My name is Skyler Uzumaki, I am 18 years old and a senior at Konoha high. I have blood-red hair, I stand about 5'2 and have a curvy "chubby" body. My little brother Naruto is my complete opposite in most ways. He is a junior with blonde hair, stands 5'11, and is in good shape.

It was the first day of school, Naruto was bouncing around excited and I didn't want to get out of bed. I woke up when he jumped on my bed shaking me awake if I didn't love him so much he would have been dead a long time ago.

"Okay, I am awake get out!" I groan out.

He ran out and down the stairs.

Nine months ago my mom, dad, Naruto and myself were going out as a family to celebrate my parents' 20th anniversary when a drunk driver ran a red light crashing into the front of our vehicle, my mother in the passenger seat died moments after impact my father died about a week later from internal damage. Naruto and I came out with minor scratches and bruises.

I was able to see my dad one time before he died. The last thing he said to me was, "I love you, my princess, never live with regrets and never be afraid to show people you care. Please smile when you think of me don't remember how I look now, remember all the good times we had as a family. Promise me that you will take good care of your brother we all know he can't manage alone." He chuckled then started coughing up blood. I screamed for someone to help him but on that day, I watch my father die choking on his blood.

That memory will forever haunt my mind, I have always had to be strong. I never show my weak side to Naruto because I am not sure what he will do. I was a daddy's girl there was no doubt about that so I tried to be caring but I just kept getting hurt, whether it was by my best friend Ino who betrayed me, my first boyfriend Sai who cheated on me with said friend, or the death of most of our remaining family members, lead me to be closed off from most people around me. They only two people I show any care in this world about, they are my little brother and my best friend since 2nd grade Kankuro.

I walked out of my room at about 8:15 with jeans a black tank top with a long fishnet shirt under it, jeans, and black and purple tennis shoes.

"Naruto are you ready to go yet?" I yelled from the top of the stairs.

"Yeah, I'm in the kitchen finishing my ramen." He replied.

I grabbed my backpack and headed downstairs, I walked into the kitchen to see Naruto had already started the coffee, did I mention I love this idiot? I grabbed my travel cup filled it and then grabbed a yogurt for breakfast. I sat down at the island across from him and just bobbed my head to the rhythm of whatever song was playing and we ate in silence for a few minutes.

"Are you nervous Sky? I heard that the boarding school across town is combining with our school this year."

"Nah, it can't be that bad just don't get yourself into trouble. I don't want to have to save you again."

"I could have taken him on if you didn't interfere."

"Neji was going to kick your ass Naru, you know that as well as I do." He hmphed and finished his ramen.

I grabbed my car keys and headed out to my black Dodge Neon. It isn't fancy, but it gets me where I need to go. Naruto has yet to get his license, nor do I think it is a good idea for him too. I would always be worried he was screwing around behind the wheel and get himself killed.

Naruto climbs into the passenger seat with his backpack and we head off to school. Once I pulled into the parking lot I saw how many rich fancy cars there were and groaned, maybe having snobs here would be annoying. I parked way off in no mans' land not wanting to deal with people. We got out of my car right as a black hummer swung into the lot and parked right next to Naruto's door, close enough for him to have to jump back against my car.

I was cranky already it was too early and some jack ass is trying to hit my brother. I grabbed my stuff and stood by my car waiting for the asshole to get out of the hummer. Naruto was by my side as the driver and passenger doors opened and out came a guy with black hair in a low ponytail and then another guy who must have been his brother with black hair spiked in the back.

I stormed over dragging Naruto with me, "come on Sky no fighting on the first day please."

"He almost hit you with a car don't take it so lightly Naru." I continue to storm over finally I was face to chest with the guy with the ponytail. He looked down at me, summing me up as I did the same to him. He was in black slacks with a chain from a belt loop to what I guess was a wallet and a plain dark blue polo shirt.

"Hey, bitch-boy what the hell do you think you were doing almost hitting my brother?! Why couldn't you park your beast over with all your other rich snobby friends?" I growled up at him, he must have been 6' at least.

"I didn't almost hit your brother." His cool monotone voice pissed me off more. The other guy who had black spikey hair that looked like a duck's butt was next to him seemed amused.

"Well, you certainly didn't attempt to avoid him."

"He is unharmed, I am not seeing the problem." He replied sounding smug.

"Okay let's get something straight, here in the normal world we don't speed into parking lots not caring who might be getting out of the car next to us. We do not act like we rule the world, and everyone is below us, and we most certainly apologize if we almost hit someone with a car!" With each comment, I poked his chest.

He just looked down at me with a smirk on his face, "do you have any idea who I am?"

"No, and to be honest I couldn't care less."

"I am Itachi Uchiha an heir of Uchiha Industries,"

I just looked at him and smirked, "well Uchiha, I am Skyler Uzumaki the older sister of the guy you almost hit and the one that wants to kick your rich, snobby ass back to your school where you belong,"

Naruto was behind me just watching not sure what to say. "You will apologize to my brother you damned Uchiha and you will make sure not to do it again." I huffed.

"Very well, I am sorry I nearly hit you with my vehicle, and I am even sorrier you have to deal with this every day." He was looking at Naruto. I was about to punch him in the face when I felt two sets of hands grab me.

"Sky, don't start the school year out like last year." I heard a familiar tone from behind me, when I realize that it was Kankuro and his little brother Gaara who had stopped me, I calmed down a little. Kankuro had been my best friend since we were two, and Gaara who was Naruto's best friend since birth.

"Let me go, I'm cool." They did but stood in the same place. I glared back at the Uchiha, "you are lucky they stopped me, guys let's go I can't stand in the stench of his cologne anymore." I walked away Kankuro, Gaara, and Naruto in tow.

Itachi's POV

I heard my brother chuckle behind me, "this is going to be an interesting year." I 'hn'd' grabbed my backpack and headed to the school my group in tow. 'Well isn't she a fascinating one, not caring about who I am only standing up for her brother, she might be psychotic though.' We got to the office for our class schedules, which is when I saw her again standing in the group of guys.

I heard the secretary say, "Skyler and gentlemen would you mind showing these nice people to their classes?" She turned her head and her eyes met mine again.

"Yeah, we'll do it, Mrs. Taylor." I heard her reply, I think this is the first time I haven't heard her growl out an answer.

"Oh, thank you, Skyler, you are such a lovely young lady." I couldn't help but smirk.

She glared at me, "got a problem with it Uchiha because I would be more than happy to let you guys figure it out yourself."

"I am perfectly fine with you guys showing us around," I replied. Right then two girls one with pink hair the other with blonde came bouncing up to us, "you guys must be the transfers from Suna boarding school!" the blonde squealed.

"Oh, my who knew they would be so hot?" The other replied.

"Hey, slut barbie, bubble whore, bitch-boy and duck-butt don't want your STD infected juices slobbered on them." I heard Skyler say. This made the two girls huff and stomp away.

"What nicknames, standing up for me, now are you?" I ask eyebrow raised.

She glared, " I call people how I see them and let's get this straight Uchiha, I hate you, but I detest them. Give me your schedule." I handed it to her.

"Uchiha your first period is with me and Kuro. Little Uchiha your first period is with Naruto and Gaara, follow them." I ignore the rest of the directions she gave, I just stared at her. I was snapped out of my daze with the sound of a bell, as I followed her to calculus.

Sky's POV

I instructed Naruto and Gaara to meet back here after the class so my job was done. I headed towards Mrs. Dodd's math class. As soon as we walked in I heard Mrs. Dodd's chipper voice saying, "oh these must be one of the students from Suna, welcome please introduce yourself. Ms. Uzumaki, sit down you did your job." We do not get along I liked doing the math the way I want to if it came to the correct answer, so I never try in her class I either fall asleep, listen to my iPod or doodle on the assignments she gives us. I sat in the middle seat of an empty table in the back, as I ignored the class around me.

"I'm Itachi Uchiha."

"Well thank you, now go find a seat, please. Skyler, get your feet off that chairs, so Mr. Uchiha can sit there." My name being called brings me back to reality.

"Sorry Mrs. Dodd's but these seats are reserved for footstools."

"Don't start this already Ms. Uzumaki I will send you to Tsunade's office in a heartbeat."

"Oh, don't be a hater Mrs. Dodd's, you should lighten up and release some of your sexual tension." She was turning red in the face while the rest of the class was chuckling.

"Ms. Uzumaki remove your feet from that chair or go to Tsunade's office."

"Fine don't explode." I removed my feet slowly. The other tables were full even though each table had three people on one side. Itachi sat next to me as Kankuro sat on the other side of me. The class went on and I fell asleep listening to my iPod, the bell finally rang and Kankuro nudged me with his elbow waking me up.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I am going Kuro." I got up and headed back to where we were supposed to be meeting again. I ended up with both of them with me in biology. We walked in, Mr. Anderson smiled at us, "you must be the new students from Suna, introduce yourself please."

"I am Itachi Uchiha.

"I am Sasuke Uchiha.

"Oh, brothers how exciting! Thank you, gentlemen, you will be partnered with Ms. Uzumaki since you already know each other." I just looked at Mr. Anderson, great just what I wanted. The brothers walked to my table and sat on either side of me.

"Okay, kids we are going to start this year out in a fun way we are going to dissect a pig." He was very happy about this. He handed each group a pig I grabbed it before the brothers could get their gloves on. I picked the piglet up and started moving it, so it looked like it was dancing. I was having way too much fun with it but hey what is the point of a dead thing if you can't make it dance?

"What are you doing?" The younger Uchiha asked. "I am playing with our pig what does it look like?" I laughed.

"You aren't supposed to touch it yet and you aren't even wearing gloves." He grimaced.

"Duck-butt, you're not a germaphobe, are you? Oh, are you grossed out by the dead pig? Dang bitch-boy it could be your child." I made the dead pig dance until it was close to Sasuke who was sliding away from it, as I felt Itachi's glare on my back.

"Aw come on little Uchiha it could be your niece don't be afraid of her." I laughed. After that statement, I heard yelling in the hallway I got up Itachi and Sasuke right on my heels to see what it was. In the middle of the group were Naruto and some boy I didn't know fighting.

I pushed my way through the crowd the Uchiha brothers still on my heels, once I got to my brother fighting a guy twice his size.

"Get off of him!" I yell pulling the bigger guy off my brother catching him by surprise. Within moments he was lunging for my brother again from behind me. I turn around with my fist clenched, his momentum and mine colliding as I feel his nose collapse under my fist. He crumpled to the floor, blood flowing with no sign of stopping, I kneeled to see my brother with a split lip, bloody nose, and black eye.

Naru what happened?" I asked concern in my voice.

"He was talking shit," He whispered.

"Itachi, Sasuke help me get him up." They did so without a word each of them holding him up on one side.

"Bring him to the bench. Be gone your worthless skin sacks," I snapped at the crowd as they got him seated finishing with a mumble as I walk over to check on my brother, no concern with large student curled up on the ground.

"Hey, can you do me a favor?" I directed the question to Itachi and Sasuke, they just nodded yes.

"Itachi can you get my backpack from class? Sasuke can you go to the boys' bathroom and get me some wet and dry paper towels?" They nodded and headed out.

Once they left, I just hugged Naruto, his head was on my shoulder and I felt his tears on my skin.

"I miss them Sky, I miss them so much I know it has almost been a year but not a day goes by I don't think of them." He whimpered.

"Shh, I know I miss them too, but we have to be strong," I said being strong like always.

"Why did they have to be taken away from us? Why did he take our family away?"

"I don't know Naru, no one has the answer but hey look at me." He raised his head.

"You still have me, I will always be your family. I will always protect you, we will be okay and together we will get through all this I promise." He nodded and hugged me again. Little did I know Itachi, and Sasuke heard most of our conversation. The slowly walked towards us, Itachi with my backpack and Sasuke with wet and dry paper towels.

