Infinity Power Rangers

Years past since the world needed a team of Rangers. Previous Rangers were finally able to retire but as the world faces a new form of evil, a newly upgraded Alpha Z forms together a new team. A team who unlike other Rangers were able to decide their own color, their own Zord, and their own weapons. The Rangers must come together and believe in the power to conquer Master Galix.

2. The Knasty Master of All Evil

Up on the surface of the moon, the Palace that once held two of Angel Grove's most known villains now resided Master Galix. The exterior may have remained the same since Lord Zedd and Rita living there, the interior however was much different. Instead of the walls seeming so polished the walls almost seemed to be falling apart. Spiderwebs somehow always resided here but now draped over Lord Zedd's science equipment now bubbling to life. Beakers rolling over a colored fog, as liquid zipped through the tubes. Master Galix hunched over his prized Cauldron thinking of what his first move should be. Magnus walked in and tossed his horned forehead to the side "What ever is the matter Master?" The hooded sorcerer gazed down with his luminescent red eyes "Magnus, I think I have unveiled the reason for evil's downfall here on Earth. Where Lord Zedd and Rita were drawing from my power, they couldn't create full powered creatures where I can. I shall restore monsters of the past and give them the power they needed to overcome the Rangers." Magnus nodded in excitement as he usually did when his Master came up with a plan. "It's time I make my presence known to the Rangers." Master Galix said in an ominous tone as he overlooked the balcony with direct eyes on the blue planet.

Back on Earth, the Rangers were in the underground portion of the Command Center, practicing their hand to hand combat. Alpha had instructed them to train, that the previous Rangers would train in their free time after becoming a Power Ranger. Remy and Aviana were doing their normal sparring as Matthias watched them. The blonde male had been fighting holograms with Dmitri before finding his spot on the ground. Celeste after doing some stretches, taking his place occupying the jock. As Remy stepped forward his fingers were firmly stuck together creating an open palm, this was the normal way Aviana and he normally sparred. As the pair dashed and stepped towards one another the brunette giggled, softly looking Remy in the eyes quietly exclaiming "You know he hasn't taken his eyes off of you." Remy smirked as he advanced on his best friend "Yes I am actually aware of that, and I quite like it frankly." Celeste was suddenly shoved down by one of the holograms but before she could hit the ground Dmitri rushed down and grabbed her, kicking the hologram backwards. Dmitri smirked down at Celeste before making his usual comments. "Is this going to become a habit Ms. Blue Ranger?" Celeste seemed to be enjoying the moment before snapping to reality pushing off Dmitri "You wish, you just got lucky this time." All the Rangers seemed to co-exist as a team quite nicely, most of the members already being friends with one another. No, of course each member would have to establish better bonds with certain individuals but that would come with time under their belts.

Alpha Z who was looking over the control panels doing various investigations on the evil surge was interrupted by a transmission. "I wonder who would be sending us a transmission." Questioned the charismatic robot as he patched the signal through. Once seeing the image of Lord Zedd and Rita's Moon Palace he pressed the alarm signaling the Rangers. Alpha Z looked at the hooded figure sitting where Lord Zedd used to, back in the days. "So you are the one setting off the alarms, who are you?" Alpha demanded.

Remy looked up and saw the red flashes meaning the silent alarm was triggered. Once he came to a halt Aviana must not have seen his reaction due to jabbing him the jaw lightly with her open palm. "Remy?! I'm sorry. Why did you just stop?" Aviana rang out in her usual bubbly tone. Matthias now walking up to the pair also wanting to know why the sparring match abruptly ended. The blonde male walked up and gently placed his index finger around Remy's chin so he could see if his jaw was okay. "Well it doesn't look like it's going to bruise, so I think you are going to make it." The notion was more than a distraction to Remy but his inner senses kicking in "Guys Alpha needs us, c'mon we have to hurry it might be important." Remington took off in a quick jog towards the control room and instantly heard the hurried footsteps behind him of the rest of the team.

