The young and vibrant blonde sighed heavily as he rose to the sunlight beaming across his village, warmth licking his skin whilst his mind tried to recall what happened yesterday. Once again, his mind was boggled after remembering that his grandfather figure gave him a new sensei and decided that he was no longer part of Kakashi's team, a most joyous moment to make him leap out of bed and see that it was not at all a dream. His room was as he remembered before drifting off to sleep, not single thing out of place and not a shred of trash nor smell to punch his nose. It didn't matter to him after a minute though, for he took a gander at his clock and saw that it was time to rise and prepare himself for training.
"Alright, time to get ready." Naruto said enthusiastically, pumping a fist into the air. He rushed through finding his clothes and changing before bolting to the living room to see if his new teacher was ready to teach him.
"Hey sensei!" Naruto yelled, coming to a screeching halt into his living room. To no avail though did he find his new teacher resting on the couch, but rather permeating the entire room with a wonderful smell that hit the boy's nose and drew him towards it.
Sin immediately turned around with utensils the blond never knew he had. His hands were full with a frying skillet in one hand and a spatula in the other. He was busy sliding eggs and bacon onto two plates and beckoning the boy to take a seat before fetching a couple glasses of orange juice. Where he found it, Naruto couldn't possibly answer since he was certain that none of those things existed in his home. He swept his gaze across the hot food and scrunched his nose after seeing that his morning routine of breakfast was not on the table.
"Where's the ramen?" He asked, a little unhappy with his new sensei.
Sin shook his head at the boy and put another skillet on the table. "We're changing your diet as of right now. You keep eating that stuff as a strict diet and you'll stay as puny as the way you are. You need to broaden with what you eat in order to grow."
Naruto glared at the man for a moment, unsure whether he should trust him. He was correct though and unable to deny that ramen was his only food source since he was caught red-handed with all the ramen cups and bowls that were scattered last night.
"Come on," Naruto whined. "I don't see the big deal in eating ramen all the time."
"It's a big problem," Sin stated, emphasizing his point by pointing at certain parts of his own body. "Ramen consists of a high sodium and calorie diet with hardly anything to pair with it. "The sodium can cause cholestorol probems which will affect your heart, and the noodles can make you fat if you're unable to burn them off before the day is over. And you, my young padawan, probably consumed over four-thousand calories last night. You're only the way you are due to a high metabolism in your body. Now eat before it gets cold."
All this info made Naruto's head spin and give a slight headache, and crocodile tears came to him as he realized he broke his five-year ramen streak. All he could think of was how his sensei was making him betray Ayame and Teuchi, but there was nothing he could do since his sensei could make him float in order to stop him from running off; not to mention this was the first hot meal he ever received and he wasn't going to deny himself such a magnificent feast.
"Thank you, sensei." He muttered, still unhappy that there wasn't any ramen.
Sin smiled warmly at the pouting boy while fixing his own plate. "You're welcome. Now there is scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, mixed fruit, and sausage patties. Enjoy yourself."
That was the end of the conversation and Naruto was left with an explosion of flavor after making his plate and trying every piece of food for the first time, his eyes almost rolling in the back of his head while drool began to escape at his first taste of bacon. Discovering there was more to than what he called the food of the gods, Naruto hurriedly inhaled his food and made another plates while making his new friend stare at him quizzically while making another plate for himself as well.
He acts like he's never eaten before. This almost pulled on Sin's heartstrings, as it was well within his abilities to see past the eyes of a person and find the true person from within, and he saw that Naruto was very similar to him. He was lonely and discovering that someone out there cared about him, along with having a heavy heart of confusion and guilt over things that are beyond his control. Naruto reminded the immortal of himself when he started his life in Equestria.
It pained him to see the inside of the boy, but the time of sorrow was long over with said boy finishing his breakfast just before Sin did and bolted upright to the door and wave him over.
"Hurry up, Sensei!" Naruto demanded. "Let's go to the training grounds and get started!"
Sin, who snapping his fingers to make the dishes clean themselves, chuckled lightly and stood up to follow Naruto outside and to these so-called training grounds.
Training Ground Fourty-Four
Sin gave Naruto a quick breather after leaping over the walls of marketplace and landing on the training grounds. He had to say he was very impressed with how the village decided to make this an area for ninja to train. There was a stream running clean water, a forest in the background, and a ground that he felt was solid enough to withstand the upcoming stages of Naruto's training. How he was going to train the young genin, he wasn't entirely sure. He had to think back to what the death god told him and pondered as Naruto shook with anticipation to start his new training. He remembered that although his magic was a different energy from chakra, the process was still the same, which meant it was very possible to teach his student techniques that work the same as what he recalled last night to be called jutsu.
