Chapter 32

It's been a little over eight months since Drago's attack, and things could not be going any better for all of Berk.

A proper tombstone was built for Stormfly and now rests on the side of her old house as a reminder and tribute to those that were lost in the battle.

All of the former dragons that lived at Valka's sanctuary were relocated to new islands, some of which stayed on Berk and, after some training, were able to get used to living in a civil society. Valka, Cloudjumper and the old king also chose to live on Berk, the latter of which helped Hiccup get used to having to perform duties as an Alpha and even helped Hiccup out while he was busy with the pregnancy.

Pregnancy life for Hiccup was actually not that bad. Sure, he was tired a lot more easily, he would often wake up feeling nauseous, since he was eating for two he got twice as hungry as normal and had developed a strange craving for deer which he normally would turn down at the thought, and since the baby inside was pressing against both his prostate and his internal balls, it did leave him almost constantly horny which the father of said baby was more than happy to help with.

However, throughout all of this, Hiccup had never stopped having the love and support of his family, his friends, the other villagers, and of course his mate and to him that made all of this worth it.

All seemed perfectly well and good until one day when it all changed for the better.

Hiccup was just lying in the bed at his and Toothless's house that morning, rubbing his stomach which had swollen to at least twice the normal size, feeling the baby inside move around and give the occasional kick. Toothless had just walked upstairs with Hiccup's favorite pregnancy breakfast, deer leg with a side of salmon.

Toothless sets the food down on the bed and says. "How's our little bundle doing?"

Hiccup looks down at his stomach. "Hanging in there. Shouldn't be much longer before it enters the world." He then spots the food and starts to eat it like he's never seen food before.

Toothless nods and sits on the bed, placing a hand on the swollen stomach. Toothless comments with a chuckle, "You know, if I didn't know better I'd say you're trying to be more like Fishlegs or Meatlug."

Hiccup pauses at the comment. "Normally you'd be getting a tail smack on the back of the head for that, but I honestly can't deny that."

Toothless chuckles before saying, "You know, I've been pretty curious as to what this kid is going to look like. I mean, when was the last time anyone has seen a human/Night Fury hybrid? I'm wondering, like, will it have a human form plus wings and a tail? Will it have a dragon head and legs but a human torso? It really is hard to imagine."

Hiccup nods. "True. I've been more wondering if it's going to be a live birth or come out as an egg, but its appearance has been on my mind too."

Toothless nods before leaning in and saying, "Well, whatever this kid turns out to be, I'm sure it will be as charming and resourceful as its mother and as cunning and brave as its father." He kisses Hiccup on the lips.

Hiccup replies, "Yeah, probably. Also I just can't help but wond-" Suddenly, Hiccup felt a sharp pain in his stomach.

Toothless asks, "What's wrong?"

Hiccup replies. "I-I don't know." He then feels the pain again, but this time it's more in his uterus. He also feels a gush of fluid come out of his vagina as his water breaks. "I…I think I'm going into labor!"

Toothless's eyes widen. "Now? Oh, ok. Ok." He gets up and says, "Let me go get Gothi."

Hiccup grunts. "There's no time. This thing is ready to come out now!"

Toothless nods and moves to sit just below his hind legs. "Ok, alright. I've, uh, never really seen a birth before but I will try my best here. Ok, I'm gonna need you to keep your legs spread." Hiccup nods and moves his legs back as far as he can, showing his vagina which, sure enough, was expanding a bit and getting ready for a delivery. Toothless sits on Hiccup's tail to keep it held back. Toothless then asks, "How is it?"

Hiccup groans in pain. "It hurts."

Toothless nods. "Scale of 1-10, how much does it hurt."

Hiccup groans again. "I'd say…8." He then felt the baby shift inside of him and kick his internal balls a little. "Nope, 10!"

Toothless nods. "Ok, just remember to breathe. As soon as you can feel the baby move, I want you to start pushing."

Hiccup nods and takes a few short breaths before starting to push the baby out. Clearly it was tough, but Hiccup was staying as strong as possible. Toothless quickly grabs a towel from the bathroom and keeps it just at the base of Hiccup's tail for when the baby is out. Toothless also puts a few pillows under Hiccup's backside for support.

Hiccup pants a few more times before continuing to push using all of his might. Again, since the baby was pressing against Hiccup's prostate and balls it left his cock to be rock hard and dripping with pre-cum.

Toothless gives Hiccup's cock a few strokes to help soothe him as he says, "You're getting there."

Hiccup asks, "Can you see anything?"

Toothless replies, "Almost there."

Hiccup nods before giving one last push that causes the head and the rest of the baby's body to gush out of his vagina, the pressure of which triggered an orgasm that made Hiccup shoot a load of cum onto his somewhat deflated stomach. Toothless quickly catches the baby in the towel and wraps it up as it starts crying.

