Author's note:I wrote this fic out of frustration for not finding a particular fic anymore on a website where I used to read it (the one Blue talks about at the beginning)This is a fanfiction, I don't own any of the characters, or games/other stuff I quoted in the story. Please note English is not my mother tongue, so errors might occur (even if I double check each chapter carefully)Enjoy :)

- So fucking boring... grumbled Gold. Blue, ain't nobody to bully today?

His neighbour stayed concentrated on her phone, mumbling a "wait" which made Gold sigh. Their teacher was absent, and Gold was playing with his goggles, making them turn around his finger. Blue usually was the first to find a way to bully one of their friends from the shooting, but she only spent time on her phone lately.

- What the heck are you doing anyway? Asked Gold while bending over her shoulder.

- Looking for a fanfic about a king's game with shippings awfully intrersting, I thought we could display extracts on school boards and on Facebook to annoy them, but I can't seem to find it even though I read it some months ago, might have been erased, it's been three days that I'm looking for it...

- Err, I don't get anything that you just said. Let's say the rest isn't relevant, what's a king's game anyway? Asked Gold with a really bored look as he opened another button of his collar, his tie already on his desk.

- A game where players pick randomly from a bunch of sticks, answered Blue without looking up from her phone. On the hidden part of the stick there's a number or a crown. Whoever has the crown gets to order two numbers, without knowing who it is, and the two must obey his orders or they lose the game.

- But... that's soooooo interesting ! Shouted the boy, his lips stretching to form a mischevious smile.

- Yeah, and in the fic, the character setting up the game uses a Clefairy with Lilliput to cheat, making the players pick orders already written on paper inside a box.

- So it goes from random to planned torture ? Awesome... but even in the series I don't have a Clefairy, or any Pokémon with Lilliput capacity, my character prefers making them learn direct attack capacities... but yours got those, right, Blue ? Smirked Gold.

- Of course ! Just let me get my synthesis team from the shooting to real world... Oh wait. Just kidding. Well, even if we actually could do that, the others wouldn't let me do it anyway. I have to find something else... sighed Blue as she finally put down her phone.

Gold had a mocking smile as he saw her wallpaper was a selfie she forced on Green, vice president of student council, taciturn and famous for being

untouchable, that she followed and stalked with obvious pleasure. He checked the presence of his own phone, well hidden in his jeans pocket, he wouldn't show his wallpaper to anyone, even under torture, as he stole a picture from the student council president without her knowing, with risks as high as her kick's strengh and her seriousness. Also, he had a delinquant reputation to keep so that most students would leave him alone, he couldn't allow himself to be associated with a girl with her degree of seriousness and dedication to school rules. Then, an idea pulled up Blue's lips.

- You know about strip-poker right ? She asked with a charming look.

- 'Course, but I wouldn't bet on...

- No, adapting it to something else... and editing rules so that they would accept the game...

- Hum, they could choose what they wish to give up, thought Gold.

- How so ?

- Well, either a thing they don't touch until the end of the party, a secret, a cloth, or their dignity if they choose to obey from an order... something like that.

- Hey... that's almost brilliant, remarked Blue.

- Hey, you thought I was a vegetable or what ?! Cried Gold, offended.

- Almost dear, but we can't play cards, even the most serious of them don't play cards because it's an elderly thing...

- What about an easy video game ? Offered Gold, not telling that himself played cards on a regular basis.

- A Mario Kart Truth or Dare, answered Blue with a smile bigger than her face. That's perfect, a game anyone has played once in their lives, but could be difficult against someone who plays well. That would put them at ease.

- We would need more than one console, with as many game cards, we need to install it as to play in lan mode with a router if we wanna play all at the same time.

- Now you're the one who lost me, what's a lan ?

- A process in which you plug all the machines together, computers or consoles, to play together on a local network. Simply said, without internet connection, concluded Gold as he saw her lost gaze. Because we can only play up to four players on each console.

- Eeeeeeh, okay, then I leave the technical details to you, I have a Switch at home with the game, we just have to find the other and we'll do that eight by eight, we should be... Oh shoot, Black, Rakutsu, Faitsu and White are in their school trip with Sun, Moon, Hekcs and Whai, so we won't count them... well, first Green, Red, Yellow, Ruby, Krys, Sapphire... oh maybe also the rest of student council, you know Platina, Pearl and Diamond, they seemed fun too when I saw them to on the shooting! So we should be... eleven. Yuck, odd number. Oh, I almost forgot Silver!

