Amagami SS is my favorite anime it was the first true romance anime I watched, with that, I have decided to try to create romance fanfic from scratch using the elements from Amagami SS, there will be multiple heroines in this story so this may take a long time to complete

Flashback to 3 months ago in the protagonist's point of view Kaito Watanabe

"I like you Nakamura-chan, please go out with me," I said as I confessed my love to Yui Nakamura, the nice girl, and someone I knew well, " I`m sorry Kaito-Kun, but I can`t return the same feelings to you, I`m in love with someone else and I didn`t have any feelings for you" she replied to which she quickly left and I stood there shocked as everyone around me was laughing at the fact that I had just been rejected, "wow, Watanabe-Kun got rejected again," said a female classmate, " well at least I`m not as miserable as him, let`s go babe," said a male classmate as he left with his girlfriend, "why, why does this always happen to me?" I thought as my two friends Akira-Kun and Mac-Kun tried to comfort me.

Back to Kaito`s POV in his room 7:20 am, the start of a new school semester

"Man, what time is it?" I thought as I looked at my alarm clock, "man I better get up, don`t wanna be late on the first day I thought as I got up and brushed my teeth, for those who don`t know me, my name is Kaito Watanabe, 17 years old about to become a junior, as shown in my flashback I have no luck with romance as every girl that I`ve confessed to has rejected me, I`m nothing special either just an average high school guy with no redeeming qualities, "man junior year already?", I thought as I washed my face and changed into my uniform before heading down to the dining room.

"Good morning," I said as my mother, father, and my older sister Hana and her husband Touma along with their two-year-old kid Makoto, "morning little bro," Hana said as I sat next to her and ate my breakfast which was just toast and scrambled eggs, just how I like it, "so Touma-Kun, our anniversary is coming up, what do you have planned?" Hana asked as she leaned onto Touma and both started talking like husband and wife just what I needed to hear this early in the morning, "you know you should hurry up and find a girlfriend, it gets tougher to find a girlfriend after high school, isn`t that right dear?" my father said to me, " oh of course, I still remember how we meet in high school, you confessed you love to me even though you were so nervous, ahh to be young again" my mother said as she chimed cheerfully, "geez, why does my family have to flirt with each other around me, "anyways, I`m gonna head out" I said as I finished my breakfast, "I`ll be home soon, Makoto-Kun" I said as I touched his cheek to which he laughed, at least that`ll keep me positive I said as I left the house.

Subway Station

"Another crap day," I thought as I waited at the train station while listening to tunes from my I-phone, "maybe this year will be different, I thought as I waited, "ahh, who am I kidding, nothing ever changes" as well my youth hasn`t exactly been the best to which my thought was cut off as my train arrived.

Hachimustu Academy

"Well, it`s time to get back into work mode," I thought as I walked up to the gate where I saw my two friends waiting for me, "hey Kaito-Kun," said my two friends, Akira Suzuki, a friend of mine since we were toddlers and Mac Jones, our friend who transferred here from America last year, "yo Akira-Kun, Mac-Kun, good to see you guys," I said as I walked up to them and we high fived each other while talking about how our summers went as we checked our class assignments, "it`s lit, we`re all in the same class again," Mac said as we were all relieved that we were together again.

In the hallway

"So how was your summer?" I asked Akira, "spent some time with my girlfriend, went on a trip with her to a resort" Akira replied, "wow, I could relate to that, my girl wanted me to hang out with her more so I took her out dancing one night" Mac added as both and him Akira laughed, "what about you?" Mac asked me, "what do you think, I spent my summer alone playing video games and working a job, so no my summer wasn`t as enjoyable as you guys had it" I replied sounding a bit jealous, "whoa calm down bro, it`s not the end of the world," Mac said trying to calm me down, "yeah I`m sure you`ll get a girlfriend before we graduate" Akira added, "easy for you guys to say, you guys don`t have to worry about this," I said glumly to which the bell for the first period rang.

