NOTE TO JeanneJam: lol, me too. Maybe that's why I couldn't find anything on maps.
NOTE: If you're listening to the song, listen to the second verse during Sue and Jack. The lyrics are PERFECT. I did NOT write the story around the song, yet it tells exactly what happens. I didn't have a song that popped in my head (sometimes they pop, sometimes I need to find them). Anyways, I was looking for a certain style of song. I knew I had it, it just took me a while. And then this popped up. I knew immediately that this was the absolute perfect song. It heightens the magic of the moment, and that is what I was looking for!
TRIVIA: What do you think Myles is up to? Or Josh (or at least trying to)? Either one, or both :) One will be answered in a story sooner than the other. Correct answer gets the first chapter of the new story!

"See, this is what I call a great Valentine's Day. Shopping bags galore in my hands, chocolate in my mouth." Sarah said as she and Tara walked in the mall.
Tara laughed. "The chocolate is good, yes. Where did you get it?"
"Ah," Sarah started. "Now that is my secret. This is my 'I need to feel good' chocolate."
"You have different kinds of chocolate?" Tara asked.
"Of course! Don't you?"
Tara shook her head, taking another piece into her mouth. "There's just chocolate, and chocolate for me." She replied.
"I have different kinds for different moods. Ooh! Look at that dress!" she pointed into one of the store windows.
"That's pretty."
Sarah looked at her friend. "You should go try it on."
"For what? I have nowhere to wear it."
Sarah looked up. "You never know."
Tara eyed the hopeful look in her friend. "Alright."
"Yay!" Sarah squealed as they walked into the store.
?-?
"This is lovely." Mya said, looking around.
Josh nodded quickly. "Mya."
"Hrm," she said, looking straight at him.
"Can I get you any drinks?" The waiter asked, interrupting Josh.
"Tea, please?" Mya said.
"Nothing, right now, thanks." Josh said, waiting until the waiter was out of sight.
"You wanted to ask me something?" Mya said, looking at Josh, who was a bit distracted.
"Oh, uh, yeah." He paused a few seconds to take a deep breath.
"Your drink, ma'am." The waiter said, setting her tea next to Mya.
She smiled her thanks at him.
Josh eyed the waiter, praying that he would leave them alone for a few minutes at least.
"What's wrong?" she asked, seeing the aggravated look in his eyes.
"What? Oh, nothing, nothing."
"Then what's up?" she asked, reaching for a breadstick in the middle of the table, using her peripheral vision.
"Mya, I-"
"Oh, shoot!" she exclaimed as the tea glass fell over, and tea spilled all over her brand new dress. Josh quickly got up, grabbed his napkin, and tried helping her. "It's no use. It's ruined." She finally said, tears in her eyes.
"It's not ruined. You just need to clean it."
"Not the dress, silly! The night! I thought I was making something special, and I just made a mess of things."
"Hey, it's alright." He quietly said.
"No, it's not!" she exclaimed, pushing him away.
"How about I take you home, and we'll clean the dress up there?"
She nodded, tears starting to fall. Josh got up, grabbed a few dollars out of his wallet, and helped Mya out of the restaurant.
?-?
Myles knew what he needed to do, and so he did it. Luckily, the information he needed was fairly easily accessible, so he didn't need to implore Mya or Tara into it. He would just quietly disappear for the weekend, and come back on Monday, no one none the wiser. He just hoped that this would work. He finalized the necessary clicks, then shut his computer. "Here's to Valentine's Day."
?-?
"I'm sorry." Mya said in the car. She had calmed down, and was remorseful that she exploded in there.
"It's OK."
"No, it's not. You wanted to tell me something, and I couldn't get past the tea."
"It's fine." He replied, slightly smiling at her.
"What did you want to tell me?"
He looked at her briefly while driving. "Maybe later, OK?"
She nodded and smiled. "OK"
Soon, they were at Mya's apartment. They went up, and she changed into jeans and a t-shirt, dress in hand. When she came back out, Josh was still standing by the door, smiling widely.
"What?" she asked.
"You look beautiful."
"Huh?" she said, confused.
"This is more you than that dress." He replied.
"You don't like it? I bought it specifically for today."
"I never said that, but this, jeans, a t-shirt, and your hair up. This is the Mya I know." He smiled again.
She smiled back. "I'll be right back. Maybe you could order some pizza, and pick out a movie?"
"Alright, Hawaiian?" he asked, walking to the kitchen, phone in hand.
"Of course!" she called after him.
?-?
"I know we ate lunch on the road, but I'm getting hungry, and it's getting dark." Sue called after Jack. They'd been on the trail for about an hour and a half, and Sue was loving every minute, but her stomach was grumbling.
Jack stopped, and Sue rode up next to him. "We'll stop in a bit, if only I could find it." He frustratedly looked around.
"Don't tell me we're lost!" she exclaimed.
"No, I don't think. I think it's this way." He started riding again. Sue sighed, following him.
About 10 minutes later, their efforts were rewarded. She took in a breath at the beautiful sight. They were on a cliff, looking over the ocean. The sky was a mixture of blues, pinks, purples and yellows. "BEAUTIFUL." She signed.
"My sentiments exactly." Jack replied before dismounting.
"What're you doing?" she asked, seeing him in her peripheral vision.
He smiled at her. "You'll see."

An hour later, Josh and Mya were happily watching a favorite movie and eating Hawaiian pizza. The dress was drying, and they were having more fun than if they had stayed in the restaurant. In between bites, Josh would watch Mya instead of the movie. Finally, she noticed this.
"What?"
"Happy Valentine's Day." He smiled at her.
"Happy Valentine's Day!" she exclaimed, grabbing another slice. They both went back to watching their movie.
?-?
Sue smiled widely when she realized what Jack was doing. She quickly dismounted, tied up Rose, then came over to help unpack his backpack. On the top was a large blanket. They laid it out on a large patch of grass near the trail. Underneath were sandwiches, a bag of chips, and heart-shaped cookies. They both sat down on the blanket and ate their sandwiches as they watched the sky change colors. Soon, they were having their desert, and the sky was darkening so much they could barely see each other.
"What's going to happen when it gets too dark?" she asked.
Even in the almost dark, she saw Jack's smile. He pointed to the other end of the trail. In about 5 seconds, little clear bulbs, draped across the trees lit up. It was bright enough that she was able to see him clearly again, and he her wide-eyed starry look at the pretty lights. When she finally looked back at him, he said, "It goes straight back to the barn. We took the long way here, but this is the straight path. We only have about 20 minutes before we get back."
She smiled widely. "Thank you. This has been an amazing Valentine's Day."
He smiled back. "Yes, it has."
"Happy Valentine's Day." She replied.
"Happy Valentine's Day. He leaned in, and after a few seconds, they kissed.
After the kiss, they got up, packed up their little picnic, and mounted their horses. They slowly walked their horses through the lit up path, holding hands. Sue looked around in awe. She never wanted this day to end.
Jack gently pulled her arm so that she knew to look at him. "I love you."
She smiled widely. "I love you too."
