Focusing on where the reiatsu came from, she scanned the area with her eyes desperately. With bated breath, she waited for the next flare up. Once again it had flared and ceased, all within a split second. Finding the source and direction, Yoruichi instantly shunpoed where it had come from. Landing on a tree branch and scouring the area, she had soon found who she was looking for and laid her eyes on the petite captain Soi Fon. Relief and happiness washing over the Goddess of Flash. With what Soi fon was wearing, something else washed over her as well.

Soi Fon was wearing the pink swimsuit Yoruichi had gotten her in the world of the living. The pink did no good in hiding the body of the Captain underneath, with there being little to no need for imagination. Each curve and edge molded to the swimsuit as if it were just another layer of skin. Her hair had been let loose from the usual braids and long tresses had reached the small of her back. Midnight blue hair led Yoruichi's wandering eyes to stop on the firmly toned glutes, capturing her eyes in a mystified gaze. And if that wasn't enough, her eyes shone deadly beauty, as if looks could kill. They weren't staring at Yoruichi, but she knew if they did she would effectively melt.

In her chest, her heart started beating faster, this time in with excitement. Water droplets glistened on the skin of the Captain during the setting sun, eliciting a small whisper-like moan coming from Yoruichi. Last time she had been with Soi, their parting left her giddy and happy. Now, Yoruichi feels desperation and something along the lines of desire.

Once her nerves had calmed down, she took in the scope of where she was and where the captain had led her. Soi Fon had been standing in a small lake barefooted. Water reaching to the captains shin. Rocks surrounded the lake, almost like a barrier, while a waterfall was nearby. The waterfall's stream produces soothing sounds and slight vapor mist. The lake she was standing in had led way into another waterfall overlooking a mountain range valley filled with dense green vegetation and wildlife echoing the distance. Scenery like this had seemed untouched by any shinigami hands. Soi Fon had been posed as if ready to strike. Her killing intent let loose only for a split second before being suppressed once again.

In her hand there were two large catfish thrashing wildly, caught by the killing intent. Soi Fon's grip didn't ease and she had carried the fish out of the water into a makeshift camp nearby. The captain had found a spot to sit near a small fire and set the fish down onto a cutting board. She took a small chef's knife and cleanly gutted and descaled them in record time. Fish had been the captain's favorite. It's no surprise that she would be able to do such things.

Snapping out of her entranced daze, Yoruichi cleared her throat to alert the captain of her presence.

"Yoruichi-sama! What brings you here?" she said with a surprised smile and slight blush.

"I've searched everywhere for you. Where have you been? I was worried sick about you." Yoruichi exclaimed desperately.

Soi Fon gave Yoruichi a puzzled look while raising a brow. "There was no need to search Yoruichi-sama, I left a note on my desk in case you ever came on my day off." she said plainly. The fish sizzled lightly as she put it on a pan.

Yoruichi visibly smacked her own forehead at this statement and sighed. Her time searching and inadvertent angst were all for nothing. Well, almost nothing, at least now she can confront her about Soi Fon's feelings towards a certain lieutenant and herself. She was almost dying to know whom she favored and would lean towards in the end. But first she had to work that into conversation, it would be highly suspicious to blurt it out of nowhere.

"You mean I spent all this time looking for you and there was a note? Damnit, I should've known you'd let your beloved master know." She teased mildly while also grinning at the captain.

"Yoruichi-sama, I didn't know you searched so hard for me." Soi Fon blushed deeply at the comment, while a pair of tongs had delicately turned the fish over in the pan.

"Anyways, what're you doing out here alone? I thought you'd be training instead. Not swimming and fishing." Unconsciously staring hungrily at both fish and Soi Fon.

Yoruichi had deeply wanted to comment on how nice the swimsuit fit her. Every minute or so, she'd trail her eyes down the captain's body, clearly checking her out. Soi Fon had yet to notice the hungry stares directed at her. It would take a lot of willpower to fight the urge to envelop her Little Bee in a tight hug and possibly something more.