Gold growled. He didn't like Blue's little brother, and himself returned the favour, more so he was often working with the student council, spending too much time with them (and with HER) to Gold's taste. He nodded, mumbling that he would take the second console with assorted game and stuff, but they would need two TVs with corresponding plugs, Blue answered she would ask Ruby to lend his house for the party, as it would be big enough to have the actual party, enough stuff and space to play, and rooms to let them sleep in. But it would mean explaining some of their project to him because he wouldn't accept freely, even though they wanted it to be a suprise, but she already had arguments to convince him. That fashion maniac would do anything for a possibility to give ordrers or a challenge to Sapphire. Blue typed quickly on her phone to send a message to Ruby, and relaxed as she prepared her stuff for the English lesson coming up. Gold was really impatient to get to the party already, and even made the effor to put back his tie, even if the knot was too far from his uniform's collar to make him look like a good student. He almost took out his phone to play with it, but decided otherwise and took out an old Game Boy Pocket instead, turning it on to play Tetris.

The teacher got inside the classroom right after that and asked him to put away his console before she confiscated it, in English. He didn't get most of what she said, but decided to put it out anyway, picking up his notebook before he began to play with his pen, twirling it between his fingers stylishly under Blue's amused stare as she was still typing on her phone under the desk without looking at it, peeking only from times to times to check what she wrote. Then she put down the phone under her skirt (Gold knew she had some kind of a phone holster around her thight because, as an occasionnal thief, she didn't trust pockets) and paid attention to the lesson, shooting on Gold's chair at times to wake him up. When the teacher gave them homework, the bell rang for lunch break and Gold shot out of the classroom with his lunch bag, followed closely by Blue. They met Ruby just before going upstairs and he began to whisper with Blue as Sapphire called out to Gold while catching up to him, beginning a loud conversation about a new game without caring if she spoiled the end to other students passing by.

Blue and Ruby guided them up to the rooftop and settled down next to the fence to spy on the other students on the ground. Gold smirked as he saw a teacher reprimand Silver who was hiding in a bush, then turned his head as he heard the rooftop door open again. He almost spat out his mouthful of sandwich as he saw people from the student council walking right to them, guided by Yellow as Ruby andBlue motionned them to come over. Red, student council's secretary, always followed Yellow everywhere, shooting murderous glares to anyone approaching her and denying any relationship or even attraction to the petite girl.

Gold shot a glance to the newcomers, his eyes stopping by reflex on the tall girl closing the door behind her, wearing the school uniform with her skirt right above her knees. She was the only one in school who didn't shorten it. She wore the knitted sleeveless sweater over her short-sleeved shirt and her president blue and sliver striped tie was perfectly adjusted. Her dark ponytails had a blue shade in the sunlight, as he noticed the year before, and he met her clear gaze before averting his eyes to bit in his sandwich, hoping she was the only one who caught him staring. She wouldn't say anything, believing he was preparing his next delinquent activity. Blue and Sapphire moved to let the others settle down, and Gold closed his eyes, mentally crossing fingers without knowing if he wanted her to sit with him or not. A scent he knew too well tickled his nose, and Gold growled.

- I know you don't like it, hissed Krystal right on his left, but Ruby wanted to eat with Sapphire AND us, so please bear with me.

- Whatever you say, super serious gal, mumbled Gold without looking at her.

- Don't call me that ! Whispered his neighbour between her teeth.

Gold smiled to her reaction and uncapped his soda before drinking some, thinking she was his very own curse. He put it down before closing it, and inserted himself in the conversation between Red and Sapphire about and old video game, relaxing a bit as he tried to forget Krystal's presence while she ate silently next to him. Blue and Ruby giggled in front of him, then the dark haired boy cleared his throat to get his friends' attention.

- I like how we are together right now, we could throw a party saturday night at home, I have rooms for everybody so you would be able to sleep over, we could play games together and stuff, wouldn't it be nice ?