As the doors zinged to life the Rangers walked next to their robotic friend and mentor. Hearing the conversation as they shuffled in. "I don't speak to piles of screws and metal, I will only speak to the Power Rangers." Master Galix voiced creaked out. Remy crinkled his face in a displeasing way before replying to the unknown figure of evil. "Well here we are! What can we help you with?" Matthias directly behind him breaking out in a grin from Remy's sense of sarcasm. Master Galix's eyes flashed red as Remy addressed him, looking directly at him. "So, you must be the leader having such confidence. One who leads, must lead with an iron fist. I admire that, but listen well." The villain tightly gripping his scepter, the top of it illuminating as he leaned forward. "My name is Master Galix, and as your robot processes that information he will soon realize no one has any information on my identity."

Alpha Z's eyes flickered with schematics and stockpiles of database from the Morphing Grid and nodded with agreement before telling Remy "He's right I have nothing on a Master Galix." As being said the villain chuckled with excitement "As I said, but allow me to fill in the blanks. Every villain any Power Ranger has faced." He spat out with a now angry tone. "Has gotten their power from me and I alone. Lord Zedd, Rita, even Dark Specter. Although they themselves had no knowledge it is the facts." Alpha Z panicked once hearing this, of course this was bad news but knowing the villains of the past. And this one claimed to be stronger than all of them, the android thrown off by the next event to happen. Remy straightened his posture and softly cleared his throat. "Well be that the case or not, you forgot one thing. We're the Rangers now and it doesn't matter who threatens our planet or not. We will stop you, I hope you know that." Remy was hardly ever this blunt but he took his leadership seriously and wasn't going to have some evil monarch just insult them and get away with it. The villain was acting as if they were just going to sit back and let him get away with anything he desired.

Master Galix laughed even more cynical than before "Oh is that the case Ranger? Well now that we are aware of one another's presence. Let the games begin, we shall see who will crumble and who will be victorious. However this discussion is furthermore ended, that is until you can pass my test. If you can pass then I shall deem you and your team more volatile." Before the transmission could be interrupted Remy looked at Galix and smirked "We don't need to pass anything of yours. We will take down anything you throw at us. You will not win." The villain mumbled out that they would see before cutting the connection. As Remy turned around Matthias' eyes were widened with admiration "Wow you really told him off, it's kind of strange seeing you so aggressive." Remy shook his head with a wide grin "What would you expect me to say? And besides this Master Galix was acting like he was already won before even dealing with us? And if you haven't noticed we are pretty awesome." The blonde male nodded his head and gave Remy a wink "So what are we going to do now?" Dmitri questioning broke Remy's line of focus.

"What we were doing. We need to make sure we are all on the same page in combat, that way when this Master does get any funny ideas we will be ready. C'mon guys, let's take a quick break and then start back up with our weapon training."

Master Galix slammed his fist down on the railing overlooking Earth, his follower Magnus let out a whimper as the sound of the collision rang through the Moon Palace. "S-s-so what are we going to do now Master?" The hooded villain turned around and placed his index finger on his temple before quickly hurrying to his Cauldron. Master Galix waved his arms over the top of the ironed artifact and images of monsters from the past began coming into sight. "We need a monster, one who is completely loyal and will do whatever I say and how I say. A monster who just needed my power to conquer the Rangers." The image of a Knight in blackened armor appeared in the reflection of the Cauldron. "Ah yes, I forgot about this one. As Rita needed a sword to cast the incantation, all I need is my magic. Step back Magnus!" The frightened minion clung to the Master's leg hiding behind the Master's cloak. Master Galix walked up to the Cauldron, hands extended in the air. His fingers zapped to life, strings of lightning plunged into the artifact and as it reacted to his magic he began the spell. "Moon of Ivory, stars of old, candlelight that's spun of gold, Sky of fire, wind of night, bring to me a Knasty Knight." As Master Galix finished up the incantation the liquid inside of the Cauldron boiled to life, the figure began rising out of the iron and with two loud thuds the figure stepped outside of the portal. The clangs of metal rang through as The Knasty Knight shook letting the liquid shake off of him.

