Author's note

To everyone who's reading these I know I'm trying to keep this as authentic to real life wildlife as possible, while still entertaining. That being said I feel this is in order.

As Ronniecoln 88 pointed out there are no wild population of Brown bears on the East coast of America. As you know, in chapter 2 with the Salmon, I do refer to Luan and Lynn as Brown bears. When I was writing this chapter I did not have a specific species of Bear in mind, since as far as I know all bears will partake in the Salmon run, I was simply stating they had brown fur. Brown bears, or more commonly referred to as Grizzly bears are not in the east coast. Since our Salmon characters are specifically referred as Atlantic Salmon. Therefore Luan and Lynn are in actuality American Black bears, however I did do my research and Black bears, despite their name, can in fact come in shades of white, blonde, or brown and of course black.

I would like to thank Ronniecoln 88 for bringing that to my attention.

For the Galapagos, Land Iguanas are not found on Pinta Island, however since hopefully most who read these are fans of Luna and Sam, you can hopefully forgive me for that. Also, Lincoln, Ronnie Anne, Clyde and Leni are more then likely Small Ground Finches, as they are the ones who most of the time glean parasites off the Tortoise's and Iguanas, since ground finches average are four inches tall , they cannot pick the stuff out from between the Iguanas teeth, that was purely for fun.

Lastly Lynn is a Galapagos hawk, and they in fact do not , or at least as much to my knowledge have not been observed hunting finches. They will hunt for Lava lizards and insects, as well as rodents and snakes. This was an idea for more drama on my part. Since Lynn is proven to be a sore loser, this was an added piece, since she would mostly hunt them , not just for food, but also what she would see as a necessary need to undo a personal failure and a need to regain her edge. Again, hopefully you all can forgive me for these.

I try to keep this humorous yet authentic.