Red and Sapphire agreed immediately, followed closely by Yellow, Krystal who said she couldn't let Yellow go by herself, Green grumbling that he would see if he had time for them, and Gold simply told them he would beat all of them at whatever game they played. Krystal left out a sight he was the only one to hear, and he stared intently at Blue's empty bento, wondering why she did. Did she not want him to come? Or was she relieved he would be there? He was going crazy with all these questions, these days he purposefully avoided her because his mind would make him think too much, leaving him dead tired too early in the evening. He yawned openly and closed his eyes, letting his back rest on the fence as he sighed. Blue saw him fall asleep with a tiny smile, and whispered something to Green who only answered "pesky girl" without trying to stop her.

- Krys, chirped Blue, isn't this Gold's soda you're drinking?

Krystal coughed on the drink she had taken without thinking and put down the bottle in front of Gold as she dried her mouth furtively with her handkerchief. He was still sleeping, and she seemed relieved he didn't see her mistake. Sapphire tried to shake him awake, but he slept soundly and she only unbalanced him. He growled in his sleep, and fell softly on Krystal's shoulder, making her go stiff in a split second.

- Ah, sorry Krys, Imma wake 'im up, laughed Sapphire as she got closer.

- No! Answered said girl, managing to shout while whispering. If you wake him up when he's on me, I won't hear the end of it anytime soon... I'll move him little by little and let him sleep until the bell rings, you can begin to go if you have things to do before going to class, I'll catch up.

- Are you sure ? Asked Yellow with a caring tone.

- Don't worry about me, it he wakes up, I don't want any witness telling anyone I kicked him to death, laughed Krystal.

- All right, see you later then, said Yellow. We'll meet on council room after class.

She got up, initiating the departure, and Blue took advantage of the movements to take a shot of Krystal and Gold without the girl noticing as she was giving instructions to Green who was in her class. Blue shadowed the boy, waving to the stuck student council president before closing the door behind her. Krystal sighed heavily, then turned her head, staring intently at her too close neighbour. Asleep, he didn't look that much as a delinquent, his golden eyes with his wild stare did the most of his looks, if she went past his unkempt attire and unruly black hair. She moved her hand, curious, and after checking that no one could see her, she slipped her fingers right into the thick lock falling on his face. She blushed madly, mentally insulting herself with all the swearing she knew of, and retracted her hand. She waited until her breathing went back to normal, not used to have this kind of temptation or reaction towards someone. Then she tried to push him gently. He didn't move a millimeter, so she pushed harder, but he was bent towards her, so all his weight was pushed to her. Krystal didn't want to get up and make him fall as he did nothing to deserve that treatment, and tried to push him again, until she eventually shook him. He growled, making her stop, then breathed in slowly. A perfectly innocent smile crept on his face and he moved in his sleep to get closer to her. Panicked, Krystal took back the control of her own body when his nose touched her neck, and pushed him forward. He slumped on her knees as she passed through another mad blush, and lifted his hand groggily to rub his eyes.

- This dream's usually more pleasant, mumbled Gold before turning his face to Krystal's stomach.

He breathed in fully, then froze as he felt something was wrong. He opened his eyes again, perfectly awake this time, and turned his head to see Krystal bright red, close to blowing the biggest fuse of her life. He shot up standing, white as a sheet and began to sweat, wondering how he went from a lunch with friends to a nap on the student council president. She had her head low, her ears were bright red, and avoided his gaze as she stood slowly, smoothing our her skirt thoroughly without ever looking towards him.

- Pick up your stuff and go back to class, the bell is going to ring. Don't even think about ditching, I'll know it.

Then she bolted through the door and went down the stairs without looking back, leaving Gold in the greatest confusion state ever. He slipped his hand in his pocket, wondering if he could have stolen another picture, and saw he had a new message from Blue. "You owe me one, but I'll be mute as a corpse, no one will ever know, I'm the only one who knows". He wondered what she meant, sending the delivery confirmation, when she sent a picture. His face flushed as he opened the pic, showing him sleeping comfortably on Krystal's shoulder, a small smile on his face while she seemed to be talking with someone outside the picture without a care in the world. He saved immediately the pic into his special folder and sent a simple "coming" to reply her text, picking up his sandwich paper and soda... Which seemed strangely lighter?

Slipping his phone back into his pocket, he drank the rest of the soda before going down the stars, smelling a familiar scent on the bottle without knowing whose it was. He shrugged, certain that Blue would have the answer to that, and prepared himself to confront the legendary blackmail of his best friend as he entered the classroom just when the second bell rang.
