Yep, I decided to bring this back. I had recently realized that there are a lot of things that could've happened in the first part of the story but I couldn't do in the interest of not wanting to extend the story by too much but now I figured that it could be fun.
If you have not read the first part of this story, here is a link to it, although I am going to briefly summarize the first part in this chapter but hey, feel free to check it out.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this second part. Although, knowing me I'm likely going to get bored with this story at some point and move on to something else.
Enjoy!
Chapter 21
As per usual, the sunlight hits Hiccup's face and despite his best attempts to block it, he knew that it was futile. Once Hiccup sees sunlight, there's no chance of him falling back to sleep.
The one thing he didn't mind about waking up was seeing the dark skinned, black haired human that he calls his mate, lying there next to him, wrapped up in Hiccup's Night Fury wings, looking like an angel.
Hiccup also couldn't help but feeling a particular soreness on his lower region, reminding him of the very passionate and intimate night those two had the night before. It was even more special because Hiccup's dad was away doing paperwork for a good part of the night, which naturally meant they could be a bit louder than usual.
Seeing that adorable sleeping human face, Hiccup just couldn't help but let out a sigh of joy. Of course, that sigh did mean something that said human definitely could've gone without. "Ugh, hot morning fish breath. You devil." He says as he opens his eyes halfway.
Hiccup smirks, "And now you know what I had to deal with for years."
Toothless rolls his eyes. "Fair enough." He stretches his arms upwards while yawning. "Morning, mate."
Hiccup smiles. "Mate. Even now, hearing that gives me goosebumps, and I didn't even know dragons could get goosebumps."
Toothless chuckles. "Yeah, beneath our scales we are all just big softies. You know, I've been thinking lately about what's been happening the past few months and I've got to say, given the choice, despite some of the not so good things that have happened, I would do it all again."
Hiccup says with a smile. "Sorry, my memory is a little shot in the mornings, you mind telling me about what's been happening?"
Toothless rolls his eyes. "You ask me to tell you so often, you might as well say it."
Hiccup chuckles. "I know, I just love hearing you talk. Please?" He gives Toothless the old puppy dog eyes that he knew the little guy just couldn't resist.
Toothless nods. "Alright, alright. Well, one morning, months ago, we woke up to find that every human in the village had been transformed into a dragon and vice versa. On top of that, we all turned into hermaphrodites. Now there was the initial shock of it all, sure, but through time, and with lessons from the two of us, we were able to soon figure out how to live our lives like normal. This sounding right to you?"
Hiccup replies, "Sounds about right."
Toothless nods again. "Anyway, during those lessons, the two of us realized that, despite the fact that we're two different species, we have deep feelings for each other and, one thing led to another, and we soon found ourselves mating for the very first time."
Hiccup adds, "And it was the most magical night of my life."
Toothless gently slaps Hiccup for the interruption. "Afterwards, we wanted to take things a step further so we went off to Union Island to perform a traditional dragon mating ritual which sealed our bond forever. And ever since, we've been closer than ever."
Hiccup licks Toothless's face. "And I wouldn't have it any other way. I love you, Toothless Haddock. I always will."
Part of that gave Toothless goosebumps as well. "Toothless Haddock. Wow. You know, dragons aren't much for last names so I've never had one before now."
Hiccup holds Toothless even tighter. "Well, it's a name that you can take with you to your grave. Well, it's probably time to get up. My dad will be up soon and you know how he is about slacking."
Toothless nods. "After last night though, I don't even think I'll be able to walk."
Hiccup chuckles. "You'll be fine. We've done it enough times that you should be used to it by now."
Toothless rolls his eyes as Hiccup sits up and climbs off the bed where he retrieves some clothes for Toothless as well as the metal leg that Toothless now wears after a grueling battle. Hiccup lays that stuff on the bed while he walks downstairs to see that there was food on the table, indicating that his father had already left for the day, which was fine for him since it meant he and Toothless could have even more alone time that morning.
Toothless slowly put on his clothes and his leg before making his own way down the stairs and joining Hiccup at the table. Months ago, the dinner table was set up so that both humans and dragons could sit near it comfortably, which was great because Hiccup was pretty fed up about having to eat on the floor.
When the couple was done with breakfast, Toothless says to Hiccup, "So listen, I've been thinking and, I think it's time we look for our own place."