"I guess combat would be a good start." Sin pondered, puzzling his chin for a minute before turning to the genin. "Alright Naruto, I want to start with your fighting abilities to get an understanding of how proficient you are in combat."
Naruto tilted his head at the man, a confused look about him. "But sensei, shouldn't we start with introductions?" He asked, making Sin cock an eyebrow at him. "Kakashi Sensei made us do introductions about who we are, our goals, our hobbies. And honestly, I know nothing about you other than you use some weird chakra."
"I use magic, not chakra." Sin corrected, taking a moment to clear his throat and collect his thoughts. "Alright well I know quite about you already so need to hear from you."
He cleared his throat again. "Alright, my full name Sin Firestorm. My hobbies consist of training, cooking, reading, and weaving new spells whenever I'm bored. As for my goals, right now I only one and it consists of making you the best damn ninja to exist. I have no other goals due to some certain. . . people betraying me."
Naruto raised a brow at the man. "Why did they betray you?"
Sin sighed at the boy and recalled what transpired yesterday, his emotions almost overwhelming him. "Let's not talk about that now; it's still a fresh wound. Besides, this is about you getting the training you need, so let's get started."
At that moment, Naruto knew talking was over as he had watched his sensei put his sword to ground and stand there with his hands in his pocket. "Alright Naruto, attack me with everything you have. Do not hold back anything and come at me with the intention to kill."
Naruto nodded and drew a kunai from his pouch. There was no need for more words and charged wildly at Sin with said kunai flying out of his hand with intention to pierce the man's head. This was his first day of real training and he was going to do everything he can to improve his new teacher.
In a lazy tilt of his head, Sin watched the kunai zoom past his head and held the back of his right hand up to block a spinning kick from Naruto. He followed up with taking the boy's momentum to his advantage and toss him away, but the grip on his shirt said otherwise as he had found out that his collar was grabbed and his student was following up with a kick to his chin. He wanted to properly assess Naruto's skill and see where he stood as a combatant, and thankfully he was getting all the info he needed with each cycling punch or swing he was dodging with no effort.
"Not bad," he complimented the boy, though it was heard on deaf ears since Naruto was getting frustrated. "You're attacks are very fluid-like with near precise follow ups."
He dodged another kunai and grabbed Naruto's fist before throwing him into the water to soften his landing. He was surprised though that the blond boy was quick to manipulate his body and land just at the edge of the stream. The sweat on his face though said much to Sin as he watch his student pant heavily.
"But you're slow and there's hardly any strength behind your punches." He pointed out coldly. "Not to mention that orange suit is tiring you out with the heat building up inside. Take it off right now."
"FINE!" Naruto spat, unzipping his jumpsuit. He stood in nothing but his shorts and a shirt with the immediate effects taking hold after tossing the orange attire to the ground. He found that he was getting his breaths under control and cooling off very quickly.
"Feel better?" Sin asked, receiving a nod. "Good, because as of right now, you're to wear new clothes that are both breathable and protective." He made the order whilst taking his bag out to see if he had anything that might be beneficial for the boy.
In a flash though, he was under attack again with Naruto trying to hit him while he was elbow deep in his enchanted bag in search of proper clothes for the boy. He didn't even have to look at Naruto to dodge or block each kick, punch or kunai that was thrown at him. But with a flick of his wrist, he pushed the boy's foot from hitting the back of his head and launched him across the training grounds just in time to find what he was looking for.
Naruto was quick to get back on his feet and ready himself for another attack, but the sudden feeling of clothes hitting him in the face stopped him from getting back on the offensive and see that his teacher just gave him new attire. He grabbed said clothes and held them out to see what he was just given and came to sudden grips that they weren't bad looking and appeared to be better than his orange jumpsuit.
"Put these on and then attack me."
Naruto paused for a moment to remember that his jumpsuit was with him almost his entire life, and it pained him to think he was getting nowhere wearing it. But, he realized that if he wanted to be a better ninja he needed to accept that changes were needed to be made and complied with his sensei's demand. A brief two minutes of changing attire and Naruto found himself unable to move considering the clothes were five sizes too big. He couldn't even see his hands and glared at the man who was making more mystical signs appear with his hands.