The monster groaned as he came to the realization his service was needed once again. "Ah the Knasty Knight." Master Galix croaked. "You have caused destruction on the Rangers for many times past but this time I need you to finally put an end to the race of Power Rangers." He held out his sceptre and fashioned his sword from pure magic. The Knight grabbed ahold of the sword and gave it a few good swings. The same process occurred again but this time fashioned his shield. "Now I realize you didn't possess the powers you needed to succeed last time but now you do. There will be no reasons why you can't end the Rangers this time. Failure is not an option. Now go wreak havoc on Angel Grove once again and don't come back until the Rangers are no more." The Knasty Knight groaned out a sign of acknowledgement before raising his sword and vanishing under a beam of magic. Magnus popped out of his Master's cloak and stammered out his thought that would have better been kept to himself. "What if he can't defeat the Rangers, Master?" Master Galix roared out as he turned around to face his minion "He will defeat the Rangers, there is no other outcome. I will not fail as the others before me did."

The Rangers were back in the training grounds but this time they were all five morphed into their suits and were practicing with their weapons. Dmitri audibly slashed away at the holograms this time, two red swords in each hand. He whipped both hands above his head and swung as hard as he could. The pieces of the holograms falling apart where the blades connected. Matthias adorned his Infinity Smashers, both locked on tightly to both of his fists. As he punched with his hands the pillar of rock he was aiming at crunched down to a pile of rubble. Aviana grabbed ahold of her Infinity Blocker, a yellow shield that was more than just a hand shield. For the Yellow Ranger being so petite it looked as if it would shield most of her body. "Okay Avi get ready." Remy called out sternly. The Pink Ranger flipped sideways tossing out the Infinity Discs, the chakrams zipped through the air as a foggy pink blur. It wasn't until they made contact with Aviana's shield that you could tell they were an object at all with how quickly they were thrown. As they bounced off of the Infinity Blocker they returned back to Remy's hand, out of the corner of his eyes he saw a Light Blue flash making him step to the side as Celeste swung her Infinity Crusher. Remy executed some backflips to space himself out from the girls, taking in a couple deep breaths.

A flash of magic visualized Downtown Angel Grove in the park where the Knasty Knight landed. The cladded armored monster let out a roar as he rose his sword above his head. And like times in the past, onlookers double looked to reassure that they indeed saw a monster running through the park. The Knasty Knight swung his sword at a group of civilians running behind a tree and a few energy blasts erupted from his weapon. A tree limb snapped and landed on the ground with a sudden thump. This had been the first attack the citizens of Angel Grove have had to deal with in quite some time.

The pinkish orange crystal that had still been designed in the Command Center lit up with excitement and blared out the alarm. The familiar sound made Alpha Z jump off of his feet, he panickedly turned around and saw the image of the Knasty Knight wreaking havoc in the park. "Raangers! It's time! It's time!" Alpha exclaimed as he called over the speakers in the training room. Remy held up his hand to get the team's attention, catching one of his Infinity Discs directly afterwards. "Alright guys weapons up and let's go." The Pink Ranger spoke over to Alpha as the rest of the Rangers surrounded the leader after doing as he said and disapperated their weapons. "What do we do Alpha?" The android placed his hands at his would be temple before pushing down on the control panel. "I am locking in the coordinates of where the Knasty Knight is located."

