Now our first battle in the storym, as well as who Kai is. Enjoy!

Down town, Shifu and the Furious Five were fighting against the enslaved masters on a roof. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie, Daisy, Max, Roxas, Lea, Naminé, Xion, Isa, Myde, Terra, Ven, Aqua, Oswald, and Ortensia, signature Keyblades in hand, rushed to the scene.

"Looks like they got those weird green guys." said Sora.

Suddenly, some Heartless spawned. There were Shadows, Water Cores, Large Bodies, and Wyverns. Strangely like the enslaved masters, they were jaded too. But unlike them, they still retained yellow eyes and their symbols were still black and red.

"Heartless!" exclaimed Goofy.

"But why do they look so… green?" asked Myde, confused.

"Doesn't matter. We still have to stop them!" said Isa.

The 20 Keyblade wielders joined Shifu and the Five on top of the roofs and began fighting the Heartless.

Po leaped into the air to join in.

"Enemies of justice! Prepare for—" Po trailed off when he saw one of the masters, who was a badger, looked at him. Po recognized him.

"Wha… Are you kidding me?! Whoa!" he exclaimed.

Po was so distracted that he crashed into the roof. Everyone fighting stopped for a moment to look at him.

"Ow!" Po sounded out.

The fight continued. Tigress backflipped while kicking the jade badger backwards, allowing Viper to wrap herself around it.

Sora and Riku fought against some Shadows together. Sora spun his Keyblade around before uppercutting one with it and blasted it with a Firaga spell. Riku double slashed a Shadow before he fired Blizzaga at it, freezing it in place before he and Sora side-kicked it into pieces.

"Even colored differently, they still fight the same." remarked Sora.

"Thank god for that." Riku said in agreement.

Kairi and Lea fought some jade-colored Water Cores on another roof. Kairi blasted a few with a Flower Shoot spell while Lea casted Fission Firaga at them. But one Warter Core knocked Destiny's Embrace out of Kairi's hand into the air. As Kairi jumped up to get it, Lea, summoned his chakrams, thew them at the Water Core, trapping it, and Kairi grabbed her Keyblade before destroying the Water Core with a Blizzaga spell.

"Xemnas said that the Heartless were usually colored black." said Lea. "He never mentioned that they could be any other color."

"That does seem strange." said Kairi.

Shortly after, Po climbed back up the roof. "What's the deal with the green guys?" he asked,

Tigress tried to punch one of the badgers, but ended up flinvign in pain as she shook her paw.

"Some kind of jade zombies." Tigress remarked.

"Jade zombies?" asked Po as Monkey landed near him.

"Jombies! Jinx!" the two said in unison before pointing at each other.

Monkey was then hit in the head with a jade bo staff. "Ow!" he muttered.

"Light!" Mickey shouted as he casted Perlza on a Large Body.

"Get some!" shouted Terra as he blasted a group of Shadows with a Triple Plasma spell.

"You're done!" shouted Roxas as he fired Icicle Mine on some Wyverns.

Seeing that Lea had used his weapons he received as a Nobody, Isa and Myde summoned their claymore and sitar.

"I call on the moon's pale light!" shouted Isa as a moonbeam struck a Large Body. Isa then blasted the Heartless with a Wateraza spell.

"Dance, water! Dance!" Myde shouted as he blasted water pillars at some Wyverns with his sitar. Myde then fired Tornado at them with his Keyblade, destroying them.

"They still use those weapons they got as Nobodies?" Viper asked Aqua.

"They do come in handy." said Aqua as she slashed away a Shadow. "Smae for Donald and Goofy."

And she was right. Donald had Centurion and Unbound in his grasps. He slashed away some Shadows before holding his staff up to a Large Body.

"Thundaga!" Donald shouted. The Thundaga spell completely destroyed the Large Body.

Goofy fired a series of Firaga spells with Royal Radiance before holding up Froze Pride.

"Take that!" Goofy shouted as he threw his shield like a Frisbee, knocking into several Heartless.

"Thanks dad!" called Max.

"Yeah, thanks Goofy!" called Ven.

Down on the ground, Li was watching worriedly. "Lotus, be careful!" he shouted to Po.

"It's ok, Dad. I do this every…" Po said before getting struck by the jade porcupine. Then, he saw Crane fighting the jade badgers.