I grabbed the towels with a nod of thanks and washed the blood off his face, he flinched a few times. Then I got into my backpack and got the first aid pack, there was a break it ice pack. Where you break the center and gas is released and it becomes a cold pack.

"Hold this on your eye so there isn't much swelling." He did what he was told, and I put ointment on his lip.

"Hey, guys do you think you can help me get him to the nurse's office?" They just nodded and got on both sides Naruto put an arm around each of their shoulders and limped to the nurse's office me in front ready to explain what happened.

We dropped him off and started to walk out of the office, instead of going back to class I headed to the roof. I didn't notice the brothers following me until I sat down on the bench.

"You didn't have to follow me, but thanks for helping me with him," I said looking over the area, you could see a lot of the town from the roof it was peaceful.

"It was no problem, are you okay?" Itachi asks looking at my hand, Sasuke nodded silently in agreement.

"Oh, it looks like I might have a few bruises for a while. It is just me and him, it is my responsibility to take care of and protect him. Sorry, I shouldn't be telling you this, you don't even know me or like me. I am just going to head to class." I say making and releasing a fist with a little discomfort but I was sure I didn't break anything. I walked back to science, the brothers followed without a word, Mr. Anderson stopped the lecture when we walked back in.

"How are you and your brother Skyler? Juggo is a big guy to be fighting."

"We will be fine Mr. Anderson, it is the other guy you should be worried about but please continue the lecture," I said quietly. He just nodded and continued, I just rested my head on my crossed arms. I felt someone soothingly rubbing my back, I knew from the direction the arm was going that it was Sasuke. I just closed my eyes and went to sleep, I ended up dreaming about my dad in the hospital. I felt someone lightly shake me to wake me up, I sat up fast with tears in my eyes. I looked around and saw it was the room was empty but Itachi, Sasuke, and myself.

We walked out of the classroom when we met up with everyone else I said, "Kuro can you help these guys figure out who is showing them where to go for this period? I have to go check on my brother." I ask receiving a nod for confirmation.

"Do you want someone to go with you?" Sasuke asked.

"No, I will be fine, I'll see you guys later," I say walking away.

I walked away and went to the office, "Hey Shizune is Naruto okay?"

"He needs to go to the doctors, to get a checkup."

"Okay, I'll take him. Naruto are you ready to go?"

"Mhmm" He was a little out of it from pain.

I helped walk him to the car, how were we supposed to pay for a checkup? We lived off the state getting just enough money to pay for electricity and water, sometimes. Plus, food stamps but, we don't have medical insurance. He needs it though I guess I'll just have to get another job or do something. I took him to the hospital and waited in the room with him, the doctor came in and check him over.

"Well it seems the kid did a number on your brother, he has a slight concussion, a sprained wrist, and some lacerations. I have set support for his wrist, but he still needs to be careful with his head." I nodded.

"Thank you, doctor, come on Naruto."

He followed leaning on me, we stepped out of the office to see the Uchiha brothers. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked trying to hold Naruto up.

"We came to see if he was okay and if you need anything," Itachi said looking at me.

"No, you have done a lot as is, plus why are you being nice to me after I bitched you out just this morning," I said leaning against the railing holding Naruto up

"You are struggling to keep your brother and you standing, let us help you," Itachi said signaling for Sasuke to support Naruto. When Sasuke started standing Naruto up I fell forward almost off the steps. Itachi caught me which cause me to scream and pull back fast causing me to lose my balance falling back and hitting my head against the top step.

I woke up in the room I swore I just left with Naruto from. I looked around and saw Itachi in the chair to my right.

"Damn I have a headache, what happened?"

"What do you remember?" Itachi asked. "I was coming out of the doctor's office to take Naruto home, but you guys were there." I stopped and hid my face, I remembered falling into Itachi.

"Do you remember anything else?" Itachi asked.

"I fell on you," I said trying to come off as uncaring.

"Then you screamed, pushed off me, and fell back hitting your head."

My eyes widened, "where is my brother?"

"Calm down, Sasuke took him to our house."

"Well, then I am going to go get my brother and go to bed when I get home hoping this whole day was a dream. A terrible realistic painful dream." I started to walk out but my head was a little fuzzy, so I stumbled. Itachi reached out and grabbed my arm, "let me help."

"Okay," I whispered.

I expected him to just help me get to my car but instead, he picked me up bridal style. I squeaked and held on tight, so I didn't fall or even come close to it.

"You are going to strangle me," Itachi said looking down at me.

"Sorry, I don't like my feet being off of solid surfaces," I say while loosening my grip only slightly. We got to the car and he put me down.

"You are not fit enough to drive."

"I am fine."

"Get into the passenger seat. I will be driving your car to my house." Itachi replied. I hmphed and got into the passenger seat.

We finally got to what I guessed was their house. It was huge, it was beautiful with mouth agape I took in the sight.

"You know if you leave your mouth open long enough you'll catch a fly." Itachi laughed.

"Oh, shut up, you could have told me your house was a mansion," I said smacking him.

"I said I was an Uchiha I figured you'd put it together." I smacked him again and started to walk to the door.

"Naru!" I called out to him.

"Sky you're here you should see this house it is amazing! You should see Sasuke's room it is the size of our house!" He was overly excited.

"That is nice Naru, now it is time to leave these people alone and go home."

"But Sky I want to stay here for a little while, please?"

"Naruto," I said warningly.

"Yes, Skyler I'll go get my coat." He crept up the stairs.

"Thank you for your hospitality but I have to get Naruto home, I have work tonight."

"You work?" Itachi asked surprised.

"Yes, I work have to pay the bills somehow right?"

"Why not keep him here? Sasuke and I can keep an eye on him so he doesn't hurt himself further." I thought about it for a little and nodded waiting for Naruto to come down.

"You're going to stay here tonight," I say once I see him descending the grand staircase.

"Sky you are letting me stay?" I nodded. He ran and hugged me then turned around and raced back up the stairs.

I got to the diner right on time to start my shift. After my 8-hour shift, it was midnight. I got home and realized how quiet it was without Naruto here, I kind of missed him. I headed to bed and fell fast asleep until my alarm woke me up the next morning.

I didn't want to get up this morning, but somehow, I talked myself into doing it. I got up and took a shower falling in love with the hot water running over my tired body. I missed hearing Naruto's snoring and yelling at me to get up because he refused to walk to school.

I chuckled a little at the brat's attitude I never realized how much I missed him until he wasn't here. Finally, I was dressed in a black denim skirt with chains on it and a black shirt with red roses with a full black of lace and my air walks. I walked out to my car and headed back to school wondering what would happen today.

I pulled into the parking lot of the school blasting music. I pulled into the spot I parked yesterday I see Naruto hanging out with Itachi and Sasuke. I jump out and run to him hopping on to his back hanging on to his neck his arms under my knees.

"Well hello to you too Sky." He chuckles.

"Hiya brat face you can never leave again," I say laughing a little.

"Awe did you miss me?" He asked with a huge cheesy grin.

"Damn straight bro." I finally get off his back and just stand next to him.

"Sup Uchihas?" I got a not much from Sasuke and Itachi shaking his head at me.

"How's your hand?" I hear the little Uchiha ask.

"A little sore but what can you expect when completely crush the cartridge of someone's nose?" I say shrugging.

"How adorable, a midget." A guy with black spike hair said in passing. I stopped in my tracks, yes, I was short, but no one was ever stupid enough to make fun of me for it.

I turn slowly towards him as did Naruto, "what did you call my sister?" I heard Naruto growl. He didn't care if people made fun of him, but he got mad when they made fun of me. Itachi, Sasuke, Kankuro, and Gaara were looking on in amusement as we slowly made our way over to the dude.

"I dare you to repeat that," I said getting right up into his personal space Naruto not too far behind me. "I-I-I didn't mean anything by it." I heard the kid stutter out.

"I should pound you into the ground for saying shit like that to my sister." Naruto was glaring at him as was I, right before we could start beating him up we both were stopped, someone wrapped their arms around my waist and lifted me off the ground enough I couldn't touch, as I saw Sasuke grab Naruto's arm to stop him.

"Put me down," I growl. Naruto seemed to calm down as soon as Sasuke touched him. I always knew he was gay, but I wondered what happened between him and Sasuke last night.

"I won't put you down till you calm down Sky." I heard a deep voice say very quietly.

"Put me down, you damned Uchiha," I say again just angrier this time.

"I can't let you beat up Tobi, no matter how entertaining it might be." He said right by my ear in a whisper no one else could have heard. His voice was deep, smooth, and relaxing, as was the way he held me and his aroma he smelt like the cinnamon. I shook my head trying to get myself to stop thinking about him like that. He finally let my feet touch the ground but had his arms around my waist still and for some reason I didn't have a problem with it.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you." I heard the Tobi say to Itachi and Sasuke.

"Don't do it again Tobi." I heard Itachi say darkly.

"Is there a problem here?" A teacher asked.

"I always cause a problem, don't you know that by now Mr. Morgan?" I ask jokingly causing him to shake his head and walk into the school without another word. Itachi finally let go of me I wanted to whine, it had been a long time since I was held like that.

We all headed to our classes Naruto walked me to Mrs. Dodd's class, "Naru, so what happened between you and Sasuke last night." I asked wondering if my suspicions were right.

"I like him Sky, like possibly like, like him." I smile and hug him close, "that is great Naru." He nodded hugging me back and we split ways. I sat in the back next to Kankuro like normal falling to sleep on his shoulder. He never seemed to care but he was a lot more comfortable than the table.

"Ms. Uzumaki!" My head shot up, "I didn't do it! I was asleep!" Was my first response, the class laughed I finally got awake enough to figure out where I was and what was going on.

"Aw Mrs. Dodd's I was sleeping," I whine.

"I noticed that but that is not allowed in my class you should know better."

"Fine, I am awake what do you want?"

"I would like you to repeat what I said was the assignment."

"Um," I look around and saw a paper by Kankuro, "read chapters 45 and answers the chapter questions," I say pretending to be smart.

"Very good Ms. Uzumaki, still no sleeping in my class." She said turning back to the board lecturing. I looked over to Kankuro who was spacing out but looking at the board.

"I love you, your note-taking, and your shoulder," I whisper. He looked at me and raised an eyebrow, I just pointed to the assignment he wrote down and laid my head back on his shoulder momentarily.

"I got your back, you know that." I hear him whisper back. I couldn't help but chuckle, finally, the bell rang, and I dragged myself to biology plopped down, and tried to fall back to sleep if the rest of the class would shut up.

"Someone looks tired." I heard a sarcastic voice say and knew it had to be Sasuke.

"Shut up, little Uchiha. You try working till midnight then doing two hours of homework, to just have to turn around and do it again." I heard him chuckle as he lifted my head and put his backpack under my head. I mumbled a thank you and tried to sleep again. I slept through that class as well until I felt Sasuke poke me.

"I'm awake," I said groggily.

"That is not very convincing." I heard Itachi say. I sat up and pushed Sasuke's backpack to him and headed to my next class I was sadly in alone. I sat at one of the tables in the corner trying to go back to sleep.

As soon as the bell rang I headed to the lunchroom slowly. I didn't even bother eating but waited for the rest of the group to come. When we finally got outside I sat in between Kankuro and Gaara.

"Sky, you look like hell." Naruto felt the need to say.

"Well thank you captain fucking obvious," I say glaring at my brother who was sitting next to Gaara. The Uchiha brothers caught up with their Suna friends.

"Someone is grumpy."

"Naruto, I'm going to kick your ass if you don't shut up. Kuro I'm going to use you for my pillow kay, kay." I said leaning against him head on his shoulder. I was about asleep when I hear Sakura's and Ino's voices coming closer.

"Why the hell did it have to be today?" I ask sitting up.

