So last chapter was a bit short, but I will start writing them longer as the story goes on. So my update schedule will be two chapters a week, one for two different books. Or it will be two chapters for the same book in a week, it will just depend. So now, onto the Story

"The reason I choose both of you is because of your good hearts, and because you both seem to care about helping others." Master Fu said, which got Marinette and Adrien happy because they knew why they were chosen. But it also confused them about how he could know that, but they weren't that good at hiding their reactions.

"Ok, but how would you know that of us?" Adrien asked uncertainly.

"All of us knights went out and watched all of the 7 year old's, on different days randomly. We did that so that we could try to see who we wanted to take as our squires, some of the knights were looking for those who were already chivalrous. Others looking for people who were more like their specialty, like fighting, or not showing fear in the moment. That is how we knew who to choose, and who not to choose." Master Fu said, watching the young seven year old's faces while he was telling them that.

"So practically you guys were watching us to see who was the best fit to be your squires?" Marinette asked.

"Yes, that is the simple way of putting it. Now we must discuss when we are going to train you two to be actual squires, because you might have already been chosen as our squires but you are not going to be doing normal squire duties for a few months." Master Fu said getting confused reactions from Adrien, and Marinette.

"I thought we are supposed to be squires now, why do we have to wait?" Adrien asked.

"Because, what a squire does is help the knights with whatever he needs. But there is a learning and training portion before you can do that, because we need you guys stronger to help with some things that could happen. Now other knights teach their squires this while having them do their normal duties, which extends their time as squires by a year or two. So I am going to teach you the lessons needed before I let you do all of your responsibilities, so that you already know what to do and how to do it before you do it full time." Master Fu said, before turning and walking to a door near them, and opening it. "Come inside, so we can discuss when you will be learning and when you will be training." Master Fu said, ushering the two confused kids inside.

"So, we aren't going to be doing the same thing as the other squires?" Marinette whispered to Adrien, he just shrugged confused as well.

"Let me explain in a better way that you can understand, ok? I will as well explain where you will be living during this time as my squires." Master Fu asked as he sat down across from Adrien, and Marinette.

(6 Months later)

"So you will begin doing your squire duties full time now, Which is unlike how you have been doing it for the last two months, because I have taught you part of the day and the other part of the day was you doing your squire duties." Master Fu said walking into the classroom, that Adrien and Marinette were sitting in.

"So we are doing our duties all hours of the day now Master Fu?" Adrien asked.

"Yes, but don't worry. You won't have to wake up any earlier than you already are, unless we are needed for a battle, then in that case if you are asleep I will call for you two not caring what time it is." Master Fu said.

"So why haven't we been called to battle yet? Or is there already knights out in battle with their squires?" Marinette asked.

"When all of the other squires you know were chosen, it happened on the same day as you two. But there are knights with their older squires out in battles right now, or preparing for battles." Master Fu said, to which Marinette just nodded her head.

"So since you two are now doing your duties full time, we will start traveling as well. Don't worry no battles unless we have to, but we will be traveling to other parts of the land. But for that I need my horse prepared, and other stuff for that trip prepared. We will be leaving in two days, but in that time I need my horse and two extra horses for you two prepared for travel. I will be packing up some stuff in a bag of mine. But you two will need to as well do the other duties you have been doing, which is helping in the kitchen, cleaning my armor and my sword. That is all I need of you two for now, I will call for you if I need something else you two are dismissed." Master Fu said before walking out of the room.

"So, do you want to handle the horses first? Or help in the kitchen first?" Adrien asked, because he knew Marinette didn't like to clean the armor or his sword.

"Let's just get the armor done first, so it is dealt with." Marinette said.

"Ok, M'lady." Adrien said, using his nickname for Marinette to tease her.

"Ok, blonde let's get going so that we can get something done before noon." Marinette said, teasing him back.

As the duo walked out of the room and down the hall they noticed some of their friends standing and talking to each other, so they decide to pop in and say hi.

"Hey Alya, hey Nino." Marinette said, looking at both of them.

"Hey girl, hey Adrien." Alya said giving Marinette a smug look. Which Marinette didn't understand why until, she remembered that she told Alya about her crush on Adrien.

"Hey dude, hey dudette how's it going?" Nino said, being casual with both of them.

"It's going good, although we need to clean our knight's armor before too long." Adrien said.

"Ah, you might want to get to it right away then, because Sir Dupain-Chang is normally a bit frustrated whenever we don't do all of our tasks immediately after he gives us them." Nino said, not realizing that Marinette was his daughter.

"Yea, he does that sometimes. But he normally isn't frustrated, so that means he just wants you to not forget your duties." Marinette said, getting a weird look from Nino.

"And how would you know that? Your not his squire, I am." Nino said with a little bit of a tone in his voice.

"I know that because I'm his daughter, and your not." Marinette said.

"I doubt that, Marinette." Nino said huffing.

"Shall we go and ask him now? Because I know the way to where his quarters are here so we can ask him." Marinette said, almost testing Nino on if he wants to do this.

"Whatever, I will ask him with Luka later." Nino said, not wanting to find out if she was telling the truth immediately.

"Ok, well then we must be going to clean Master Fu's armor." Marinette said before grabbing Adrien's arm and pulling him along.

"What, you are Sir Dupain-Chang's daughter? That is so cool." Adrien said finally realizing what all just happened.

"Yeah, so this whole time of being your partner, while being squires I haven't heard your last name once. Is there a reason for that? Or is it just that you don't want it said out loud?" Marinette asked politely.

"The reason you haven't heard my last name is because I don't even know it." Adrien said, and Marinette just turned to face him shocked.

Well that seems like a good place to end this chapter. I hope you liked it and I will be starting my updating schedule next week, so I can write as many chapters as I can and publish them to find what pace I am going to write each story's chapter. If you have any idea's about this story let me know in the comments, and I will think about putting it into the story. Until next time, bye