"Sensei, they don't fit!"
"They will now." Sin cast another spell, and instantly, Naruto was fitting the same clothes but they were shrunken to his size and fitting much more comfortably. He ran over the the water to see his reflection and saw
A quick gaze and Naruto saw he now wearing a strange pair of black shoes that covered his entire feet, his pants were black as well but the shirt was red with strange symbols running from his shoulder down to his sleeves.
"You look much better in that." Sin complimented, his warm demeanor turning cold once more. "Now hurry and attack me again."
As soon as those words hit Naruto, a big grin of new confidence appeared on his face and he spun around to resume his training. He reached for another kunai and back to work in attacking his sensei.
His training went on until noon had struck and the bell ring to signify that morning was coming to a close, and the results were better than either of two expected out of eachother. Though tired and ready to pass out with sore limbs, Naruto followed his teacher back into the village for a long deserved meal with his stomach growling loudly but his confidence on a new high. Never in his life did he receive a compliment about his hard work and training, and it only boosted him to push harder on himself and reach new heights as he led Sin to a very well-known restaurant.
"I have to say you did better than expected," Sin told the smiling boy, watching the village folk either stare positively at him or glare at the boy and whisper some rather foul things. He ignored it though since it didn't bother Naruto and went on with talking to him. "Your speed and strength needs serious improvement, but we can fix that in a hurry. Not to mention we'll find a style of combat that suits you in no time."
"It's because I'm so awesome." Naruto boasted, getting a chuckle out of the man as they reached their destination.
Said destination however, was not as hopeful as Naruto had hoped when they reached the entrance. A single step inside and he and Sin were met with the manager standing before them with his arms crossed and a hateful glare on him.
"You're not welcome here, demon." The manager spat, pointing at the village. "Get out of here before I report you to the council."
Naruto was accustomed to the hatred the villagers gave him and would always shrug it off before going back to the ramen shop, but a sparking feeling overcame him as Sin watched the situation unfold. The boy held his head low in what he felt to be humiliation and growled with clenched teeth as the threats went on from the manager and the customers insider proceeded to follow with disgusting whispers.
"Come on," Naruto muttered but was immediately stopped by his teacher and forced to face the manager even longer.
"I'm sorry," Sin said calmly, hold his hand against Naruto's back. "But my student and I came here to get a meal before we resume his training."
The look of shock flew onto the manager's face, and he proceeded to glare at Sin. "You're training that monster. Do you have any idea what-"
Everyone, even Naruto, went silent in a moment's notice of Sin's actions towards the middle-aged man. A pin needle could drop and be heard after the noise died out and the entire restaurant could see that the immortal was holding the man by his shirt and lifting him into the air. The anger exploded from within, and Sin made it known by the sheer force of his magical aura radiating off his body before closing the space between him and the manager.
"I'm training a young boy that wants to be the best shinobi in existence." Sin hissed venemously, tightening the man's grip. "You don't ever call him a demon or monster ever again or I'll make your tongue disappear." He set the man back on his feet but kept his firm grip. "Now you're going to serve Naruto and I and the meals will be free, and I expect perfect service or I'll report you for discrimination towards a child. And I'm pretty sure the old man would not take it kindly to you mistreating his favorite blond friend."
Sin watched the fear overcome the manager with quick nod before releasing him and being escorted to his table, but that didn't stop him from making his point since his aura was still flaring and everyone was watching him with concerned eyes. Although Naruto sat down, Sin remained on his feet to gander at the crowd and make his point.
"The same goes for everyone here, and make sure my message reaches your family friends." He warned, channeling his magic to eyes to form the same demonic look he used to terrify his enemies. "Naruto is my student, and if anyone, and I mean anyone, fucks with him, then you'll be fucking with me. And I can promise you that I'm not as kind as the hokage. I'll end you on the spot."
The message spread quickly with some of the customers standing up and bolting out of the room to get away from the magical pressure that felt as though it was crushing them. Terror now went around the restaurant as Sin took his seat across from Naruto and waited for their waiter to come and take their orders.
"Thank sensei." Naruto said genuinely, getting his hair ruffled by the man after he calmed down and lowered his aura.
"You're me now kid," Sin said proudly. "And nobody is going to mess you, lest they want to stop living."
Laughter went on between the two during the lunch, and a newfound friendship started to grow between them while jokes were made and plans for training were planned.