"Aw well isn't that precious, little Skyler has a new boyfriend," Sakura said putting a hand on her hip

"Kill me now," I whisper.

"Oh, and it looks like her brother does too," Ino said chuckling. Itachi saw them coming over to my little group and decided to see what was going on, Sasuke following him.

"Hi, Tachi-kins," Sakura says all sweetly.

"Hello Sakura" Itachi replies in a monotone voice.

"I'm having a party Saturday you should come" Sakura comments.

"No thank you." I bust out laughing.

"Shut up!" Ino and Sakura say at the same time.

Sakura walked closer and ran her hand over Itachi's hair flicking his ponytail slightly. "It could be so much fun," she says seductively. I just raise an eyebrow and watch the scene unfold. Itachi just stares at Sakura seeming to contemplate what to do next.

"Skyler, are you going?" Itachi asked looking back at me.

"You're funny, I would rather catch on fire," I said rolling my eyes.

"Then we will pass as well," Itachi says fixing his backpack.

"Because she isn't going? I know you are new here, but you realize she is the lamest person in this school, right? You aren't dating her are you?" Sakura asks looking at him.

"No, we are not a couple, but she seems more respectable than you two," Itachi replied with no hesitation.

I was so focused on what was happening before me it took Kankuro standing up to knock me out of my trance. I turn my head to see everyone else staring as Kankuro is walking away.

"Be gone pests," I say to Ino and Sakura. They walk away whining about the whole ordeal.

"Well then, time for class," I say heading back into the school. In the next period, I couldn't stop thinking about the words that Itachi said. When the end of the class bell rang I grabbed my bag and hurried to my locker.

"Have you seen Kankuro?" Gaara asks.

"No, why?"

"He wasn't in class."

"Oh, weird." I headed up to the roof. I opened the door and I saw Kankuro standing by the railing.

"Hiya. What's wrong Kuro?" I ask standing shoulder to shoulder with him.

"Do you like Itachi?" He asked quietly.

"I don't know I haven't thought about it. I have so many more things to worry about."

He 'hn'd' again.

"I hate when you do that Kuro!" I say as a strong breeze rushes past me chilling me to the bone. Without saying anything Kankuro took off his hoodie and handed it to me.

"You'll get a cold," I said trying to hand it back.

"I'm fine," He says. I put on the nice warm hoodie that was 3 times my size.

"Kankuro," I say turning towards him. He turned his head and looked down at me as I continue.

"Are you okay?"

"Yea."

"Why weren't you in the last class?"

"I needed to think."

"About what?"

"You." This caught me by surprise. I was about to ask why when he leaned his head down kissing me. His kiss was needy like he wasn't sure how to voice how he felt. Reality hit me like a freight train, that I was kissing my best friend causing me to pull away quickly.

"I'm sorry. You have been my friend forever and I never had the nerve to tell you, I have loved you since 5th grade. When Itachi said what he did to Sakura there was a light in your eyes I haven't seen in a long time and I realized I missed my chance to tell you." I hear him whisper.

"Oh, Kuro you're my best friend ever. I would never want to jeopardize that." I say laying a hand on his cheek which he leaned into. The bell rang meaning we had one period of the school day left. I took off the hoodie and handed it back as we walked back into the school. I was so caught up in my thoughts I didn't even notice walking right past Naruto.

"Sky!" I hear a familiar whine.

"Sorry Naru, what's up?" I ask looking to see the larger man from yesterday. I glare staring him down as I see bandaging all around his nose, both eyes black and blue. He cowers at the sight of me, rushing past when my gaze locks onto his.

"Are you ready for the history pop quiz?" He asks walking next to me.

"Probably not," I say. Soon it was Kankuro, Gaara, Itachi, Sasuke, Naruto, and I sitting at one of the tables in the classroom, each sitting six people. It would figure I would have a class Kuro right now. He refused to make eye contact with me, which hurt more then I wished it would.

"Sky!" I hear Naruto whine again.

"What?"

"Are you okay?" He asked looking concerned.

"Yeah, my hand is just bothering me a little."

"What did you do to it?" I Gaara ask.

"She was awesome Gaara you should have seen it! I got into a fight with the dude named Juggo before I knew what was going on, Sky rips him away from me, pulling her fist back colliding with his face as he tries to get to me again. He falls to the floor blood spurting from his nose, she completely shattered his nose with one punch! High-yah!" Naruto says getting exciting doing a karate chop to the table.

"Really Sky?" Gaara says shaking his head at me.

"In my defense, he swung first, and yes Naru I am okay," I said shrugging causing the members of the table to shake their heads.

"Oh okay." He said as he started playing on his phone stopping momentarily to see the text I sent him about Kankuro kissing me. He looked over me with a surprised look on his face, I then began to avoid the gazes of the guys around me. Once the teacher handed out the test I flew through it turned it in then headed to my car. It took about 7 minutes for me to complete the five-page packet.

"Hey." I hear Itachi call out from behind me. I slow down to let him catch up.

"What's up?" I ask staring at the ground.

"Are you avoiding me?" He asked sounding disappointed.

"I'm not, there is just a lot on my mind."

"What I said to Sakura, I assume."

"That is one thing, why'd you do that? As you are also aware I shattered someone's nose today too." I look over at him.

"It made those girls leave and I promise you the fight it is something I will not be forgetting anytime soon you amuse me Skyler Uzumaki."

"Oh," I said looking down at my hands.

"Was there something wrong with what I said to Sakura?" Itachi asks self-consciously.

"No."

"Sky!" I hear Naruto sing walking up to use Sasuke and Gaara close behind.

"What's up?" I asked.

"I know it's your night off, but can I go over to Sasuke's tonight at least for a little?"

"Yeah, as long as his parents don't care."

"Why don't you both come over for dinner?" Itachi asked looking down at me.

"That is a great idea!" Naruto cheered.

"I don't think that is a great idea." I countered.

"Why is it because you kissed Kankuro but have a crush on Itachi?" Naruto says without thinking. Moments later his hand covered his mouth.

"I kissed her," Kankuro said quietly. All eyes were on me, some wider than others.

"Okay, I am going home now. Naruto if you are not in my car in 30 seconds everything you own is going into the fireplace."

"But Sky you said..."

"That was before you couldn't keep your big fucking mouth shut! Go!" I snap. I follow him to my car not daring to look back at the four guys behind me, I was so happy it was Friday.

We got into the car and I pulled out without saying a word to Naruto.

"I'm sorry, I didn't think before I spoke."

"I know, baby brother."

"Are you going to date Kankuro?" He asked tilting his head looking at me.

"You know I can't date him, we have been friends forever and I would never want to compromise that."

"Then will you date Itachi? It seems like he is interested in you."

"He and I are way too different Naruto, it would end horribly if we dated."

"What makes you think that?"

"He is rich, has a family, and is much less complicated than I am."

"You don't know that. From what I heard from Sasuke, their dad is a mean man."

"What do you mean?"

"Their dad expects perfection and if they don't live up to it, he yells at them and has hit them both calling it sparing. Instead of normal things like grounding he makes them do a workout, pushing their bodies and minds to the brink of breaking. He even makes them fight as he claims he is toughing them up. In the end, he just demands Itachi to "finish it" knocking Sasuke out and leaves. They are supposed to be seen, not heard, and they can never curse. Sasuke and Itachi both are black belts in martial arts, but their dad was going to hit Sasuke once and Itachi blocked it, their dad ended up breaking Itachi's wrist." Naruto said hanging his head looking at his lap.

"Oh my, did Sasuke tell you all of this?" This blew my mind; their dad was abusive and how they were raised. It explained so much.

"Yeah, we talked until 3 A.M."

"Aw."

"Stop being sappy." Naruto huffs.

"Is Sasuke gay?" I asked as we pulled into the driveway.

"I'm not sure." Naruto starts thinking about it.

"Well I have this weekend off and it is my payday lets order a pizza and watch some movies."

"Yay! Can I invite Sasuke?"

"Ya."

Naruto's POV

Me: pizza movies my house?

Sasuke: Sure.

Me: Bring your brother

Sasuke: Okay. Why?

Me: she likes him

Sasuke: So I heard you say, are you positive?

Me: yes she does we talked about it

Sasuke: Learn to use correct grammar and punctuation.

Me: What

Sasuke: Nevermind, what time?

Me: hr

Sasuke: What is your address?

Me: 1230 main

Sasuke: Okay, see you then.

"Sasuke is coming over!" I holler up the stairs to my sister.

"Okay." I hear her reply. Time for some ramen before dinner.

Normal POV

I came downstairs when I hear a knock on the front door. I grab my wallet, open the door, and there stood the Uchiha brothers

"Naruto!" I yell into the living room.

"What? Hey, guys come in." Naruto said opening the door further.

"It appears you were not expecting both of us," Itachi said stepping into the house.

"I wasn't expecting you, just your brother," I said going into the living room.

"I see, I wanted to talk to you," Itachi said sitting on the couch.

"Sky I'm going to show Sasuke my room."

"Ok but Naru, come down when you hear the pizza is here."

"We will!" I hear him reply before barreling up the stairs.

"What do you want to talk about Uchiha?"

"You have to ask?"

"I have learned not to assume," I said sitting on the couch next to him.

Itachi's POV

"I have learned not to assume." I hear her say from beside me. There was so much I didn't know about this girl and yet I do not doubt that I want to learn everything about her. She isn't like anyone I have ever been around.

"Itachi." I hear her say, removing me from my thoughts.

"I'm sorry, you called me Itachi," I said surprised.

"That is your name isn't it Uchiha?" She said looking amused.

"Yeah, just took me by surprise." I wanted to hear her say it again.

"What did you want to talk about?" She asks curling her legs under her on the couch.

"Are you and Kankuro a couple?" I ask praying she says no.

"God no, he has been my best friend since we were two. I was there through the nose picking and glue eating days." She chuckles.

That statement and that chuckle lifted my spirits more than expected. I was about to respond when there was a knock on the door. We got up opening the door and to my surprise, the Uber delivery man had three pizzas, two things of chicken wings, cheesy breadsticks, and lava cake desserts. I thought she only expected three people.

"Hey, Sky! $68.83 please." The driver man said. She was opening her wallet, it didn't feel right, I opened mine and handed him a $100.

"Hey, Andy!" I heard her reply glaring at me.

"Keep the change," I said grabbing the items from him.

"Really? That is a $30 tip."

"Yep, thank you," I said grabbing the items from him.

"See you soon Sky!" I heard him say sounding like a stalker.

"Itachi, I was going to pay." She said still glaring at me.

"You weren't expecting me, it is the least I could do," I said bringing the stuff into the kitchen.

"Well thank you. I appreciate it." She said as a smile towards me.

"Your welcome," I replied as I realized this was the first time she had smiled at me, and her smile was contagious and lit up the whole room. All I could do was stare at her like an idiot.

"Naru! Sasuke! Get down here, the pizza is here!" I hear her yell at the boys, the volume caused me to cringe. My parents would have never allowed that to stand. Her world was so different than mine I was certainly jealous.

"Coming!" I hear Naruto's voice from upstairs.

Normal POV

When Itachi pulled a $100 bill I was jealous that he could do that with no worry in the world. After the quick moment of jealousy, the appreciation of him paying for the food flooded my mind and I couldn't help but smile.

We all grabbed a plate of food and headed into the living room.

"What do we want to watch?" I asked the guys.

"Let's watch something scary!" Naruto cheered.

"Any preferences?" I ask Itachi and Sasuke.

"Nope." They said at the same time.

"Scary it is, Truth or Dare?" I asked going through Netflix.

"Never seen it." Itachi shrugged.

"Us neither, but every scary movie makes Sky jump and scream!" Naruto laughed.

