Chapter 2:

Immediately as Kurt explained his concern for Rachel, Mr. Schue knew that his previous suspicions of her being off today were correct.

"Thank you Kurt; I will go check on her and see what is going on" he exclaimed, and walked over to the pale looking girl still dazed off, with no work on her paper completed.

He gently squeezed her shoulder in order to capture her attention and noticed how clammy her skin was. Once she looked up at him, he asked "Rachel, are you feeling alright? You really don't look well and are not acting like your usual self."

"I'm just a little nervous for regionals… I am ok though! Thank you for asking."

Rachels point of view

Mr. Schue just asked if I was doing ok, but I have genuinely never felt worse in my life.

I am freezing cold and I know I have a fever, but I cannot let my team down. I feel like I am going to throw up even though I know for a fact that there is nothing left to throw up. I am a straight A student, yet can't concentrate on a single word coming out of my teachers mouth, or the paper sitting below my pale arm. This is going to be a long week.

Mr. Schue's point of view

Rachel is telling me that she is perfectly fine, but I know she is lying. She just seems out of it and I cannot let one of my students and especially glee kids become so sick that they need to be hospitalized. I am not going to let this go until I get to the bottom of it.

Authors note: Sorry! I know this was a super short chapter, but I really just wanted to let you guys know what was going on inside of their own minds before anything super serious goes down. Once again, thank you so much for reading!