"Whoa. I recognize these guys!" said Po.

"Who are they?" asked Naminé as she fended off some Water Cores.

"The master Badger Twins… with their crushing double gong technique!" Po said excitedly.

The Badgers hit him simultaneously into the roof.

"Yeah! That's the one." said Po.

Po then saw Shifu and Tigress fight the porcupine master.

"And that guy is... (gasps) No! Master Porcupine!"

Master Porcupine shot jade quill at Po, only for Monkey to deflect it back at the jade master.

"I thought he died a hundred years ago." Monkey said in confusion before getting Po back up.

"These guys are legends!" Po said excitedly.

"Then how the hell are they back from the dead?!" asked Donald as he bashed a Shadow in the head with his staff.

"Not the same way Maleficent and Magica brought Ansem, Xemnas, and Vanitas back to life, that's for sure." said Isa.

"And it isn't 'The Walking Dead' either." added Lea.

"That show went to crap." said Daisy.

"Maybe it's magic." said Minnie as she fired Perlza against a group of Wyverns.

"Sounds logical to me!" said Xion as she ducked from the badger Twins leaping at her.

Po brought a painter onto the roof.

"Get a quick sketch of us." Po said as he fought Porcupine for a moment and did a peace sign. The painter frantically drew a picture as the battle occured around them. Porcupine kicked Po in the face and jumped away.

"Did you get it? Did you get it?" Po asked as he ran up to the painter.

The painter, still shaking, showed him.

"Aw, I blinked." Po groaned. "Can we get another one?"

Porcupine suddenly pushed Po off the roof.

They crashed into Po's bedroom at Mr. Ping's noodle shop. "I'm being choked by Master Porcupine! This is so cool." Po fanboyed while being choked by the jombie. He then pulled a Porcupine action figure from the shelf. "Oh oh, look. It's you!" he said.

Shifu suddenly came in and pushed back Porcupine. "Po. Focus!" he said to the Dragon Warrior as he leaped at the jombie.

Downstairs, Mr. Ping was cutting a radish with an angry expression.

"'Message from the universe?' I'll give you a message from the universe…" Mr. Ping grunted as he furiously chopped gthr radish and threw the knife to the side. "Stay away from my son!" he said, folding his arms.

Po and Porcupine fell from above and continued fighting, much to Mr. Ping's surprise.

"Sorry, Dad! I'll clean it up later." Po said as he picked up a pan.

"Whoa, whoa, not my good pan!" Mr. Ping said as he took it away and handed Po a ladle. "Take this one."

Po shrugged as he fought back against the jombie masters, Tigress and Shifu helping him.

Li ran in. "Lotus, watch out!" he cried in worry.

Po fought against one of the Badgers, only for the ladle to break. He dodged a strike, causing a drawing of Po to be cut in half. Li gasped in fear.

"Watergaza!" came a voice.

The badger attacking Po was blasted by a Watergaza spell. Po looked up to see Sora leap down alongside Shifu, the Furious Five, and the other worldly-travellers.

"Thanks Sora!" said Po.

"No problem Po!" said Sora.

"Let's take it to the street before we accidently destroy the shop!" said Riku.

"Excellent idea Riku!" said Shifu.

Po, Tigress, and Mantis kicked Porcupine and the Badger twins out of the shop, right past Li.

"Stay with Mr. Ping, Li!" said Aqua as they ran out to the street to handle the jombies.

"Oh I hope they'll be ok." Li said worriedly.

"Don't worry about it." Lea said with a smirk. "Po knows how to fight really well. All of us do."

Lea than kung fu leaped over the entrance to join his friends.

"Do they really?" Li asked Mr. Ping.

Mr. Ping smirked. "They sure do. Po is a kung fu master after all." he replied.

Out in the street, the 20 world travelers and 8 kung fu masters from this worlds stood ready against the jombie masters and Heartless.

"Alright, let's go!" said Sora.

Sora, Riku, and Aqua started the battle firing orbs of light against Porcupine and the Badger twins, hurtling them back. They then slashed some Shadows with their Keyblades. Lea jumped into the air and blasted the Heartless with a Firaga Burst spell, knocking some of them into the air. Mickey, Terra, and Naminé jumped into the air and slashed them into Oblivion. Roxas casted Thunder Tracer from Two Become One on some Large Bodies as Minnie fired a Pulse Tracer spell to help him finish them off.

