Truth or Dare

A one shot.

Here's a canon of the trio's sixth year with no Voldemort, no horcruxes, no trio feud or love triangles, just a bunch of teenagers having fun. I hope this wholesome piece of one shot will brighten up your mood during dull lockdowns. Stay safe everyone and don't forget to wash your hands!

It's in the middle of April and the twins albite have graduated came back to support their 'little sis', 'little bro' and 'honorary Weasley' on their final game of the season of their sixth and fifth year respectively. It also happened to be the opportunity to sell their products of their new franchise 'Weasley's Wizard Wheezes' to the Lions at a Hogwarts discount (which is actually two galleons pricier than the original).

And of course, with their star seeker, perfectly coordinated chasers, and a 'mister never miss' keeper in toll, the Lions managed to claim the trophy for Quidditch Cup once again, fifth year in a row if you don't count the Tri-Wizard year.

"Alright alright listen up Lions! We are not celebrating the team's win, without…" Fred gestured for his twin to continue.

"A proper Truth or Dare game." George finished.

"Don't worry we did not spike your punches with our new Truth Thirst Tincture. Instead, it will be offered in small doses during the game." Fred started again.

"If you choose to the 'truth', you will be given the dose. After you have answered the question, you will be given the antidote." George elucidated.

"Don't worry! You will only have a large urge to speak the truth but not force it out of you unlike veritaserum." Fred assured.

"And it's only 4.99 with a buy one get one free discount!" George finished, ending it was a flamboyant gesture.

"Volunteers?" Fred raised and a bunch of Lions walked over, sitting in circles as the twins conducted rounds and rounds of truth or dare.

"Man, I have to give it to your brothers, they know how to party." Dean walked over to where the trio, Ginny and Neville are chatting and patted on Ron's shoulder.

"Well at least two good things came out of their weird prankster personality." Ginny shrugged.

"Oi My father was a marauder!" Harry joked in an unusually good mood.

"And thankfully you inherited more of your mother's traits, well I presume since if an heir of a marauder really does roam around, Hogwarts would be Dogwarts, and Umbridge's office would turn green, or maybe her face will." Hermione nudged, laughing.

"I would not hesitate to do so in fact, why didn't I." Harry asked rhectorically.

"Oh I wish I knew why. But at least you dumped that toad with the centuars." Ron replied.

"They be having a hot game of Trust or Dare." Seamus came over joining the group, not forgetting to stop and kiss his girlfriend Clary Tatterman.

"Oh I think we should all go for a round. It wouldn't hurt, would it?" Paravati suggested which Lavender nodded along beside Hermione.

"Count me out. It's suicidal." Harry waved his hand in disagreement, much preferring to sit here with his friends chatting then having all eyes on him revealing secrets and doing weird stuff.

"Touché touché." Hermione replied, nodding in agreement.

"I'm not going. Still wanna woo some girls, and I got an image to maintain guys." Ron shook his head as well which was quickly smacked by Ginny.

"Image? What image? Your 'chicken in both hands teeth stuck with flesh' image? I think it's perfection, if not try two chickens in both hands." Ginny returned sarcastically.

"Oi! Cut your brother some slack will ya?" Ron said, mockingly offended.

"Oi! I'll cut you some if you have some." Ginny returned and fist bumped with the Hermione, Lavender, Paravati and their other roommate Clary.

"Why you girls always ganging up on us huh?" Ron asked angrily.

"Well dear Ronald, wolves work better in packs." Hermione answered, smirking which Ron let out an involuntary shudder.

"Come on! A game wouldn't hurt? Just one? For the sake of our teenage lives?" Paravati and Lavender urged, which was quickly supported by Dean and Seamus who would jump in to play any edgy game that might cause some drama.

"I don't mind. Well…" Neville continued hesitantly. "It's not that I have much secrets or something and well I'm already awkward enough." Neville shrugged.

"Hey Neville! Cut yourself some slack!" Ginny patted his shoulder encouragingly.

