DISCLAIMER: I do not own Sue Thomas FBeye or any of its characters, so if you recognize a person from this program or any other (I might put in a cameo here and there), know that I do not own them at all. All scenarios and people that you do not recognize, I own that, though they might be inspired from something else, but in no way is it copying them. If I am missing something in this copyright notice, please let me know!
KEY: Italics are a memory, and all caps is ASL. Sorry, some of my ASL grammar is bad. I only know some ASL, so if anyone knows how to properly say any sentences I write in ASL, please let me know, and I will change it to be how it should be!
NOTE: So I was listening to my music a while ago, and this song played. In that moment, I knew it would be so fun to do the exact thing Moriah and Joel did, imagine if they met when they were young. They turned it into a song. I turned it into a fanfic storyline. Again, bold italic is a dream, or in this case, a daydream. I guess I'm using that a lot lately, huh? It was sooo fun thinking of them when they were little. Oh, and I'm using the age reference I made a while back, since that's all I know. We know Sue's age, but not Jack's, and I figured it out as close as I could. So that's where I get the age reference from. If anyone figured out something different, let me know!
CONGRATULATIONS heather mcdaniels! You got it exactly right! Baby book!
TRIVIA: And here is the holiday that started it all. What do I mean?
?-? While Jacks in his daydream; LISTEN TO: the first part of I'll Wait For You by Moriah Peters
Jack sat at his desk, bored. He watched Sue as she worked, Sunny by her side. He sighed, smiling, thinking of his Valentine's day gift he had for her that Friday afternoon. It was Monday morning, and he had to wait 4 days. "4 days." He whispered to himself, hoping the time would go by quickly. "I wonder what it would be like if I met her long ago?" He then imagined what it would've been like if he did.
"Hi!" a 6-year-old Sue said, coming up to a 11-year-old Jack on the playground.
"Hi." Jack said.
"You wanna swing?" she asked, signing as she spoke.
Jack frowned, looking what she was doing. "What are you doing?"
She looked at her hands. "Oh, I'm Deaf. I know sign language."
"You're what?" Jack asked, making sure he heard her right.
"Deaf. I can read your lips."
"Oh." He said.
She waited for his answer to the previous question, but it never came, so she asked again. "So you want to?"
"To what?" he asked.
"Swing?"
"Oh, yeah! Sure!" he said as they happily bounded to the swings.
"Can you show me some signs?" he asked after they had swung a bit, then went down some of the slides.
"Sure! What do you want to know?"
Jack looked up in thought. "How about hello."
Sue showed him, and he copied her.
"What about dog?"
She showed him.
"What about my name?"
"I don't know your name. What is it?" she asked.
"Jack!" Connie exclaimed from the edge of the playground.
"That's it." He said, then remembered she couldn't hear. "Jack."
"Oh! OK." Sue said, then fingerspelled it, and he copied her letters.
"You wanna see my name?"
"Sure!" he said. She showed him.
"Jack! We have to go!" Connie said again.
He looked at his Mom, then turned to her. "I gotta go. Sorry."
Sue shrugged. "It's OK. Bye!" she waved as he ran to his Mom.
"Earth to Romeo." Myles said, waving his hand across Jack's face, which was staring at Sue.
Jack shook his head to get out of his daydream, then looked at him.
"I thought that when you would officially start dating her, you would get out of this, but I can see I was wrong." He frustratedly said.
"Huh?" he asked, completely oblivious.
Myles shook his head. "Never mind."
"Did you want something?" Jack asked him, who was already walking away.
He turned around. "No, not from you. I'll go to someone who's reliable."
"Now, what's that supposed to mean." Jack mumbled, going back to the paperwork he still had to do from their previous case.
?-?
Sue frowned at her computer. She was taking her lunch break and researching something while she ate her sandwich.
"What's wrong?" Mya asked as she walked past and got Sue's attention.
"Oh, I was looking at this item, reading the reviews, and found this weird review."
Mya frowned. "What kind of weird?"
"Here, look." Sue said, rolling away on her chair so that Mya could look at the review.
"Let's see," Mya mostly said to herself as she looked at Sue's computer screen. She then started reading. The review said;
TODAY I received the item. It IS an amazing thing, THE thing knows everything I need to do for the DAY. If I MEET my friend AT a restaurant in DULLES, it knows exactly what to do. I'm up in the AIR about if I should give them as gifts, but if I did, I'd need FOUR of them. PM me if you are interested in knowing more!
Mya frowned, reading the review. "What is this for?" she asked, looking at Sue.
"This." She scrolled up to show a ceramic figurine. "I figured I would get a head start on my Mom's birthday gift, and I saw this weird review. It was posted a few hours ago."
Mya stared at the review. "Hold on." She said as she grabbed a notepad and pen and started writing something down, her head going from the computer screen, to the notepad.
Sue watched as she wrote only the all uppercase words.
"Here." She said, handing Sue the paper. She read it aloud. "Today is the day. Meet at Dulles air four PM."
Multiple heads popped up from their work when they heard the message. Jack waved to get Sue's attention. "Where did you find this?" he said and signed.
She shrugged. "It was a review about an item."
"Do you think it means Dulles Airport?" Myles asked.
Jack nodded. "Tara, Mya, figure out who posted that review, and where they are."
"On it." Tara replied, already typing on her computer.
"I think we have our next case." Jack replied to Sue.