"My training encompasses many fields of combat, Yoruichi-sama. It just so happens that you've caught me at a survival training practice." She stated calmly. "In the event I must pursue a target for prolonged periods or they are a ways away, I would like to test my survivability in the forests or deserts. Wherever my target may be." Soi Fon's face had a serious demeanor explaining the reason.

Survivability had been an aspect she hadn't practiced in a long time. She'd be damned if she were to be caught lacking in that skill area. During the absence of Yoruichi, Soi Fon had been given a mission with three others to track down and eliminate a highly dangerous target a substantial distance from Seireitei. Their victory had come at a cost of grave injuries, one such squad member having lost their leg. The trek backwards had been a long one and they had used all their rations. Needless to say, the injured captain had resorted to wilderness survival to pull through and eventually come back.

There have been few missions that required such a feat, but throughout her time in the second division from bodyguard to captain, she had done the vast nearly all of them. Ever since then, she had been reluctant to assign missions to even the most veteran of officers in her corps. She opted to do those missions herself. It being both a way for her to practice her wilderness survival and due to her abilities as a captain. Despite her outwardly cold demeanor, it hid her proud and protective nature for her division.

"Are you okay Soi Fon? You're spacing out with a rather serious face showing." Yoruichi stated worryingly, hand reaching out for her.

"I'm alright Yoruichi-sama, It's nothing." Soi Fon stated calmly, hiding her slightly traumatic experience. "Did you want some of this fish? I can only assume all that searching for me has made you a little drained." she said, changing the topic.

"I'd love to have some." Yoruichi grinned. "You know, you've got me so worried about you today. I think I deserve more than one to make up for my efforts." She said with a proud smirk and raising her eyebrow.

Yoruichi hoped Soi Fon would catch onto her small joke as she sat down on a nearby log.

"Oh? My apologies, Yoruichi-sama, I'll get you another fish to cook right away." She said with no hesitation, already rushing back into the small lake.

"No, wait! I'm joking. I'm joking." She reached her hand out to the captain, trying to grab her. "Two is enough for the both of us. Thank you, my Little Bee." She teased while patting the spot next to her, beckoning the captain to sit.

Slowly, she made her way over to the log Yoruichi was sitting on and stopped in front of it, eyeing it to ensure stability. Oftentimes, she sat in close proximity to Yoruichi. They were always close together even in the vast open fields. Her feelings towards the older woman have grown comfortable. No longer did she feel the need to be intimidated by being near her goddess. The two were known throughout Soul Society as friends, some people hinted that they were even deeper than that. Wherever Yoruichi was, Soi Fon would almost be sure to follow. That is, if Soi Fon could find the woman.

"I'm sure this log is not gonna break, Little Bee. I'm not that heavy." Yoruichi furled her brow lightly.

Snapping herself out of a small reverie, Soi Fon slowly sat a good foot away from the Goddess of Flash. Almost instantly, she felt a hand on her side pull her closer to Yoruichi. She yelped, eyes widening slightly to the sudden touch.

"Yoruichi-sama, we're awfully close. There's a lot of room to sit and relax here." She said as she faced the grinning woman.

"I know, but I haven't seen you all day. I've missed you so I think I have the right to be this close." With a flick of her hand, she turned the fish in the pan over, revealing the perfectly cooked salmon.

"B-but-" Soi Fon felt her heart flutter upon this statement but quickly calmed her nerves.

"No buts!" She snapped playfully. The hand that brought them closer together now made its way to rest on Soi Fon's shoulder. Squeezing lightly upon touch to ensure playfulness.

Soi Fon softened at the hand on her shoulder. There was no arguing with Yoruichi. Whenever they were together, Yoruichi had opted to try to relax with her and take her mind off work. Much to the protest of the captain. Any rebuttal would end with Yoruichi effectively cupping both sides of her face and silencing any complaints.