Toothless looks down at the child in his hands and says, "It's…beautiful!" He brings it over to Hiccup to show him.

Hiccup's eyes widen upon seeing the crying infant in Toothless's arms. If dragons could produce tears, he would be right now at just how beautiful it was. "It's…the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."

The baby had a human-like head with deep black hair, pointed dragon ears, two tendrils on the side of its head, and they couldn't see them because its eyes were closed but two green eyes that shined like emeralds.

It had a human torso with patches of scales that in a "T" patter along it's chest and stomach, human arms and legs with very sharp claws at the end of its fingers and toes, two Night Fury wings and a stubby tail with two fins on the end. Since it was a hermaphrodite like everyone else, it was hard to tell just what gender it was, but Hiccup managed to get a more feminine scent off of it, indicating that it's a girl.

All in all, it was a gorgeous child for two gorgeous parents. By this point, the baby had stopped crying and had opened its eyes to see the world and its parents for the first time. Toothless brings the baby closer to Hiccup to get a better look and Hiccup says, "Now I know what my parents felt when I was born."

Toothless nods. "Yeah. Well, what are we going to name her?"

Hiccup thinks about it. "I…don't know. I was so busy with learning Alpha duties that I never got a chance to think about it."

Toothless nods before suggesting. "Well, how about…Storm?"

Hiccup's eyes widen as he instantly knows where the name came from. "Storm…it's perfect."

Suddenly, Gothi and one of her assistants walks up the stairs to the bedroom. The assistant explains, "We just wanted to make sure the little guy is ok."

Toothless nods and holds Storm down for Gothi to examine. She looks her over carefully, giving her a tickle on the chin which made her giggle, before handing the child back to Toothless and writing something on the ground. The assistant says, "The baby looks healthy as can be. Congratulations you two."

Hiccup nods before realizing something. "Wait, how did you know that Hiccup was even having the baby?"

The assistant points to outside the bedroom window. Toothless goes to look outside and his eyes widen. "Uh, Hiccup, you're gonna want to see this."

Obviously Hiccup was exhausted from having just given birth, but he did slowly make his way out of the bed and looked out the window to see just about every dragon on Berk surrounding the house, looking excited as ever. Hiccup's parents and closest friends stood in front. Hiccup asks, "Uh, what is this?"

Fishlegs explains, "We could hear the sounds of your labor and knew what it meant."

Valka adds, "Yes, son. This is a very rare opportunity to see, the birth of the Alpha's child, so we just couldn't help but see."

Stoick adds, "Won't you show us?"

Hiccup and Toothless exchange glances as Toothless says, "I guess we have to now." He holds up the baby and says, "Dragons of Berk. I'd like to introduce you all to Storm Haddock!" The crowd then erupts in joyous cheer.

Storm looked around at all the dragons cheering and decided to give her own little cheer in the cutest way imaginable. "Raaaararrr!"

Toothless pats Hiccup on the head and says, "You did an amazing job, Hiccup. I couldn't be more grateful to be this child's father."

Suddenly, a flash of light appears from above the clouds, and soon after, Thor and Artruthium appear behind the crowd. The presence of the gods there certainly caused a stir amongst the dragons and the humans as they look in disbelief. Thor explains, "We thought we'd come down to give our congratulations."

Artruthium adds, "It's not every day we get to see the birth of the princess of dragons. Won't you show it to us?"

Toothless couldn't be happier to hold Storm up a bit to show to the gods. Storm looks to the gods with full curiosity.

Artruthium comments. "It is a magnificent child. Well then, I suppose that as the father of all dragons, I, along with Thor, would like to personally bless this child under my own eyes. May you find happiness and love in your life."

Storm didn't know what to say, mostly because she didn't know how to speak yet, so she just smiles and accepts the blessing. Stoick comments, "A blessing from Thor himself. Now that's a true honor.

Thor then says, "Well then, I suppose we ought to leave you two to it."

However, before the gods could leave, Toothless yells out, "Wait! Before you go, I have a request."

The gods' eyes widen before Thor says, "Very well, what is it, Toothless?"

Toothless takes a deep breath before saying, "I'd like us to change back to our original bodies."

Hiccup's eyes widen as he and all other eyes look to Toothless. Hiccup asks, "Toothless, are you sure?"

Toothless nods. "I've been thinking about this for a long time and, well, look what the transformation brought us. It caused some bad men and a former friend to use their dragon abilities to cause terror and chaos. I think that if we changed back, maybe it can bring peace to the land."

Hiccup then asks, "But, wait, why did you wait until now to ask them? You could've said that after Drago's attack."