Ven and Kairi each launched Wateraza spells into some Wyverns, followed by Xion casting Ignite twice on some Water Cores. Goofy threw his shield at some Large Bodies, allowing Donald to cast a Triple Thundaga shot on them, killing them instantly. Daisy followed close behind them as she fired Perlza on a group of Shadows and Water Cores. Max slashed some Wyverns before he casted Mega Flare against them. Isa bashed his claymore into some Large Bodies before destroying them by firing a Triple Plasma spell. Myde used his sitar to hold some Wyverns in the air on water pillars before he destroyed them with an Exo Spark spell. Oswald slashed some Shadows before being surrounded by a group of eight of them. Oswald casted Transcendence on them, lifting the Heartless up into the air, allowing Ortensia to destroy them with a Raging Storm spell.

Po punched some Wyverns away before he spin-kicked a Shadow into a group of Water Cores. Tigress punched some Large Bodies roughly before she slashed some Water Cores with her claws, backicking one of them away as well. Viper wrapped herself around some Wyverns and threw them into some Large Bodies. She then used her tail to slam some Shadows into the ground. Crane flew around the Heartless while striking them with his talons, wings, beak, and hat. He then split-kicked two Water Cores before stabbing a Large Body with his beak. Mantis pounced onto some Wyverns grabbing onto them and throwing them into other Heartless with his strength. Monkey punched and kicked around the Heartless, sending them hurtling into the streets, walls, and to each other, even throwing them with his tail. Shifu spun his staff around as he bashed the Shadows and Water Cores before he sent hard punches to their faces and stabbed them as well.

Soon, all the Heartless were gone. But the jaded Porcupine and Badger twins had come back for more.

"The dead have risen again!" called Ven.

"Sock em!" shouted Max.

Tigress jumped over them and sucker-punched Porcupine into the air. Terra and Lea casted Aeroga spells at the Badger twins, sending them into the air as well.

The three jaded masters landed in Mr. Ping's shop, making said goose hide behind his counter and Li duck for cover just as everyone came back in.

"Dad, check out my Dumplings of Doom!" said Po as he stomped on a table with several bowls of dumplings.

Po used the bowls to casth the dumplings and quickly dumped them into his mouth.

"What's he doing?" Minnie asked in confusion.

"Snacking?" Myde asked in bemusement.

"Actually, it's effective." Crane said with a smirk.

As soon as Po stuffed his mouth with dumplings, Viper wrapped herself around his stomach. Tigress pulled Viper by her tail, making Po spit out the dumplings at the jaded masters like he was a gun.

"That's… new…" Riku remarked.

"But like Crane said, effective." shrugged Kairi.

"And helpful." added Sora.

The masters tried to block the dumplings, but they were too much. Some of the dumplings even flew into mr. Ping's kitchen, forcing the goose to duck for cover.

As soon as Po spat out the last dumplings, he Tigress, and Monkey charged forwards and pinned the masters down with their feet. Shifu, Monkey, Viper, Crane, and Mantis stood alongside them while Sora and Co. stood around them.

"Gotcha." skirmed Po.

No sooner did they pin the masters down, an evil, echoey laugh came out of the masters, much to everyone's shock.

Kai stood in an unknown area, his eyes glowing a bright jade color.

"I see you." he smirked.

"Your chi will soon be mine." he said, his voice coming out of the jaded masters, making everyone feel confused and uneasy.

"Ok…" Sora muttered in confusion.

"What the hell?" Lea asked.

"That's creepy." Aqua muttered.

"Is he talking to me?" asked Po.

"Which one? They're all talking." said Tigress.

"Whoa, you're right. That's so scary." Po saids in awe. "We should try that, too. Maybe it'd be scary back at them."

"Ok, but we gotta plan what we're gonna say first. Otherwise, it won't be scary, it'll be just stupid." said Mantis.

"True." nodded Goofy.

"We should try that too." Ven said to Terra, who smirked in amusement.

"It's not them talking, you idiots! It's me talking through them, Kai." came Kai's voice.

…

"Who?" all 27 of them asked in confused unison.

