It's been four years since that incident since he gained memories of his past life or whatever life it was. Since the execution of two of the council members and who were also the Sandaime's former teammates. The third person to be executed was Izuna Haruno who was the sister and sister-in-law of Kizashi Haruno and Mebuki Haruno as well as the Aunt to Sakura Haruno. Four years since Jēmuzu Gōdon joined Konohagakure or Konoha for short. Jēmuzu Gōdon was a nukenin or in other words a Missing-nin, after being double-crossed and framed for something he didn't do.
The Sandaime had helped proved his innocence, but the trust he had with his former clan was gone and so when the Sandaime offered him a place in Konoha Jēmuzu accepted the offer. It's was, in fact, Jēmuzu who found him and took him back to Shibuki and the others. Afterward, when Naruto had woken up with Shibuki by his side, he met Jēmuzu for the first time. Jēmuzu had told Naruto that he could call him, Jēm. Right then, he realized that Jēmuzu Gōdon reminds him of someone from those memories and that person was James Gordon.
After that meeting, the Sandaime came to visit and he quickly notices that Naruto didn't call him Jiji. Naruto knew that he will be asked why, but then all the Sandaime wanted was to see that he was alright. Naruto left soon after that, but he did overhear that the Sandaime wanted Jēmuzu to be the captain of the rebuilt Konoha Military Police Force and he will be able to help who will be in the force. Naruto heard Jēm agree to that offer. So, since then Jēm was the captain of the new Konoha Military Police.
A few days after that, the Fire Daimyō had come to the village and asked to have a meeting with Naruto, which of course Naruto agreed. The Fire Daimyō had asked him if he wanted the village to know who his parents were. A part of Naruto wanted the villagers to know that the child they tried so hard to kill was, in fact, the son of their beloved Yondaime, but another part a wiser part knew his father had a lot of enemies. Enemies who might want to take their revenge out on him and so, he had to refuse the Fire Daimyō's offer until he grows stronger. The Fire Daimyō and those who were in the meeting with them were pleased with his answer.
So, from that point on Naruto continued living as Naruto Uzumaki and continued to go to the academy. The one thing that was also different from before was his outfit, no longer was he wearing an orange jumpsuit. He now wears a shinobi version of his bat suit from his other life with the bat symbol and all. Naruto was constantly annoyed by Ino Yamanaka, Sakura Haruno, and all the fangirls of Sasuke Uchiha pestering him about trying to be like their dear darling Sasuke. Things got a whole lot worse, when Naruto became the Rookie of the year, surpassing both Sasuke Uchiha and Neji Hyūga who was only a year older than he was.
A ten-year-old, which was exactly two years ago; he graduated from the academy and became a Genin. That enraged Sasuke Uchiha and to the point that he trained harder and harder to become a Genin. Neji Hyūga trained as well, but Naruto heard that Neji was a little troubled by the fact that Naruto the dead last had defied fate by graduating from the academy and at only ten years of age. Out of the two of them, Neji Hyūga was the next one to graduate the year later. Sasuke was surpassed once again, he also seemed to think that it's was planned by Naruto himself.
The Sandaime Hokage didn't even think that Naruto would pass so early and so, Naruto wasn't assigned to a team for now. Naruto told him that he won't have any sensei expect for Shibuki who had suggested Tsuyu Musasabi and Renge Senju. Naruto was not surprised at who Shibuki had suggested as the two were his friends, even before he had gained the memories. Tsuyu Musasabi and Renge Senju were already Genin as they already pass the academy at seven-year-old, well Renge did. Tsuyu's family moved to Konoha to escape something or someone, but Naruto knows that they are hiding something that's has something to do with Tsuyu.
Tsuyu also a thief and he knows she's the one who been stealing from anyone who had tried to kill him or call him names, but he never told anyone about her as there was always something about her that Naruto can't wrap his head around. Tsuyu seems to be like someone from his memories, but he can't figure it out as like him who look nothing alike to his past life Tsuyu look nothing like anyone from his memories. Tsuyu has bright red hair and green eyes, but her eyes remain him of a cat for some reason. She even wears a cat-like kunoichi outfit, she's bugging him, and he needs to know who she is. He also thinks Tsuyu knows what she doing to him as whenever she looks at him, she smirks.
Renge Senju is his childhood friend and the grandson of Tsunade Senju, Naruto doesn't know if he's got any connection to anyone from his memories like others of their friends do. Renge's shinobi outfit is what Shibuki has said to look like what Naruto's father had worn as a Genin. Naruto also finds it funny that all three of them are named after characters in a book made by Renge's maternal grandfather Jiraiya. Renge and Tsuyu also find this funny as well and proud in Tsuyu's case as her namesake has based off Tsunade herself.
"Naruto" Naruto looks over at the Sandaime as he calls his name
"Naruto, Shibuki, and I agree that you will be in a team with Renge Senju and Tsuyu Musasabi with Shibuki as your sensei. You will be Team Seven" the Sandaime said to him
Team Seven, well that might give the Sandaime a hard time when it comes to a certain Hatake as Hatake wanted to be Team Seven leader as he was in the old Team Seven. Naruto also knows that Hatake wanted him to be on the team with Uchiha and Haruno, but too bad he had graduated before those two.
"Now go and find your teammates, ANBU call up everyone on that list." the Sandaime said to Naruto and Shibuki, before turning to an ANBU
Shibuki and Naruto both nodded and left the office to find both Renge and Tsuyu. Naruto and Shibuki walked toward his Manor as Naruto knows that they will be waiting for him and Shibuki. When they made it back to the Manor, Naruto sees them was indeed waiting for them. Renge stood up as they walked closer, but Tsuyu kept on sitting where she was and that was on a branch of a tree.
"So, are we a team?" Renge asks Naruto but was Shibuki who answers
"Indeed, you are Mr. Senju, you and Miss. Musasabi is in a team with Naruto here with me as your sensei." Shibuki said to Renge
"What number are we?" Tsuyu asks, from the tree
"Team Seven" Naruto simply said as he knew Tsuyu for some reason got a hatred for Kakashi Hatake and loves it when things don't go his way
Meanwhile back in the Sandaime's office, the Jōnin Kakashi Hatake, Asuma Sarutobi and Kurenai Yūhi were all in the office looking through the crystal ball at the academy where all the academy students were taking the exam yet again. It's seemed all the students pass the exam. The Sandaime turned his attention to the Jōnin.
"Alright, let here you all picks," the Sandaime said and Kakashi walked forward
"Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and Naruto Uzumaki- "Kakashi was interrupted by the Sandaime who put his hand up.
"Naruto Uzumaki is already on Team Seven with Renge Senju and Tsuyu Musasabi. My son Shibuki is their sensei." the Sandaime said
"What? Team Seven? Lord Sandaime- "Kakashi started until the Sandaime once again holds up a hand
"Hatake, pick another third member or I will. Shibuki is the leader of Team Seven, deal with it or I will send you back to the Academy." the Sandaime warned
Asuma looks at Kakashi in amusement, he knew that Kakashi wanted both Uchiha and Naruto because of Obito Uchiha and Naruto's father Minato Namikaze. But he knew that his brother would be Naruto's sensei and not Kakashi as even Naruto knew why Kakashi wanted him in the first place. Maybe in another life, Kakashi would've gotten Naruto on his team and have that team as Team Seven.
