They had been in the hospital for a few days now and nothing seemed to be changing. Regina was starting to get testy and Snow wouldn't stop asking her questions she didn't have the answers to.

In the middle of the night Regina was sleeping next to Emma as she had been every night when she woke up to the feeling of pressure around her. She was startled until she realized that the feeling was someone squeezing her. That confused her. Who could it be?

She sat up and squinted through the dark. "Hey babe, sorry I scared you." came through the darkness. Regina began crying and immediately hugged Emma tight. "Emma…You're awake! How are you feeling? What happened? Are you okay?" Regina just kept rambling on. "I'm okay Regina. I'm here, everything is going to be alright." Emma reassured Regina as she squeezed her tighter.

"Henry! Go get Dr Whale!" Regina yelled. Henry woke up confused. "Hey Henry" Emma said. "Ma!" Henry exclaimed excitedly and did as Regina had asked. Minutes later Henry came back with Whale and turned on the light. "Welcome back." Whale said the Emma. "Glad to be back." Emma said rubbing Regina's back. "Do you remember what happened to you?" Dr Whale asked her. "The last thing I remember is seeing Rumpel and then everything went black. Regina! Rumpel is back!" Emma said worried. "It's okay Emma. He's been taken care of. I'll explain it all later." Regina said, reassuring her. "Your car was flipped Emma." Dr Whale said. "Oh. How do I feel fine then?" Emma asked. "Your magic healed you while you were out dear." Regina replied.

Emma pulled Regina closer to her and hugged her tighter. "I'm so sorry Regina. For everything. You were right, we do need to be more careful." "No. I wasn't right Emma. None of that matters. The only thing that matters is this, our family." Regina said staring into Emma's eyes.

As the words 'our family' dropped from her lips Emily came running into the room. Henry had texted his grandparents the news right after he had gotten Dr. Whale. "Moms!" She screamed as she jumped on the bed with them. They both hugged her tight. "Hey sweetie how have you been?" Emma asked her. "I've missed you moms. I just wanted to see you so bad." Emily said a bit sad. "I know honey. I'm sorry, but your mommy wasn't feeling good." Regina said. "I'm all better now though." Emma added so Emily didn't worry. Emily hugged them both again and snuggled into them.

Dr. Whale took Emma's vitals just to be safe and then left the family to get things ready to leave. As he left Snow and David came in, they had waited until the Doctor was finished.

"Thank you for the flowers Emma." Regina said lovingly. "Did they survive?" Emma asked puzzled. "No dear. They met a tragic fate, but the though was still there." Regina said with a smile. "I was trying to make it up to you. To show you I was sorry." "Emma, you didn't need to do any of that. I was just a little stressed at the situation and I see now that it doesn't matter. I love you." Regina said cupping Emmas face.

"What situation?" Snow asked. "The office…" Emma said, giving Snow a look. "Oh…" Snow said eyes big. "Well it's not like I said anything to anyone." "Oh come on Snow. We both know you can't keep a secret." Regina jabbed. "I was TEN!" Snow yelled. Puffing out a frustrated breath and glaring at Regina. Regina chuckled.

"Let's go home." Emma said. Henry grabbed their things while Regina helped Emma get up. Regina walked with Emma to the car and helped her get in. "At least that death trap of a car isn't a problem anymore." Regina joked with Emma. "That's not nice." Emma pouted. "I loved that car." Henry buckled Emily in the back seat and then climbed in himself. Once Regina had gotten Emma all settled she turned to David and Snow. "Thank you for watching Emily for us. Thank you for everything." She really was grateful for them and she couldn't believe she was admitting it. "Of course Regina. You are our family." David said and Snow agreed. That touched her. She was their family, not just Emma and Emily, but her too. She thanked them again and gave them a genuine smile before getting in the car and driving her family home.

When they got home Henry watched Emily while Regina helped Emma shower and get cleaned up. It had been a few days and she felt gross from everything that had happened. "Thank you babe. I love you so much. I'm so lucky to be with you." "I'm the lucky one Emma. You love me and accept me for exactly who I am, Evil Queen and all and you inspire me to be a better person. I adore everything there is about you." She said giving Emma a tender kiss.

Once Emma was clean and dressed the two of them went down stairs to join their kids. They made some easy sandwiches for lunch and went into the living room for a day full of movies. Regina was up for anything today. She was just happy to have her family home.

They took turns choosing movies. Emma chose the first Harry Potter movie, Regina chose Star Wars, no one outside her family new it but she loved those movies. Henry chose Iron Man and Emily chose Snow White, causing Regina to roll her eyes and sigh the whole time. Regina really hated the way she was represented in that movie. "Lighten up Evil Queen." Emma would joke with Regina during it. She would threaten back with putting a sleeping curse in her grilled cheese. It was all in jest.

They ordered pizza for dinner but Regina insisted on making a salad to go with it, they had to have some greens. They finished up the last movie, to Reginas relief and turned off the T.V. Henry retired for the night to get some school work done, he had to go back tomorrow unfortunately. Regina took Emily upstairs and got her ready for bed.

Emma waited for a while. Then she noticed Regina's poetry book on the coffee table and picked it up and started reading it. She laid down and pulled the throw Regina had gotten on their trip over her legs. Regina came back down the stairs and saw Emma reading her book. She walked over, picked up Emma's feet and sat down, laying them in her lap. Emma sat the book down and just smiled at her. "Don't stop on my account, you looked like you were enjoying yourself." "The view in front of me now is much better. Besides, they don't have the same feel without your sultry voice." Emma replied. "My sultry voice huh?" Regina questioned, raising her eyebrow at Emma. "Hell yeah. Your voice is hot as fuck babe." Emma plainly replied.

Regina chuckled at her. Then she picked up the book and read her a poem.

I never expected you to get under my skin, but now your name runs through my veins and I can't help but let every part of you in. - Courtney Peppernell

As Regina was reading Emma studied her face. The way her lips would turn up when she got to a part she particularly liked and the way her eyes sparkled while she read to Emma. Regina finished the poem and looked over at Emma with all the love she felt in her chocolate brown eyes.

Emma grabbed ahold of Regina's shirt, spread her legs and pulled her down on top of her and Regina went willingly. They lied there for a few moments looking into each others eyes and each others souls, their bodies fitting together seamlessly.

Regina crashes their lips together in lustful passion. They get lost in each other tongues playing and hands roaming. Regina breaks away for air. "Emma we really can't do this. You need to rest and heal." "Come on Regina, just a little fun." "No Emma." "Party pooper…"Call me whatever you want dear but I want you alive and healthy to annoy me for the rest of my life. So my answer stands." Just then Emma bites down hard on Regina's neck, surly leaving a mark. Regina moans "Emma…"
