Disclaimer: I own none of these characters, If I did, then I would be a happier person. Can we also assume that Quincy's didn't exist post Aizen? Makes more sense that way. OOC warning.

Laying in her bed and staring up into the ceiling of her room, Yoruichi Shihoin couldn't help but think about what she should accomplish today. Or, better yet, where she can laze around. The Goddess of Flash's days after Aizen had been peaceful, uncomfortably peaceful. She had hoped peace would finally give her something to do. Bored out of her mind, the Goddess of Flash didn't have a clue on what to accomplish today. Augh, what is there to do nowadays? Everything is just how it was all those years ago. Yoruichi had thought sadly, remembering her departure from Soul Society. Sighing, she turned to her side and contemplated if she wanted to leave her room or sleep the whole day. Maybe I'll visit the worker Bee today. Yoruichi chuckled as she thought to herself.

Every week or so, Yoruichi would visit Soul Society as she had an unexplainable itching feeling to do so. The itch always seemed to be scratched right after coming back from Soul Society. While there, Yoruichi would always drop by and meet the person who welcomed her the most, Soi Fon. Often, idle chatting ensued with a bit of playful sparring. They would usually have lunch afterwards either in the world of the living or Soul Society. To Yoruichi's displeasure, most times they would eat in the latter, at the request of the captain. After such activities, she would bid the captain farewell and traverse home. Yoruichi missed the division she led, in those times she had things to do at least.

Her thoughts brought her back to before Aizen happened. Days as the leader of Squad two were stressful enough, but they were happier times. Aside from the expectations of being a Shihoin, life was lived lavishly. Her nobility granted her access to most luxuries in Soul Society such as delicacies, massages, tickets to theatrical plays and operas, and much more. Despite this, she never grew to liking these things, her most optimal days were days she could laze around with loved ones. Those days were the best after all. She stated, unknowingly putting herself in a melancholic nostalgia. Yoruichi missed those days greatly, but she couldn't go back into the past, no matter how hard she tried.

Shaking her head from the gloomy thoughts, she figured to visit Soul Society today as she had yet another itch to scratch. Slowly, as to not incur a head rush, she arose from her bed and began searching for clothes to wear today. Finding her wrinkled orange jumper and thick black leggings, she began changing. Her clothes reeked, but she decided to handle that later.

"Kisuke!" Yoruichi shouted, disturbing the quiet atmosphere of the Urahara Shop. "Can you open the door to the Senkaimon? I'm in the mood to visit Soul Society today." She stated as she finished getting ready for the trip. She had hoped her trip to Soul Society would lighten her mood.

"Be careful this time. And try to come back early please?" Kisuke said, showing a hint of fatigue. He was scratching his chin as he remembered the last time she had come back from Soul Society was late into the night. He had been woken up from her reckless and loud entrance back into the shop.

"And don't forget to say hello to Soi Fon taichou for me~" He jokingly teased while he narrowed his eyes and smirked.

"What makes you think I'm going to see Soi Fon today? I have plenty of other people to visit and things to do there." Yoruichi half lied. She knew Soi Fon would be on her list of people to visit today and didn't want him to guess her whereabouts.

"Oh please. I know you always visit your Little Bee, I can basically smell her on your clothes when you come back." Kisuke baited with a wink. "Besides, I'm sure you're trying to make up for lost time anyways, so why not hit two birds with one stone?"

Yoruichi slightly frowned at this comment and only scoffed in response. "As if all I do in Soul Society is stay within 2 feet of Soi Fon." Yoruichi said with no hesitation, rolling her eyes as she finished walking through the portal. Kisuke chuckled to himself as she left.

Within moments, Yoruichi set foot into Seireitei. The sun rose high up and reflected her orange jumper around her surroundings. Yoruichi breathed in the familiar air of the otherworldly dimension. The wind was blowing cool breezes with the clouds barely painting the sky. This day was like any other, except the air felt as if it was less tense since Aizen's defeat. Taking advantage of this, most Divisions were relaxing on this day. Well, most Divisions. The only exception was the Second Division, which was working harder than ever. She decided to visit that place first on her list. With the day being as nice as it were, she figured there was no need to rush, so she opted for a leisurely walk to her destination.

