SECOND YEAR

God I am so looking forward to spring break. I was going to tag along with Kirishima on his camping trip but since Bakugou was going I decided to pass. He has been getting better over the years but 3 days with no internet, no electric with him in the woods would be a bit much. My cell rings as I get closer to the house.

"Hello," I greet.

"Hey what you up to?" asked Shinsou. I am more than thrilled he called me. I gave him my number a while back. He will text here and there. Only once he started training in the hero course with my class did we get a little closer.

"Not sure," I reply with a shrug. "I was just going to stay home this week."

"I know campus is going to be empty but that's the fun part," he replies. "I actually got invited down to the beach for the week."

"Are you serious!" I exclaim. Shinsou is not close to many people so this is surprising to me.

"Yeah," he replies. "Tamaki and Mirio invited me. I wasn't sure if I was going to do it at first but then they told me some girls are coming too."

"Ohhh…." I reply. I know Shinsou is rather lonely and would like a companion. It's understandable.

"I'm actually excited," he reveals. "I was calling because I wanted to know did you want to tag along?"

"Really!" I exclaim.

"Yup," he replies. "I told the guys I would invite you. Tamaki thinks Deku will be a real hit with the ladies." I chuckle.

"Let me ask my mom and I will get back to you," I reply. I end the call making my way home quickly. I get home to see mom running around the living room.

"Where did I put my purse?" she questions out loud.

"It's on the side of the sofa close to the TV," I reply.

"Oh thank goodness," replies mom. She grabs her purse from the floor. "Your father flight comes in late tonight."

"Okay," I reply sliding off my backpack. "I was hoping I could join some of my friends."

"I don't see why not," replies mom grabbing her car keys. "What will you all be doing?"

"We are going to the beach for 5 days," I explain. "We would leave on Monday return Friday."

"Oh sweetheart I don't feel comfortable with that," she says.

"What?" I say in shock. My mom supports me. In everything I do. Huh?

"Izuku, you are still young," she replies. "You are only in your 2nd year. Maybe when you are 18 and older okay." I didn't think my mom would say no. I'm so disappointed. "Don't feel bad sweetie." She walks over kissing my forehead. "We will do something great this week I promise. I have to go cover a coworkers shift." My mom leaves without another word. I continue to my room tossing my backpack across the room. The one time I really wanted to do something. What the hell. I pout walking over to my computer deciding to do some online gaming.

I look through my online account trying to decide which one I want to play. I decide to go with a fantasy game wanting a break from the real world a little bit. I can't help but wonder how my spring break with the other guys if I could have gone. My phone starts to ring breaking into my thoughts. I see Todoroki is calling me. He never calls me.

"Hey," I greet quickly.

"Midoriya…." he says with his voice so horse.

"Are you okay?" I ask immediately standing up.

"N-no…" he coughs. "I need help."

"Where are you?" I say walking into the front room. I'm putting on my jacket with one arm not wanting to end the call.

"I don't know to be honest," he replies. "I-I just had to get out of there. He was taking things too far." I know who he is referring to. We never speak on the issues Todoroki has with his father. I like to make him forget he must live with that monster. I slide my shoes on quickly.

"I'm coming to meet you," I explain. I run outside to see the clouds are getting darker. Shit it is going to storm. "Pull up your google maps and tell me where you are." Todoroki does what I ask. He is not too far from me thank god. Twenty minutes walking. I decide to use my quirk a tiny bit as I begun to sprint towards him. I get to Todoroki in 10 shaving the time in half. I arrive to a tree with some bushes but I don't see Todoroki.

"Over here….." he says lowly. I walk around seeing Todoroki sitting on the ground.

"Oh my god…" I mutter. I couldn't keep my thoughts to myself. His eye is almost shut from how swollen it is. His knuckles are bruised and bleeding.

"I got some hits on him," he states. "Sadly, I had to take a hit but it was worth it. He wouldn't stop coming at me though, so I thought it was best to leave. Can you help me up?"

"Yeah," I reply walking over to him. I grab Todoroki hand pulling him up to his feet. He groans as I do this. "Are you sure you don't need to see a doctor?"

"Positive," he mutters. "I-I just need some rest. Need to get cleaned up." I stare at him as he begins to walk with a slight limp.

"Todoroki….." I sigh.

"I can handle it," he replies knowing what I was going to say. I feel a raindrop hit my nose causing me to look up. The drops begin to fall faster. Todoroki looks up at the sky. "Fucking really…."

"Climb on my back," I instruct. "I can take it." The rain has quickly turned into a downpour. Todoroki doesn't argue climbing on my back. He feels heavy with our clothes becoming soaked. I am going to have to be careful as the pavement can be slippery when wet. I take off running and not sprinting due to the rain. I get to the apartment in 5 minutes. I knew I couldn't stop so I slow my run down the closer I got. I let Todoroki get down once at the apartment building.

"Thank you," he says shivering.

"No problem," I reply heading into the building. I walk slowly so Todoroki can keep up with me. I unlock the door letting him inside.

"Where's your mom?" he asked.

"She had to cover a shift," I explain. "My dad will be here in the morning though." Todoroki nods.

"God we're dripping everywhere," he states looking at the puddle we created.