"Jeez sis. Where did the slack come from now?" Ron returned, clearly annoyed.

"Are you a herbology genius?" Ginny looked at Ron pointedly who quickly slouched in embarrassment.

"I'll play too, it's not like I have anything worth the headlines." Ginny finally agreed, seeing as most of the gang are so enthusiastic.

"Well everything about me is headlines." Harry said, annoyed.

"I think I can live off without the game." Hermione replied.

"Come on Hermione! Just one night? Some fun with the gang?" The girls pleaded, flashing their puppy eyes at her.

"Alright." Hermione gave in. "But if I'm coming…" Harry and Ron attempted to dash out upon hearing not the words but the way she breathed and her smirk. They were, unfortunately blocked by their friends.

"No running away, y'all are coming too." Hermione smirked and pulled a grumpy Ron and a defeated Harry towards the centre of the common room where Fred and George's eyes widened in surprise, but also smirked knowingly.

"Well! Look at this! The show is officially starting Gred!" Fred looked at his twin knowingly. As he finished his opening sentence, everyone in the common room quieted, causing a tension to form within the circle of the participants.

"I bai…" Harry was about the dash out of the group once again, uncomfortable with all the attention as Hermione, who is two from his left pulled him down and glared at him which he immediately settled back down.

"Aight! Settled down participants?" George did not wait for a nod before setting a stick in the middle of the circle.

"Spin the flexistick, it will bend and curl so I can assure you that it won't always be the one opposite you asking questions. Red end gets to ask, wood end answers. Clear?" George did not wait for an answer as well as he spun the stick for the first round, pointing at either Lavender and Ginny.

"I got red." Ginny said triumphantly. "Lav, truth or dare?"

"Truth." Lavender chose and Fred immediately handed her the Truth Thirst Tincture which she chugged down.

"Ew, you should at least make it tastier." Lavender commented.

"Okay Lav, who is your first kiss?" Ginny asked.

"Jack Crest, the boy next door. He's muggle, but hot as hell." Lavender answered and Fred handed her the antidote. Ginny chuckled at Lavender, even if she hoped that it was someone in Gryffindor.

"Lavender, please do the honour." George gestured at the stick and Lavender quickly spun, which landed on Dean and Seamus.

"This is interesting."

"Truth or Dare Seamus?" Dean asked.

"Dare." Seamus said confidently

"Okay. I dare you to kiss a girl besides Clary." Dean smirked and Seamus visibly paled.

"Ooh!" The audience commented.

"Fuck you Dean." Seamus cursed before turning to kiss Paravati who is next to him. A round of catcalls and applause were heard from the crowd as Seamus pulled away. He quickly glanced at Clary to see her clapping and laughing as well, which settled his mind a little.

"My spin." Seamus finally spoke up and spun the stick which landed on Paravati and Clary.

"Para, Paravati." Clary mocked those evil Disney villains in cartoons, "Truth or Dare?"

"Dare." Paravati answered.

"Hmm." Clary pretended to think for a while then said. "I dare you to walk towards the window there and scream 'Fuck you Paravati Patil'." Paravati sighed and moved towards the window before yelling what Clary ordered and the crowd applauded.

"Alright, my turn." Paravati smirked and spun the stick which landed on Ron and Lavender.

"Ooh my turn to ask!" Lavender squeaked excitedly. "Ron, truth or dare?"

"Truth." Ron replied and George came over, pretending to force the Tincture down his throat.

"Eh!" Ron spat out his tongue in disgust.

"Alright. What is your deepest fear, O wonder boy!" Lavender teased which Ron blushed in embarrassment.

"Spi… spiders." Ron replied shyly.

"Spiders?" Paravati said incredulously. "Oh my god, Ronald Weasley, afraid of spiders!" The girls started to chuckle and Ron blushed even more.

"Okay! My turn!" Ron spoke up and quickly spun the stick, trying to divert everyone's attention.