Later That Day
In the Hokage's office, Sarutobi sat at his desk with frown on his face, gazing with a less than friendly appearance of his person as more than the people he summoned for a quick meeting came in with some less than friendly face walking in suite. The old kage groaned as his infamous village council appeared next to his trusted shinobi council and scowled at him. Homura, Koharu, Sakiri, and the old warhawk known as Danzo, waited impatiently for their leader to explain himself after they discovered the newest shinobi in their ranks was assigned as Naruto's jounin sensei and was found out after some of the villagers ran to complain about said sensei scaring the daylight out of them after a confrontation in the restaurant.
Shikaku Nara, Chouza Akimichi, Tsume Inazuka, Hiashi Hyuuga, and Inoichi Yamanaka stood patiently for their hokage to explain his actions about bringing a new shinobi into their ranks. It wasn't just them however, there was Anko Mitarashi, Kurenai Yuhi, Asuma Sarutobi, Might Guy, Kakashi Hatake and his genin team in the fray as well with the same curiosity about them.
The news of Sin's actions at the restaurant hit all council ears whilst the news of Naruto's new sensei passed along from Kakashi to the rest of the jounin senseis, and it boded better for them than it did with the council members since it was unheard of their hokage suddenly registering a new ninja into the system with their approval, not that he needed it anyway when they were all there to advise him.
The first to make conversation approached the old kage with a respectful bow before saying his piece.
"Lord Third, we've received numerous accounts of the rumor passing that a new shinobi is amongst us," Shikaku stated with the utmost respect, although he wanted to berate the man for not seeking his counsel first. "And you decided to make him Naruto's sensei when he was with team seven."
"That is correct," Sarutobi answered politely. "But I have removed Naruto from team seven, seeing as how he came to me with complaints about his team and sensei, complaints that have led to accounts of discrimination and favoritism."
It was at this point the village council wanted to roar their opinions, but the hokage made it known to respect him by flaring his killing intent a little. Now it was Might Guy's turn to ask, considering he was always about having someone to possibly rival him since Kakashi was failing miserably.
"And who is this new shinobi?"
"A young man that goes by the name, Sin Firestorm, and I had him registered after checking some his credentials and witnessing some of his abilities." Sarutobi partially lied. The only credentials he did read was a folder that carried information from the other world, but there was no trickery behind the facts after he used his expertise as a shinobi to see if any seals or jutsu were trying to fool him. He had no doubt that Sin was going to be a valued member in due time. Now he just had to deal with everyone else.
Both Danzo and Sakiri narrowed on the old man. The statement seemed suspicious to the warhawk and decided to find out for himself what the old fool was hiding. Unfortuantely, Sakiri made herself known with her infamous and much undesired voice booming in the office.
"You're having someone treat that thing to become a shinobi!" The screeching Haruno bellowed, making half of the group cover their ears. "That boy cannot be taught to be a ninja or he'll be more trouble than he's worth."
At those discriminating words, Tsume spoke up in defense of Naruto and the new shinobi, even if she was neutral about the situation.
"Naruto has just as much right to be a shinobi as everyone does in this room!" She snarled dangerously, her canine companion ready to strike if need be.
"Naruto is a dangerous person that needs training." Danzo pointed out. "If he was put under my tutelage we could make him-"
"NO!" Sarutobi boomed, startling everyone. "I will not have Naruto turned into a living weapon at your disposal."
The elder kage was no fool to Danzo's old antics of training shinobi into living weapons who are void of emotion. He had a close eye on the crippled veteran and his disbanded root operation, but the only problem with having evidence to prove his suspicions was that he had none whatsoever. And when a single piece of information was found out, it would mysteriously disappear and leave him with nothing to lead on.
"I say we see for ourselves who this Sin is." Chouza suggested, getting incredulous looks from his fellow shinobi. "It couldn't hurt to see if Naruto is doing good with this new sensei of his."
"I have to agree with Chouza." Kurenai nodded.
"I'm all about it too," Anko said with a menacing grin. "Plus I heard he's not your average looker."
At that point the shinobi were agreeing with one another while the village elders were arguing that Naruto needed to removed from the ninja program and locked away for the village's benefit, and that simply led to the same damn argument between them and the shinobi council until Hiashi spoke up to silence the two groups and make them listen to Sarutobi and his suggestion.
"What do you believe we should do?"
