Nessie woke up at around 11am, blinking up at the white ceiling as her eyes adjusted to the brightness that evaded the room from the sliding doors of Jacob's bedroom which led to his back garden, Nessie never noticed it until now, but she guessed it was due to Jake having the blinds drawn. That, and last night she had other things to look at. Nessie smiled to herself as images from last night re-entered her mind, it was perfect. In everyway, she hadn't wanted it to end.

Deciding to get up and use the bathroom, Nessie stretched her long limbs as she stood up, yawning. Even though she had been sleep for a good 8 hours she still felt tired. She guessed it was because she hadn't done anything like that in a long time.

As Nessie made her way to the on suite bathroom, she winced slightly at her sore muscles, but she couldn't complain. Once she had finished relieving herself Nessie made her way back into the bedroom, deciding to wear one of Jacob's oversized shirts, since she didn't want to wear her dress again, that and she just wanted to wear something of Jacob's. She already missed him.

Sighing softly, Nessie wandered into kitchen, grabbing a glass from the shelf to fill with water from the tap before making her way into the living room. She knew Jacob would be home soon and that they were going to have lunch together, she didn't know if it was going to be lunch out or lunch here. If it was out she would have to ask Jacob to drop her home to get a fresh pair of clothes.

Nessie was casually flickering between channels on Jacob's T.V when she heard a vibrating sound coming from the kitchen and she suddenly remembered she had left her clutch on the breakfast bar table.

Hastily getting up from her place on the couch, Nessie left her cup of water on the coffee table before rushing over to her clutch, digging inside of it to grab her white Iphone from inside.

6 Missed Calls, 4 from Alice, 1 from work and 1 from her parents, along with a couple of texts from Alice too. And Nessie couldn't help but laugh as she read her texts from her pixie like friend.

'Nessie, answer your phone! Are you alright? Let me know! But don't worry if you're busy ;) I don't want to interrupt. Xoxo'

And another one;

'I've rang you 4 times and still no answer, I take it someone is enjoying themselves! I want all the gossip tomorrow. ;) Xoxo'

Deciding she didn't want an interrogation from Alice right now, Nessie chose to send a short text instead.

'Just woke up, Al. Will tell you all about it later. Love, Ness.'

She hoped that would ease Alice's mind a little, but she wandered what her parents wanted? And Nessie didn't even have to think twice about what her boss was ringing about; no doubt they needed someone to work the late shift. And usually Nessie would or would at least phone back but now Jacob had offered her a job at his garage she didn't care. First thing tomorrow morning she was handing in her notice. Heck, she might even do it later tonight.

Just as Nessie was checking her emails, still standing by the breakfast bar Jacob entered the house, causing her to jump slightly and as she stood there in nothing but his oversized shirt she couldn't help but feel shy again.

It wasn't long before Jacob came into the kitchen, stopping dead in his tracks as he took in Nessie's attire.

"Nessie, you look – Wow." Jacob admitted.

Nessie blushed deeply, mumbling a quick 'thanks.'

"How was work?" Nessie added, moving to sit down on one of the kitchen chairs situated around the bar.

"Great, actually. This time of year tends to get quit busy, hence why we need a receptionist." Jacob chuckled, following suit with Nessie and sitting opposite her.

"Well, I'm glad. And in 2 weeks once my notice is done you can have me – As your receptionist, I mean." Nessie giggled softly, tucking a loose strand of hair away from her face behind her ear.

"Yup. And we can't wait." Jacob beamed.

"We?' Nessie asked, her brows knitting together in confusion.

"Yeah, I told the guys. There ecstatic to have a woman there." Jacob replied, chuckling, before changing the subject. "So, what did you want to do for lunch?"

"I – Well –" Nessie stumbled for words. "Honestly, I don't know. I would like to go out, but I have nothing to wear." Nessie admitted, smiling as she did.

"Right.' Jacob spoke huskily "Well, we could go out for lunch after I drop you back to yours to grab some clean clothes? If that's alright with you I mean?" Jacob asked, his gaze meeting Nessie's as a lopsided smile graced his face.