"Aha! Dean!" The red end landed on Clary again and Dean rubbed his hands in anticipation.

"Let me see… Dean Oswald Thomas… hmm…" Clary tapped her chin slightly with her index finger, looking at Dean measuringly. "Alright, Truth or Dare?"

"Dare." Dean answered immediately.

"Okay, I dare you, to fly out of the window now and to your room, then fly back down those stairs." Clary pointed at the stairs leading towards the boys' dorm and Dean immediately stood up, grabbing a random broom on the floor and mounted on it, zooming towards the window only to bang his head on the glass.

"Bloody hell!" Dean rubbed his head and the audience laughed while he opened the window and flew out.

The crowd were watching the stairs to the boys' dorm expectantly when they heard some glass shattered in distant and Ron, Harry, Seamus and Neville all grimaced for the sake of their dorm room.

"Which window do you think it is?" Seamus asked.

"Let's not remember that my bed's in between." Harry replied sarcastically.

"Oh no, he has to fly into the room, which the window only opens from the inside, which he would have to blast it open." Ron said timidly, almost imitating the look he had when he received the howler in second year.

"Yeah Ron you finally caught on, congrats." Harry answered.

Just as Harry finished his sentence, Dean flew down from the boys' staircase, with a triumphant smile hiding a timid grimace.

"Which window?" Neville asked.

"Sorry Nev and Harry, I kind of blasted too much and broke some of the four poster…"

"My bed!" Harry exclaimed. "Why does it have to be my bed?" Harry sighed and Neville nodded in total agreement.

"Sorry mate." Dean said apologetically.

"It alright." Harry waved.

"Okay spin it Dean." Seamus changed the subject.

"Aight." Dean replied and spun the stick.

"Clary, Clary Tatterman… Truth or Dare!" Paravati asked.

"Truth." Clary replied after thinking for a while and Fred handed her the Tincture.

"Alright, who deflowered you?" Paravati asked.

"Nobody." Clary replied and Paravati's smile faltered.

"Damn I was hoping y'ain't a virgin."

"Well, I'd like to keep mine for now thank you very much Vati." Clary returned after taking the antidote.

"My spin." Clary said wickedly and spun the stick until it landed on Ginny and Neville.

"Ginny. Oh alright. Truth or Dare?" Neville answered.

"Truth." George handed his sister the Tincture.

"Um, okay. Uh… which teacher can you not stand in this school, except Umbridge." Neville asked nervously.

"Trelawney. I'd rather have two hours of Snape." Ginny spat out, disgusted.

"Hell yes finally someone agrees with me!" Hermione reached out to high five with Ginny.

"Drum roll people." Ginny said as she spun the flexistick.

"My turn." Harry said and turned to Neville. "Truth or Dare?"

"Truth."

"Well… uh spill a secret?" Harry asked hesitantly, unsure of what to ask of.

"I can't sleep without Mr. Herb, my soft plush of a leaf." Neville answered after drinking the Tincture.

A collective 'awww' was heard from the crowd and Neville flushed, scratching his head awkwardly.

"Okay." Neville said after some seconds and spun the stick, which landed on Lavender and Hermione.

"Ooh!" Lavender exclaimed. "Truth or Dare Hermione?"

"Dare." Hermione replied reluctantly. Lavender then smiled wickedly and glanced between Harry and Hermione.

"Kiss him." Surprisingly, Hermione did not start her usual rant about them being childish but then reluctantly leaned over and gave Harry a chaste peck on his lips, before whispering something inaudible to Harry which he smiled.

"Aw come on! That was most definitely not a kiss!" Lavender complained and the crowd also joined in.

"You did not specifically give instructions on how to do so." Hermione smirked. "Y'all witches and wizards need to seriously build up some logic." She said while spinning the stick.

"My turn again?" Clary commented. "Anyways Harry, Truth or Dare?"

"Dare." Harry replied.

"I dare you to turn one of the girls' faces here purple for the whole night." Clary dared.