The Red Ranger spoke up as he heard their mentor speak the name of the monster. "Alpha what is the Knasty Knight." Alpha Z being a newly fashioned model of the robot was programmed to have all the events of previous Rangers. He flashed through his database quickly and hurriedly exclaimed "He was a monster that faced the original set of Rangers. I am not sure how this Master Galix was able to create him but was very dangerous. He is a Knight that can create energy blasts from his sword. His shield is very difficult to crack, just be careful Rangers there isn't a moment to lose." And with a few more buttons being pressed the Rangers zipped towards the ceiling in a flash of color, their color.

Once they reached their destination in the park the Rangers stood their ground each acknowledging how crazy their teleportation process was. Remy looked around, trying to key in on the Knight's location. But for an unsettling moment it was bare quiet, all of the civilians had left the immediate area and it was just the Rangers. As the Pink Ranger turned his head to the left a flash of black caught his peripherals. The Yellow Ranger caught this before her best friend could and within a second summoned her weapon out. "Infinity Blocker!" The clang of the Knight's sword hitting the yellow shield was deafening. The other four Rangers jumped back quickly shocked at how sudden this attack was. Aviana jumped back after getting her sense back from the ringing of the collision.

"So you must be Master Galix's test then, well be prepared because we are gonna pass this test." Remy said confidently as he faced the monster "Alright guys let's surround him there is no way he can get around all of us at once." The Knasty Knight growled as the Rangers now walking in a circle around the clank of armor. Once the creature went to dash towards the Blue and Red Ranger they both confidently summoned their weapons on the spot. "Infinity Crusher!" "Infinity Sabers!" Dmitri blocked the Knasty Knight's sword with his own, allowing Celeste to swing her mace like weapon at the monster's side. As the monster groaned as he jumped back and as he turned away realized the Black and Yellow Rangers were jumping in his direction. Aviana grabbed firmly on her Infinity Blocker clanking it against the monster. As Matthias declined down on the monster he swiftly called for his weapons. "Infinity Smashers!" Both of his fists collided against the Knight's chest causing sparks knocking him back.

Remy locked onto the monster and jumped off of the ground with a hard kick and as he reached out his hands he said in an almost battle cry "Infinity Discs!" The pair of pink chakrams appeared in his hands and the Pink Ranger instantly drew back and released them at the Knight. As they hit his shoulders the Knight stepped back a couple times, Remy fell from the air and delivered a hard kick on the creature as he landed. The Knasty Knight groaned as he turned side to side thinking of what it's next move should be. Alpha back at the Command Center was looking through his database of information on the Knasty Knight. Once remembering some details he paged the Rangers "Rangers! I remember why this monster caused the previous Rangers so many problems. The Knasty Knight can damage your weapons if he hits them with his sword. You have to put an end to him before he gets that chance."

Dmitri and Aviana gasped in unison as they both realized they were the only two who actually collided with his blade. "Alpha we are too late on that." Dmitri sighed over the patch to Alpha. His swords now cracked and clearly damaged. Aviana's shield was only cracking where the top of the creature's blade hit it directly in the middle. The Knight groaned as he swung his blade emitting several energy blasts. Aviana dashed in front of Dmitri and Celeste leaving Remy and Matthias on the ends. The Infinity Blocker kept the blasts from hitting the three, sparks flew off of the Pink and Black Ranger sending them flying back. "Are you guys okay?" Questioned Aviana in a concerned tone. Remy made it to his feet and focused his attention on the creature. "Yeah I'm good." Remy voiced in a serious manner. Matthias jumped to his feet and looked over himself. "I don't think I am missing anything so I think I'll make it."

In the depths of space, Master Galix was watching the battle from afar. Knowing that if he would happen to be needed he would have to jump to action at any minute.

Alpha pinged over the Ranger's communication systems again "Rangers, you need to form the Infinity Cannon. Combine your weapons together and you should find the strength to put away the Knasty Knight once again."