Kai rolled his eyes. "Ok ok, enough." he said as he swirled his hands.

The enslaved masters were suddenly converted back into jade pendants, which flew all the way back to him. Everyone, including Mr. Ping and Li, looked up in confusion.

"Did you see that? Did you see—?" stammered Po.

"Whoa, what just happened?" asked Mantis.

"Were those ghosts?" asked Donald.

"Not like Duckworth and Xero, that's for sure." said Goofy.

"This is really weird." said Naminé.

"Weider than usual." nodded Roxas.

"The green smoke just poof... and then poof!" Po said in shock. He turned to Shifu. "Sh—Shifu, what was that?'

"Kai. Kai. Kai…" Shifu muttered, before suddenly looking like he knew the answer until… "Nope. Never heard of him."

Back at the Jade Palace, Po, Shifu, and the Five were looking through the scrolls in the library to find out more about Kai. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Lea, Naminé, Xion, Isa, Terra, Aqua, Ven, Myde, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie, Daisy, Max, Oswald, and Ortensai stood around them as they looked.

"That's a lot of scrolls." said Myde.

"No kidding." said Sora.

"How come Oogway never mentioned a 'Kai' before?" Oswald asked Mickey.

"Beats me." the mouse king shrugged.

"Maybe it's something he doesn't like to remember." suggested Kairi.

"That is possible." Tigress nodded.

"Kai. Kai. Where is it? There's so much wisdom in here, I can't find anything." Shifu groaned as he searched one of the top shelves. He then picked up a jade scroll and beamed. "Yes!"

Shifu leaped down and stood in front of everyone.

"Behold. All the answers will be found within."

Shifu opened the jade container and took out the scroll. But when he unrolled it…

"What? It's blank?!" he exclaimed. "Are you kidding me?! Not again!" he groaned.

Sora, Riku, Lea, Donald, Daisy, oswald, Ortensia, Terra, Isa, Monkey, Tigress, and Crane facepalmed while everyone else groaned.

Then, Shifu noticed something. "Wait, wait. Hold on. Sorry. Oh ok, here we go." he said as he unrolled it, revealing writing and pictures on it.

Everyone moved around Shifu.

"It is written in Oogway's hand." Shifu told them.

"Then this will be interesting." said Roxas.

As Shifu read the scroll, Li and Mr. Ping stood nearby.

"'Long ago, I had a brother.'" began Shifu, taking everyone aback.

"Oogway had a brother?" Monkey exclaimed.

"First Mickey and now Master Oogway?" Mantis asked in shock.

Shifu then unrolled some more and quickly said, "'in arms. In arms.' Sorry. He says, 'Brother-in-arms.'"

"Oh ok." nodded Mickey.

"Can you just unroll it all at once?" asked Mantis.

Shifu just had a blank expression in response.

"What does that mean?" asked Xion.

"Brother-in-arms and sister-in-arms mean like you're so close to someone that they're like an older, younger, and/or same-age brother and sister to you." said Sora.

"Like all 20 of us." said Riku with a smile, which brought smiles on everyone's faces.

"Except me and Minnie since we're happily married." said Mickey.

"Same with me and Ortensia." added Oswald.

"And me and Daisy since we're engaged." added Donald.

"And me and Max since we're father and son." added Goofy.

"A True Blue Duo." smirked Max in agreement.

"Oh, so it's also like Po and the Furious Five." said Xion, making Po and the Five smile at each other.

"And Huey, Dewey, and Louie with Webby, Lena, and Violet." added Aqua.

As Shifu continued reading, we hear Oogway's voice.

"'I was an ambitious young warrior…'"

The scene cuts to 2D animation. The ink on the scroll becomes fluid, creating images as Oogway's words continue.

"…leading a great army."

A young Kai leaped from a cliff and stood next to Oogway in a pathway between the army.

"And fighting by my side was Kai. My closest friend."

Hundreds of arrows flew through the air.

"One day, we were ambushed. I was badly wounded."

Kai carried the wounded Oogway across a cliffside through a blizzard.

"My friend carried me for days… looking for help."

Kai then spotted green in the distance. It was a village in some mountains.

"Until we came to a secret village, high in the mountains. An ancient place of healing. A village of pandas."

Present:

Everyone gasped.

"Pandas?" asked Po.

