"Yes, I understand, Mr. Polnareff... Yes. I'll be back there soon. I'm sorry if I have to make you and Mista do the work at the Passione... Yes Mista, Trish and I were alright. Oh... Fugo? That's good to hear. Thank you Mr. Polnareff, Mista... Bye."

"So, what's the news back at the mansion?"

"Well, they said that they're doing just fine. I guess I don't have to be worried."

"I told you those two were reliable. Oh, Giorno. By the way, the Speedwagon foundation sent an e-mail last night."

"Really? What does it say?"

"They want us to go and meet them again."

The blonde young man rose and eyebrow quite unsure if he'll decline or he'll go to the foundation now that he started to doubt about them.

"So what you say, GioGio... Andiamo?" Trish asked with an expectant look on her emerald eyes.

"Andiamo." Giorno replied with affirmation. She gave him a pat at the back before going towards her room to get ready.

After a while, Trish came out of the room wearing the clothes that the foundation had left for them inside their rooms and met Giorno outside their suite. She wore a black long sleeved shirt tucked in a pair of high waisted pants. Giorno didn't wear his usual clothes too, rather bland sense of fashion for the both of them but it is for the sake of their 'safety.'

Giorno looked at her with a confused look which left Trish quite conscious and caused her to walk briskly. He's staring at her like he's trying to figure something out from her as they walked inside the elevator.

"Ground floor please." Trish said towards the elevator usher as he pressed the buttons.

"What? something wrong GioGio?" she asked consciously towards him for she noticed that he's been staring intently at her with a frown.

"Nothing. I just noticed that you kept on calling me GioGio instead of my name."

"Oh, that? I heard Fugo calling you GioGio. I thought it sounded good. Is it bad? I can stop calling you that if you feel uncomfortable."

"No. I'm just not used hearing that name... Oh and Trish, what you said last night... Grazie a mille. Thanks for your words earlier. I still find it hard to believe that you chose to stay and I may not know your real reason but I'm glad to have a strong person right beside me. " Giorno smiled towards her which sent her to feel quite giddy. It's rare to see him smile so this means genuine thanks from him.

She looked away quite flustered and cleared her throat before cracking a sheepish smile towards him.

He noticed the sudden bashfulness from Trish and quickly apologizes to her. "I'm sorry. I just made things awkward, didn't I?"

"Just a bit. N- no need t-to apologise. No need to apologise." she stuttered slightly while she internally slapped herself for being so flustered.

Suddenly, the elevator shook to a halt halfway. The lights inside were flickering including the backlight of the elevator buttons were turning on and off violently.

"Ma'am, Sir. Seems like there's a small malfunction to our grid." the elevator usher said as he fixed his misplaced hat.

"Let me just c—! WAHHHHHH!!! M—MY HAND!!! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MY HAND!!!! AAAHHHHH!!!!!!" the usher was caught off by something. The moment that the lights flickered open he saw his hand... Severed and gushing with thick blood. He screamed in horror as he started to hyperventilate from the sight of his left hand that is about to reach the emergency phone of the elevator earlier was now decapitated and is on the floor and drenched on his own blood.

Trish acted quick and tried to calm the usher. She tore off one of her long sleeves and applied it as first aid. "Giorno, can you make him another hand?"

Giorno nodded and as he tried his best to ignore the enticing metallic smell of blood that is invading his nostrils while filling one of his broaches with life force to create a new hand. Trish materialized Spice Lady at her back and prepared herself from the unknown threat.

Giorno attached the new hand on the unconscious usher and materialized Gold Experience. "I can't sense any life force." he stated as he covered his nose from the smell of the blood.

"Can this be a work of an enemy stand? A hit man?" she said as she stood up slowly from her crouching position.

"Stay close, the enemy might attack as soon as the lights went out again." Trish whispered cautiously towards him. They both know that this new enemy was just around. Giorno can sense something moving around but, what was it?

The lights continued to flicker as the tension inside the elevator heightened. "Where could he be hiding?"

"I'm not sure... But I can feel something now. I can feel other life energy inside this elevator other than ours just now but it's fluctuating. No it's not fluctuating, it's moving around fast."

