Did you guys like the ending last time? I know I did, because I didn't even knew what was coming next (Which is kind of bad in a way since I'm writing this story). But yea I hope this chapter is as good as the last one. Onto the story

"Wait what do you mean you don't know your last name?" Marinette asked, confused on how someone wouldn't even know their own last name.

"I'll tell you why after we finish up with Master Fu's armor." Adrien said starting to walk again, hoping that Master Fu would check up on then once they had finished.

Marinette just walked beside him puzzled. 'If he doesn't even know his last name, then who raised him? Who has helped him survive this long in life?' Marinette thought confused by the information that she had been given. But walked wordlessly beside Adrien, even when they got to where Master Fu keeps his armor she worked silently beside him trying to figure out this puzzle.

'Is she mad at me because I didn't explain why I don't know my own last name?' Adrien thought after he had finished cleaning the helmet, and then started working on the breast plate.

After an hour they had finished cleaning Master Fu's armor, and had just placed it on it's armor stand. As soon as they had finished Master Fu spoke up behind them.

"What has happened since the last time that I saw you two, to make you not want to talk at all when working?" Master Fu asked, because he thought they were aware of his presence. But he was proven wrong when both Adrien and Marinette jumped and turned around.

"Ummm, she asked a question that I told her I would explain after we finished up with the armor." Adrien said answering Master Fu's question, as he relaxed as he saw Master Fu.

"Oh? And what question was that?" Master Fu asked curiously.

"I asked him what his last name was because I wanted to know it But he told me he didn't know it and when I asked why, he told me he would explain after we finished the armor." Marinette answered.

"I see, well I will let you tell her why Adrien." Master Fu said, hinting that he knew why.

"Um, ok. I don't know my last name, because I was given as a baby to the people that raised me by my birth mother. I was told that she was badly hurt beyond healing, and she died before she could tell what my last name was or even what her name was." Adrien said remembering what he was told.

"I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm still confused by why you don't go by the last name of who ever raised you." Marinette said still confused.

"Because he wouldn't be my squire if he did go by the last name of who raised him. Besides he didn't know the last name of his guardian until a few months ago." Master Fu said.

"Wait why is that? I thought you only couldn't be a squire to your parents/guardian." Marinette said, not understanding.

"You are right, but that is only if you are their parent or guardian. When Adrien's mother died she entrusted me with watching over Adrien. But I never actually claimed guardianship over Adrien, so that meant that he could be my squire with following the rules. The other knights knew about this whole thing from the start, and your father Marinette was the one who told me not to claim guardianship over him so he could be my squire." Master Fu said, slowly, making sure that he wasn't going too fast for Marinette to miss something.

"So wait if Adrien's birthmother left you in charge of Adrien. Then how would you not be his guardian?" Marinette asked still very confused.

"I technically would be, but I had to claim guardianship over him to the other Knights in our own court. Because it would be a knight only affair so we would take care of it ourselves. Since your father told me not to claim guardianship over him because all of the knights already knew I was wanting to take him as my squire, the other knights just agreed with him and we acted as if the whole thing never happened." Master Fu said as he took a seat.

"Wow." Is all Marinette could say, because she was comprehending all of what was said.

"Yes, it is all a lot to take in. Since I can tell you won't be able to focus while doing your other duties Marinette. I won't force you to do any of your other duties until supper, when you will be needed to help in the kitchen. But I want everything else done before supper tomorrow then, am I understood?" Master Fu said, trying to not have Marinette be unfocused while doing her and Adrien's other duties. Causing Adrien to have to make sure she did it correctly, before they say they had finished.

"No it's fine, I can still do our duties." Marinette said as she quickly got out of the shock of what all she had just heard, so that she can prove that she isn't so easily distracted.

"Well I never said you couldn't, I only said I won't force you to do anything else. And one more thing Marinette, what I just told you is something you should only talk about to either me or Adrien. No one else is to know about this, or to know that you know this. Am I understood?" Master Fu asked looking Marinette in the eye.

"Yes Master Fu, I understand this." Marinette said, to which once she had finished saying that Master Fu stood up and he walked away from where Marinette and Adrien was.

"Are you sure you are able to do our other duties? You seemed pretty shocked by what Master Fu told you." Adrien asked, concerned for Marinette.

"Yes, I'm fine. Now let's go and prepare our stuff for this trip." Marinette said.

"Sure, but where do you think Master Fu is taking us for this traveling trip?" Adrien asked as they started walking down the hall.

"I don't know, but it must be something either really important, or he is just wanting us to get some fresh air and different scenery." Marinette said, hoping for the latter.

(In Master Fu's room)

'I hope she can keep that knowledge safe, but as well I'm sorry that I haven't told Adrien or Marinette who his mother was.' Master Fu thought, while he was packing for the trip. 'But I mustn't worry about that right now, I have bigger problems to worry about. The biggest one being that Plagg and Tikki sent me a letter needing to meet. And from what their last mission they were sent on, it could only be bad news.' Master Fu thought, as he finished up his packing for the trip.

So I hope you guys liked this chapter. I was planning on making Tikki and Plagg as Adrien's parents, but I wasn't sure how that would work out in the story (I'm not sure how this will work out as well). But yea, I hope you guys are doing ok during this time. I'll probably try to post in this story again next week or in two weeks, it just depends on my school work and on how long it takes for the other chapters for my other stories. Until next time, bye