Hiashi sighed, knowing he hated being the center attention and Sarutobi just dropped the subject on his shoulders.
"I believe we should take into consideration of assessing this new shinobi with Naruto." Hiashi suggested, knowing besides Sarutobi he had the respect of everyone in the room. "If Naruto is improving then I say let this Sin Firestorm stay and teach him. If not, we will come to an executive decision afterward."
"Then that settles it," Sarutobi said while standing up and snapping his fingers, in which his anbu appeared the next second and bowed. "Anbu, if you would please take us to where Jounin Sin and Genin Naruto are at."
"Right away sir." Dog replied, walking out of the room with everyone following.
A few minutes later and some complaining here and there with village council, Sarutobi and his group made it to training ground forty-four to find to their own shock a newly clothed Naruto struggling to move a single step, as if something invisible was weighing him down, while his teacher stood there with his hand held out and his magic focused on the ground.
"Sensei," Naruto groaned before taking a deep breath and resuming his training. "What's the point of this training right now?"
Sarutobi and the other ninja turned to white-haired immortal who was turned to see them standing behind him. It didn't break his concentration though, that is until he saw the few women taking a good look at him and nearly broke his focus.
Sin coughed and looked away after watching the purple-haired kunoichi lick her lips flirtatiously, a deep red blush on his cheeks.
"The point of gravity training," he had to cough again to regain his composure after the same woman gave him a flirty whistle. "Is to enhance your speed and strength without the use of weights since they only focus on the muscles in your arms and legs. By doing this, you're working every muscle in your body which will enhance your entire to be stronger, faster, and much tougher."
"Gravity Training?" Asuma questioned with his fellow shinobi.
"Basically," Sin started with loud tone. "I'm magnifying the gravity to train Naruto's body, and I have to say I'm surprised how far he is getting."
Sarutobi was now getting some understanding to what Sin was implementing. He could only the rest of the group would catch on as well, but the sheer confusion and shock on their faces did not bode them well.
"And how much have you changed the gravity?"
Sin broke his concentration, giving Naruto a breather. "Right now, Naruto, in the last three hours, has gone from normal gravity to four times the rate."
Hearing that piece of info surprised the old man and some of shinobi council, but it was broken immediately by the one and only canine clan head with her own viewpoint.
"I like him," Tsume hummed with her arms crossed under her chest. "There's something about the guy that makes him alpha material."
"Plus he has a nice ass." Anko added, stunning the males.
"He seems nice and caring about Naruto." Kurenai said with her own view, though she had to agree with her fellow females.
Sin's next step was to make introductions with the other ninja he didn't know, but a surprise roar and a fist connecting with his palm stopped him in his tracks and forced him to turn and assess who it was that just tried to assault him.
"Guy!" Sarutobi barked, but it was already too late with the spandex wearing ninja.
"Greetings newcomer!" Guy bellowed happily, throwing another punch, only to be blocked. "My name is Might Guy, and I challenge you to a spar in test if you're capable of teaching out youthful Naruto."
"What?" Sin tilted his head for a moment before throwing up a knee to block guy's.
Both fighters exchange a flurry of kicks and punches before taking a defensive step away from eachother to examine the other's next move.
"Buddy, you don't know what you're in for." Sin warned, making his new opponent laugh until he released his magic.
"My new friend, do not hold back. Show me just how capable you are at training Naruto."
"Alright." Sin sighed with a grin, his entire form disappearing in a blur of speed that even Guy could not follow.
The youthful beast thought he was going to strike Sin down after hearing a stick break behind him, but all he hit was air and spun back around to find the ageless man standing in front of him with one of Naruto's kunai almost touching his throat.
"You lose."
"Grand Fireball!" Another said, and Sin was throwing an air dome up the next second to protect himself while Guy jumped out of the way. Both ninja turned to find it was Sarutobi who launched the fireball at Sin, and he showed no regret by smiling at him.
"Had to see if you could dodge." He laughed lightly, making Sin laugh with him.
"Sorry old timer, but you gotta do much better than that."
"It seems I would," Sarutobi agreed. "But how about you demonstrate for us."
Sin grinned menacingly and turned to the stream before him. He had just been given permission by the hokage to demonstrate his abilities and show off a little of his power. But that's not what made him happy to give a show, he realized the old man baited him and he bit down without even thinking and now had to make himself known.
