18- Neville POV
I didn't really want to leave him, but he reassured me over and over that he was fine. I left Harry at the entrance to the common room. I waited, watching him, but he smiled and swung his bag over his shoulder, heading off to charms.
I sighed. He didn't want to go to Pomfrey, and I wouldn't make him, but I knew he wasn't stable. We couldn't keep this oscillating up forever. One day, one of us wouldn't be there in time to push him back in the right direction.
I waited, watching for him to return back to the dormitory and go back to bed. When he never appeared back around the corner, I turned on my heel and left.
It was freezing on my way to Herbology, and as hard as the wind blew, it couldn't shake the feeling that I'd made a mistake.