"Yes, pandas." said Oogway's voice, breaking the 4th wall.

The scene cuts back to 2D animation, where we see some pandas dressed in Chinese robes and hats using chi like Shifu did to he flower.

"Pandas who used the power of chi to heal me."

Their chi helped Oogway feel better again as he glowed in a golden light.

"They taught me how to give chi."

Oogway was now learning how to do so as he stood in a line with the pandas, making blossoms appear on a tree.

"But Kai wanted the power all to himself."

We see Kai's eyes glow jade green, greed and desire plastered on his face.

"He learned from a strange individual that what could be given could also be taken."

Kai stood in front of a tall man in a black cloak with the hood up. (1)

Then, Kai ran up to three pandas, and his hands glowed jade green as one of them suddenly turned into a pendant.

Then out of nowhere, Oogway struck Kai off his feet with a powerful kick to the chest.

"I had to stop him."

Betrayal on Kai's face and hurt and regret on Oogway's the two clashed against each other multiple times until Oogway was the last one standing.

"Our battle shook the Earth. Until, finally, I banished Kai to the spirit realm. Should he ever return to the mortal realm, he can only be stopped…"

Present:

"'…by a Keyblade Master and a true master of chi.'" finished Shifu.

Everyone was silent.

"Well the Keyblade Master thing shouldn't be a problem." said Lea. "We got 20 in this very room."

"But that still leaves the master of chi." said Xion.

"True master of chi…?" Po muttered before pointing at Shifu. "Like you!" he said.

"Me?" Shifu asked in surprise. "I can barely make a flower bloom. I'd need at least thirty more years, and a cave."

"Oh for Odin's sake." groaned Ven.

"We need a chi master." said Viper.

"He will continue stealing the chi of masters until he has consumed it all." said Shifu.

"Do you think Kai's allied with Xehanort and his allies?" asked Kairi.

"After Tai Lung and Shen, there's no doubt that Xehanort would allow their assistance to him and vice-versa." said Isa.

"If that's the case, then he might come after warriors and fighters who aren't even masters but do have strong hearts." Aqua said worriedly.

"Now it's gone south." said Max.

Po snuck off from the group. He looked at the early parts of the scroll, taking notice of the ancient pandas that could teach chi.

"We have to make a way to stop him." said Viper.

"Or he'll get more and more powerful with every master he defeats!" said Crane worriedly.

"There is no choice. We fight." said Tigress.

Li noticed Po looking at the scroll. Then, he had an idea.

"I can teach you, son." he said to Po.

Mr. Ping gasped as everyone looked at Li in shock.

"You can do this?" Po asked.

Li smiled. "Well, of course. I'm a panda." he replied.

"That must be why the universe sent you here!" Po exclaimed. "Ok, so what do I have to do?" he asked.

"You have to come home with me." said Li, to everyone's shock.

"What?" Mr. Ping asked in shock.

"To the secret village?" asked Po.

"Yes, son. You must rediscover what it is to be a panda. You have to learn how to live like a panda. Sleep like a panda. Eat like a panda." explained Li before smirking. "Those 103 dumplings? Hmph... I was just warming up."

Po smiled happily. "I've always felt like I wasn't eating up to my full potential."

"You can't take Po away from me!" Mr. Ping protested, glaring at Li. "No no. I want a second opinion. Shifu, open another scroll or something."

"I think he should go." said Shifu, much to Mr. Ping's surprise.

"It should be easy for a panda like Po to learn chi since it was pandas who apparently discovered it." said Mickey.

"Fine. A third opinion." grunted Mr. ping as he looked back at everyone else. "Monkey? Viper? Tigress? Sora? Riku? Kairi?" he asked.

But everyone seemed to be against his wishes.

"Dad, you heard what Shifu said Oogway said." Po said to his adoptive father. "This guy can only be stopped by a master of chi. And I can only master chi by knowing who I really am. Well… I'm a panda."

Mr. Ping sighed. "I'll pack your lunch for the road." he said sadly as he walked out of the room.

The 20 world-travelers looked at Mr. Ping in sympathy.

"Poor Mr. Ping." said Naminé.

"If only he and Li could get along like Scott, Maggie, and Jim." Lea remarked, thinking about Scott Lang, his ex-wife Maggie, and her husband Jim, how their friendship with each other was funny and nice.