Hiccup nearly drops the fish he was gnawing on hearing that. "Really? You sure? I mean, we do have it pretty good here."
Toothless replies, "I know that, and trust me it's great that your dad has allowed me to stay here with you, but the fact is that your dad can't always be there for you."
Hiccup just had to ask, "Is this just because you want us to mate without worry of him being able to hear us?"
Toothless rolls his eyes. "No, not at all. Well, ok it's a little bit that but that's not it. You're an adult dragon, you have a mate, you should be able to live on your own. And if things get rough, you will have me, your friends, and your dad to support you."
Hiccup looks down at his food bowl. "I don't know. It just seems so…sudden."
Toothless puts a hand on Hiccup's paw. "I promise you, it will be fine."
Hiccup looks into those emerald green eyes that, just like with the other way around, makes him feel like everything will be ok. He puts his other paw on top of Toothless's hand and says, "Ok. We can start looking for a place today."
Toothless smiles before leaning across the table and kissing Hiccup right on the center of his lips. "I knew you'd come around. Now, that does bring up something else I wanted to ask you. Since your dad isn't here, do you think we could...?"
Hiccup rolls his eyes. "Can you actually go a day without thinking of sex?"
Toothless chuckles. "Just thought I'd ask."
Meanwhile, sitting in a cell on the once dangerous Berzerker Island, sat a blonde colored, blue eyed Deadly Nadder who had received a life sentence to the cell after making the chief of the island destroy the Union Temple in exchange for Hiccup's father's axe, betraying Berk and making the Berzerkers come and attack the island, and even trying to capture Hiccup and kill Toothless in an attempt to make Hiccup her own.
Astrid had quickly learned that time runs very differently when imprisoned. Hours turned into days, days into weeks, and weeks into months. All the while she just sat there, furious that she even got that life sentence, and furious that her plan backfired on her like she wouldn't believe.
The strange thing was that Astrid had no regrets whatsoever for doing any of it. In fact, during those months, she's been seeking…more.
Given all the tally marks along the walls and floor of the cell, she couldn't even count the number of days she's been locked up like a dragon in the old days when Berk and dragons were at war.
It was lunch time so one of the Changewing guards tosses a fish into Astrid's cell saying, "Eat up, you scum."
Astrid grumbles. "Oh, blow it out your vanishing ass."
She did, however, realize that she was quite hungry at the moment. In the cell, she did get fed enough to at least survive, but not much else. She picks up the fish and was about to swallow it whole when she noticed something odd.
She could feel something hard inside the fish. Of course this was a whole fish so there was bound to be bones but this felt different. She also notices the underside of the fish seems to have some nearly invisible stitches.
She looks around before using a talon to open the fish and see a metal key drop from it onto the ground.
Astrid's eyes widen in surprise. At that point, she had many questions but figured that they could wait. For now she gobbles the fish before checking around. Of course, since the guards are Changewings it's not like she would be able to tell that they're there, so she needed a diversion.
As luck would have it, she heard the sounds of something being knocked over in the next room, causing the guards to uncloak and walk over to check it. Astrid quickly picks up the key in her wing and uses it to unlock her cell, but doesn't open it just yet.
Astrid says to the guards in a sickly sounding tone, "Oh, guards, I think that fish was rotten. I'm not feeling too well." She then fake gags a few times.
Now curious, one of the guards walks up to the cell to see what's going on before Astrid makes the door burst open, causing the guard to be flung back.
Astrid steps out of the cell and runs towards the door. The guard looks and yells, "Oi, Astrid's escaped!"
"Fuck." Astrid says as she sees a group of guards uncloak and surround her. Astrid give a devious smirk before saying, "5 against 1. I like those odds." Before raising her tail and extending her spikes.
Alright, that's the end of that chapter. I hope you enjoyed it, if you did please let me know.
So yeah, I do plan on expanding this story and seeing where I can take it. I do have ideas on what sort of route I want to take the story, I just need to figure out which route I want to take.
Although, I am probably/most likely/definitely going to slip a smut chapter somewhere in the story. You'll have to stay tuned for that. Although, I'm sure if you've read any of my stories than you'll kind of expect it.
Anyway, thanks for reading, and I'll see you next time!