Soi Fon sighed in agreement, letting herself relax at the close proximity of her mentor. After a few moments, Soi Fon leaned forward and transferred the cooked fish onto a plate and began to prepare a condiment to pair with the fish. Again, swift hands had grabbed various ingredients and mixed them well in a small bowl. Proud of her homemade sauce, she began to debone the fish, leaving big morsels for the both of them to enjoy.

Yoruichi stared in awe at the ability of the captain. Surprise was clearly evident on her face with the movement of her hands. Each action was perfect, the cutting, the mixing, the pouring, it seemed like second nature to breathing. Cooking was something that Yoruichi never thought the captain achieved. Soi fon finished and plated each piece of fish, accompanying it with one shared bowl of sauce.

"This is incredible, Soi Fon!" Yoruichi hungrily wolfed down each morsel like there was nothing tomorrow. "All this talent and you'd make a perfect housewife." Yoruichi hummed in delight.

"I-I've made this the way I always do. It took some time, but it's nearly perfected. My grandmother always made it the best." Soi Fon looked down, blushing intensely at Yoruichi's comment.

"It's perfect as is, Little Bee." Yoruichi finished her food quickly, eyeing the captain rather fondly. She was content with her meal. Soi Fon had slowly and eloquently eaten her fish, eating quietly while the blush was still evident on her face.

Yoruichi opened her mouth to tease her again, but saw Soi Fon had left a small portion of her fish left over. Usually Soi Fon would offer the leftover meal, however Soi Fon had begun putting it away into a small container along with the sauce.

"You seriously can't be using that for a ration aren't you?" Crossing her arms, Yoruichi's disbelief at how such a small portion can be eaten with a few (of Yoruichi's) bites.

"Oh, no, Yoruichi-sama. I'm planning on giving this to Matsumoto so she can taste some." She said as she stored it in a little bag.

Yoruichi's heart quickened at this statement. While her face showed no emotion, Yoruichi had begun to remember the earlier thoughts in her mind. It all came rushing back quickly.. She felt her stomach sink a little bit at the moment, almost leaving her saddened at the captain's words. If she were to ask her about Rangiku, she should do it now. That was the point of her earlier inner struggle.

"Hey, Soi?" Yoruichi started slowly. Trying but failing to mask her slight anxiety flaring up. Her head was bowed down to look at the floor.

"What is it, Yoruichi-sama?" She didn't turn to look at Yoruichi's face, thankfully.

"Can I ask you a question?" Yoruichi exhaled slowly.

"Yes, Yoruichi-sama? Something on your mind?" She said, finishing packing everything.

"Are you...seeing someone right now?" Yoruichi said quietly.

Soi Fon, at the mention of this question, instantly paused and looked up at her former master. Yoruichi's head had been slightly bowed to try and hide her face, it was not working well. In a fit of uncharacteristic display, her eyes were darting around trying to avoid eye contact with the younger woman. A slight blush offset the tinge of what she could make out to be desperation and longing, immensely abnormal to be seen on the Shihoin's features.

Yoruichi could feel her heartbeat quicken again. With each second passing without an answer, her chest stung worse and worse. The pain from before slowly creeping back. Her heartbeat drowned out any outside noise as she awaited the answer of the younger woman.

"What do you mean by seeing someone?" She raised her brow, unknown to the catchphrases of the human world.

"You know… in a relationship with someone." Yoruichi trailed off at the last word, still not making eye contact with the younger woman.

Soi Fon was taken aback at this statement. Soi Fon had never seen her former master act this way before. As a Fon, Soi never knew anything else other than overflown confidence, teasing displays, and casual behavior coming from the woman before her. It seemed odd to find Yoruichi interested in her personal life, even more so with her unusual display of actions and emotions.

The question itself was absurd. Her whole life was bathed in discipline, honor, loyalty, and justice. The only time she had let emotions run amok were the departure of Yoruichi and her return. Ever since Yoruichi left, she had destroyed herself in all aspects of health trying to move on from such a traumatic event. It scarred her emotionally in more ways than one, leaving her unavailable to the actions of romance. She would hate to admit it, but Yoruichi took her heart with her when she left.