"Do you think this there could be some hitmen that followed us from Italy?"

"I'm not sure but, I can tell they will not let us out of this hotel alive."

Trish gulped as she anticipated for someone or something to strike. The lights surprisingly stayed on for a while but the elevator seemed to be still stuck on its position.

whoosh...

A mysterious swift breeze ran through Trish as soon as the light went out after being on for a while. She felt something dripping from her head. It's wet— sticky. She felt it with her hand... When the lights went back she saw her hand covered in blood. Her own blood. She touched the side of her head where the blood came from only to find out that her right ear was now missing.

Both Giorno and her eyes widened as they felt a menacing presence. She didn't know how to word it and she didn't know where will she be frightened— to the fact she almost got killed or to the fact that she didn't even felt the attack. She opened her mouth to scream for the pain just registered to her in an agonizing sting but Giorno placed a hand over mouth to muffle her screams.

"Did you see who did this to you?"

She shook her head in response as the lights went off again but when it came back, Giorno's hand together with his arm that held Trish's mouth was decapitated from him.

Giorno looked at his decapitated left arm with a shock stricken face as Trish tried to wrap the wound with her other sleeve ignoring the sting from her injury.

"The enemy must've been watching us since we left our suite" Giorno mumbled through his teeth for the pain of the decapitation just kicked in. "They're being bold attacking us in broad day light. We need to get out of this death trap." Trish suggested as she stayed on guard.

"You felt the air too right?. Our assassin must've been using a stand that uses highly compressed air as weapons. It's just a hunch but it's possible since the air inside the elevator is heavier."

"I'm sorry that you have to loose your arm... È un peccato. my job order want you dead. By the way, my user calls me Oral Cigarette, nice to meet you." A strange voice came from the semi-transparent humanoid said as it appeared infront of them. It looked more like a solid semi-transparent silhouette of a man with black eerie eyes that pierced right into it's victims.

An automated stand... Stands that can be used without the supervision of its user. It can think for it's own thus making it hard to predict what's it going to do next. A fitting arsenal for assassination.

"Seems like I missed several times there. I'm sorry. Let me try that again.", then the lights flickered again and with a blink of an eye Trish gushed blood near her neck. Luckily, she shifted before she could got her neck sliced.

"Geez, I missed again. I'm sorry." the stand materialized again. "Can you please stay put so we can do this correctly? And please stay out of the way. I'm here to kill him." Oral Cigarette moved faster as it released a blitzkrieg towards Trish and Giorno.

'looks like this stand is not that precise. But it sure does sticks to it's targets. He didn't even hit the unconscious usher' Trish thought as she finally figure the stand.

"Shut up." Trish spoke. "Are you deaf stronzo? I said shut up." Violent waves of sharp winds came towards her and Giorno.

"What... Did... You just called me?! CAZZO DI MERDA!!!" the stand suddenly switched it's polite demeanor into an enraged one as it didn't even waited for the lights to go off again. It striked Trish like a mad animal. "Gotcha..." Trish smiled towards the stand with a firm eye contact which made the stand halt halfway its attack.

"What?! Why are you smiling like that you bitch?!"

"Nothing. I'm just amused at how pathetic your strategy was."

The stand looked irked but caught off guard from Trish's statement as it charged again head on.

"You really are a stronzo."

"Gahhhk!" The stand choked as it was being pierced by Spice Lady with the metal tube that she snuck from the hand rail inside the elevator.

"While you're blabbering right there I saw that when you attack you'll be solid but when not you'll be air-like. Completely invisible. Also you forgot that fact when you decided to go apeshit towards me and didn't even bothered to wait for the lights to go off again."

"Y-YOU SON OF A—! Kch!" the stand looked at its arm being caught by Gold Experience.

"Oh, thank you for giving me time to regenerate." Giorno spoke with his arm reattached.

"Trish?"

"Let's do it boss."

"MUDAMUDAMUDMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAAAAAA—!"

"WANNABEEEEEE!"

