Chapter 1: Father and his Kit

Naruto Uzumaki, 4 years old, wanted few things in life.

Love.

A family.

Someone to say welcome home.

And he has nothing.

As he lays on the floor, bruises on his face he felt the tears coming. Good thing they already left. They would probably laugh at him because of crying.

He heard a tapping coming closer and stopping next to him. He looked up to see it was an elderly man with bandages covering half of his face. The man smiled kindly at him "You seem to be in trouble."

Naruto sat up with a lot of pain, and wiped the tears from his eyes "No... they left so I am good now."

The man nodded "They? Were you assaulted by any chance?"

Naruto stood up and grinned at the man, bloodied lip and black eye. "Nop! They just punch me from time to time."

The man frowned and nodded "Do you need to go to the hospital?"

Naruto tilted his head "Why?"

"You were assaulted, that's why."

"Oh!" Naruto exclaimed "I usually don't. My wounds heal, like, really fast!"

The man chuckled "Well, perhaps you would like to eat something. My treat."

Naruto's eyes widened and stomach rumbled "Really!? I haven't eaten in a while now! Where too!?"

The man chuckled "To a place called Ichiraku's Ramen. My name is Danzo by the way."

"Thank you, Gramps!" Danzo bliked with his good eye.

"I just told you my name."

Naruto grinned at him "Yeah, but you are like a grandpa. So I'll call you Gramps, Gramps." He explained and Danzo nodded.

"Suit yourself then.

That day, was the start of Naruto learning about what it feels to be loved. For someone asking you how you are, to inviting you to eat, etc.

It doesn't matter how bad the glares and insults make him feel, or how severe the beatings get, he knows that Danzo will be there to make him feel better.

Everything was alright, until he learned a new emotion from him.

Hate.

"Hey Gramps! Today is my birthday!" Naruto says as he ran into Danzo's home. The man who gave him the key, was sat on front of the tea table and nodded a solemn look on his face.

"Yes, I am aware of it."

Naruto grinned "So, whatcha got for me this year!? I am five now, so maybe something a ninja uses?"

"Naruto, we can't see each other anymore." Danzo said and Naruto grin slowly turned into confusion.

"Eh? What do you mean?"

Danzo narrowed his eye "How it sounds. I don't wish to play this silly family game with you."

Naruto gulped and took a step back "B-But why!? I thought we were friends!?"

Danzo scoffed "I don't have friends. Only tools. And you aren't useful as either. Now get out before I kick you out, fox-brat."

Naruto didn't think it twice. He turned around a made a wild dash to the door. He left the house, wiping his eyes full of tears. He bumped into someone who reeked of alcohol.

"Eh!?" Naruto looked up to see a drunk man glaring at him "Well, well, look that the demon is sad, aye?"

Naruto tried to stand up and escape when suddenly the man grabbed him and dragged him to an alleyway to start beating him. All the emotions he lived plus the pain, made him pass out.

*?*

"Wake up kit." Naruto slowly opened his eyes to see he was now in a sewer. He looked around and saw a gigantic fox with nine tails behind a cage.

Naruto first reaction was to scream which annoyed the fox but didn't showed it. "Don't worry kit. You are safe here with me."

"W-Who are you?" Naruto managed to ask, tears in his eyes.

"I am the only one who truly cared for you. The one who made the nightmares go away and healed you." The fox said and Naruto gulped.

"I-I..."

"Shhh... I know what you are feeling. The feeling of treason. Of pain. Of hurt. Of hate. Give in to them. With me, you will always be safe."

The fox passed one claw out of his cage and Naruto reached to it and hugged it. "Don't worry kit. From now on, I will be your Father. I just need you to break the seal."

Naruto nodded as the fox raised him to the seal, he only managed to rip part of it, before he woke up.

*Hospital, 72 days later*

Naruto's eyes opened in a snap. He looked around and sat up. His eyes are now red with silted iris. His whiskers marks were bigger and his hair seem to have grown a bit and looked dirtier. His nails also grew resembling claws.

"Hello Naruto." Naruto's head snapped to glare at Hiruzen Sarutobi. "You know how you got here?"

"I followed Father's orders." Naruto answered and Hiruzen raised an eyebrow "Father wanted blood, I gave it to him. Father then praised me and hugged me..." he said as he stood up in shaky feet.

He walked pass Hiruzen that let him go. He sighed. He failed Minato. Now the only thing is to make sure he can put Naruto back in track.

Naruto got back his clothes and went out to the streets. As he walked, some kids threw a small rock that landed on his head. Naruto stopped and picked up the rock. He stared at it before turning back to the laughing kids.

Once they saw him walking towards them, the leader smirked "What?"

Naruto didn't answer, he just looked at the rock in his hand. The street froze to mock the demon child. How he looked, how he smelled, how he should die.

"Father gave me permission to play with you..." Naruto said as through his dirty hair, the kids managed to see his red eyes. Naruto punched him on the face, making him fall to the floor, where Naruto mounted him and started to beat him up

Naruto couldn't hear the screams of horror from the people, we has to busy hearing his Father's praise.

Someone turned him around, and channeling chakra into his nails, he created some sort of chakra claw and cut the chest of the man sending him back. Once the man started to run for his life, Naruto continued the beating until he killed him.

*Council Chambers*

"I agree. But no action will be taken." Hiruzen Sarutobi said as the complaints rain over him to kill or locked down Naruto.

"This, is the fault of all of us. We turned him into the demon we feared. Locking him up will only worsen things, and killing him will unleash the Kyubi."

"So what!? We just let him kill freely!?" One council man screamed and Hiruzen glared at him.

"No. Jiraya is already on his way to reinforce the seal and we are working on a new one to put on top of it. Besides, he will be watched by ANBU 24/7 now. Dismissed." Before the council chambers could descend again into madness, he released a wave of KI. "Leave now."

Once everyone left, Hiruzen sighed and glared at Danzo "I told you to get away from him."

Danzo shrugged "This will make him stronger to protect Konoha. And once I discover a way to control it, there will be no problem."

*With Naruto*

Naruto was sat on his bed, hearing his Father "You need to find a way to free me. That way, we will be together."

Naruto nodded "Yes... I will free you Father... we will be together..."