"Alright. Sorry Ginny this is payback for the bat boogies." Harry waved his wand at Ginny and instantly her face turned as purple as a plum.

"You are certainly getting more. And you Ron." Ginny glared at Harry while swatting Ron's head while Ron laughed uncontrollably with the twins.

"Okay my spin." Harry announced and spun the stick which landed on Clary and Hermione.

"Clary, Truth or Dare." Hermione asked.

"Dare."

"Okay, I dare you to spill someone else's secret." Hermione smirked.

"Jeez Hermione! You devil!" Clary looked at Hermione in disbelieve, not believing that Hermione could bend the rules of Truth or Dare like that."

"I dare you." Hermione replied with a smirk. "I told you, simple logic."

"Jeez alright. Seamus's room back in Ireland is pink in colour, well not princessy but still pink."

"Oh my god man! You be slaying!" Dean patted Seamus's shoulders and laughed mercilessly which Seamus blushed crimson at the secret spilled.

"Alright! So my favourite colour was pink back when I was two I don't know why! So it stayed that way and did not change since I'm at Hogwarts most of the year." Seamus defended himself.

"Okay Okay! Guys leave him alone!" Clary fended for her boyfriend and spun the stick.

"Vati, truth or dare?" Ginny asked.

"Truth." Paravati answered and gulped down the Truth Thirst Tincture.

"Okay, what is your guilty pleasure?"

"Matchmaking on my notebook while eating a tube of ice cream?" Paravati answered and the crowd 'whooped' in support.

"Oh that's guilty." Lavender commented while Paravati chugged down the antidote.

"Oh this is fun." Clary commented as the stick landed on Ron and Hermione.

"Dear Ronald!" Hermione started excitedly. "Truth or Dare?"

"Dare." Ron replied confidently.

"I dare you…" Hermione started, stopping right before her dare to create a suspense. "…to survive a tickling charm for ten minutes."

"Oh not tha… Merlin's hats stop… t…tha…that!" Ron was wriggling uncontrollably as he itched everywhere, his laughters heard all over the common room.

"Hermione, that is genius." Ginny complimented, laughing mercilessly at her brother being forced under a tickling charm for ten minutes.

"Thank you Ginny." Hermione smiled.

"Ron please spin the stick?" Hermione looked at Ron who is still wriggling on the floor howling with laughter.

"Ca… Can't… too… too… tick…ly" Ron spoke shaggily.

"Ronald, that's for spilling my secret." Hermione returned then cancelled the tickling charm which Ron immediately let out a huge breath.

"It's was just one person, and they already vowed to not spill." Ron argued.

"Yeah, thankfully it's Neville!" Hermione returned.

"Bollocks." Ron muttered as he finally spun the stick, with one end pointing at Paravati, the other at Harry.

"Shit." Harry muttered before casting a sideways glance at Hermione whose lips are now pursed.

"Truth or Dare?" Paravati smiled mischievously at Harry, taking a deep breath, he replied.

"Dare."

"I dare you to tell me the truth about the secret Hermione was mentioning earlier." Paravati dared in a sickly sweet voice and the crowd immediately fixated their gaze on Harry, waiting expectantly.

Harry turned to Hermione who's eyes still stuck to the floor, silently chewing her fingers while her head is running at 200% speed with non-stop gears so loud that it can almost be heard by the whole school.

"This is why I said this game is suicidal." Hermione mumbled to herself and nodded ever so slightly, feeling Harry's gaze on her. Ron, who is beside Harry, kept sniggering with Neville whom the crowd looked at curiously.

"Come on Harry, you two have kept this for so long, time to come clean mate." Ron patted Harry's shoulders encouragingly but couldn't help his sniggering.

"Alright." Harry took a deep breath and the crowd silenced.

"Hermione and I are dating."

The crowd erupted into chaos upon hearing that. Cat calls and wolf whistles can be heard everywhere, Harry's mates walked over and clapped on his shoulders. Shouts of 'about time!' and 'I knew it' echoed around the common room. The chaos continued for god knows how long until the twins quieted down everyone and asked the important question.