"They give you nightmares so shut up," I replied pushing play. My couch was full of people. It only had three cushions but all four of us fit we were just close. Itachi to my right, Naruto to my left and Sasuke to his left. The movie started, and we were all watching intensely, the brothers not having seen anything like this.

By the middle of the movie, I was holding Itachi's arm for dear life against my chest, holding his hand and hiding my eyes with his shoulder during every scary scene. Naruto was covering his eyes peeking through occasionally if he moved any closer to Sasuke he would have been in his lap. The Uchiha brothers were more amused by Naruto's and my actions than the movie.

Itachi's POV

My father only allowed Sasuke and I to watch television on holidays but the movies were historical and intimidating, such as Schindler's and the Purple Triangle. Otherwise, we were never allowed to watch movies or television of any kind. Saying it would rot our brains and we needed to be at the top of our game consistently, we had the option to read and that was it.

Not more than 20 minutes into the movie I feel Skyler grab my arm and hide her face against my shoulder. From that moment on I was more focused on her touch, little screeches, and movie commentary. She grabbed my hand and all I could do was look at her intense face then back at the television a sense of calm washing over me.

My anxiety had grown exponentially when we found out Suna would be closing and we were being sent to a public school. Knowing it would be a whole new world that I didn't think I could fit into but this girl had captured all my attention and thoughts since the moment I met her. She was spirited, loud, rebellious, and not afraid to say exactly what she thought. She was the exact opposite of everything I had ever known. Suna ensured all us students were quiet, well mannered, respectful, and scholarly, anything I hadn't learned from there my dad ensured to teach me, ever so unkindly. It seemed Sasuke was drawn to Naruto for the same reason.

When the movie was over Skyler turned off the TV Naruto got up to turn the lights on leaving his phone on the coffee table. Before he got to switch his phone vibrated causing a loud noise to go through the room. Skyler was also in the process of getting up when the noise was heard, it caused her to scream and land in my lap grabbing my shirt hiding her head in the crook of my neck. My reaction was to grab her, not sure what else to do.

Naruto flipped on the switch as fast as possible as he heard the scream then busted out laughing at our current predicament.

"Falling for Itachi again are you?" Naruto asked tears coming out of his eyes.

"Naruto shut up!" She snaps as she gets off me and grabs his phone.

"No! Give it back!" I hear his whine. With that, she threw it at his face.

"Itachi, we should probably go it's seven-thirty." I heard Sasuke say from behind me.

"Yea." I stood up reaching in my pocket for my keys and headed towards the front door everyone behind me.

"Thanks for the food and the movie, it was nice," I say to Skyler.

"You bought the food." She smirks.

"You guys should come over tomorrow! We can hang out again!" Naruto cheers. I look down at her waiting for her comments on the idea.

"Your choice Uchiha." She said shrugging.

"We'll try," Sasuke said heading down the driveway. I follow turning back once to see her leaning against the door frame. I gave her a small wave, she gave a two-finger wave back and disappeared into the house Naruto behind her. This girl is going to be the death of me, she took over my thoughts, sent my emotions into overdrive and my body longed for her touch.

"You should have kissed her." I hear Sasuke say from the passenger seat as we head home. I didn't say anything, but I knew he was right. Hopefully, I could deceive my parents again, so I could see her tomorrow.

Normal POV

"You should have kissed him," Naruto says as soon as the door closes.

"No."

"You like him Sky, you need to give him a chance."

"I don't need to do anything with him."

"The thing with Sai and Ino happened over a year ago, I see the way you look at him."

"Like he annoys the shit out of me?"

"You trust him, you feel safe around him and you don't trust anyone."

"You make it sounds so easy, Naru."

"If they come over tomorrow, try to let loose."

"We'll see, I'm going to head to bed."

"Night Sky." Flopping on the couch.

Itachi's POV

Sasuke and I were awake at 4:30 a.m. and ready for the day by 5:30 a.m. like as was expected by our father. We came down to breakfast to see him looking at the paper and our mom finishing the food.

"Good morning boys, any plans today?" My mom asked sweetly.

"Going to the school to work out and throw some passes," I say before Sasuke can speak, knowing my dad wouldn't question something football-related.

"I want to see you two spar first." Our father comments, I look over to Sasuke, who looks defeated already.

"Yes, father." We say at the same time. We both knew better than to eat before sparing, it leads to unpleasant occurrences. We head down into the basement where mats are set up.

Sasuke and I got into our stances waiting for our father to give the go. I hated fighting my brother, he had so much more to learn before he could compete with me one on one. It consistently ended with me putting him in a submission position and knocking him out with a jab. Our father knew when I was going easy on Sasuke, so it came down to beating up Sasuke or fighting against my father when he was angry.

"Begin!" My father shouts. We were sparring for about thirty minutes, every move Sasuke made I was able to dodge or block, but I could see this was causing him to become aggravated. His inability to control his emotions was a large downfall for him, his anger made him distracted and not as quick to think.

"Sasuke, keep calm," I say trying to get him to relax.

"I am!" He snaps back trying to throw a punch towards my head which I easily catch.

"Itachi, stop babying him! Finish it!" My dad growls at me.

"Fath..." I start to say something but the look he gave me, made me terrified. I quickly trip Sasuke and bent his arm behind him, my knee on his back. Sasuke struggles beneath my grasp but I do not move.

"Itachi I said finish it!" My dad growls again.

"I'm sorry brother," I whisper as I hit the carotid sinus point in his neck causing him to pass out.

"What a disappointing display from both of you. Get out of my house." Father scoffs going back upstairs. When I heard his study door slamming I kneel by Sasuke.

"Sasuke, wake up." I lightly pat his cheek.

"Ugh, my head and shoulder." I hear Sasuke whine.

"Come on, we're going to Skyler's and Naruto's house," I say helping him up. He started rotating his shoulder following me upstairs.

"Are you boys alright?" My mom asked sipping coffee.

"Yea," Sasuke says walking out.

"Oh Itachi, you are such a sweet boy. I hate seeing you dad trying to change you."

"It's fine mother, I am not changing," I say grabbing my keys. Sasuke and I got in my hummer and we sat there for a few moments.

"I'm sorry Sasuke," I whisper looking at the stirring wheel.

"It's fine, I know dad makes you. At least you make it quick." He says pulling out his phone.

"Have you talked to Naruto?" I asked starting the engine.

"No, I am assuming he and Skyler are still asleep. It is only eight a.m. on a Sunday."

"We should go get breakfast and coffee before showing up."

"That might be smarter, Skyler might kill us anyway though," Sasuke shrugs.

"That she might," I chuckle thinking about her opening the door in her pajamas.

We pulled up to their house about eight-thirty but neither of us was sure if we wanted to knock on the door. I stared at the house for five minutes until I got the guts to knock on the door. I didn't hear any movement, so I knocked again that is when I heard it, or well heard her.

"Naruto you are such a fucking lazy ass! Open the fucking door! Someone better be dead, or I am going to kick some ass." I heard her finish and she opened the door. She stared at me and then at Sasuke, by stared I meant glared. That was until she saw the coffee I had in my hand, she looked at the coffee and bag that I handed out to her the back up to me. She grabbed them turning away and walking into the kitchen taking a huge swig of coffee.

"Uchiha, do you know what time it is?"

"Almost nine."

"Do you know what day it is?"

"Sunday. What is with the questions?"

"It is nine a.m. on a weekend! What the hell are you doing awake this fucking early? Thank you for the coffee and breakfast." She ended causing me to chuckle.

"I've been up since four-thirty ready for the day since five-thirty, I didn't realize you sleep in on the weekends," I say lying, knowing I was just impatient and wanted to see her again as soon as possible.

"Ugh, you are not human." I hear her say, grabbing two chocolate muffins heading to the living room. Sasuke was standing in the living room doorway not sure what to do with the sleeping blonde on the couch.

Normal POV

I heard a knocking on my door to early in the morning. I was in a spaghetti strap purple tank top and a pair of basketball shorts. Just in case it was someone important I grabbed my black zip-up hoodie and headed downstairs yelling and cursing the whole way.

When I opened the door, I see the Uchiha brothers, and all I could do was stare. My sleepy mind was unable to make words into sentences about them being at my house currently. I saw Itachi with a Starbucks coffee cup and a folded paper bag in his hands which he reached out to me with. I grabbed both turning away to walk into my kitchen.

"Uchiha, do you know what time it is?" I growled out.

"Almost nine." He says sounding innocent.

"Do you know what day it is?" I ask hoping he got a clue.

"Sunday. What is with the questions?" He asked looking at me weird.

"It is nine a.m. on a weekend! What the hell are you doing awake this fucking early? Thank you for the coffee and breakfast." I say not particularly mad they were here.

"We've been up since four-thirty ready for the day since five-thirty, I didn't realize you sleep in on the weekends," I heard him say.

"Ugh, you are not human," I say, grabbing two chocolate muffins heading to the living room. Sasuke was standing in the living room doorway not sure what to do with the sleeping blonde on the couch. I walked past him and threw one of the chocolate muffins at his face, causing him to wake up.

"What was that for!" Naruto whined.

"Wake up, we have visitors and you are hogging the couch."

"Oh, hey guys," Naruto said rubbing his eyes sitting up.

"Hey," Sasuke said sitting in the same spot he was last night, Itachi and I in our same spots too. I just kept sipping my coffee.

"What are you doing here so early?" Naruto asks grabbing his phone.

"It isn't early," Sasuke says handing him a coffee.

"It's before noon, it's early." Naruto countered.

"That is what I said but Naru, leave it be. You are being too loud." I say still trying to wake up my brain.

"Okay let's watch YouTube videos," Naruto says grabbing the remote. I watch him as he scrolls threw and pick a video on YouTube. We watched a couple and I was still drowsily looking at my social media feed. I was thinking about what Naruto had said the night before about giving Itachi a chance. I looked back at Itachi who was watching some weird video Naruto had on the TV.

"I'm going to take a shower and since you boys are here you can experience the Uzumaki Sunday routine," I smirk leaving the room. When I got back the boys were In the same position but all were on their phones.

"That was fast," Itachi said looking over at me.

"Yep. Naru, you and Little Uchiha will take kitchen and hall. Itachi and I will do my normal."

"Chores?" Sasuke said looking at me weird.

"Yep, this is what it is like not to have housekeepers." I chuckle. Sasuke looking over at Itachi who shrugs causes me to laugh more. Watching the Uchiha brothers doing chores was killing mine and Naruto's sides. From not knowing how to turn on a vacuum to figuring or how to hook up the dishwasher we were dying from laughter. Eventually, the house was work was done and we flop down on the couch.

"Remind me to thank and tip Diane," Sasuke says causing Naruto and me to laugh once again.

"Time to go grocery shopping. We are having tacos for dinner tonight." I say grabbing my purse.

"I got the list, Sky!" Naruto says from the kitchen.

"Cool. Uchiha are you driving because your beast is blocking my car?"

"Yea I can. Where are we going?"

"Wal-Mart," I say grabbing my keys and heading out the door. I was too short for the hummer but I pulled myself up and got settled, looking down to see the roof of my car.

"We need to get one of these, Sky!" Naruto cheered as he got in.

"We couldn't afford the gas for one of these," I say as Itachi pulls out of my driveway. When we pull into Wal-Mart's parking lot there were way too many vehicles here. We get out, grab a cart heading down the frozen aisle when I hear a familiar voice an isle over, heading this way.

"Isn't that Ino?" Naruto asked, making my fears real.

"Yep," I say focusing on what pizza I wanted to get.

"Oh, look who's here, Skyler and Naruto with the Uchiha brothers." I hear Ino's annoying voice.

"Who?" I heard a male voice ask. When I look towards the voice I see Sai standing there holding Ino's hand.

"Sai," I say quietly.

"Skyler, it is nice to see you," Sai said giving me a little smile.

