Pairings: Yuyaki x Ushimaru, Kumi x Misato

Author's Note: My first time writing about this team since New Link released another two members of Yuyaki's team. Hope I did well on it. Enjoy.

It's a pretty calm day for Team Tohno. Yuyaki has Ushimaru taking a nap on her lap while Kumi and Misato are laying back, watching television.

Yuyaki gently strokes her best friend's light orange hair, smiling sweetly. They needed a break from all the training and missions they did for the past week.

Kumi stretches out her arms. "Ahhhh, what a nice day! This is the life!"

"Yuyaki-san was kind enough to have all of us take a break. Although Nachi-san has gone off somewhere," Misato says. "Probably doing the same old thing."

"Yeah, I guess," Kumi shrugs. Then she stands up and pumps a fist. "Alright, let's make things interesting. Let's get the energy flowing~!"

Yuyaki looks up and gives them a stern look. "Hey...no messing up the room, okay?"

"Yuyaki-san's right!" Misato agrees. "We should keep it steady and be careful about what we do."

"Boooring~!" Kumi says. "I want some fun! Sitting around doing nothing is not enough for me~!"

"I didn't think you'd be bored that quickly," Misato says.

"Girls...if you want to...do something...crazy d-do it elsewhere," Yuyaki says.

But Kumi and Misato are too busy talking to each other, as their usual shenanigans are begining to emerge. Ushimaru moans softly and shuffles a little, snuggling herself against her best friend.

"You want to have a competition~?" Kumi offers and pumps a fist. "I'm on fire today~!"

"So am I!" Mistao jumps to her feet. "I'm not losing to you this time!"

"Please. Says the little tanuki girl who fails almost every game we play~" Kumi teases.

"Okay now you made me mad!" The brunette growls.

"Ummmm...g-girls...?" Yuyaki knows she can't through to them.

"Ha!" Kumi reveals her kitsune form, and holds various sharp weapons with her tails, plus holding one cleaver in her hand. "Then come at me, Misato! Give it all you have. Let's see if you can deflect each and every sharp weapon I throw at you!"

"Challenge accepted!" Misato pulls out her leaf-like fan.

"I-I told you..."

"Ready...set...!" Kumi says.

"GO!" Misato finishes.

Kumi starts chucking her knives, cleavers and daggers at Misato. The Tanuki ninja uses her leaf-like fan to deflect them and they end up sticking to various areas of the walls. Yuyaki quickly ducks at one almost coming at her. They're trying to wreck her house from their usual silliness. And she's had enough of it.

"Yu-chaaaaan?" Ushimaru notices Yuyaki gently setting her down, bangs hiding her expression as two swords appear behind her back.

"I...said...DO IT ELSEWHERE!" Yuyaki draws her swords and quickly gets between Kumi and Misato before they do anything else. Her Insane personality shows.

"Oh, lovely!" Kumi says. "I love some excitement~"

Insane Yuyaki turns to the kitsune. "I told you, but both of you never listened. You two need some discipline."

"Grrr...NOW look what you've done!" Misato shouts.

"Hey, you accepted my challenge remember~? You could always surrender like always." Kumi grins

"Shut up! Yuyaki-san will go on a rampage if we leave her like this!" Misato counters.

Both of them face Insane Yuyaki who prepares for battle. Kumi summons a small cleaver and spins around to slash Yuyaki, but the aggressive shinobi parries it and jumps in the air. Kumi does as well and the two clash blades. The kitsune turns around, summoning multiple blades on her tail and wags them one after the other to keep up with Insane Yuyaki's incredible slashing speed. While Insane is being distracted, Misato waves her fan, creating a gust of wind, hoping that it will get Insane off balance. It's a successful hit and Kumi manages to knock down Inane onto the floor. Kumi and Misato land on the floor and then spin around as soon as Insane tries to stand up. Their weapons collide with their leader's, knocking them out of her hands. Shortly after they hit the floor, Insane "tags out" immediately.

"Uuuuu…you girls are awful…" Yuyaki whines. "Why can't you just cooperate…?"

Kumi laughs and Misato bonks her on the head.

"We're so sorry!" the tanuki-like girl says. "We should've listened to you, mostly Kumi, but still. I should've taken Kumi outside if we were going to do that."

"Yes…" Yuyaki says, putting a hand on her hip. "Next time…just do that. No more of this nonsense…understand?"

"Understood!" Kumi and Misato say in unison.

Ushimaru gently tugs on Yuyaki's sleeve, looking up at her with her cute, big eyes. "Yu-chaaaan…I wanna go outside toooo…~!"

"Eh? What for?" Yuyaki asks.

"Fresh air…the breeeeze…I want us to spend time together…~" the bovine-like girl answers with a small smile.

"Well, why not~?" Kumi agrees. "I think Nachi is not going to be back for a while anyways. Unless we give her a call."

"Good idea! I'll do that right now," Misato says, whipping out her smartphone.

While the tanuki-like girl is calling, Yuyaki turns to her best friend, holding her hand with a small smile.

"Let's all go for a nice walk…shall we?" she says. "The fresh air will be….definitely nice."

"Absolutely~!" Ushimaru nuzzles her head against her best friend's arm. "You're the best, Yu-chaaaaan~!"

The shy tanned girl giggles and Misato gets off the phone.

"Nachi-san says it's okay and thanks for letting her know," she says. "Now then, let's head out~!"

"Race you to the park~!" Kumi says.

"Hey! No racing! I've had enough with competition for one day!" Misato shouts.

"She's right…" Yuyaki says. "What did i tell you about cooperating?"

"Ugh…fine." the kitsune sighs in defeat.

The four of them head out, two pairs holding each other's hands, Ushimaru with Yuyaki and Kumi with Misato. Yup, just another ordinary day with Team Tohno. And for Yuyaki, an ordinary wouldn't be the same without Kumi and Misato's silly bickering.