Clever old fart
Naruto watched entire scene unfold and was absolutely pumped and stunned at the same time that his sensei just beat the fastest ninja in the village and blocked one of gramp's jutsu, and now he was going to witness what he hoped to be a jutsu or some kind of magic that he could hopefully learn to master and make himself stronger.
Summoning his sword and manipulating the magic into the blade, Sin hastily activated a few seals on the hilt from pure magical energy to circling aura that pulsated around Setsuna. His body twitched with anticipation as he targeted the forest and raised his hands to ensure that what he was about to do did no damage to the grounds. He was certain that Sarutobi wouldn't mind since it was outside of the village
"Element Scar!"
Hearing those words, Naruto and the entire group watched as the man swung his blade downward and roared. Everyone blinked after feeling the pressure around the area skyrocket, and the four elements of nature flew together and cut through the ground before connecting in the middle of the forest and cause an explosion in the distance.
The village council swallowed hard while the jounin and hokage gawked at the destruction Sin just released, his attack leaving four lines that cut deep and wide into the ground. The water that remained was dripping, the air made a cut so clean it was unbelievable, the earth was cratering and the fire was still burning until Sin commanded it to disappear with wave of his hand.
Naruto gulped and ran up to his sensei with excitement as the blade was sheathed. If there was ever a jutsu he wanted to learn, it was definitely that one so he could use to defend his precious people when danger reared it's ugly face.
"You gotta teach me that sensei!" The boy demanded, only to have his hair ruffled once more.
"If your chakra can control the four elements, we'll get you a weapon and I'll teach you more than just the element scar." Sin chuckled, having his hand swat away as the group approached.
Sarutobi went to compliment Sin and ask him to keep that under wraps but was sorely interrupted.
"That man needs to be arrested!" Sakiri screeched, getting an incredulous look from the student and teacher. "He is far too dangerous to have as shinobi teaching that brat there."
"Here we go again." Shikaku grumbled. "Troublesome."
Koharu and Homura joined in on the screaming contest until they found they're lips magically sealed shut and their voices lost by a wave of Sin's hand. Everyone, including Danzo himself, stared in awe of how fast they were silenced then gazed at the man who was using his other to scratch his ear.
"I can turn my own hearing off and I'm pretty sure that bitch there could break the enchantment." Sin complained.
"You beautiful son of a bitch!" Chouza cried, rushing over to shake the man's hand and pat him on the back. "You have no idea how log we've had to deal with her yelling. You're a fucking godsend."
The rest of males, including Kakashi, had to go over and thank their new friend for giving them such a wonderful gift while Sakura glared at Naruto and tried to help her mother regain her ability to speak. But to no avail could she use her chakra to break whatever was done since it did not work with the magic that was keeping her mother quiet.
"Naruto, you idiot!" Sakura screeched with a raised first, rushing over to punch him. "This is all your fault!"
At that moment the clarity of Sin's reason for being there made the jounin come in full circle and nobody, not even Sarutobi could hold back his laughter when the fist that was targeted for the blond genin was blocked and Sakura was thrown over into the water with a loud splash. She was quick to get up but found herself flabbergasted by her ex-teammate scowling at her.
"Keep your filthy hands off of me, Haruno." Naruto hissed, which begged the question: Just how was Sin able to change Naruto from being a puppy following some tail to a dominant male unwilling to take anymore hostility from the girl he chased.
"Holy shit." Asuma breathed, turning to Sin. "What did you do to him?"
"I gave him a lesson." Sin answered, confusing the others. "I told him that if he wanted to be the best then he needs to stop focusing on getting everyone's approval and devote his passion with the actions of a ninja." He turned to face the cigarette smoking ninja. "To stop chasing those who don't care about you and drive yourself to train and fight for those who care about you."
"I'm done taking your crap," Naruto turned to his brooding ex-teammate and sensei. "And I'm done with you two. I'm not going to try and catch up to you, teme. I'm going to surpass you."
"Please," Sasuke scoffed. "A loser like you will never surpass an uchiha."
Those words triggered a wave of emotions within the young jinchuriki, and Sasuke found himself standing before a deadly serious Naruto in the blink of an eye with his sensei surprised by his improved speed.
"Damn," Sin chuckled, watching the blue clothed genin take a step back. "I didn't expect that."
"I think that says enough for all of us." Sarutobi said to get everyone's attention. "It's clearly obvious that Sin is more than capable of teaching Naruto, which is why I am going to instate the two as their own team who will take on missions."