"Bastard." I hear Naruto say behind me causing the brothers to look at him weirdly.

"Who are your friends?" Sai asked still staring at me.

"Sai this is my boyfriend, Itachi Uchiha the oldest son of the mogul Fugaku Uchiha and this is his little brother Sasuke," I say putting my arm around Itachi's waist. Itachi looked down at me weird but when our eyes met he put his arm around my shoulder going with my charade.

"I see, I am glad you were able to find someone that seems to make you happy."

"Yea, something you'd never understand." Naruto scuffs.

"Okay well it was nice seeing you, but we are going to go now," I say grabbing the cart and heading in the opposite direction of where we were going next. When we got far enough away, I released the breath I didn't realize I was holding.

"What was that? Sasuke asks.

Who was that?" Itachi asked looking between Naruto and myself.

"That is Sky's first and last boyfriend Sai. They were together for four years before she found out he was cheating on her with Ino, her ex-best friend. Sky hasn't seen Sai in about 3 months since he graduated and went off to college." Naruto said to me as I stared at the stuff in my cart.

"Oh, are you okay Sky?" I hear Itachi ask from behind me.

"Yea, thanks for playing along," I say trying to brush off the awkward events that just happened.

"Any time," Itachi smirks at me. Little did we know social media was blowing up because Ino had taken a picture of Itachi and me in our previous position and posted for the whole world to see. We got the rest of our stuff and headed back to my house to watch some tv and eat tacos. We brought in all the groceries in one trip and as I was putting them away everyone else was on their phones.

"Um Sky, have you looked at Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, any of them?" Naruto asks.

"Nah why, what is going on?" I asked walking over to stare over Naruto's shoulder to see a picture of Itachi and me together in the frozen aisle.

"Itachi's and your "relationship" has gone viral." He said handing me his phone.

"Shit, what!" I yell grabbing the phone scrolling through seeing that the whole school shared the photo, and even some local news stations had the story.

"Dad is going to kill you," Sasuke says scrolling through his phone.

"It'll blow over, it's not that big of a deal. I'll deal with dad." Itachi said shrugging.

"Itachi, you realize that it made news, right?" I ask looking up at him.

"Yep, I don't care, do you?" He asked looking down at me. His question makes my voice hitch in my throat

"Yes! Yes, I do care don't want attention!" I said screech.

"Just kiss already!" Naruto encouraged.

"Shut up, Naruto." I snap. I tried to run away to the kitchen but as I passed Itachi, I felt him grab my wrist gently to stop me. I look back at him, unconsciously walked closer to him, he puts a hand on my cheek, leans down, and kisses me. His bangs were gently brushing my cheek. His lips were softer than I expected and my hand on his chest felt the hard pecks that were under his signature polo shirt. My other arm was laying on his shoulder with its hand in his black locks held in a low ponytail.

"I said kiss not make out," Naruto mutters leaning against the counter. This causes Itachi and I to pull away from each other.

"Does this mean we are dating Uchiha?" I smirk still close to him.

"I guess it does," he replies looking down at me, kissing me again.

Itachi's POV

"I guess it does," I reply looking down at the spitfire in my arms. I couldn't contain my smile until Sasuke's words sunk into my head. My dad was going to kill me.

We had had tacos which Sasuke and I had never had while watching another movie we had never seen.

"Itachi, it is 7:30 we should head home," I hear Sasuke say.

"Yeah..." I sigh getting up.

"Don't get into too much trouble over me Uchiha," I hear Sky say walking to the door.

"It'll be fine," I say looking at her, giving her a quick kiss, then looking at Sasuke who has a "you're lying" look on his face as we head to the hummer.

"You are such a liar, dad is going to murder you," he says closing the door.

"I know," I say with a sigh pulling out of her driveway.

Normal POV

"It'll be fine," I hear Itachi say knowing he was lying. I didn't say anything as I watch the hummer pull out of my driveway.

"About time!" I hear Naruto yell from the couch.

"Yeah, yeah..." I say waving him off cleaning up the dinner mess.

Once done I headed to bed, I was fast asleep when I heard screaming. I jumped up and ran down the stairs to see Naruto having a nightmare.

"Naru! Naru wake up!" I yell shaking him. He sits straight up short of breath.

"Sky?" I hear him whisper.

"Naru, it's me, I am right here," I say crouched down in front of him. He pulled me into a tight hug, crying on my shoulder.

"I miss them so much! Please don't leave me Sky!" he sobs.

"Hey, look at me," I say putting my hand under his chin. "I'm never going to leave you, you got that?" I say sternly. He nods sniffling. I pull him into a hug once again as he tries to calm down.

"Here lay down," I say putting my feet up on the coffee table as he puts his head in my lap. I play with his hair and within minutes he's fast asleep snoring. I look over to the picture of my parents, praying my dad could see me fulfilling his dying wish. I kept playing with his hair spacing out for almost two hours before uncomfortably falling to sleep sitting on the couch.

It seemed like just a few minutes before Naruto's alarm went off waking us up, Naruto rubbed his eyes slowly waking up.

"Sky?" I hear him ask while yawning.

"Yeah?" I ask stretching.

"What are you doing?" he asks not remembering last night

"You had a nightmare," I said before it seemed last night's memories came back to him.

"I'm sorry," he says quietly looking down to his fiddling hands in his lap.

"It's fine baby brother, go get ready for school and get some breakfast," I say while giving him a closed eye smile. He knew any time I called him baby brother he didn't have to worry about me being upset with him in any way, adding the smile always puts him to ease.

"Okay! You get to experience your first day as Itachi's girlfriend," Naruto cheers.

"That's if I even have a living boyfriend if his dad found out," I sighed heading upstairs to get ready.

I pull into the parking lot and see Itachi's hummer right away being it was one of the tallest vehicles in the school. Once we got closer I saw him, Sasuke, and the couple people he picks up. I pull up next to him and park, getting out, grabbing my bag from my backseat before making my way over to them.

"Well you're alive," I hear Naruto chuckle going to stand next to Sasuke.

"Hn," Itachi replies not a fan of the comment.

"You Uchihas know 'hn' is not a word right?" I ask making my way over.

"You look like crap," Sasuke says crossing his arms over his chest.

"Shut up, blame your boyfriend," I say causing him and Naruto to blush.

"He's/I'm not my boyfriend!" they both growl out at the same time.

"Mhmm," I say heading into the school. I didn't want to show any PDA at school until I knew that was what Itachi wanted too.

The first half of the day went by quickly and it was finally lunch.

"I'm starving!" I hear Naruto shouts coming into view.

"You're always hungry," I say seeing Itachi, Sasuke, Gaara, and Kankuro coming out of the computer lab.

"Hey," he says walking up next to me.

"Hey," I replied as we entered the cafeteria. All eyes were on the four of us as I opened the door. I sighed and tried to ignore it, grabbing my food before heading outside to the field.

"Who would have thought you'd be the talk of the school again?" I hear Gaara say taking a bite of his apple. Before I could answer Itachi and Sasuke make it over to us.

"Again?" Itachi asks as he sits beside me.

"When our parents died," Naruto replied shoving chips into his mouth.

"Slow down before you choke," Sasuke demands.

"Shut up, I know how to eat," Naruto says continuing.

"So what did Naruto do so that you didn't you sleep?" I hear Sasuke ask me.

"Nightmare," Naruto replied for me turning his head away from us blushing.

"Oh," Sasuke says focusing on his lunch.

"So how'd it go with your dad?" I ask looking over to Itachi.

"He wasn't home, some business trip," he says shrugging. I nod leaning my head back closing my eyes. It was just moments before I felt Itachi sit behind me putting his arms around me. My head now leaning against his collarbone, I kept my eyes closed ready to take a nap. At some point, I nodded off nuzzling my face in the crook of Itachi's neck. It seemed like mere minutes when the bell went off.

"Sky, you can't just ignore it," I hear Itachi whisper next to my ear.

"Watch me," I mumble.

"Sky! Ino and Sakura are coming over!" Naruto yells causing me to sit up wide-eyed ready to fight.

"Works every time," I hear my little brother say shrugging heading towards the school.

"Asshole," I grumble getting up to follow him.

"Sky, football practice starts today!" Naruto cheers.

"It does?" I say not aware of the date.

"Yeah," he said with a huge grin, as Itachi, Sasuke, and Naruto were waiting for me to grab what I needed from my locker for my next class.

"You are going to have to find a ride home, I work after school every day this week, except Friday," I say closing my locker.

"I can take you home," I hear Itachi offer.

"You play football too?" I asked surprised for some reason.

"Mhmm, Sasuke and I both do, we both participate in basketball, then I join the track team, while Sasuke plays baseball," Itachi says looking at me.

"Of course you do," I shake my head feeling like the ugly duckling in this group.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Sasuke snaps crossing his arms on his chest.

"It means that there are more reasons proving I am nothing like the three of you, snap at me again ducky I will bite your head off," I said looking back at him while walking.

"Sorry," he whispers looking at the floor.

"Sky," Naruto says trying to scold me for scolding his crush.

"Yes?" I turned to look at him raising a disapproving eyebrow.

"Nothing," he says squirming under my gaze, we continue heading to our last class ready for school to be over.

At the final bell, I met Itachi, Sasuke, Naruto, Gaara, and Kankuro by one of the outside fountains.

"Naru here is $10, make sure to get dinner, I won't be home to cook. Boys, please make sure he eats after practice and doesn't do anything that would require me to meet you at the hospital." I instructed while they just nod.

"Skyyyyyy, stop mothering me, I can take care of myself." I hear Naruto whine, causing me to laugh obnoxiously loud.

"Sure you can, I will see you after work," I say hugging him then Kankuro. I was about to walk away before a hand grabbed my wrist, "forgetting someone?" I hear Itachi ask.

"Oh right, guess I do have one of you now," I chuckle tippy-toeing to kiss him, he kissed back with a hand on my waist. All the feelings that were foreign to me were coming back, part of me wanted to run the other to stay in the moment forever.

"Have a good shift, Sky!" I hear Itachi call out as I walk away.

"Take care of my brother, Uchiha!" I reply before we were too far apart to yell anymore.

The rest of the week went pretty much the same way. Thankfully it was Friday last period but we had a pep assembly, I was not one with pep. They were loud and obnoxious with people I cared nothing about and wished would just go poof into another universe, but my five boys were a part of the varsity football team so I decided to go to show my support.

I walked in seeing the whole school there, I looked around for anyone I even considered to sit by but there was none so I stood on the side of the bleachers leaning against them with my backpack hanging off my shoulder.

"Konoha warriors welcome to the first pep assembly of the year!" I hear the principal yell causing a ruckus I was not a fan of but I had to stay strong.

"First let me introduce our Varsity offensive players. #87 a senior standing at 5'10 weighing 180 lbs, starting tight end, Kankuro Sabaku!"

I hear him introduce Kuro, by this time the cheerleaders had created an arm teepee for the players to run under. I clapped as he jogged over to the end of the gym on the side I was. He scans the crowd finding me, sending me a big grin, which I smirk in return. He introduces the other tight ends before moving on to:

"#88 a junior standing at 5'11 weighing 175 lbs, a starting wider receiver, Naruto Uzumaki!"

"Go Naru!" I scream uncharacteristically but this was the first season without my dad here so I had to at least try and show support. He sees me giving me a thumbs up while going by Kuro.

"#33 a junior standing at 5'8 weighing 140 lbs, a starting running back, Gaara Sabaku!"

"#21 a junior standing at 5'11 weighing 150 lbs, a starting running back, Sasuke Uchiha!"

They all came jogging out in their jerseys, I ignored all the people in between them.

"He is the captain of the team, the leader of the army, #3 a senior standing at 6' weighing 160 lbs, our starting quarterback, Itachi Uchiha!" He came jogging out in his black and red jersey with a big number 3 on it, grey washed jeans and ponytail hanging low, god he was hot. It didn't take long and I could see over 75% of the student body agreed with me.