"Gah!" I exclaim. "Bathroom now!" Todoroki and I crowd into our main hall bathroom. "Sorry mom had the air blasting in here. My dad likes for it to be cold in here." He nods pulling his shirt over his head. I cover my mouth as I see his back covered in bruises.

"I'm fine," mutters Todoroki not even glancing my way.

"How did….."

"I could hear your breathing change," he replies with his back still next to me. Todoroki drops his shorts revealing a vice nicely toned ass I must say. "I hope you don't mind if I get in the shower first."

"U-Um no….." I reply trying to my eyes off his ass but I can't. Todoroki steps into the shower.

"You should at least remove your wet clothes if you aren't going to get in the shower," says Todoroki.

"Yeah…." I mutter blushing as I remove my clothes. God it's so fucking cold in here. I realize it more so now that I'm completely naked. "Damnit…"

"You can get in," says Todoroki. "I'm almost done."

"A-Are you sure?" I stammer.

"I am," he replies. "Unless this makes you uncomfortable."

"No, it doesn't," I reply. "I just don't want to crowd you."

"You won't," he replies. I pull back the shower curtain. Todoroki continues to wash his chest not even looking at me. My eyes travel his body as I reach for a wash cloth. I blush quickly grabbing it as I slip falling into Todoroki's back.

"Ha..shit!" I cry trying to stand up. I'm so nervous I keep slipping making me grip Todoroki shoulders tighter. Todoroki chuckles. I finally manage to stand up. I catch my breath before speaking. "I'm so sorry!"

"It was an accident," he replies reaching for his usual towel. I look at him realizing I grabbed his bruises making me feel worse. Todoroki heads out the bathroom. I begin to shower thinking about how his fights are getting more intense. I'm very worried and glad we stay on campus. Spring break is just starting, and his dad is already trying to beat the hell out of him. So many people admire Endeavor but if they knew what kind of person, he really was they wouldn't feel the same way. At times he will try to be the best father he can be to Todoroki. Other times not so much…

My mind can't help but think back to how soft his body felt despite the bruises. I begin to blush thinking about how great his glutes are. I rub my cheeks glad that I'm alone. I mutter to myself when I realize I am becoming erect. I rub my eyes deciding to ignore it. I'm sure I will call down in a minute.

"Midoriya, I sat your clothes here for you," says Todoroki.

"Um thanks," I reply turning my back to the shower curtain as if he can see me.

"I'm going to take this first aid kit working on what I can," he explains.

"I will help you with the rest when I get out," I reply.

"Okay," he replies. "I have some tea going as well." I smile as he always must have his tea when he comes over. I finish my shower with my mind still filled heavily with Todoroki. I just wish I could make his life better. It's amazing how some people think he has everything but he really doesn't. I open the room to my door and Todoroki is on his phone under the covers. He looks so….cute. He glances at me. My heart falls seeing his eyes. The swelling has gone down a little but not a lot.

"You need an ice bag," I tell him walking over.

"I know but I don't want to," he replies. "It helps me to remember to never allow my old man to get his hands on me." That makes my heart hurt hearing him say this. "Would you mind getting my back?" I walk over towards my bed as Todoroki faces away from me. The bruises are beginning to darken. I touch his back with my fingertips softly. I hear Todoroki gasp lightly making me pull my hand away.

"I'm sorry did I hurt you?" I ask.

"No," he mutters dropping his head. I inspect his back.

"Everything looks good minus the marks," I reply. Todoroki nods looking over his shoulder.

"I ordered us ramen," he replies. "I hope you don't mind."

"No, not at all," I reply. "You know you can always get what you want when you're here." Todoroki nods.

"I moved your bag for you," he replies. "It was in the corner."

"Oh," I reply noticing he placed my bag in its usual spot when I stay home. He's so thoughtful.

"What happened?" he asks.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well the bag was tossed in the corner like you were mad," he replies. I roll my eyes remembering how it ended up over there.

"Well yeah…." I reply sitting on the bed. "I was invited to go to the beach for 5 days, but my mom said no. Only when I'm 18 can I go off with my friends."

"You sound like you really wanted to go," states Todoroki.

"I did," I reply. "It was Mirio, Tamaki and Shinsou. I mean it sounds the experience of a lifetime. I want to experience that."

"You have time to," replies Todoroki.

"Doesn't feel like it," I reply.

"Tell you what," says Todoroki. "When we graduate why don't we go to the beach. I have never been, neither have you. I'm sure I am cooler than those guys." Todoroki puffs out his chest making me laugh.

"You're cracking jokes now," I say in between giggles.

"I can joke," he scoffs. "But I was serious about the trip to the beach." I glance at Todoroki realizing he was indeed serious.

"Okay," I reply before smiling. "We have to promise we will both live to see that happen." I gaze at Todoroki with my heart fluttering. "Please don't let anything happen to you…if you can." Todoroki is staring at me. He blushes making me glance away. I'm afraid…I'm afraid his father is going to accidently kill him one day. I can't let that happen.

"I promise," he replies. There is a knock at the front door pulling me from my thoughts. "Ramen is here. I'll get it." Todoroki quickly walks away. I sit on my bed thinking about everything he just said. Pretty cool. My 3rd year I not only get to go to the beach I get to go with my best friend. I smile to myself already planning everything I want us to do.