"Actually, there is something I would like to ask." To everyone's surprise it was Hiashi Hyuga who spoke up and approached the new jounin with a calmer look about him. Even Sarutobi was surprised to see that the almighty clan head was approaching to man. He never asked nor demanded from anybody, and here he was needing to ask Sin a question.
He stood face to face with Sin, both carrying dark look for one another until he spoke.
"Is it only Naruto you will be training?"
"Right now it is," Sin answered. "Unless you have someone else who absolutely needs help as well."
"Hiashi," Sarutobi intervened. "What are you thinking?"
Hiashi turned to the kage and spoke politely.
"With your permission, Lord Third, I would like for you to rethink your decision of my daughter being placed with her new sensei."
"What?" Sin, Sarutobi and Kurenai said at the same time.
"Forgive me Kurenai," Hiashi apologized. "But after witnessing what has transpired here, I believe my daughter would gain a greater deal of training should she be trained under this man's tutelage. It's clearly obvious that he can do more than just bring out the potential in our genin."
"You have yet to even allow me to train her." Kurenai countered, feeling a little insulted by his words.
"Yes, but I saw how Naruto did not just change in physique but also personality." Hiashi continued to add his point. "If he can do that to one genin who was severely behind, imagine what he could do for my daughter."
Sarutobi didn't really want to do that to one of his jounin, but Hiashi made very good points and started to ponder what it would be like if Sin was able to change the shy Hyuga heiress into a proper kunoichi. He had already changed Naruto into a stronger and more confident ninja, and that was only one day of training and getting to know him.
"Please," Hiashi beckoned to the genjutsu expert. "I know this insults you, but I would to see my child grow into more than just a kunoichi."
"He's not wrong," Asuma added, convincing both the kage and womanly jounin. "And I don't see a problem with."
"Hang on," Sin interjected, stepping out of the group. "I agreed to train Naruto. There was never an agreement about training two kids, just Naruto and that was it."
"Yes," Sarutobi nodded. "But you have more than proven to be a capable teacher, and it would benefit you if another member was added to your team."
"What about my team?" Kurenai asked angrily, waiting for the old man to answer. Sadly though, it was Danzo who gave her the answer she did not desire.
"I can provide a student I've been watching." Danzo lied, watching his old comrade glare at him. "He's young but he has potential and excellent skills as a shinobi."
From there, Kurenai, Hiashi, and Danzo went to arguing over who got who while Sin and Naruto just watched the old kage lose his patience and flare his killing intent to shut them up.
"Enough!" The kage roared. "The decision is made, and I'm sorry Kurenai but Hiashi has the power to make the change with his position, and there is protocol that states a clan head may change his child's team position should it be within a week of team placement. Sin will take on Hinata as another student and you'll replace her with the genin Danzo recoomends."
He turned to Hiashi and nodded, who oddly smiled to Sin and took him by surprise by bowing for a moment. Unfortunately, that left a steaming Kurenai marching off the grounds and muttering some choice words about men, especially Sin, and how incompetent they can be.
"Excellent, I'll have you appear at my home at nine in the morning to start training my daughter." Hiashi said, though laced with authority.
Sin could not believe what just happened and gawked at Naruto, but he had sympathy coming from him since the blond genin was for some reason was cheering that he would have a cool teammate.
"What the fuck just happened?" He asked himself, unknowing that a certain purple haired woman was about to jump on his shoulders after walking behind him.
Instantly he felt a weight on his shoulders but only moved when a kunai cut his cheek and the culprit licked his cut before it healed the next second. He looked and saw the woman giving him a mischievous grin.
"Hi!"
"Uh. . . hi." Sin hesitating, feeling her legs tighten around his neck. "What the fuck was that for?"
"You taste good." She rolled forward and landed on her feet, spinning on her heels to face him. "Names Anko Mitarashi, sexiest kunoichi in the land of fire and aspiring interrogation unit. I didn't expect much but I got the opposite. Gotta say, I'm liking what I'm seeing."
"Yeah," Sin droned, looking down to his giggling student. "Let's call it day."
Without another word to say, Sin was left with more questions and his student teasing him about how Anko liked him. He could only shake his head and groan whilst leaping back over the wall to the village, leaving the group to talk about him and Anko to talk about him with Tsume.
"I'm going to have fun with him." Anko added, getting a laugh from her friend.
"Who said you're the only one?" Tsume asked, smiling deviously.