Toothless explains. "Well, I thought that if you were a male human again then it would mean we'd have to lose our child and, well, that's just a price that I'm not willing to pay." Toothless could see the hesitation in Hiccup's eyes so he hands Storm to Gothi's assistant and kneels in front of him.

"Hiccup, this past year as these bodies has been the best ever. It's brought you and me plus all humans and dragons on Berk closer than ever before. Being able to talk to you has been one of the greatest experiences I think I'll ever know, but this isn't who we really are. Deep down, you're still a scrawny, one legged human and I'm a large Night Fury and, well, I think that if we went back to being just that, it will bring peace to the world. Please, Hiccup."

Hiccup had to think long and hard about this decision. It is true that he and Toothless had become closer but at the same time it's just as easy for people like Drago, Krogen or Astrid to abuse those powers for destruction. In the end, he knew that what Toothless said was completely true, and perhaps this will be best for everyone. Hiccup gives Toothless a quick kiss and says, "Ok." He looks to the gods and says, "I would like to switch back too."

Snotlout then says, "Well, if those two are switching back then count me in."

Hookfang adds, "Yeah, I miss being a flaming dragon."

Tuffnut adds, "As long as this means I can finally be separate from Ruffnut, then I'm in."

Barf and Belch knew this meant they'd just go back to being conjoined, but they also found it to be not as bad, so they simultaneously say, "We're in!"

Valka says, "I suppose not having to think about my size could be nice."

Cloudjumper adds, "Yeah, plus I do miss flying."

Just then, everyone on Berk said something along the lines of them wanting to switch back. Thor and Artruthium exchange glances before Thor holds up his hand and says, "Alright. If that is what you wish…"

Thor and Artruthium clap their hands/paws together, causing a field of light to emerge that ended up surrounding the whole world as every being is switched back to its original form. The field of light soon fades, showing that all the dragons surrounding Hiccup and Toothless's house had, in fact, been turned back into humans and all of the humans back into full sized dragons. All of the humans were now naked, but they all quickly found cover.

Inside the house, Hiccup and Toothless exchange glances as Hiccup finds that he is once again a thin, auburn haired, one legged Viking male and Toothless is once again a Night Fury with one single fin on the end of his tail.

Since Storm, who was handed to Gothi since her assistant was turned back into a Terrible Terror, was born with this form, she actually got to keep her form the way it was, only instead of being a herm she just got female genitals.

Hiccup hugs Toothless tight and says, "We did it! We're back to our old selves! How does it feel, babe?" Toothless lets out a dragon croon which Hiccup couldn't remotely understand. Hiccup hangs his head. "Oh, right. We can't talk to each other anymore."

Artruthium then says, "Well, perhaps it doesn't have to be that way." He and Thor clap their paws/hands together and soon, everyone's throats and ears lit up for a few seconds. Artruthium explains, "There. Now you can communicate to each other just like normal."

Hiccup's eyes widen as he looks to Toothless. "Toothless?"

Toothless replies, "Hiccup?"

Hiccup smiles wide as he hugs Toothless even tighter. "I can't believe this! This is a dream come true!"

Toothless pats Hiccup on the back with his tail. "I agree. Of course, there's one extra part of this dream." Hiccup nods and retrieves Storm from Gothi and brings her over for Toothless to see. Toothless smiles and says, "It is going to be fun explaining to her how she was brought into this world."

Hiccup nods. "It will. But hey, it will just be another fun adventure." before kissing Toothless on the head.

Toothless nods and says. "We will never be normal again, will we?"

Hiccup shrugs. "Eh, being normal is overrated. I figured that out years ago." Hiccup holds Storm close and Toothless puts a wing around Hiccup as they look off into Berk and get excited for the child's future.

(1 month later)

Of course the first thing that Hiccup and Toothless did the day after transforming back, after leaving Storm with her grandparents of course, was go on a flight together just like old times. Toothless's prosthetic tail was a bit rusty from not being used but Hiccup quickly got that taken care of and they were back in the air in no time.

It took a bit of time for the humans and dragons of Berk to readjust to their lives prior to the transformation, but once they got the hang of it, it was like nothing ever happened.

Fishlegs made it a point to write down everything that happened in a book that he entitled 'Dragon Body Swap' that quickly got published and is now quite popular as a way for the residents of Berk to remember the fun time they had living different lives.

Since Hiccup was still considered to be an Alpha amongst dragons, all of the dragons of Berk had started giving him much more respect than ever before, which was a relief to Hiccup because it allowed him to spend more time with Storm and Toothless and not having to worry too much about dragons getting in trouble or starting fights as they normally would.

And in no time at all, all of Berk was back to being it's normal self. Well…normal enough.
