It was a betrayal, this entire plan was the rebuilding of the village appeared just as a way for Danzo to push them out of power. It was an unofficial coup, the Uchiha clan, the clan that had founded the village, the clan that had fought for it in the last war, and the clan that had now been moved so far from power that they were only the police in name.

Hiruzen approached Fugaku's house and entered "what is it that you have come here to ask for Sarutobi," Fugaku asked sternly. Hiruzen took a deep breath and said "Fugaku why are you so suspicious, can't I visit you without a purpose, however, if you have you don't want what I have to offer then I will leave", "and what is that" Fugaku stated. Hiruzen continued "as you should know the jinchuuriki has no home currently and I was thinking your clan can host him.", why would I do such a thing, the village mistrusts us enough already," Fugaku interjected. Hiruzen annoyed continued "the Jinchuriki is the son of the late Minato and kushina and as we traced Minato's family and found his grandmother was of Uchiha descent so your clan is his last family and if you do this in exchange I will instate you as a member of the village council." Fuagku thought this over and weighed the pros and cons of this when an idea came into his head. What if he could turn this child into a jinchuriki into a weapon for the Uchiha and a tool for the clan.

Fugaku replied, "I will agree to this with the additional demand that my action during the third war is no longer hidden, I did just as much as Minato or Kakashi." Hiruzen replied "very well" they then shook hands and this agreement was finalized.

Two weeks later

Naruto

He had known any sort of family, however, this may change as he felt excited for this day for this is the day the old man had said he would be going to his new home he had gathered his things and got ready. He heard the door to the apartment open as two men came in one person knew the Hokage and the other was a man with a Chunin jacket and the military police insignia on his clothing. First, the stranger said "my name is Fugaku, you must be Naruto." startled Naruto responded "yes are you going to take me to my new home" he said intimidated by the imposing man. Hiruzen interjected, "yes, he is the head of the Uchiha clan and you will be living with him." Naruto then gathered his things and left with them to the Uchiha compound. After a while, Naruto asked "why is it so far away?", Fugaku replied with "the Uchiha compound is farther away to better monitor criminals, it was rebuilt this way after the Kyuubi attack." he said this with some disdain in his voice. As they approached the compound Hiruzen said as he left "I will be leaving now, Naruto take care."

As they reached Fugaku's house Naruto felt excitement for the first time he would have a family who would be there for him and him for them.