"Arrivederci" Trish and Giorno said in unison after obliterated the stand with a barrage of blows not letting it have the chance to make another move.

"Finally we... Beat... the... Bas...tard." Trish slurred as she slowly collapsed from blood loss. Giorno caught her half way and laid her on the floor. He got his other broach and used it to make a new ear for her.

'She should've been a goner earlier. Looks like sheer determination kept her up.', he thought as he began to restore her ear. As soon as he finished her ear he summoned Gold Experience to bust the ceiling of the elevator and went to the nearest exit with both Trish and the usher tangled into his vines that he use to climb up.

They came out from the previous floor that they're in. They got off with Giorno placing the unconscious usher on the side of the hall while he carried Trish's also unconscious form back at their suite.

"Woah, what happened?" Josuke surprisingly was standing infront of their suite.

"Josuke?" Giorno asked confusedly.

"I was waiting for you guys at the lobby. It's in the email the Speedwagon foundation has sent. What took you so long?"

"How do we know that you are the real Josuke and not some remote shapeshifting stand?" Giorno glared towards the guy infront of him as he summoned Gold Experience at his back.

"Woah there goldielocks. It's me!"

"Look, It's me. I am Josuke Higashikata I am 19 years old, I'm from Morioh Cho, Japan. I met you two inside the private jet were I found out that Ms. Una is one of your capos despite being a celebrity. I have a niece named Jolyne but I call her Jo and she's Mr. Jotaro's six year old daughter."

Giorno kept silent and sensed Josuke's vitals to see if there are anything suspicious but turns out that he's the real Josuke. He pulled off Gold Experience with a sigh of relief.

"Lets talk inside. I'm sort of getting tired from having Trish at my back." he said as Josuke let them to get inside first then Giorno settled down Trish on the couch gently.

He left her there to rest and then he went towards Josuke who just closed the door behind him.

"Are you sure you aren't followed from your way here?" He asked towards Josuke. He affirmed towards Giorno aand then he crossed his arms infront of him.

"What happen to you guys? Did you encounter a stand user?"

"Yes. Unfortunately. We got trapped inside the elevator and got attacked by an automated stand."

"Good thing you guys are stand user's too."

"If we weren't we'll be dead meat. Let's just wait for Trish to gain consciousness before taking the stairs."

"Right. Wait let me just fix you guys up so that you won't look like a total wreck. Everyone will be suspicious if you showed up like you just came out of a shredder.."

Giorno looked at his and Trish's bloodsoaked and tattered clothing. "You can fix this?" he asked as he pointed at his shirt that looked like Fugo's after that attacks from Oral Cigarette.

"Yes, that's actually my power. I can revert or fix almost everything with Crazy Diamond" he pointed smiled as a humanoid stand materialized behind him.

Giorno stared at the heavily built stand that Josuke had and watched as it restored him. His cuts were gone and his newly attached arm isn't hurting him anymore.

"There. Much better."Josuke said as he went over to Trish and restored her too.

"Amazing, then you can just restore yourself if you wanted to?" Giorno asked still at awe from Josuke's ability.

The other gave out a chuckle and replied,"No. I can only heal and restore others. That'd be great though if I can heal myself. " Josuke tapped the gauze on his cheek and stood up and after he finishes Trish's restoration.

A few moments later Trish woke up and sat up on the couch.

"Are you okay Trish?" Giorno asked with a tap on her shoulder.

"Y-yeah. I feel fine. But what happened to me? I remembered being a total wreck but now my clothes and even my injuries were fixed."

"Thank Josuke for that." Giorno smiled as he pointed towards the pompadoured teen behind him.

Trish looked over Giorno's shoulder and worded a thanks to Josuke before galncing back at him.

"Who could that be? The stand user. We definitely destroyed the stand but who and where's its user?" she asked towards him

"We need to keep our guards up and leave this hotel immediately." he replied.

The trio agreed and left the suite leaving no trace. Their discarded clothing were turned into pigeons and set free outside the balcony. Trish held the metal case from earlier while Josuke kept on guard.

After they had everything cleared they proceeded to take the stairs and eventually left the hotel's premise.
