20- Draco POV

I knew it was his bag when I saw it, though I couldn't say how I knew it was his. A pit opened up in my stomach, weighing me down, making me feel as if I was going in slow motion as I saw the halls rushing past.

I was out on the grounds, but I knew he was already in the air. There was nothing I could do to get him down, short of hoping I could hit him with some spell. Any spell. Right now, my mind was blank.

I could see the pitch. I couldn't pull a breath. I could see him flying. I couldn't feel my hands. I could see him spiralling. I couldn't find my wand. I could see him plummeting.

I couldn't find my wand.
