The lab had been a hub of activity for a few days now. Between the automated system fixing and outfitting the robot that the good doctor had found in this dimension and his own research on the data one of the Scouts had managed to pilfer from the little foxes own lab. The truth was that the good doctor hadn't expected something as bountiful as this to pop up. The decoding system on his own computer had managed to deduce that the code was built in a way that allowed an automaton to copy and effectively use any ability it had witnessed. He admitted that testing would have to be done in order to see the full capability of this astonishing technology.

More fascinating still was the automaton the Scouts had found on some nearby beach. What was left of it heavily resembled the blue creature he had been keeping an eye on over the last couple of months. Going through the memory of the robot had revealed quite a bit about some of this dimension's inhabitants. He had copied the memories for his own research and opted to delete it from the blue robot's. It's own memories gave away that it's main objective protocol had caused too many issues and some form of pseudo-freewill within it in the past. That would be entirely too problematic for the plan the good doctor had been formulating over the past few days.

The lights surrounding the good doctor's workstation flickered. He stood up and placed the goggles on the desk. He placed his lab coat on the coat rack by the door and exited the lab making sure to lock it up with the proper seals, a bright blue sigil forming on the door to signify that he had done it correctly.

He scratched at the black scruff on his chin as he walked down the hall and took a deep breath before opening the door at the end of it. A relatively tall man with shoulder length blonde hair stood in the doorway. The amount of dirt and grime on his fitted jeans and grey-button down shirt made it clear he had just arrived from a mission, or at the very least was rolling around in the mud.

"Here for an update, Arkin," the young man said casually. "Boss Lady needs that info, dude."

Arkin felt a vein begin to throb in his temple. Of all the people that had to be sent it was this annoying fool. He was actually wondering if Alarica was doing this as a way to purposely annoy him. Ignatius was entirely too aloof for Arkin's taste. Especially with how he handled sensitive information.

"You tell Alarica I have it under control," Arkin insisted with as much professionalism as he could muster.

Ignatius whistled at Arkin's strained politeness.

"You sure about that?" Ignatius asked. "I mean not to be that guy, but you have been working on multiple projects over the course of the last few months. In fact your last update stated that the current one was taking time away from the main goal. You are in a pocket dimension where time means nearly nothing and you have unlimited amounts of power for all your techno-whatits and doo-dads. Yet here you are admitting that your time is preoccupied by… what was it exactly?"

"An android of sorts," Arkin said. "Rather one with potential for which we could use to further the power of our own forces."

Ignatius nodded slowly and rubbed at his chin in thought.

"Meaning?" he asked.

"Meaning that once the android is fixed and I get a few new components added into it, I can release it back into its own world with the new programming I've installed. Tell Alarica that the data I collect within the coming days will be most beneficial to our goals."

Ignatius tapped his temple. "Right, got it. Beneficial. Okay that's fine and dandy but anything we can use right now?"

Arkin's lips slowly formed a mad grin. "Tell her that if my hypothesis is correct then the data I gain will not only strengthen our forces, but be more than a match for the army that he seems to be attempting to build up."

Ignatius raised a brow, now seeming intrigued by this. That was after all a pretty big claim to make. Especially after the way things had been turning out of late.

"What makes this experiment different from your last one?" he asked Arkin.

Arkin scoffed and moved to the side. He would regret this choice of action and he knew it, but all things considered this wasn't exactly the time to let comfort get in the way of facts. He motioned for Ignatius to enter and removed the seal on the entrance to the lab.

"Why not see for yourself?" Arkin said quietly.

"The android?"

"Not just that, but also the results. No better experience than first hand after all. Besides, you may be useful in this as well."