"Since when?" Fred asked, everyone's gaze now fixated upon the couple.

"Third year, my birthday." Harry replied and George immediately summoned a piece of paper as the crowd erupted into chaos once again.

"Wait y'all placed a bet about us?!" Hermione asked disbelievingly.

"A whole school bet mind you. Winner gets up to… 349 galleons and 67 sickles." Fred said proudly.

"Who won? Who won?" The crowd asked as Fred and George scanned the long parchment of bets.

"Merlin's pants! It's McGonagall!" George exclaimed and the crowd lost it.

"What?!" Hermione exclaimed. "Even the teachers?"

"I told you, whole school bet." Fred smirked mischievously.

"Babe I seriously need to get outta here." Hermione slipped her own personalised nickname for Harry and pulled him out of the portrait where the crowd swooned at the endearment.

"Where to?" Harry took his girlfriend's hand and asked.

"Usual." Hermione replied and the two walked down the stairs and into a familiar corridor until the stopped in the middle of it as Harry started to pace. A door then appeared and Harry offered his hand towards Hermione which she gladly took.

"After you m'lady." Harry said politely and Hermione entered the room with the almost exact same setting as the Gryffindor common room, except the additional four poster double that sat in the room with all the couches and the fire.

As soon as the couple entered the room, Hermione sighed in relief and sank in one of the couches, pulling Harry down with her. She was immediately pulled into Harry's arms which she sighed in content.

"So the secret's out." Hermione started.

"Yeah. I was hoping to delay it until after we graduate but well… yeah." Harry sighed.

Hermione propped herself up, her hands placed on Harry's chest as she looked up to find a brilliant smile. "I think I promised you something."

"And what's that?" Harry asked innocently which was answered when a pair of soft lips planted on his one slightly chapped ones. Harry immediately tightened his arms around Hermione's waist and Hermione turned to straddle him, her knees on either side of his thighs as her arms automatically rose to encircle his neck. Harry's tongue slowly and tentatively grazed Hermione's lips as she welcomely parted her lips slightly which was just enough for Harry to claim her mouth as Hermione's tongue battled with his for dominance. They only parted when the need for breath sounded the code black in their heads their foreheads still touching, their noses barely grazing.

"You know," Harry started breathily. "I was so, so tempted to pull you over and snog you senseless even if the whole house's watching."

"And next time I wouldn't give a damn." Hermione smiled seductively before planting her lips on his once again.

"I still haven't properly congratulated you on your win." Hermione said after they broke apart.

"And I still haven't given you this." Harry took out a round object clasped in his fist. He then opened his fist where a golden snitch flew out fluttering its tiny wings, pondering around the couple.

"Oh Harry." Hermione sighed and admired the golden snitch flying around them. "You shouldn't have."

"I should and I would." Harry insisted. "I only won this game because of you, and for you." Harry said, his hands cupping her cheeks.

"Oh Harry." Hermione's eyes threatened to tear up as she threw herself forward, wrapping his boyfriend in a big hug.

"You have to learn to just accept my gifts and compliments, love, because it will be endless." Harry stared at her intently and Hermione traced her fingers along his cheeks.

"Your eyes are so beautiful."

"You are beautiful." Harry returned with a kiss.

"I love you." Hermione whispered.

"I love you more." Harr whispered back with another kiss.

"No… you can't." Hermione replied breathlessly.

"Just accept this one defeat because no one can love someone more than I love you." Harry said with an end of discussion tone and planted her lips with Hermione once more, pulling them up in the process and backing them towards the bed. Just as Harry was about to lay them down, Hermione flipped them over and pushed him onto the bed, with her crawling onto the bed seductively as well, trapping Harry on his place.

"Now I can properly congratulate you love." Hermione licked her lips seductively and the sealed them together through their lips with a bona fide kiss, opening their night towards infinite love and passion.
