They were such noble creatures. Diligent, industrious and single-minded; all qualities that Cain respected and admired.
Completely without ego, every single bee existed only to serve their community. The concept of 'self' did not exist in bee life.
In undertaking their duties, flitting through field and meadow, they pollenated the plants, and in so doing, fed the world.
Yes, bees may be tiny, but their influence was immense.
That's why Cain loved bees
Then there was the honey. Delicious golden sweetness every morning with his breakfast pancakes.
