An eight-year-old Naruto Uzumaki was being chased by a mob of villagers as usual on his birthday October 10th. He was just out trying to celebrate his birthday for once, this time with his butler Shibuki Sarutobi. Shibuki Sarutobi is the second son of the Sandaime Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi and was the teammate of Naruto's late father Minato Namikaze aka the Yondaime Hokage. Yes, Naruto does know who his parents were after he overheard the old man and Shibuki talking or arguing about him and his parents. Afterward, the old man was forced to reveal the truth to Naruto included the business and the Manor that he now owns.
That where Naruto's been living with Shibuki, at first, he was shocked at the manor. But he was even more shocked when he found out that he was richer than all the clans in the village. When October 10th came around, they had gone out to celebrate like he had mention expect one of those stupid villagers spotted him. That's why he was running and keep on running. He then heard screams, but he didn't stop until he fell into a hole.
"AHHHH/NARUTO" he screamed, but also heard someone else screaming his name
When he fell to the bottom, he slowly got up and winced as it seems like one of his ankles were broken. That's when he notices that he was in a cave, he walks the best he can anyway to the only direction there is. When he goes further down the past, he can see a light. When he was almost to the light, his eyes widen as they all come his way.
"AHH" He screamed and ducked as they all flew past him
"I hate bats" Naruto yelled but turned when the light shined brighter
There's an orb, an orb that shines brighter and brighter as Naruto moves closer and closer. Naruto reached a handout and touch it, but when he touched the orb; it was like a memory seal was being unsealed as memories came flashing into his head. Naruto passes out on the ground.
Meanwhile back in the village, Sandaime Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi was enraged and so was his second son. He was doing paperwork, before going to meet with his son and Naruto; when Shibuki came running into his office. Shibuki told him a mob chased Naruto out of the place they were ordering food, Shibuki was busy ordering their food at the front so Naruto wouldn't hear. Hiruzen ordered all the shinobis that loved Naruto to find him and rescue him even if it means killing the civilians. He then ordered another set to find the people who leaked the fact that the Kyūbi was in Naruto in the first place, this time they push him too far.
Shibuki had told him that he was leaving to join the search while Izuna Haruno, his former teammates Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane were all led into the office. Izuna Haruno is the older sister to Kizashi Haruno, sister-in-law to Mebuki Haruno and Aunt to their daughter Sakura Haruno who had inherited most of her looks from Izuna.
"Leave us" Hiruzen ordered everyone and when he was alone with the three, he turned toward them
"Hiru- "Koharu started but stopped at the sight of Hiruzen's glare
"No Koharu, Homura, and you Haruno. This time I talk, and you will REASON" Hiruzen said/yelling at the end
Homura and Koharu both knew that allowing Izuna to leak the information about Uzumaki would have some consequences if Hiruzen finds out that it was them. But they thought they could only lay the blame on Izuna and not on themselves expect they were wrong. If Hiruzen ever did find out that they were involved, Hiruzen wouldn't kill them. But from the look in Hiruzen's eyes, they weren't so sure anymore.
"Time after time, you two went behind my back for the so-called good for the village and I've forgiven you two. I also remember very clearly Haruno that I've let you off with a warning not once but two times. No more, it's time this village needs to learn something the hard way." Hiruzen said darkly as ANBU appeared in the office
"Round up the villagers and Shinobis, take these three and follow me. NOW" Hiruzen ordered standing up and walking around his desk and toward the door
"Lord Sandaime, they found Uzumaki. Your son took him back to his manor" an ANU informed
"Good, go tell Shibuki that I will visit them after what I have to do," Hiruzen said kindly to the ANBU
Back with Sasuke and Naruto; Shibuki places Naruto in his bed, before leaving the room to find Kakashi Hatake sitting in the living room an ANBU. He had overheard that his father was having an announcement. Kakashi stood up and turned to Shibuki.
"I will go, you can stay- "
"I'm going, Naruto will be asleep for some time," Shibuki said, interrupted Kakashi
Shibuki turned toward the door to leave the mansion with Kakashi. When they got to the place, they normally go to for announcements; they stood with other shinobis with Shibuki standing with his brothers. Shibuki also can see that young ones and academy students aren't here just adults and fully-fledged shinobis Sasuke looked up to his father and sees that his former teammates and Izuna Haruno are being held still by ABNU
"Villagers of Konohagakure, on the day of the Kyūbi attack I had made laws concerning a certain boy, after a leak that out to all of you. Each year that very same boy, on his birthday is chased, beaten, and almost killed; when all he wanted is to celebrate his birthday. Each year I'm hoping that all of you would move on from your grief and grow up. This time, I'm here to remind you that I'm the HOKAGE, NOT THE COUNCIL." Hiruzen said and again yell at the end. He then gestured at the ANBU who were holding Izuna forward and then the other two were brought forward
"Izuna Haruno, now known as the person who leaks and started all this is accused as a traitor to Konohagakure along with those that help her and sadly are Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane who both are traitors as well. Let this remind all of you that even when the Nidaime Hokage created the council so that the civilians can be heard, THIS IS A SHINOBI VILLAGE. For the act of treason, I sentence all three of you to death." Hiruzen said
Shibuki and his brothers saw the ANBU carry out the sentence, they heard grasp everywhere. When Shibuki looks around he sees fear in all the villagers' eyes, even the shinobis that helped the villagers were now afraid. When the deed was done, Hiruzen turned back to the villagers.
"I will not stand for this any longer, I'm sure The Fire Daimyō will not stand for this. All of you better shaping up or else this will happen again and for all my "loyal" shinobis, I will be investigating each one of you. Dismissed" Hiruzen said as he turned his back
Shibuki can see his father glaring at someone, whom of which he can guess is Danzō Shimura. Shibuki turned to leave but stopped at the sight of Kizashi and Mebuki Haruno.
"I'm sorry Kizashi," Shibuki said
"Izuna was always a stubborn person and once she had an opinion, she sticks with it until someone puts a stop to it. Unfortunately, I couldn't do that" Kizashi said and tears fall down his face
"I'm not surprised"
"Mebuki," Kizashi said his eyes wide in shock at his wife who just rolled her eyes at him
"What you knew sooner or later something like this would happen, which is exactly why I didn't want Sakura near her. Truth hurts dear" Mebuki said
Shibuki had to agree with Mebuki who was Kushina Uzumaki's teammate and like Shibuki himself argued with his father about how he's letting Naruto suffer. Shibuki turned away and started walking back to the manor. When he had reached the mansion and enter, he saw Naruto whose eyes look like someone older and wiser.