"How are we doing this afternoon!" I hear him cheer all peppy like taking me back a little. This was a side I had never seen from him. The students cheered for him in response.

"As all of you know a large number of students on this team this year including myself transferred from Suna, we are all excited to be apart of this team, with our first game being tonight make sure you get your tickets and school merchandise. Represent us out there tonight, by cheering and being loud, hope to see all of you there!" he ended putting the microphone on the podium. The players split most heading to the bleachers but I see my boys heading my way as the principle continues with announcements and other time-killing material.

"Way to go, guys!" I said trying to be all peppy.

"Don't, you're scaring me," Naruto jokes.

"Aw, you don't think I can be all into this school spirit stuff?" I ask directing to my black cargo pants with chains, my ripped t-shirt with fishnet under it, my red hair in a messy bun, and my makeup darker then it needed to be.

"No," Gaara responds. Causing me to chuckle, I feel arms wrap around my waist knowing it was Itachi I relaxed against him.

"Are you coming tonight?" I hear him ask from behind me.

"Uh..." I begin to start trying to figure out how to put it nicely that a football game was not my scene.

"Yes, she is!" Naruto answered for me.

"I am?" I asked looking at him weirdly.

"Of course you have to!" he screeches.

"Why is that?" I ask curiously about his reasoning.

"You are related, or friends of most the 1st string offensive line, plus you are dating the quarterback it is like required," Naruto whined.

"When I agree to date him there were no warnings of this," I say crossing my arms.

"You don't have to come," I hear him say quietly behind me obviously disappointed, breaking my heart slightly. I see the puppy dog eyes Naruto is giving me and the longing in Kuro's eyes.

"Ugh fine! I'll go but I am becoming an Eskimo." I say giving into the eyes of disappointment.

"Yay!" Naruto cheers.

"Okay students, can we get our team captain back out here to lead us in the school cheer?" The principal asks looking at the crowd for Itachi. When people saw him with his arms around me their smiles faded including the principle.

"That's my queue," Itachi says quickly kissing my temple and heading back out into the middle of the gym floor. The school huddled in next to the lyrics to the cheer hanging on the wall. I took my opportunity to escape, sneaking out the side door making my way to my car.

I leaned it against it as students flooded out of the front door. It was a couple of minutes before I see my boys coming out in their jerseys. They get over to me but before we can make plans we hear, "Tachiiiii! Sasuuu!" coming from Ino and Sakura.

Naruto stepped closer to Sasuke who didn't seem to mind, I instinctively stepped in front of Itachi practically laying my claim to my boyfriend, I dared them to challenge it. He wrapped his arms around me, to comfort me but to also be able to hold me back in case I went for their throats.

"Yes?" Itachi asks from behind me.

"I'm your spirit girl this week," Sakura cheered at him.

"I'm your girl Sasu!" I hear Ino say.

"What does that even mean?" Sasuke asks.

"It means they plaster glitter and paint on poster boards, scream your name during games, wear your numbers on their cheeks and practice jerseys over their sluty costumes, then try to whore themselves out to you to get "points" which leads to popularity," I say sneer.

"What would you know about popularity?" Sakura snapped at me.

"I know enough to know it is not something I never want to be involved in," I reply roughly.

"Well you don't have to worry about that," Ino pipes up.

"May I remind you, you are the one dating my seconds while the other is alone. Yet here I am surrounded by five of the varsity 1st string players, who don't hang out with me to get sucked off or laid but because they like me, shocking right?"

"Whatever," Sakura grumbled.

"Oh, what was that? Did I forget to add that your spirit "pal" has his arms around me, not to just restrain me if I decide to tear your throats out, but as obvious proof, he is in a relationship with me and has no interest in you sluts?" I say glaring making it obvious I leaned against Itachi more making an even more of a claim statement.

"At least I wasn't cheated on because I was a mental health emergency waiting to happen," Ino says hitting a nerve.

"You fucking bitch!" I go to lunge at her but get stopped by the arms around me.

"You think you're so strong, bring it on, oh wait but you can't because your keeper restrains you," Sakura says to antagonize me.

"You ladies do realize that I am the only thing keeping her from killing you," Itachi says in a monotone voice as he struggles to keep me at bay.

"She wouldn't do anything, she is all talk," Ino said as if she still knew me.

"Okay," Itachi said releasing me, causing the two girls' eyes to become the size of saucers. I lunge at Ino catching her ponytail before I feel people trying to pull me back.

"Let go, you bitch!" Ino cries out as I feel hands grabbing and pulling on me.

"Let me go Naruto!" I snap.

"No," I hear Sasuke respond.

With the hair in my hand, I snap my wrist from left to right causing a handful of extensions to remove themself from Ino's head as she screams Sakura pull her away as quickly as possible.

"I knew no part of you was natural anymore you fucking slut barbie!" I yell after them.

"You had to let her go?" Naruto snaps at Itachi.

"They were the ones saying she was all talk," Itachi shrugs walking over to me.

"Ew," I say as I drop the extensions onto the ground," I felt Itachi grab me again.

"Babe, calm down they are gone," he whispers in my ear. I ignored him glaring after the two people I wanted to kill.

"Sky..." Naruto lectures.

"Shut up, at least I can hold my own against those I fight," I huffed knowing that was mean to say.

"Wow," Naruto said looking hurt with tears in his eyes before walking away.

"Naru! Naru I'm sorry I didn't mean it I am just riled up," I call after him.

"I'll see you at the game Skyler," I hear him reply causing me to feel my heart breaking in two but I refused to show it.

"I'll go check on him," I hear Sasuke say before heading the same way my brother did.

"Sky?" I hear Kankuro whisper asking if I was okay, causing me to look over to him.

"I'm running home, I'll see you all at the game," I say pulling myself from Itachi's grasp and going over to the driver side of my car. I had to figure out how to make up with Naruto because of what I said. I had an idea, a horrible idea but still an idea. I headed to the dollar store to grab some supplies.

I make it back about 30 minutes before the game started, I walked onto the outside of the field poster board and duffle bag in tow.

"Sky?" I hear someone say from my right.

"Ya?" I say pushing my fuzzy scarf down so I could try and see who it was.

"What are you wearing?" I hear a familiar voice ask.

"Oh hey, ducky, I'm a warm Eskimo. I have to make it up to my brother for what I said so I am doing what my parents used to do every game. Can you go get him and drag him over here in like 10 minutes?" I asked still trying to see him.

"Yeah," with that I heard him walk away.

I got to the bleachers, I sat next to the announcers' booth that was in the back of the bleachers on the top stands. I put my poster down and started to get myself setup.

"Where are we going Sasuke?" I hear my brother ask.

"You'll see," was his only reply. I saw them turn the corner on the right side of the bleachers when Naruto meant my gaze he was shocked, to say the least. I saw him and Sasuke in their gear helmets in their hands.

"Sky?" he asked almost disbelieving it was me. I took my glove off so I could push down my fuzzy scarf.

"Hiya baby brother," I said grinning at him. Naruto busts out laughing seeing me there in a marshmallow coat with a fuzzy hood, a fuzzy scarf to hide my head and face in, gloves, then the comforter from my bed and a throw blanket that had our last name and his number on it, our mom made him his freshman year, plus my glittered painted sign that said "Proud sister of #88!"

Itachi walks over in his gear and looks up to see what the two others were staring at as he heard someone running up the bleachers.

"Sky?" Itachi questioned as well.

Itachi's POV

I come out of the locker room to find Sasuke and Naruto when I see them they are on the bleachers next to a pile of material that Naruto was hugging and talking to.

"Sky?" I ask trying to determine if a living being was under all that.

"Hey, babe!" I hear her voice come from the pile. I was doing everything I could to stay stoic and not laugh at my girlfriend who looked like she brought her whole bedding set to stay warm.

"Glad you made it," was all I could say.

Normal POV

"Hey, babe!" I said smiling at him as my brother is smothering me with a hug crushing me with his gear.

"Glad you made it," was all Itachi could muster up still looking at me in disbelief.

"I am so sorry for what I said Naru! I didn't mean it, I just let Ino get under my skin and I took it out on you and I shouldn't have," I say looking up at him.

"No worries sis, I knew you didn't mean it, just hurt a little seeing as you're always saving me," he replied quietly.

"That's my job you big dummy, if it helps you seem to always be saving other people from me," I joke hugging him again.

"We need to head to the locker room," I hear Itachi call from the bottom of the stairs.

"Come kiss me first," I demanded extremely turned on by him in his football gear. He headed up taking two steps at a time before stopping in front of me.

"You are adorable," he says before leaning down kissing me deeply.

"And you, my dear look incredibly sexy in those pads and gear," I wink at him causing a slight blush to form on his face.

"See you after the game," he said kissing me one more time before heading back down to where the other two were. I watched them walk away as I bundled myself back up leaving enough space for me to see the field.

It was the longest two hours of my life, I had never tried to be so peppy and cheery in my life. A few times I cheered for my boys as the points went up. This caused them to turn and momentarily focusing on me smiling before going back to the game. They won 42-14 in the end. After the game, my boys came out of the locker room to see me still sitting on the bleachers hiding in my fluff fort. I hear multiple sets of steps heading my way, they're out of their gear but still wearing their jerseys.

"Are you going to move?" I hear ducky ask.

"Not if I don't have to," I say peaking out, Naruto starts chuckling again.

"Babe you can't stay out here all night," Itachi says from in front of me.

"Oh I could, I'm cozy, that's why I don't wanna move. Plus I am tangled in the blankets and I don't want to die trying to get up," I say looking over at him grinning.

It took Naruto, Sasuke, Itachi, and Kankuro to get me untangled and packed up as I whined that I was cold and Gaara just laughed at us all.

I stood up still in my long marshmallow coat, grabbing the rails and slowly making my way to the edge of the field.

"You are ridiculous Sky!" Naruto laughs following me.

"I showed up and was peppy, you should all appreciate, love me and understand," I say sticking my tongue out at him.

"We do, even though this side of you is terrifying," Naruto answered for the rest.

"Sasu I'm tired!" Naruto whined.

"What do you want me to do about it?" Sasuke asks confused.

"Carry me!" Naruto dropped his bag and jumped on Sasuke's back surprising the little Uchiha.

"You need to stop eating so much," Sasuke says readjusting the boy on his back before starting to walk.

"Are you calling me fat?" Naruto whines as his arms are draped over Sasuke's shoulders.

"Yes," was the only reply. Naruto decided not to push his luck and just leaned his head on his right arm closing his eyes.

I found Naruto's idea ingenious so I did the same thing. I jumped on Itachi's back, him catching me much more gracefully than his brother while being carried I intermittently nibble on his ear and neck. I move to the top of his shoulder biting down quickly to leave a mark, sucking on it to make sure it stayed visible for a few days.

"Ah! Babe, you're killing me," I hear Itachi groan before smiling back at me adjusting his duffel he was holding so it wasn't hitting me.

"Mhmm, I'm sure you are suffering," I purr in his ear causing him to tense up.

"You better not be asleep!" Sasuke snaps as we hear a little snore come from the blonde on his back causing us all to laugh. We were right by the gate leading to the parking lot when the shadow of a man come towards us.

"So this is what you two have been up to," I hear a deep, dark voice say from the shadows.

"Father," Sasuke and Itachi say at the same time freezing in their place.

"I come to see my sons' first game and find them focused on other things," he said looking my brother and me up and down.

"It's not what it looks like," Itachi says trying to defend the situation. Itachi carefully slipped me off his back at the same time Sasuke did the same with Naruto. I stood there biting my tongue as I was ready to rip this jerk a new one.

"I saw social media Itachi, are you dating this girl?" he asks still glaring at me.