In the time she left, Soi Fon trained relentlessly to repress her feelings, but to no avail, it ended in the metaphorical jar exploding and releasing pent up raw emotion. Falling to her knees, it felt like it was all for naught if she still felt inferior to her old master. Not everything was bad though, after their battle, she came in touch with emotions again. This time, letting them be felt and learned from instead of repression and denial.

Since feeling her emotions, Soi Fon had also taken other qualities to life. Indeed, she has come a long way from being the cold ruthless commander of the 2nd division. She was still known as the "strict" commander, but she had eased up on her cold and unforgiving tendencies. Romance was still foreign to her, yet it was because deep down she feared another accident akin to Yoruichi would happen again; where the object of her affections would leave without a word.

A few months after Yoruichi returned, so did her feelings, much to the dismay of the captain. She would often catch herself reverting back to old mannerisms when around Yoruichi. Yes, there was still the usual blush, but it had become more than that. Her younger self loved Yoruichi, both as a master and secretly, a hopeful lover. Now, that same love is still present, only grown many fold. As much as she tried to push away the romantic feelings of her friend, she could never bury them. Even now with the situation, she felt happy knowing Yoruichi searched so heavily for her.

"Soi? I-I'm waiting for your reply." Yoruichi stated nervously, bringing the captain back into focus.

"I apologize, Yoruichi-sama. I'm not in a relationship with anyone right now." She said carefully, in hopes to see Yoruichi's reaction.

Said woman's head raised and peered into the eyes of whom she now knew she loved. In the seconds Soi Fon was trapped in her reverie, Yoruichi didn't fare any better. With a torturously long wait for the answer, her whole body sent shivers down her spine. Her heart beat as rapidly as it did before with her inner battle of anxiety.

"A-are you thinking of someone right now Soi?" Yoruichi asked, slightly more relaxed. I should at least see if she's interested in someone. An image of Rangiku and Soi Fon painfully flashed through her mind, sending slight panic through her, despite her outward relaxed appearance.

Soi Fon inwardly smiled as she had figured out what Yoruichi was planning. It was incredibly rare for her to play a joke on her master, but she deemed now was the time to tease her back for all those years.

"Yes, I am thinking of someone right now, Yoruichi-sama." She stated while smiling and looking off into the distance.

"I-I see, do you think you could t-tell me who it is?" Yoruichi basically infused her voice with desperation, staring at the woman next to her longingly.

"Hmmm, I can't tell you who, but I can tell you what they did to catch my...romantic feelings." Soi Fon almost gagged at the last words.

"L-lets hear about it then." Yoruichi sighed slightly in defeat. It's too late, huh? I-I should at least find out why she likes Rangiku. She thought sadly.

"It's hard to describe, Yoruichi-sama. Whenever I see them, I always seem to relax and be able to catch my breath. My demeanor seems to fade away and I feel like everything is going to be alright. I haven't been close to them long though. But their eyes, their eyes stare at me in the slightest of ways and they seem to entrance me, like I'm in a high level bakudo spell. I just can't seem to want to break free either." She said wistfully, half trying to prank Yoruichi and half daydreaming, whilst a blush painted itself across her face.

"A-And their personality, they seem to light up the room effortlessly. They may be lazy and sluggish, but they know how to have fun and loosen me up." Soi Fon began to look into the ongoing fire dreamily.

"I feel happy and airy when they get close to me. Like they are poisoning me with tenderness and relaxing my very soul. Indeed, nothing has made me this way in a long time, but something about this person makes me feel like I have a chance at finally being happy with someone." Now full fledged in her own daydreams, Soi Fon forgot her whole plan to prank Yoruichi and instead was thinking of her.

Yoruichi didn't say a word, instead opting to close her eyes and bow her head down. It felt like her heart was breaking with each word Soi Fon used to describe the object of her affections. She really loves her, doesn't she… I-I really did leave it too late. Yoruichi had begun to uncontrollably tremble slightly at this newfound information. I hope she's h-happy with her.