First Period Math class

"Alright, take your seats," said the teacher, "my name is Riku Ito, I will be teaching this course, I will have a teaching assistant joining me throughout the semester, come on in," Ito-sensei said as a young beautiful lady walked into the classroom, "whoa, she`s kinda cute," I thought as I could tell Akira and Mac were thinking the same things as they had grins on their faces, "hey you two have girlfriends, you don`t get to stare," I thought, "Hello everyone, my name is Akari Tanaka, I am currently a senior at Tokyo University, I look forward to working with you all" Tanaka-sensei said as she bowed to which all the boys cheered, "aww sweet we get a babe to teach us math," said a male student, "I`m gonna come into class every day from now on," said another male student, "all right settle down everyone, the class is in session," Ito-Sensei said as he began writing problems on the board.

Lunchtime

"Yo Kaito-Kun, what do you think of that math class?" Akira asked as we all were having our lunch in the cafeteria, "seems okay to me, Ito-Sensei doesn`t seem too scary" I answered while slurping on my noodles, "Yo, that teaching assistant is fine as hell" Mac said cheerfully, "wait don`t you have a girlfriend?" I asked, "yeah, but she pretty enough to where I might consider her wifey, just don`t tell Sakura-san, she won`t be too happy" Mac replied to which at that moment someone entered the cafeteria and the atmosphere changed, "isn`t that Chizuru Miyamoto, the rich senpai who rejects everyone that confesses to her," said a male student. "Yeah, but that won`t stop me from confessing, I might shoot my shot," said an upperclassman, "Chizuru Miyamoto, that one girl who is out of everyone`s league, not to mention, she`s got a body that most guys would drool over, not like I have a chance, the nice girl that like everyone doesn`t even wanna give me a chance, I got a better chance of getting struck by lighting," I thought as I finished up my lunch but to my surprise, Chizuru-senpai and her friend came up to us, "hey can we sit next to you guys," Chizuru asked us, "yeah go ahead, we don`t mind" I replied to which she sat next to me, "wow, she smells so good, I guess she`s not popular for nothing," I said as I was captivated by her smell, "thanks for letting us sit with you guys, I swear every guy here drools over me, you guys seem nice," Chizuru said to us, "yeah it no problem, some guys are just different from others" Mac replied, "by the way what are your names?" Chizuru asked us, "oh my name is Kaito Watanabe, I`m a junior, these are my two friends Akira Suzuki and Mac Jones, they`re both juniors as well," I said introducing myself, "my name is Chizuru Miyamoto, a senior, this is my friend Aoi Tachibana," Chizuru said while pointing to her friend, "nice to meet you" Aoi replied, "yeah pleasure to meet you" I replied, "Is this what they call the famous urban legend where the popular girl gives the guy with no hope a chance?" I thought, "oh Kaito-Kun, you`ve got some sauce on your right lip, here I`ll get it for you," Chizuru said as she grabbed a napkin and wiped my cheek to which I blushed, "oh thanks" I replied as I noticed that most of the guys around me were staring daggers at me, "no problem, we should probably get going, next period is about to begin, see you guys," Chizuru said as she got up and left while waving at us, "dude this could be your chance," Mac said as both him and Akira were grinning, "I wouldn`t count on it, you guys said that last time about Yui, look how bad I screwed up that situation became, she doesn`t even want to talk to me anymore let alone look at me" I pointed out.

After School

"Yo I gotta dip, I promised my girl I would hang with her this evening," Mac said as he walked away to meet his girlfriend Sakura, "yeah my girl waiting for me too, see you tomorrow bro" Akira added as he walked to Sara his girlfriend and then they proceeded to cuddle, "geez I think I`m gonna lose my lunch," I thought as I gagged, "guess I`ll walk around on my own.

Tokyo Station Area Bookstore

"I guess I`ll buy a book," I thought as I read a book that was titled "How to Stop Failing at Love" "guess this book will help," I thought as I went and bought the book, but as I walked outside I noticed a familiar figure walking with another guy, "Yui-san?" I thought as I walked a bit closer to which I realized it was indeed Yui-san, the same girl who had rejected me 3 months ago and yet she seemed so happy, "just my luck" I thought, "guess I`ll just walk around on my own as usual for a bit" I thought as well my mood had shifted from seeing her with someone else.

