So, this chapter is slightly shorter than the other ones. Other than that, onto the story.

(Two days later.)

"Marinette, Adrien, did you prepare the horses for our trip?" Master Fu asks as the three of them reached the stables.

"Yes Master Fu, we prepared them yesterday." Marinette said as she rubbed the tiredness out of her eyes.

"Well then, since it seems like everything is prepared then we should be off." Master Fu said, wanting to leave sooner rather than later.

"Ok Master, just let me finish up making sure my pack is secured on the horse and I will be fully ready." Adrien said, just wanting to double check that he wouldn't loose his stuff.

As soon as Adrien had finished double checking his bag, they were off. Marinette and Adrien followed Master Fu, since they didn't know where they were going. They started to guess quietly about where they were going. But they never realized that Master Fu could hear what they were saying, until he put his own opinion in the conversation.

"You two don't need to speculate about where we are going, you could just ask me and see if I give an answer." Master Fu said, without turning his head back to look at the two squires.

"Oh, sorry about that Master Fu. So where are we going then?" Adrien said feeling a bit embarrassed that he nor Marinette thought of that sooner.

"We are going to meet up with two other knights, that were my former squires." Master Fu responded.

"Oh, what two knights are we meeting with?" Marinette asked curiously.

"That is a surprise for when we get to where we are supposed to meet up with them. It is about a day's ride from here." Master Fu said as he flicked his reigns of his horse slightly, causing his horse to speed up. When Marinette and Adrien saw that Master Fu had flicked his reigns slightly, they followed suite doing as they were taught to by Master Fu.

"So why did we speed up some Master?" Marinette asked as she and Adrien guided their horses to be in pace beside Master Fu's horse, no longer just following behind him.

"We sped up our horses, because we need to make it to our destination because we need to make it mostly there before nightfall." Master Fu said.

"Why is that Master?" Marinette asks, beating Adrien to asking the question.

"Because we are meeting up with the two knights tomorrow night, so after we meet up with the two knights I will teach you two the different lessons that I was wanting to teach both of you. But this meeting might change all of the things I wanted to teach you, depending on the urgency of what they need to tell me." Master Fu said.

"Master Fu, have we ever learned about these two knights in your teachings?" Adrien asked curiously.

"No, I haven't taught either of you about these two knights." Master Fu said, as he then turned his horse down a different dirt road, to which Marinette and Adrien turned their horses with him so they can still ride beside him.

(Where Tikki and Plagg are)

"Do you think that we should tell him with his new squires around? Or tell him in private without the two squires around?" Tikki asked Plagg.

"I think we should tell him with the squires, but only after we meet them. Just to make sure that they will be prepared to take up this mantel, if the time ever comes. And so that we make sure that they will be able to handle it, as well as they are worthy of these mantel's." Plagg said gesturing to the objects.

"I agree, do you think that we were followed?" Tikki asked.

"I don't think so, but I think that it could be a possibility. So let's just be on-guard just incase." Plagg said, as they walked swiftly through the woods.

Just then an arrow hit a tree not far from Tikki's face, as soon as it hit the tree Tikki and Plagg turned around from where they thought the arrow came from. They backed into each other, to make sure that they weren't attacked from behind.

"Take the objects and hide, I will follow you if I can defeat this enemy. If I can't defeat this enemy, then it was a honor fighting alongside you Tikki." Plagg whispered.

"No, we fight them together. We have a better chance together than separated, because it would be two against one." Tikki whispered back.

"You two have something Lord Hawkmoth wants." Said a unknown male voice.

"We have nothing of the sorts, you should just leave us alone." Plagg said, his hand going to his sword's hilt.

"Ah but you do, and we are here to retrieve the objects from you two. And we can get them however we please." Said a different unknown female voice.

"Ok, we take them together then. If the fighting get's too bad then you take the objects and run far away, and don't look back. I will hold them off so you can escape when that happens." Plagg whispered as the two figures walked into Plagg, and Tikki's sights.

"Why you two look like you've seen ghosts." Said the female voice, and took one more step so Tikki and Plagg could see her face. To which her partner just laughed and agreed with her.