At the sensation of vibration coming from the wood they both sat on, Soi Fon looked at the woman next to her. She could swear she heard a small sob coming from Yoruichi as she saw her trembling in her seat. It wasn't cold in the makeshift camp, so her mind instantly landed on the theory that her former master was crying. Oh no! Maybe I'm taking this too far... I need to tell her the truth or else she's going to break.

"Y-yoruichi-sama? Are you alright?" She said as she reached a hand out to the had she seen the woman before her become so human. In her years she'd known the woman, she'd never seen her cry. It was immensely atypical of the Shihoin woman who was revered as a god to her.

"Yes, I'm fine." Sorrow marred her voice as she spoke. "Don't worry about me, I'm happy that you've found someone." Raising her hand to wave away the one reaching for her. Another sob escaped her voice as she tried to hide her actions. She still hadn't turned to face the younger woman staring at her.

"Yoruichi-sama. Look at me." Soi Fon spoke softly. Intent of letting this small prank go.

Yoruichi still didn't look at the woman for fear of letting her see the sadness on her face. She wanted to get out of there as fast as she could, but it hurt too much to move. She hoped Soi Fon wouldn't mind if they sat in silence for a while.

"Yoruichi-sama, look at me, please." This time with a voice that demanded attention. It felt unusual to use it on the older woman, but she needed to end this small prank as soon as she could.

Slowly, Yoruichi opened her eyes and raised her head to the woman. Soi Fon could finally see what emotions washed over her face. Sadness. It was everywhere, on her mouth, her body posture, her mood, her eyes. It looked as if a flood of tears were waiting to spew forth from those eyes Soi Fon loved so much.

"Yes, Soi?" Her voice said with sheer ache and pain. It hurt the captain to see her like this. Soi Fon didn't want to tell her it was a joke now, it was too late and it would only be a cruel thing and ruin the moment. In a last attempt, she realized what she had to do.

"I'm talking about you. I've been talking about you this whole time, Yoruichi-sama." She had said meekly, now revealing her hidden feelings for the older woman. It made Soi Fon feel bad that she had let it go this far down the road. Never in her life would she expect to have this much of an influence on the older woman she loved preciously.

"This...isn't time for jokes, Soi Fon. I know you l-love them, I can see how they make you feel." She bit back harshly, Yoruichi struggled with the word "love". In her mind, she was already bent on accepting that Soi Fon doesn't love her anymore. The faster she could accept it, the faster she could stop herself from crying.

"I'm not j-joking, Yoruichi-sama. It's really you." Soi Fon had spoken seriously. Despite this emotional conversation, Soi Fon couldn't help but blush madly at the situation. "I couldn't love anyone else except you. You're always the one...no matter how long it's been. Even now, my heart is yours." she said softly, looking her dead in the eyes, set on her confession.

Yoruichi's eyes widened at her words. Those eyes slowly withdrew sadness from them and in its place was hope emerging. "R-really? D-do you mean that?" She said desperately, not sure if what she was hearing was real. All emotions of dread were beginning to fade as she had to make sure Soi Fon was speaking the truth.

I guess I'll have to s-show her...I hope this works. Soi Fon thought embarrassingly. In an uncharacteristic display, Soi Fon had built up the courage inside her and closed her eyes as she leaned in to kiss the older woman softly on her lips.

Both of the women's emotions exploded with surprise and warmth. Neither of them could grasp what either was doing and they both felt themselves achieve momentary bliss upon contact. The younger woman's face was an even deeper crimson red as she parted their lips as quickly as it began. She had hoped it would convince Yoruichi of her feelings and wanted to study her reaction.

Soi Fon was not the only one blushing, Yoruichi almost matched Soi Fon's shade of red after the kiss. It was such a shock to Yoruichi that her mind blanked entirely. So much had happened in the span of a couple hours so she couldn't process everything clearly. So she sat there, her face reddening with each second trying to comprehend what happened, staring at the woman in front of her with her mouth agape.