"Well-I-Um..." Itachi studdered making me annoyed he didn't want to say yes. I knew his dad was a jerk but the fact he wouldn't even admit to dating me made me question our relationship as a whole but my mouth opened before my brain filtered what I was going to say. My annoyance towards Itachi as well as his father at this moment dripping from every word.

"Ah, you must be the ever so famous asshole, Fagaku Uchiha." I snap not liking my boys being scared especially of their own father. I was still mad at Itachi but I step in front of him separating him and his father, Naruto follows my lead and does the same to the little Uchiha.

"What was that?" Fugaku snapped causing both boys to jump.

"I've heard a lot about you but never that you were deaf," I snap not backing down.

"Sky..." I hear Naruto whisper as a warning starting to question if what we were doing was smart or not.

"Don't Sky me Naruto, this abusive-mofo has his sons scared of him he even accuses them of things he knows nothing about. To answer your question no, I am not dating your son, I go around riding on everyone's back attacking their neck and earlobes with my teeth as Kankuro or Gaara. I was here to watch my little brother play in his first game of the year.

"So you're just a whore?" he scoffs at me.

"Oh if only you knew, especially all the things I want to do to the ever so innocent, Itachi here," I smirk already in too deep to pull out.

"You will not touch my son," Fugaku snapped taking a few steps towards me which I met.

"Who says I haven't already, watching him squirm under my gaze, willing to do anything I want him to with just a request. That's your favorite way to have the people around you, isn't it? Intimidate them so much that they forget who they are, beat up your own flesh and blood because you don't have the guts to take on anyone else because you know how easily they could prove to every what a worthless little man you actually are. Even more, despicable you try to break one of your son's will but forcing him to either hurt his little brother or be hurt himself. You are a pathetic excuse for a father, and I would bet one day people all around you will see you for the kind of man you are, beat you down, take everything you have ever cared about, and make you flinch in fear at every comment and movement they make."

Itachi's POV

"Ah, you must be the ever so famous asshole Fagaku Uchiha." I hear Sky unable to function feeling only a little better when she steps in front of me, coming between my father and me.

"What was that?" My father snapped causing Sasuke and me to flinch.

"I've heard a lot about you but never that you were deaf," Sky continued I wasn't sure if I was more terrified or entertained by the scene in front of me.

"Sky..." I hear Naruto whisper as a warning to her to quit.

"Don't Sky me Naruto, this abusive-mofo has his sons scared of him he even accuses them of things he knows nothing about. To answer your question no, I am not dating your son, I go around riding on everyone's back attacking their neck and earlobes with my teeth as Kankuro or Gaara. I was here to watch my little brother play in his first game of the year." she finishes up with.

"So you're just a whore?" he scoffs at her.

"Oh if only you knew, especially all the things I want to do to Itachi here," Sky replied making me question if she had gone and lost her mind.

At this point, I kind of wished she would back off, knowing this could end badly for me, but I also wanted her to voice everything else she thought unlike what I had the guts to do. I had never seen my father so angry in my life nor have I ever admired someone more than this woman in front of me at the same time.

Normal POV

"See you at school Monday Uchihas, Sabakus, let's go Naruto," I direct towards my boys still angry at Itachi but proud of myself that no one had to hold me back from attacking Fugaku.

I threw my bag in the back and slammed the door before opening my door and getting in slamming it too.

"Sky..." Naruto says quietly knowing I was upset.

"What?" I snap.

"What were you thinking? There was a reason Itachi and Sasuke both unintentionally froze when they recognized their dad, you shouldn't be mad at them, their dad is terrifying." Naruto says trying to help the situation.

"Well, it seems our relationship doesn't mean that much to him if he can't even tell his dad he's dating me, no matter how mean he is. I sure as hell didn't have a problem doing so," I growl out pulling out of the school's parking lot.

"I know, let's go get some snacks and we'll just hang out and watch movies this weekend," I hear him suggest thankfully changing the subject.

Itachi's POV

I watched as Sky and Naruto walked away.

"There will be repercussions," I hear my father say in an angry voice.

"Yes father," is all we can whisper before following him to the parking lot occasionally exchanging concerned looks with Sasuke.

We got home all exiting the vehicles at the same time.

"Sasuke, Itachi, leave your duffles meet me in the basement for a discussion,"

"Yes, father," we whispered already exhausted from the game, still in shock from Sky's words, but we knew better than to argue.

Sasuke and I change into tank tops and basketball shorts before heading down to the gym.

"Itachi," I hear Sasuke call out.

"Yeah?" I ask looking at him.

"Don't worry about hurting me, a few aches and bruises will be well worth what I witnessed tonight," was all he said before we headed down the stairs to the basement gym.

"Itachi, Sasuke," I hear my father say with his arms crossed.

"Yes, father?" we ask looking down at the floor with our hands behind our backs.

"Who is this girl?" he asks.

"Her name is Skyler Uzumaki and she's a classmate," I say not lying.

"Jump rope," he demands, throwing one at me and Sasuke. We start as he stares us down waiting for any slight mistake to exploit.

"Are you "dating" this Skyler?" my father asks.

"Yes, father," I say quietly.

"Sasuke?" he asks turning to my brother

"No father I am not dating her," Sasuke responds father stays quiet for a few moments as I continue to jump ensuring I don't mess up once.

"How long have you been seeing her Itachi?" he asks continuing to my every move.

"About three months father," I say knowing lying isn't going to help but afraid that nothing would at this point.

"How long have you known Sasuke?"

"For the full three months father," Sasuke responds obviously starting to slow down from exhaustion.

"Squats, what else did she lie to me about?" he asked in a disapproving manner changing up the exercise after about ten minutes.

"Um, we haven't done anything sexual," I answered him quietly.

"Sasuke, do you have anything to add?" he asks watching him.

"No father," Sasuke pants getting closer to not being able to continue.

"Now you are warmed up we will be sparring. Does she come from a wealthy family?" he asks. As I start, he watches closely as I take my stance keeping my eyes on him and Sasuke.

"No, father," I say trying to keep my breathing even and consistent.

"Do you kiss her?" he asks in a dark tone throwing punches and kicks at me that I block as best as I could allowing trying to distract father enough Sasuke can land a few blows. My legs are already shakey making me wonder how long before they gave out but I knew I was better off than my little brother currently.

"Yes, father," I say as I was distracted by his question a kick caught me in the stomach.

"You should have dodged that you see how much of a distraction she already is to you? Do you love her?" he asks surprising me again, causing me to missing blocking at jab on my collarbone.

"I don't know," I answer honestly while biting my tongue as to not cry out in pain.

"How do you not know if you love this girl or not? It is not that difficult of a question," he snaps causing me to flinch but I was able to block his next move throwing one of my own to be blocked, Sasuke was able to catch his shoulder with a jab but he didn't react apparently holding the feelings inside.

"Yes, father, I love her," I say determining that I did indeed love Skyler.

"Sasuke go to bed," he instructed surprising both of us. I began to wonder if it was because at this point he wasn't able to beat Sasuke and me when we teamed up.

"Was that so hard?" He asks as soon as Sasuke was upstairs before he sweeps my feet from underneath me causing me to land on my knees.

"No father," I whisper feeling nauseous still trying to dodge and block his attacks in the position I was in.

"What is this, a hickey? You are letting her mark you like some piece of property?" My father asked roughly grabbing the area on my shoulder where she bit.

"Ah! Yes, father, that's from Skyler," I cry out.

"I would tell you, you cannot see her again but I will have her dealt with slowly and painfully after having the nerve to talk to me in the manner she did, and she will no longer be a problem." He said almost sadistically as he surprises me by kicking my non-dominant shoulder knocking me off balance then slamming my face to the ground the same arm in his grasp at an awkward angle.

"Father, do whatever you wish to me but please don't hurt her," I beg, in pain, cursing this man's existence.

"Love makes you weak, distracts you, you are not to have any contact with her from now on. Go to bed," he demands, leaving the gym, as I get to a position on my hands and knees. My arms give-out right when he left, I laid on the cold ground panting and sweating, trying to muster up enough energy to get up and make it to my room.

"Itachi?" I hear Sasuke coming back down the stairs.

"Yeah?" I ask barely audible. When he came into view he reached out a hand to help me. I took it slowly getting to a sitting position.

"Are you okay?" he asks looking at me worried.

"Yeah, nothing a couple of days won't fix," I say trying to ease his mind.

"With regards to Sky?" he asks as if it was obvious that was what he meant.

"Father threatened her and demanded I have no contact with her. I know what I want to do but I am not sure it is what would be best for her. I need to think some then I can answer your question, little brother," I say slowly making it to my feet with his help. Sasuke didn't say anything else, helping me to my room, turning on the shower before leaving for the night.

The moment he closed my door, I ran to the bathroom and threw up anything I could have had in my stomach. My body was rebelling for being overworked and I was going to pay for it for the next few days.

Eventually, I showered and put on a pair of sweat pants before collapsing on my bed grabbing my phone, 1:45 a.m. I sigh trying to figure out what I was going to say to Sky or if I should even tell her, even knowing I had to be up in roughly two and a half hours my world faded to black thinking about her and how much I screwed up to end up being punished by my father either way but most importantly afraid for her safety.

"Itachi?" I hear from outside my door.

"Hmm?" I say barely awake. I hear my door open Sasuke walking into my room.

"It's 3:30, I didn't hear your shower so I am checking on you," he says in a bored tone.

"Oh, yeah, thanks," I groaned trying to sit up before he grabbed my arm to help.

"Was it bad after I left?" Sasuke asked still holding my arm.

"It was nothing particularly new, are you okay?" I say ask worried about him.

"Yes, just a little sore, he wasn't able to hit me. I think we outmatch father now Itachi. Are you going to be able to move on your own though?" he asks not releasing my arm.

"I have the same arrived at the same conclusion. Guess we'll see, I need to talk to Sky," I say attempting to stand, my legs were weak and shaking but I stayed upright by holding onto my bedframe. I hesitate to take a step the moment I tried my right knee gave out, causing Sasuke to have to catch me.

"Are you sure you want to do that?" he asks remembering what I told him last night.

"Yes, it doesn't matter what he does to me I want to be with her because she makes everything better," I say nodding.

"What if he hurts her?" Sasuke asks concerned.

"I will inform her of what was said and let her decide. If she decided not to want to be involved then I will respect her wishes and keep my distance." I say the thought causing my chest to hurt.

"Father and mother are gone for two weeks and there will be no staff until Wednesday. Take some Tylenol, I'll bring her here," Sasuke says shaking his head at me.

"You think she'll come?" I ask doubtfully.

"I'll figure it out and have Naruto help me," he says sounding determined.

"You like him, huh?" I ask knowing my brother better then he knows himself.

"Hn," is all Sasuke says before walking out of my room causing me to chuckle.

I sit down on my bed scooting sitting against the headboard, every part of my body aching. I try to focus on my phone but my mind keeps wandering to her. Her smile, her laugh, her fiery attitude, everything she told my father the night before, and my admitting that I loved her. I pinpointed as to when it happened, I loved her from the first day I met her and she cursed me out. Knowing I would do anything to protect her, make her happy, relieve any stress I could no matter the effect on me, made me smile ensuring that I loved her.

Normal POV

Naruto and I stayed up most the night talking about what happened with Itachi, his feelings for Sasuke, and the football game.

He finally convinced me to hear Itachi out if he tried to talk about it before we passed out on the living room floor blankets, pillows, and cushions all over it.

There was a pounding on my door that woke me up, I ignore it but it didn't stop. I begrudgingly got up still half asleep. I opened the door to see Sasuke standing on the other side. I just left the door open, walked back to the living room, kicked Naruto, curled up on the floor again trying to fall back asleep.

"Hey! What's the big idea?" I hear Naruto yell sitting up.