Remy nodded as he knew the team and himself was ready for this battle to be ended. "Alright let's do this guys." Aviana stepped up first and tossed her shield up in front of her "Infinity Blocker, ready." Dmitri grabbed a tight grip on his swords and sheathed them into the yellow shield. He bent the Infinity Sabers to mimic handles, where the swords connected at the bottom of the shield twin barrels extended from the Yellow Rangers weapon. This reaction only happened when they formed the Infinity Cannon. "Infinity Sabers, ready." Celeste was next shoving her mace in between the swords, the same reaction occurring. A bigger barrel appeared in the middle of the bottom of the shield. Celeste nodded before speaking out "Infinity Crusher, ready." Matthias was next and as the Infinity Crusher was placed, an opening let itself be known. This would be the main barrel of the Infinity Cannon. Matthias took off the Infinity Smashers and placed them both inside the opening. "Infinity Smashers, ready." This now left Remy to take it home sliding in the Infinity Discs after the Smashers.

Remy aimed the cannon at the Knasty Knight and let Matthias and Dmitri take hold of the Saber handles. "Infinity Cannon lock and loaded, aim and fire!" Remy twisted the Infinity Crusher and soon the weapons roared to life. A faint light now a glow from the inside of the Infinity Blocker, that light traveling to the barrels of the cannon. A beam blasted out of the three barrels hitting the monster directly in the chest. The main opening of the cannon flashed a bright light before zipping out the Infinity Discs and Infinity Smashers out at the enemy. Once the combination was over the Knight fell back cracking the chestplate of his armor barely hanging around. Back in space, Master Galix now fumed that the Rangers were able to get the newly founded Knight of his own magics to this state. Magnus whimpered in the corner of the Moon Palace knowing full well that his Master wasn't very happy. "Well if they want to play it that way, let me make my move now." Galix held his hand out pointed towards the earth and bright strands of lightning zapped towards the Rangers' location. As it hit the ground a seal of magic expanded away from the Knasty Knight and within seconds the blackened Knight was skyscraper height. His feet pounded on the earth making the Rangers stumble on their feet.

Remington looked up at the monster and frantically paged their android mentor "Alpha we need the Zords, what do we call them." Alpha Z couldn't help but let out a chuckle before answering the Pink Ranger "Well that is all you need to do Remy is call them. Reach out and say their names and beckon them to you." Remy nodded looking over at his team seeing if they were as ready as he was. "Let's show this Knight why you don't mess with the Power Rangers. Call your Zords guys!"

Aviana jumped up with excitement throwing her hand in the air "Hyena Zord!" As the previous Rangers, their Zords were hidden from wandering eyes. But they were always hidden somewhere in plain view. Underneath the grassy fields where the Hyena Zord was hidden a roar of mechanical laughing came from the ground. A yellow flash of blur jumping to life out of the brush running to Aviana's location.

Matthias tossed a thumbs up before holding out his hand "Crocodile Zord!" Below the waters bubbled to life the dark Zord blending on the water's surface level. The eyes pinged red as it shot out of the water. Once out of the water hobbling on the land's surface roaring loudly as it proficiently made its way to Matthias' location.

Dmitri held his hand up high and called out to his Zord in a strange enthusiastic tone. "Kangaroo Zord!" From within the greenest of forest came the Kangaroo Zord, the red metal blended into the backgrounds as it bounced side to side swinging blindingly fast punches. The ground jumped and shook as the Kangaroo Zord landed each hop closer to Dmitri.

Celeste was up next tossing her hand up and calling out to her Zord. "Elephant Zord!" Below the sands, parting its way to freedom the eyes pinged to life causing the Elephant Zord to cry out as it stomped it's way through the deserts rushing to the Blue Ranger's call.

Remy held his hand out making a fist "Flying Squirrel Zord!" Atop the tallest of trees in the forest zipped down the Flying Squirrel Zord. It's arms spread as it coasted through the air as its eyes lit up. Squealing in a pleasant robotic way as the pink and white Zord flew over the top of the Rangers.

