"Wait a minute, Prue never bound her powers," Paige asked.

"Well, if Prue was only seventeen when she had Pearl, she wouldn't have known she had to, never mind how to do it," Phoebe explained.

"But Grams would have," Piper ran her hands through her hair.

"Not if she didn't know," Phoebe replied.

"She must have hid the pregnancy the way mom did with me," the youngest added.

"What are you talking about?" Pearl watched the sisters pace and share looks before interjecting.

"Pearl, what kind of powers do you have," Piper asked.

"I can move things. With my mind," she added. "I can also leave my body, create shields and blow things up using kinetic energy."

Piper nodded, "Like your mother. But what do you know about your powers and where they come from?"

"Nothing. Why?"

"You're a witch," her aunt answered. "We all are. Everyone in our family since the 1600s at least. Starting with our ancestor, Melinda Warren. She told a prophecy about how our line would grow stronger and stronger with each generation until one day a group of three sisters would be born. They would be known as the Charmed Ones and one sister would have the ability to move things with her mind, one the power to stop time, and one to see the future. They would be the most powerful witches of all time, and before your mother died, she was Charmed, alongside me and Phoebe."

"But there are four of you."

"I'm like you," Paige said. "I was given up at birth and no one knew I existed. Like you, I tracked down my birth mother and never made contact with my family. Not until Prue passed. You're right, your mother was killed and the Charmed circle was broken but when I reunited with Piper and Phoebe was restored the power of three and I became Charmed."

"Why was Prue killed," Pearl demanded as she held on to her belly.

"We're a force of good," Piper responded, "and part of being Charmed is protecting innocents from evil. Evil always wanted us gone so that they could prosper, but that time we were protecting a doctor from a demonic assassin—"

"Demonic?"

"You'll see," Paige told her.

Pearl's eyes went wide and Piper elbowed her sister. "The doctor had either saved too many lives or was going to save the life of someone they didn't want saved, so they sent a demon to kill him, but we got to the doctor first and brought him here. Only, Shax —the hitman— followed us here and your mother pushed the doctor out of the way and she was thrown through a wall. Then I was thrown through a wall and then the doctor. I survived, but Prue didn't," Piper sniffled and wiped a tear.

"I'm sorry. I never knew her but you lost your sister."

"And you lost the chance to meet her and have time with her. No one's loss is more than the others," Paige assured her.

"So, I'm a witch. Will my baby be a witch ?"

"Yes," Phoebe said. "But you're not alone anymore. You have us. We can teach you and your baby about magic."

"What about—what did you call it earlier—binding our powers?"

"Oh, honey. Magic is a gift. There will always be a level of danger but it's the same for humans. Don't make any sudden decisions," urged Paige. "Let us teach you what you're capable of first."

"You can teach me?"

"You came to the right place," Piper smiled at her.