Tokyo Ramen 7:15 pm

"Guess I`ll get something to eat," I thought as I walked into the noodle bar and sat down on the counter, "hey son, what`ll it be?" asked the ramen chef, "give me the chashu ramen with medium-level spice" I requested, "coming right up," said the ramen chef as I poured myself some tea and played a game on my I-phone to which at that moment a couple walked in and it was none other than Yui-san and her new boyfriend, "Kaito-Kun?" Yui said seeming surprised, "what are you doing here?" I asked Yui, "I`m on a date with my boyfriend Ken," Yui said while introducing me to her new boyfriend, "I can see that, but we haven`t spoken to each other since you know, we should still talk from time to time," I said to which Yui`s expression changed, "you see the thing is I think it`s best we don`t speak anymore, I`m happier since we stopped speaking to each other, the atmosphere between us has changed since that incident and Ken is so much caring than you are, I`m sorry Kaito-Kun, but this is goodbye, have a good love life" Yui said with a smirk as she took Ken`s hand and walked away leaving me alone and the couples around me were talking about how I essentially got dominated by the alpha male to which I reached my boiling point, "why don`t you just mind your own damn business?," I thought angrily to which my order came in, "here you go," said the ramen chef, "hey give me two more bowls of chashu ramen with the highest level spice you got" I requested as at this point I stopped giving a shit and was angry.

9:30 pm

"Geez, what a mess I`ve become, normally the spice would have been too much for me to handle, but when you get rejected the way I did, spice at this point just tickles, "man where did I go wrong I thought as I poured myself some more tea looking like an alcoholic trying to pour another bottle of wine, "son you alright?" asked the ramen chef as he noticed that I was thrown out of whack, "I`m pretty far from fucking alright" I replied as the thoughts of seeing Yui-san with another guy after I poured my heart out to her was enough for me, "Listen kid, it`s closing time, you should get going, you`ll get over it" said the ramen chef as I left the money for the meal and walked out the ramen restaurant as I walked past all the couples around me, "freaking normies, you don`t gotta rub it in my face you know," I thought as walked home.

My House 10:00 pm

"I`m home," I said as I took my shoes off, but surprisingly my parents weren`t home, the only person I saw was Touma sitting at the kitchen table, "Hey kid, why you home so late?" Touma asked, "long story, I`d rather not talk about it" I said as I put my bag down, "is it a girl problem?" Touma asked to which I froze, "what if it is?" I replied as I still wasn`t in the best mood, "I see, come sit down, you can tell me, I`ve been through some tough crap just like you, want a drink?" Touma asked me as he poured some sake into my cup, "sure why not?" I said as I drank the sake, "how would you feel if you confessed to a nice girl and poured your heart out to her, but then she takes those feelings and tosses it away and then shows me her new boyfriend?" I asked, "well honestly I`d feel like a piece of shit, but at the end of the day it is what it is" Touma replied. "Man seeing this shit makes me regret ever confessing, maybe I shouldn`t confess my feelings to anyone else since I`ll probably feel the same way again," I said as I poured myself some more sake to which Touma put his hand on my shoulder, "Listen kid, you did the right thing, it`s better to try and fail rather than leaving things the way they are and regretting it for the rest of your life, stop beating yourself up for doing the right things, life isn`t fair, but you gotta take risks and if you fail get back up and try again, so don`t let this one incident eat away at you and change you, use it as motivation to make you better, you understand?" Touma said to me, "yeah I think I do, thanks for hearing me out" I said as I got up, "no problem, you`re gonna find a girlfriend eventually" Touma said to me as I walked into the bathroom and showered and afterward I walked into my room and laid down on it, "motivation huh?" went through my head as I reflected everything that had happened today, "maybe it`s time I let this go" I thought as I remembered Chizuru-senpai cleaning my face, "it wouldn`t hurt to get to know her better" I thought as I got some shut-eye.