Once all of their Zords had reached their location, the Rangers jumped into the air getting settled into the cabins of their Zords. Sat behind the eyes of their animals, the control panels flashed to life in front of them. Quickly grabbing a hold of the controls for movement the five Rangers moved harmoniously. Remy zipped through the air looking down at the battle field. "Alright guys let's end this for once, Dmitri give him a bit of the one two." The Pink Ranger once again showing his team that he was panning out to be a good leader. The Kangaroo Zord bounced in place as the Knasty Knight ran towards his vicinity. Dmitri pressed down on his panel and as the Knight stepped towards him the Kangaroo Zord jolted it's fists across the monster's jaw. Left and then right, as the monster fell back. "Avi, Matthias, you got the next bite." The Knasty Knight turned his head in confusement as he looked down at the laughter coming from the yellow Hyena Zord. As he locked focus on Aviana is when he realized the black Crocodile Zord was right there as well growling in a mechanical way at him. As the monster went to take a swing of his sword Matthias jumped from the ground. The Crocodile Zord taking firm grip at the monster arm. The teeth crunched down on the Knight's armor, catching him off guard knocking him to the ground.

Aviana took this as her moment and while laughing engaged the Hyena Zord to jump on the collapsed figure and go for his face. Celeste lined herself to join the fun just as Remy cued her in. "Why don't you flatten that hunk of metal Celeste?" The Blue Ranger chuckled as she grabbed a hold of the controls. "It would be my honor." As Aviana and Matthias pulled back Celeste ran the Elephant Zord straight over the enemy. Once she placed the foot of the Zord on top of the Knasty Knight sparks flew out making the monster groan in displeasure. Celeste took back her original position in a simple turnaround stomping back over the Knight. Aviana let out a giggle like her Zord had been and looked up at the sky as the Knight now getting back to his feet. "Alright finish him off Remy."

Remy nodded as he aimed himself flying straight for the Knasty Knight. Pressing down on several buttons the Flying Squirrel Zord's eyes illuminated before sending laser blasts at the monster. Aiming for the crack in his chest, once the Pink Ranger made it close enough he weaved circles around the monster blasting him several times before flying back up into the air. The Knasty Knight's chest was now steaming as the flow clearly seen from the crack in his armor. With unsteady legs fell to the ground and reached demise as an explosion wiped his existence surely. The Rangers celebrated their victory as they could now say after operating their Zords for the first time as well as taking on their first monster were officially Power Rangers and now knew their purpose.

As the battle was now over, Master Galix slammed his fist on the railing of the Moon Palace much like Lord Zedd did when the Rangers beat him. Magnus fully shaking like a leaf tried not to whimper too much to annoy Galix. "HOW! How could I have been beaten by kids?! However, they may have passed the test this time but now that I know what they are capable of, I won't be taking it easy on them next time at all."

Back at the Command Center, the Rangers fully out of their Power Suits walked over to Alpha Z. Matthias tossed his arm over the robot tapping him on the shoulder "Well how did we do buddy? Did we make you proud?" Aviana clapped her hands together and jumped in place "The Zords are amazing Alpha! My Hyena Zord is so cute and ferocious. I love it." Remy nodded at Alpha with a wide grin "It was all amazing Alpha, thank you for picking us to save the world. It felt so great to stop evil from winning." Alpha shook his head at Remy. "No Rangers, thank you for being Rangers. I could have chosen anyone in the world to be the new set of Rangers but you five were born Rangers. It is something you were meant to do all along, never doubt the power." Alpha turned his attention to Matthias as the lights of his visor flickered. "And I am very proud of all of you Rangers, you did an excellent job and I now know the world will be very much safe."

As the Rangers continued the celebrations Remy sat in thought, waiting for the next time Master Galix sent them a test or a monster. If he could just create monsters out of thin air like that then he knew his team would have their hands full. He also knew though that they would be able to conquer any trial thrown their way. As long as they stuck together and were there for each other as a team.
