Political factions in Konoha at the beginning
Sarutobi faction: led by Hiruzen Sarutobi and main proponents of political alliances and peace major figures are: Hiruzen Sarutobi, Jiraiya, Kakashi Hatake main Anbu and sympathizers in lower ranks
Danzo faction: led by Danzo Shimura and main proponents of war hawk ideas of continuous conflict to further perceived interests through war and destabilizing other nations
Major figures: Danzo Shimura village elders and the root organization
Hyuga clan: traditionalist and believes in strict rules, hostile change

Uchiha Clan: Uchiha clan known for their Sharingan has been distrusted by many in the village do to the actions of Madara Uchiha and the rumors by Danzo Shimura has caused mistrust among villagers that they caused the Kyuubi incident and have used that to marginalize them