Shifu turned to the 20 world-travelers. "I believe it would be necessary if at least ½ of you went with Po and his father to the village while the rest of you stay here with me and the Five in case Kai comes." he said to them.

"Makes sense." nodded Terra. "But who goes and who stays?"

Then, Sora had an idea.

"Those of us that know kung fu can stay here. That way the Jade Palace will have more defences when Kai comes." Sora said to his friends. "Those of us that don't can come with me and Po. That way, while Po's learning how to master chi, me and him can train the rest in kung fu."

"That does sound like a decent idea, Sora." said Mickey.

"Sounds decent enough." said Lea.

"And scary." added Myde.

"But it might work." said Shifu.

Soon, Po and Li were gathering their things in the courtyard. Sora and Co. said a temporary farewell to each other.

"Take care Sora." said Kairi.

"I promise I will." said Sora as he and Kairi shared a small kiss.

"Take care buddy." Riku said with a smirk.

Sora smiled as he and Riku shared a brotherly hug.

"Good luck Isa." said Lea.

"You too Myde." added Roxas.

"Yeah, I'm gonna need an awful lot of it." Myde muttered.

"You'll be fine Myde." laughed Xion.

"Stay safe guys." said Isa.

"We'll try our best." said Naminé.

"Have fun you two!" said Ven.

"We'll try Ven." smirked Terra.

"Try to stay safe." said Aqua as the three shared a hug.

"Take good care Minnie." Mickey said to his wife.

"Oh I will Mickey. I promise." promised Minnie as she and Mickey shared a kiss.

"Don't worry Mickey." said Ortensia with a smile. "We'll all look out for one anitehr on this journey."

"You can count on his little bro." smiled Oswald as he and Mickey happily shared a hug.

"Please be safe Daisy." Donald said in a pleading tone as he and Daisy held hands.

Daisy smiled. "Don't worry Donald. I'll be fine. We all will."

Donald just smiled as he and Daisy embraced in a kiss.

"Take care son." said Goofy.

Max smiled. "Don't worry Dad." he said as he patted Goofy's shoulder. "We'll be just fine. Once we get back, we'll be a kung fu master just like you and the others."

Goofy chuckled as he and Max hugged.

"Everyoen ready?" asked Li.

"We are Li!" said Minnie.

"Alright, let's go." said Li.

With that said, Sora, Terra, Aqua, Isa, Myde, Minnie, Daisy, Max, Oswald, Ortensia, and Po followed Li down the stairs, beginning their journey to the secret panda village.

Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Roxas, Naminé, Xion, Lea, Ven, Shifu, and the Five looked from above on the Jade Palace.

"Do you really think Po and the world-travelers can master chi in time?" asked Viper.

"Doesn't matter what I think. It only matters what the universe thinks." said Shifu.

"So… that's a No?" asked Mantis.

Shifu frowned.

"Way to instill confidence." muttered Lea.

"Master, what are we going to do?" asked Crane.

Shifu turned to him. "You are going to find out where Kai is. Follow the trail of those jade creatures, but do not engage. For with every foe he faces, Kai becomes stronger." Shifu said to the avian master.

"Why me? Is it because I asked?" asked Crane.

"No, it is because you can fly. Go." Shifu replied.

"Should've kept your beak shut." laughed Mantis.

"And take Mantis." Shifu added out of nowhere.

"What?" mantis asked in shock. "Oh man, is it because I-?"

"Yes." nodded Shifu, making the others except for Mickey, Viper, and Tigress, snicker.

Mantis groaned as he leaped onto Crane's hat as the flying master flew off.

"Do you need us to follow them?" asked Ven.

"The less individuals doing missions like what they're doing, the better." Shifu replied.

In the throne room, Xehanort, Young Xehanort, Ansem, and Xemnas watched this all happen through Maleficent's magic with smirks on their faces.

"Oh you have no idea what kind of threat you're all up against." said Young Xehanort.

"Wasn't the wisest idea to split up." smirked Ansem.

"What's our next objective?" Xemnas asked Xehanort.

Xehanort just smirked. "Send out more creatures of darkness at the travelers going to the village." he replied. "As for those at the Jade Palace… let Kai have his fun…" he added with a dark gleam in his eyes.