"That sounds like a plan." Nessie agreed.

It's wasn't long till Jacob had taken Nessie back to her apartment in the city to get into a fresh set of clothes. Nessie opted for a pair of white jeans, along with a light blue top, paired with some white sandals since it was sunny outside. Alice wasn't home when Nessie arrived and she was thankful. She really didn't want to go into details with Jacob there.

After Nessie had decided she looked decent, she and Jacob made there way back to his car. They both agreed on going to one of the café's in town for lunch.

Jacob pulled into a parking space outside one of Nessie's favorite café; Frankies. It was a small café which served a wide range of food and drinks without being overly priced.

"How did you know this was one of my favorite places in town?" Nessie asked in amazement as she and Jacob got out of his car.

"I didn't.. It just happens to be my favorite café in town too." Jacob grinned over at Nessie as he locked his car behind them.

The pair walked inside and grabbed a table near the back for privacy, they were quick to order drinks, while they chatted, looking over the food menu, trying to decide what to eat.

Jacob's back was to the door of the small but fancy café when Irina walked in with no other than Mike Newton himself, clearly engaged in conversation. Nessie had noticed straight away due to facing the door and quickly averted her gaze, hoping Jacob wouldn't notice she was here.

"So…" Nessie started. "What are you going to order?"

"Probably the breakfast burger, It's one of my favorites here." Jacob smiled before diverting the question back to her.

"Oh! – Um, I'll try the same I think. I always have the tuna melt so why not something different?" Nessie replied hastily, trying not to glance over at Irina and Mike as they sat down at a table not far from where she and Jake sat, just then the waitress returned with the drinks, asking if they were ready to order.

Once there order was taken Nessie quickly glanced over at their table, only to make eye contact with Irina who was now staring daggers over at her which caused Nessie to take a gulp of her ice cold coke, trying to distract herself from the stare.

Jacob must of noticed Nessie acting strange all of a sudden, as he asked. "You okay, Ness?" One of his brows quirking up in question.

"Yeah – I, well, no." Nessie admitted. "I hate to make things awkward, but when your ex is staring daggers at me from across the room it's kind of hard not to." Nessie chuckled awkwardly.

Jacob looked shocked to say the least and took a quick and brief look behind him to confirm Nessie's words, only to see her with him. And he shuddered in disgust before turning to face Nessie, shrugging his shoulders casually as he did.

"Oh, her. Ignore it, she's not worth your time." Jacob said gruffly, a slight frown adorning his features.

"I know, still doesn't make it less awkward." Nessie replied.

Nessie and Jacob decided to ignore Irina and Mike altogether and simply enjoy there lunch, and Nessie really enjoyed the breakfast burger too, deaming it to be one of her favorites now too.

Irina and Mike had left before they finished their lunch, well, Irina kind of stormed out but you get the picture. I guess she didn't like the fact that no matter how many times she walked past to go to the toilets or laughed a little to loudly at what Mike was saying, Jacob wasn't interested. During the whole of lunch Jacob didn't falter his attention on Nessie, not even for a brief moment.

It was nearing 3pm when Nessie decided to ask Jacob for a ride home to which he happily complied, Nessie would of loved to of stayed with Jacob longer but since they weren't official – yet. She thought it was too soon to stay the night again.

As they pulled up outside of Nessie's apartment building, Jacob confessed that he didn't want to let her go. And Nessie smiled brightly at his confession.

"That's sweet, and I'd love to spend the night again. But I have a shift in the morning and I agreed to spend time with Alice tonight. Maybe another night?" Nessie asked.

Jacob grinned, nodding. "That sounds good to me."

They exchange a sweet kiss before Nessie exited his car, telling him she would text him later and Jacob also reminded her about writing her notice letter to Stanley's before they waved bye to each other.

By now Alice was sure to be home and Nessie mentally prepared herself for the bombard of questions Alice would no doubt ask her when she got in. It was going to be a long evening, that, Nessie knew.