Eventually, her body settled on crying. Tears had begun to finally spew forth from the golden irises. Soi Fon had begun to panic and reached out to try and comfort her. Pulling her into a deep embrace. Yoruichi had slowly wrapped her arms around Soi Fon to pull her in closer and bury her head into Soi Fon's chest. Sobs wracking her body while she never felt happier than to hear the one she loves confessing. It lifted a huge weight off her shoulders as soon as Soi Fon hugged her lovingly.

Soi Fon herself was also surprised as well. Never in a thousand years did she ever think Yoruichi would love her back. Since she was young, Yoruichi never seemed reachable. It always seemed like her feelings would be ended by the hierarchical barrier that terminated any relationships with nobles. Yoruichi also never dropped any hints that she was romantically interested in the woman. She'd assumed that Yoruichi would never feel that way for her and relented to being a friend to her. Now, with Yoruichi in her arms crying, it seemed like a weird joke.

I never thought it would turn out like this. Soi Fon chuckled. I figured it would be me crying in her arms, not the other way around. She began to stroke the back of Yoruichi's hair softly, eliciting Yoruichi pulling Soi Fon in even closer than physically possible, almost crushing the woman with her hug. Her tears were still flowing but were starting to die down with each passing hair stroke and soft calming words.

They stayed there for moments. Letting the sun dip below the horizon with only the light from the fire illuminating them. Tonight was a perfect night. There was nary a cloud in the sky to hide the moon shifting into view. Obsidian blue skies birthed little white stars all along the vast expanse. The night was a cooling one too, perfect for both of the women who shared each other's warmth with the embrace.

"It's a lovely night tonight, Yoruichi-sama." Soi Fon spoke first, breaking the comfortable silence between them. She caught herself looking up at the darkened sky above them.

Convinced that Yoruichi had ceased her tears flowing, Soi Fon had begun to grab her attention by attempting to leave the embrace. A pair of hands strengthened their hold onto Soi Fon, prompting her to stay in place along with a small groan of protest ensured her stay.

"Not yet, Little Bee. It's too early to leave." Yoruichi lifted her head out and stared into Soi Fon's eyes lovingly. "I wanted to say something else too." She smiled innocently.

"What is it, Yoruichi-sama?" Now looking down into the eyes of the woman in her arms.

"I love you." Yoruichi spoke delicately, a content smile adorning her features. At the mention of the words, a small blush had adorned Yoruichi's face. She'd never uttered those words onto someone before, and it felt unnatural. With Soi Fon however, she really felt natural in those words. They didn't feel forced, nor said out of pity. It only felt perfect to say it to her.

Soi Fon said nothing but leaned in and kissed her again, once again taking the surprising dominant role. This too felt unnatural, all the other times she thought, if Yoruichi reciprocated her feelings, Yoruichi would start the kiss. Even now, being the dominant one felt strange, like roles are reversed.

This time, the kiss lasted longer. It began softly, with each lip merely touching oh so delicately. Within mere seconds it became more heated, the smaller woman being essentially smothered by Yoruichi. She had repositioned herself, this time she was the one looking down on Soi Fon, not breaking the kiss. Kissing wasn't a trade secret by Yoruichi unsurprisingly, but it was the first time she had kissed someone so passionately.

Oh no! I can't let this go on...Yoruichi sama! Soi Fon all but screamed. She could feel herself giving into the ferociously passionate kiss. Nothing could compare to how much she wanted to stay and let things continue, but she didn't want this to happen when she was still in her bathing suit.

"Yoruichi-sama!" Soi Fon squealed, breaking the kiss panting heavily.

"Mmm, yes Little Bee?" She said in a deep sultry tone.

"W-we can't do this here. It's too dark and I'm in this." Pointing to her outfit and accentuating her scantily clad self.

"It's perfect if I do say so myself, it makes things more of…ease." Yoruichi glared hungrily at her, licking her lips.

"At least let's get back to Sereitei first." Blushing wildly, and avoiding eye contact. She started to get up and attempted to put out the fire.

