a friend or two, but when t starts you need to not talk." Tom said, worrying about his daughter knowing that he can't take her as his own squire.

So Marinette walked inside the castle doors and stood there with the rest of the potential squires. One of which caught her eye, because he was a blonde boy with emerald green eyes. She looked at him for a moment before realizing he said hi to her.

"Oh hi, so what's your name?" Marinette asked curiously.

"My name's Adrien, what's yours?" Adrien asked with a slight bow.

"My name is Marinette, nice to meet you Adrien." Marinette said with a slight curtsy.

"Nice to meet you too." Adrien said smiling, hoping that he saw her more than this little greeting.

Marinette was about to ask Adrien a question, but was cut off by the sounds of trumpets playing inside the room. All of the potential squires looked over to where the trumpets were playing and saw the knights walk into the room. Once all of the knights were in the room, the trumpets sounded off once more and then they stopped.

"Potential Squires, here are the knights of this kingdom that are choosing squires. Sir Dupain-Chang, Sir Damocles, Sir D'Argencourt, and Supreme Knight Fu he is the head of the Knight Order in this kingdom. He will now say a few words to you." The Harold said, before stepping back.

"Thank you," Supreme Knight Fu said, "It is wonderful to see so many upcoming squires here. My knight rank is Supreme Knight, but I will tell you all the same thing I told the last bunch of squires from last year. You all can call me Master Fu if you wish, because it is easier to say than my knight title." Master Fu said, before stepping back to let the Harold continue announcing.

"Each of these Knights have been given all of your names, so they can evaluate which of you would be the best fit for what they are the most skilled with. Some of you might have the qualities that they are looking for, others might not have those qualities but each knight will explain why they choose you once all of you are chosen" The Harold said before continuing, "Now Sir Dupain-Chang will choose his squire(s)." The Harold said before stepping back again.

"The squires I will take is Nino Lahiffe, and Luka Couffaine." Tom Dupain-Chang said before the two boys walked up to him, and Nino, and Luka walked to the side.

"Next Sir Damocles will choose his squire(s)." The Harold said not bothering to move forward.

"My squire will be Ivan Bruel." Sir Damocles said, before walking to the side with Ivan in tow.

"Next Sir D'Argencourt will choose his squire(s)" The Harold said.

"I choose Kagami Tsurugi, and Alya Cesaire as my squires." Sir D'Argencourt said before walking off, with Alya and Kagami going to stand near him.

"Now last but certainly not least Supreme Knight Fu will choose his squire(s)" The Harold said, ignoring the request to call him Master Fu.

"I choose Marinette Dupain-Chang, and Adrien for my squires. Thank you all for coming out here today to see if you would be squires or not, for those of you who weren't chosen I thank you for coming out here." Master Fu said, before walking to stand near the other knights.

Adrien, and Marinette looked at each other and just hurried over to stand near Master Fu. After they had arrived near Master Fu, the Harold announced that the choosing for squires was over, and for anyone that wasn't chosen to be a squire to go home. The other kids started to walk outside the door, some looked happy that they weren't going to be knights. While others looked devastated that they wouldn't be knights. As soon as the other kids had left, the knights all led their squires in different directions so they can talk privately. As Marinette and Adrien walked together behind Master Fu they heard him ask them a question which left them both confused.

"What do you two think makes a good knight?" Master Fu asked as they turned a corner.

"Umm, is this a trick question?" Adrien asked confused.

"Is it that they always follow the Code of Chivalry?" Marinette asked, trying to remember what her father had taught her about this subject.

"Adrien is correct, but Marinette you are correct as well. Do either of you know why that is?" Master Fu asked as he stopped walking, so he could look at both of them as he asked questions.

"Umm, no." Marinette and Adrien said at the same time, confusion clear in their voices.

"It is because everyone knows that a knight is supposed to follow the Code of Chivalry, so it is a trick question because everyone knows that. So both of you were correct to an extent, but be warned some knights don't always follow the Code of Chivalry so you must follow the Code always to set the example for those who might not." Master Fu said explaining.

"That makes sense. And you can count on us to always follow the Code, Master Fu" Marinette said enthusiastically.

"Yea Master Fu, we will keep each other in line with the Code." Adrien said agreeing with Marinette.

"Good, now I expect you two want to know why I choose both of you?" Master Fu said with a smirk, because he knew the answer to that and that they would keep their word to keeping each other in line.

"YES!" Both Adrien and Marinette said with an equal amount of energy.

"I choose both of you because of..."
