Chapter 2: truth
Hours later… po awoke from his slumber he tried to remember what had happened two him. Then it hit him like a stroke of lightning the princess he thought to himself. But suddenly he was interrupted from his thoughts by castaspella who came barging in to his ce… wait a minute how the hell is this a prison cell he thought to himself. He then looked back to castaspella who has Glimmer, Bow and adora next to her.
"this is a truth spell you cannot lie whilst you are effected by this spell" she spoke with a serious tone.
Po only nodded back not wanting to speak. Glimmer questions him first "why have you come to brightmoon?"
po was forced to answer " I have come to brightmoon because I need you and the princess help "
bow spoke up next " and what do you need help with?"
po took a second to answer "killing all of the horde"
After the shock factor of what potestas had ask of them they followed up with some more questions like what's your name? and why would you want to kill all of the horde? The big daddy of questions was asked by adora "what was with the red eyes?"
po really didn't want to answer that because it hurt him to do so. But he had too not just because of the truth spell but he needed they trust so they could help him with his revenge. So he awnserd "they red eyes are a side effect of my princes power I have"
castaspella asked next "and what is your power?"
po sighed and continued on " my power is something that enhances my strength, agility and speed a side effect of it, is that it changes my eye colour from green to red " they all seemed shocked by this.
"okay one last question why did you seem so angry when fighting us early" Glimmer asked.
"my power can only be activated by negative emotions for example anger, sadness or fear for example" po exclaimed
"okay that's enough question today you three all need to get going on your quest don't you think?" castaspella said
"oh yeah totally forgot about that lets go guys" bow exclaimed. Glimmer and adora look at each other and then back to po like having a silent conversation. Po just stared back at then mentally telling them to fuck off. And so they did they left along with castaspella and po was with his thoughts again.
Fuck me how long does this quest take po was getting more and more angry by the minute. Trying not to lose control and let it take over him then the best friend squared enter the sorry excuse for a cell
glimmer spoke up first "we have asked the other princess if we should help you or not"
bow followed him up saying "they say we should help you and we 3 agree with them."
Adora finished with "but on one condition you can not kill any of the horde members"
Po seemed puzzled by this even angry, questioning them inside his head by he huffed out a "fine"
"well with all this sorted out let's get you to you room" bow said while lowering the force field
On the other hand, Glimmer and Adora still looked sceptical of they new found ally, sill not quite sure they trust that he wont kill any horde solders.
Whilst on they way to pos new room, when they get a good distance away from the two thinking girls Bow stops Po in the middle of the corridor
"I still don't trust you , if you hurt any of my friends in any way I will be the first to send you far away from here so you don't hurt anyone any more " Bow says in a serious tone.
Po could tell Bow meant every word but brushed what he said aside by saying " okay archer boy why don't you get out of my face so I don't have to do it for you"
Bow just stares back at Po not taking this threat lightly "oh yeah why don't you go fu..."
Before Bow could finish his comeback the other two of the best friend squad arrived " is everything alright Bow" asked Glimmer
Bow took a second still got his eyes on pos "yeah everything is a ok Glimmer just answering a question our new friend had here about his new living arrangements" Bow responded
All four walked to Pos new room in a very awkward silence only Adora and Glimmer giving small glances together like they were communicating telepathically to each other. After what seemed like hours, they finally arrived to Pos room then Glimmer spoke up
"so, Po this is your room if you need anything else just let one of know oh and before I forget breakfast is at 8:30 if you need help getting there ask one of the guards for help"
"okay I will you don't have to worry about me" Po responded back to her. Before Glimmer could say something different, she was asked away by one of the guards to come for a meeting bow also joined Glimmer as well.
But as for Adora something was on her mind still about Po so she asked " Po why do you not like the princess very much?"
Po looked at her surprised that she didn't know why he didn't like the princess very much he responded in a annoyed tone "because you made a promise and you didn't keep it"
Still not satisfied with what she got she continued on "but that doesn't explain any…"
Po interrupted her not wanting to continue this conversation "goodnight She-ra" he quickly said whist slamming his new rooms door in her face
Adora just looked shocked at what had just occurred and wanted to press further but didn't because she didn't want Po to get angry with her and use his power, so she left him to his room
In his new room Po was trying not to break down crying. Today was tuff on the young man and he needed some rest. He needed a break from life. But before that break he needed to finish the horde and get his revenge for his sake but most importantly his family's sake. And he will do it anyways necessary.