Yoruichi greeted common shinigami as she strolled to squad 2. After the battle, she was hailed as a war hero and was praised for it. Sometimes, lower ranked shinigami would come up and give her needless gifts to thank her for her service in the war. These gifts consisted of, in her opinion, bland tasting food and small trinkets and bracelets. Unfortunately for these shinigami, being hailed as a Great Noble, she is used to being showered with these gifts. They weren't all bad; sometimes the food was a perfect snack for her stroll through Seireitei. Other times she would give it to those in the Rukongai so as to not waste such things. Yoruichi chuckled lightly because after a while she realized some of these shinigami were secretly hoping to seduce her, not that she would allow that anyway.

Jumping onto the Second Division courtyard rooftop, Yoruichi let out a small sigh of relief. She had finally made it to her first destination and was grateful there weren't any gifts today. Without noise, she landed softly onto the pavement of the courtyard. Walking to the captain's office, Yoruichi turned her head to overhear the Division hard at training with multiple grunts and shuffling movements being practiced until perfection. Some unlucky soldiers were showing visible exhaustion, with their onmitsukido uniforms drenched with sweat. With the day barely starting, she wonders if she should tell Soi Fon to tone it down a bit. After all, they did succeed in bringing down the biggest traitor in Soul Society history. As always, my Little Bee is hard at work with these men. Her thoughts are interrupted as she overhears Omaeda shouting orders to the group, imitating Soi Fon's strict teaching methods. Yoruichi visibly cringes at the idea of Omaeda being like Soi Fon. Not that she cares for how squad 2 is taught, but that he can't be seen as someone who instills discipline and conformity for his well known lazy habits.

"Yo, Omaeda." Yoruichi hollers to catch the lumbering oaf's attention while he drizzles potato crumbs from his mouth over the poor soldier directly in front of him.

"Hm? Who's there?" Omaeda unconsciously yelled, his jewelry and bag of snacks moving making crinkles and jingling. He turns his head in the direction of the noise and unknowingly disrupts the atmosphere of instruction.

Yoruichi looked onwards with indifference towards the man, having become used to his slightly disrespectful tone. To his credit, he didn't hear a single noise coming from her until she grabbed his attention.

"It's me, you big buffoon. Now where is your captain and why is she training the men so hard since the battle is won?" Yoruichi rolled her eyes. She looked throughout the Division to see that everybody had stopped instruction to the sound of Omaeda yelling.

"Oh, my apologies, Yoruichi-dono." Omaeda bowed his head slightly. "Captain Soi Fon is actually havin' a day off today y 'know? She gave me control of the Division and I'm just doing what she would want to do after the battle." Omaeda grinned widely trying to impress his squad mates, a glint coming from his crooked smile.

Yoruichi raised her brow in curiosity. Soi Fon would rarely give control to Omaeda unless she's spending time with me. She thought to herself.

"Really now? Where do you think she has gone off to on this supposed day off?" She said as she crossed her arms in slight dismay wondering where her Little Bee had gone.

"Beats me. I was just given a letter by one of my men today and told that I have been given full control of the Division. That was early in the morning and I've been running this Division since." Omaeda smirked in pride. He turned his head to finally see nobody doing their drills. "What are you all doing? Get back to training!" He shouted to the squadron, his face showing irritation while his snacks almost threatened to spill out their contents.

Yoruichi quietly hummed in curiosity so as to not get a reaction from the lieutenant. Soi fon is gone? It's so unlike her to not be training these men when I'm not here. She had an idea that made her grin slightly. I guess we're playing hide and seek, Little Bee. Without a word, she shunpoed and left the lumbering oaf in confusion as he tried to get the squad back to working order with this slight disturbance that happened.

With the day becoming noon she opted to start her search for the captain immediately. She had made a mental list of places and people Soi Fon could potentially be with. But the chances of her being with anyone were low; Soi Fon had liked to spend her days off alone. There is no Shinigami Women's Association meeting today, so that's off the list. Yoruichi pondered as she landed on the steps in front of Soi Fon's office. Sliding the shōji open, She peered inside the main office to find no one residing within. Well that's a surprise, I thought that she would be in here if she's not training the men today. Closing the shōji, she shunpoed off into Soul Society to search for her Little Bee, her determination to find the missing captain brimming.