"Augh, okay." Yoruichi protested slightly while she also stood up and gathered the belongings.

They flash stepped quickly and rather quietly. It was still early in the night and they had to sneak into her private quarters for fear of anyone seeing them. This early in the night many shinigami patrolled the area and were itching to find anything out of the ordinary to inspect or even gossip about. They didn't want to have anyone spread any information about their secret relationship. Yet.

Within mere seconds of them arriving into the quarters, Yoruichi had closed the door rather loudly and locked it. Today has been a whirlwind of emotions. Just to think, yesterday, she hadn't come to terms with the fact that she loved Soi Fon. Now, in her private quarters with a locked door, there they were. She chuckled at the fact that things were moving quickly, too quickly in fact.

Maybe we should slow things down. I don't want to make Soi Fon feel like a one nighter. Yoruichi hummed in resolve. I want to ensure her feelings for me last. Walking over to Soi Fon who was storing her camping belongings, she walked up from behind and grabbed her waist and pulled her into a back hug.

"Hey Soi?" Yoruichi said as she relaxed herself at the feeling of contact.

"Yes, Yoruichi-sama?" Soi Fon felt confused with the random hug from behind.

"I love you, Soi Fon." Yoruichi said as she closed her eyes and breathed a sigh of relief, slightly blushing.

Soi Fon blushed madly again, it was the second time tonight she heard those words. It seemed like a dream come true hearing them from her Goddess. Even though things feel a little backwards, she's ultimately pleased with how things are turning out. Now, Soi Fon can finally have a shot at being happy with somebody of high importance in her life.

"I-I love you too, Yoruichi-sama." She finally replied.

"Now that we have that cleared up, what does that make us?" Yoruichi questioned happily, pulling away and looking into the stormy grey irises lovingly.

"Isn't it obvious? We're lovers, right?" Soi Fon exclaimed rather shyly.

Yoruichi tightened the hold on Soi Fon. Lovers!? Huh? I've never been called that before. She felt exhilarating, this was so exciting to Yoruichi. She'd never been this close to someone, much less someone she loved. It all felt foreign to her and she didn't want to waste any second of it.

"Mmm, I like that very much, my Little Lover." She said, teasing the captain.

"Yoruichi-sama…" Soi Fon looked down blushing. She turned around in Yoruichi's arms and began again. "Should we...continue what happened earlier?" She said very meekly, fidgeting in her embrace.

Yoruichi blushed a little and widened her eyes. "I don't think we should, not tonight. Afterall, it's too early." Letting go of the woman and averting her gaze too while bringing her arm to the back of her head and scratching.

Soi Fon breathed a sigh of relief and only agreed in response. Happy that it wasn't going to happen tonight, she turned on her heel and walked to the direction of her bathroom. Until she was stopped by Yoruichi grabbing her shoulder.

"Where are you going?" Gold eyes scanned grey with confusion.

"I'm a little tired tonight, Yoruichi-sama. I have an early captain's meeting in the morning and would like to prepare for that." She said calmly.

"Oh? Sleepy already? I guess I'll have to comfort you and stay the night. Afterall, I'm a little too tired to travel back to the human world." A smirking tease on her lips.

Being embraced in Soi Fon's arms held a whole new world of comfort, one where she almost fell asleep in had she not been snapped back to reality. She missed how lovingly delicate she was held and only wanted it more. It may be too early to do that, but it didn't seem too early to fall asleep together.

"A-alright, Yoruichi-sama. But please shower too, your clothes have a bad odor and it has really set in." Soi fon said before turning and heading for the bathroom, leaving a curious Yoruichi to smell her own outfit.

And that about wraps it up for this story. I like to end it on a rather fluffy note as the last chapter was kinda dramatic. It's my first story about these two and frankly I'm afraid I might have gone a little repetitive on this. Sorry about that, I don't have a beta reader so If there's any mistakes you see, then there's the reason. I'm sure I'll get better at writing the next one, when there is one. Cheers everybody.
