Authors note: Hey guys! This is my first ever fanfiction, and I really hope you enjoy. Sorry for any spelling errors. I just finished college summer courses, so my brain is kind of on a break LOL. I always loved Mr. Schuester's relationship with his students when they are in need of help (totally in a student/teacher way, no romance) so I thought it would be great to write stories on it since I have a hard time finding them to read myself! Reviews would be highly appreciated On that note, please enjoy my first story!

Chapter 1:

It was bright and early on a Monday morning, and Rachel Berry was not feeling her usual self. She just came off of an extremely rough night, throwing up almost every half hour and therefore getting little to no sleep at all. Rachel rarely got sick, but knew she had to do anything to push through the day in order to make it to glee rehearsals since regionals were the following week and she was the star performer.

Her first period was Mr. Schue's Spanish class, and Rachel was about to do anything it would take to avoid him, or anyone else for that matter in finding out she was not doing well.

On the way to school Rachel pulled over twice and threw up on the side of the road. She knew that this wasn't a good sign for the day to come and had to think about ways in which she could avoid being sick in the middle of class.

Lucky for her, she ate nothing the day prior and finally didn't feel like she was going to be ill since everything inside her was released earlier on the side of the road.

Walking into Mr. Schue's first period, she plastered an incredibly fake smile on her face and announced a quiet good morning to her cheery eyed teacher. Quickly without making eye contact, she scurried into her seat in the front of the class.

After coaching Rachel for quite some time at this point, Mr. Schue automatically had suspicions due to her quiet good morning, but decided to brush it past since it was Monday morning and began his lesson.

Kurt sat directly to the right of Rachel during class, and noticed her eyes were glassy and her attention was elsewhere. She seemed to be pale, and even had a green tint to her complexion.

Kurt gently tapped Rachel on the shoulder which snapped her out of the daze she was in. Forgetting the act she was trying to put on, she let out a very raspy "What's up Kurt?"

The boy grew more concerned and said "Rachel you look extremely ill, are you feeling alright?"

Throwing her defense up Rachel almost snapped at Kurt and slightly screamed "I am perfectly fine; I am just nervous about regionals!"

"Nervous?" Kurt thought to himself. The Rachel Berry he knew has never been nervous a day in her life. This is when he realized that he needed to make Mr. Schuester aware of the situation occurring. Once Rachel seemed to have regained the glassy look in her eyes, adopting a spot on the wall to intensely stare at; Kurt thought it would be the perfect time to speak to his teacher who was just finishing up talking about part of the lesson.

Mr. Schue called Puckerman to the front of the room and asked him to pass out worksheets that pertained to today's lesson. Puckerman grabbed the stack, and Mr. Schue proceeded to take a seat at his desk to begin grading exams that occurred the previous Friday.

The second the teacher sat in his chair, Kurt sprung out of his seat in a quiet manner, in order to not attract Rachels attention.

"Mr. Schue… I think something is wrong with Rachel" he explained.
