Welcome to the world of Pokemon!
This world is filled with magical creatures that are known as Pokemon. Pokemon are marvelous and amazing creatures that inhabit this world's skies, forests, deserts, and oceans. If there's a biome on this planet, then Pokemon live there. They possess fantastic and spectacular powers by harnessing the energy that all living creatures possess known as aura. Some have remained secret to all but a select few, while others have become the stuff of legend and there are those that been born of our dreams. Like Pokemon themselves these tales have withstood the tests of time. There are hundreds of Pokemon that make up the Pokemon world, but they don't inhabit it alone.
Humans and Pokemon share this world and often come together as a team to better their lives. People capture Pokemon in devices called Pokeballs and together they form life-longs bonds as friends, partners and family. The people that bond with Pokemon are known as Pokemon Trainers. Trainers and Pokemon often go on journeys where they travel the world, discovering new information about themselves and well each other. Every day and every step brings new possibilities, new stories, new friendships and new adventures.
These teams of humans and Pokemon show themselves to the world at sporting competitions such as Pokemon Battles and Pokemon Contests. Combing strength, skill, wisdom, courage and trust these teams demonstrate to the world the Pokemon and humans can share the world in friendship, peace and harmony.
But the world is still a dangerous place. Harsh environments make it treacherous for humans to travel, wild Pokemon hunt and sometimes attack when defending their territory, and there are people with less than noble intentions that wish to use Pokemon for their own selfish purposes. Because of this humans that wish to go on journeys with their Pokemon are required to take a licensing exam in order to prove that they have what it takes to survive in harsh wilderness. Here in the Kanto Region the age where people are able to take this exam is 15 years old, but it can vary depending on ones home region.
This guidebook features extensive and in depth knowledge on the Kanto Region for new trainers that are just starting their adventures. Inside will feature key information that all trainers should know, recommendations for supplies and some history that will make one appreciate their journey just a little more. Pokemon fans take a read and good luck on your adventures.

This story is not really a story. It is more like my own Silmarillion (serious credit to anyone that understands that reference). There is no plot and no characters in this. Reading it is not necessary for my Pokemon story Adventurer and reading Adventurer is not necessary for understanding this work either. Updates will be extremely random and chapters will vary greatly on topic. If anyone finds anything in here useful for their own Pokemon story feel free to use it, I just ask that you direct readers to my story Adventurer. Although while not necessary I would appreciate a PM about using anything from here cause I'm curious about how useful to others people this thing is.