"Shut up, your boy toy is here," I grumble throwing something at him.

"What are you doing here Sasuke? What time is it?" Naruto asks searching for his phone.

"It's about 6, get up both of you, we're going to my house," Sasuke says walking into the living room.

"6 P.M.?" Naruto asks sitting up still looking for his phone.

"A.M. Now get up," Sasuke says pushily.

"What!" Naruto and I yell at him.

"I'll carry you out if I have to Sky," he snaps.

"What's got your ball sack in a twist?" I ask not seeing this side of him before but not moving from my comfy spot.

"You and Itachi need to talk and makeup. We are all aware he fucked up last night but you make him happy and he deserves to be. Our dad put him through enough last night when we got home he doesn't need to beat himself up anymore because of his one mistake," Sasuke said taking both Naruto and me back.

"You cursed," Naruto said dumbstruck.

"Shut up," Sasuke snaped.

"Ducky, calm the fuck down," I say knowing I needed to take him seriously but not sure if I was ready to be awake or makeup with Itachi. Within moments I feel myself be hoisted up over Sasuke's shoulder.

"Put me down!" I snapped struggling but not wanting to hurt him. He opened the door with one hand and deposited me in the front seat before going back for Naruto. I watch Sasuke coming out dragging a screaming Naruto by his shirt. I saw he had grabbed my phone, wallet, keys, and an old black zip-up hoodie.

"I don't wanna go! I wanna go back to sleep!" Naruto whined struggling against the grip on him.

"Shut up, you can sleep when we get there," Sasuke says not very happily.

"Naruto, knock it off, I don't want to go and I want more sleep too but the faster we get this done the faster we can come home and sleep our weekend away as we want," I snap from the front seat.

"Fine, I don't see why I have to go if Sky just needs to listen to Itachi," he huffed climbing behind the driver's seat to get in the back.

"He does have a point," I say giving him a questioning look. He just glances over to me with an "I don't want to say it out loud" look making me smirk and nod as we pull out of my neighborhood in silence.

We pull in front of the mansion, still something I am not used to, but it was mesmerizing.

"There are some things you need to know before you go inside," Sasuke says slightly turning to look at me.

"What would those be ducky?" I ask curiously.

"I assume Naruto has told you at least some things about my family as a whole?" Sasuke asks glancing back at a spaced out Naruto.

"Your father mostly," I reply.

"I don't know what all he told you or how accurate it was but here you go. Being a part of the Uchiha family means your life is already figured out for you, where you will go to school and graduate, where you will go to college, what major you will work towards, down to what position you will hold in the company once the previous are met. After all that it will be decided, who you will marry and when. It has been this way for all time to keep order amongst the family. All of this is headed by the main house head which right now is my father. Once my father is forced to retire or Itachi turns 25, whichever happens first, that responsibility falls to him as the firstborn of the main house and our father can do nothing with regards to contesting it." Sasuke says taking a slight break.

"That's fucking stupid," I growl.

"As stupid as it sounds that is how it has been for many generations. Itachi wants to change that, he wants to become the head and make changes that would benefit the main and branch house. As you can imagine that comes with a lot of expectations and responsibilities. Itachi has it much worse then I do, that's for sure. He is expected to be perfect in anything concerning the mind, body, and/or soul. Our father doesn't punish us like you see most parents do there are times he makes Itachi and I spar and Itachi being more skilled always wins but doesn't want to hurt me. Father demands him to "end it" meaning I pass out, Itachi beats himself up for days after.

Last night after the game when we got home, our father instructed us to meet in the basement. After some warm-up exercises, he decided the three of us were going to spar. Itachi took the brunt of the attacks distracting our father enough I was able to land two attacks. Right after the second, he sent me to my room. It was then we realized our father is no longer able to keep up with both of us as he has previously. After I left the basement it seems he threatened "to take care of you" likely meaning hurt you, and from what I could tell Itachi was distracted because of that based on the additional injures I could see.

I believe it is just a matter of weeks before Itachi will be stronger, quicker and a better fighter than my father but his weakness is he doesn't want to hurt others even someone as despicable as our father. Last night by the time father was done, it was 1:30 in the morning and I had to help my brother off the floor and into his room. I can bet you anything that the moment I left he threw up whatever he could have still had in his stomach. He could barely move this morning but he still tried to force himself out of bed to go talk to you, hence why I picked you up at 6 in the morning." Sasuke says finishing quietly.

"Oh ducky," I whisper feeling so bad for Itachi. That was when the guilt of being mad at him over not own up to our relationship hit.

"Let me continue, our cousin Shisui killed himself in front of Itachi because of the pressure of being an Uchiha, he was the member of a branch portion of the family. Itachi knew what he was going to do but he also understood how he felt. He insisted to be there when it occurred so our cousin wouldn't die alone, Shisui was his best friend. Shisui died knowing that Itachi was going to do whatever he had to, to ensure that something like this would never happen again.

Itachi has struggled with anxiety and depression most of his life as you can imagine and it has gotten to some points I wondered when I woke up the next morning if my brother would still be alive or if he had finally given up on the hope things would get better. Mere weeks before we started at Konoha my brother didn't show emotions, didn't show he cared about anyone, was antisocial, scaring off anyone that even came close to him and neglecting his birthright. This leads to our father continually pushing his body and mind to points in which Itachi would break begging our father to stop or to allow him to stop. Our father gets sick pleasure over controlling us, making us fear him as you brought up last night. He pushes the boundaries of our mind and body to see how long it takes for him to break us, making us beg for it to be over.

"Oh my God! That's horrific! How could the authorities allow that to happen?" I ask in shock.

"Then came you," Sasuke paused. This took me by surprise causing me to focus closely on what Sasuke was going to say.

"The first day we went to Konoha there you were all 5'2 of you, dressed in black and dark red hair yelling and poking Itachi the moment he got out of the vehicle. No one had ever had the guts to do that and even after you found out who he was, you got crazier. I hadn't seen that much amusement and light in my brother's eyes in years, Itachi fell for you almost immediately his demeanor changing instantaneously.

He fell in love with you that same day, when you took out Jugo with a single punch not missing a beat instructing us what you needed to treat Naruto after he was fighting with Jugo, hearing the brief information about your parents' demise, the way you and Naruto interact with each other is something my brother and I have always strived to achieve yet we are unable to. You two look at each other with so much love, understanding, and compassion even though he is an idiot that doesn't think before he speaks and you are a surprisingly hostile woman towards most. You two radiate an aura that Itachi and I envy more then you would believe, communicating without exchanging words. We long to be a part of it, but at the same time, it brings us the peace we haven't experienced in our life even while looking on from the outside.

Then there was the first morning we came over, Itachi lied to our father with regards to what we were going to be doing that day. My brother had never lied a day in his life before that but he wanted to see you and he knew our father would never approve. You and Naruto are a foreign species to us, you are loud, you curse way too much, you're disrespectful, you're fearless and explosive, you dress how you do, you sleep into the afternoon but you also are an 18-year-old doing whatever she can and has to, to provide her 17-year-old little brother.

I admire you, and Itachi is awe-stricken by you Skyler. The way he lights up around you every day, makes me worry less and less that I might not have a brother when I wake up the next morning. Itachi has never been in a relationship before you have to understand that, he has never found someone that he looks at the way I see him looking at you. Itachi knows how much he screwed up not just admitting to being in a relationship with you. Even in the position of horrific stress on his body that it caused him to throw up his only concern was you.

Please Sky, I beg of you, hear him out, please be forgiving. My brother is the most important person in my life and right now he is psychically and mentally on the brink of breaking and you are the only one to pull him back. Please just try to understand and feel even a little if you can with all I have told you how Itachi feels." Sasuke finished on the brink of tears, Naruto puts a comforting hand on Sasuke's arm sniffling himself.

"I will ducky, Naruto and I talked until way late last night. He made me realize I had no reason to hold this against Itachi, I saw your father and I knew the basics of the kind of man he is. The way your father cast fear into both of you with only a sentence pissed me off. I'm was mad at Itachi sure but I still want to protect him, I would never want him to be in pain, you either. I do love your brother Sasuke but there are some things in play that I am not sure if we can make it through them but I am willing to try. You said your father threatened me but I want to ensure you no matter what he said I do not regret one thing I said to him at the game and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat." I said honestly putting a hand on his hand that is clinched in a tight fist on his middle console.

"Thank you Sky," Sasuke says giving me a slight smile. I heard Sasuke's phone vibrate and with that, he got out of the car Naruto and me following him.

"Wait is your dad home?" I ask stopping outside the door.

"No he and mom are in Japan for two weeks and the house cleaner came yesterday," he says unlocking the door.

Itachi's POV

It felt like forever since Sasuke left. Eventually, I gave in and texted him:

Me: Where are you? Is she coming? Is she being stubborn?

Sasuke: We're here.

I make my way downstairs to see what is taking so long as I stop to see her staring at the door before talking to Sasuke.

Normal POV

I stare at the entrance not sure I am ready to go in. The guilt I feel that Itachi got hurt because of me is overwhelming. Plus the fact that going through everything he does, he has to deal with my crazy ass and a large amount of baggage that comes along with me.

"Sky are you coming?" Sasuke asks looking back at me.

"I don't know if I can ducky," I say trying not to cry.

"What! Why?" he snaps.

"Itachi got hurt because of me and what I said, plus with all, he is going through at home he is dealing with my crazy ass and the malls worth of baggage that comes along with me. It would be better if I just disappear from his life, he has a whole family he is going to be taking care of in a matter of a few years, a multibillion-dollar company to run, a plan for his future. I barely know what I am doing tomorrow, it isn't right to add my issues on top of all that Sasu."

"You don't get it," Sasuke sighs.

"I get it, he thinks he loves me, being that I am his first girlfriend. I am toxic from him Sasuke you of all people should see that all the things you said to describe me are true, and you know I don't belong in this world. Even if somehow Itachi is able to be with me I am not someone who is meant for fame, fortune, and fairytales. I am a realist Sasuke, a poor girl that lives on the wrong side of town and lives off of the state. I don't know if I am going to go to college, I don't know if I will be able to graduate high school, I don't know what I am going to do in life. Itachi deserves more than that, he deserves someone of his class and status. Someone who can take care of him and not someone he has to take care of. Itachi deserves the world and every good thing that comes with it, but I can't give him that. Your brother is the most amazing man I have ever met, and because of that, it is best that I walk away, stop complicating his life more, and let him find someone equally as amazing that he can be happy with forever," I ended turning my back towards the door walking down their driveway scheduling a pickup.

"Sky!" I hear Sasuke yell.

"Skyler Marie Uzumaki, stop!" Naruto snaps at me, but I ignore him

Itachi's POV

My heart is breaking in two hearing that she feels that way. She thinks she causes so many problems but she has no clue how much she fixes. I have to follow her, I have to chase her, I can't let her walk away so easily. I push past Sasuke jogging to catch up with the love of my life. Every part of my body is screaming in pain but I try to ignore it.

"Sky!" I call out about 50 feet behind her causing her to turn around, I can see she is crying. I can feel the burn in my throat, the difficulty breathing, the waves of despair washing over me. Feelings I haven't felt since my best friend died.

"Ita," she whispers looking at me, as soon as I make it to her I fall to my knees wrapping my arms around her waist and crying into her stomach.

"Please don't leave me Sky. I don't think I love you, I know I love you. I don't care where you live, where you're from, how much baggage you have, or what your future looks like; I just want to be apart of it. I know you think it is your fault my father hurt me but no matter what either of us said he was going to punish me. Even if you weren't there he is always looking for a reason to control me, my life, my choices. it will never be your fault, it's my father's fault he hurts me and no matter what he does to me I want to always know you are safe. I will become the head of the family, the head of the company. I will make the Uchiha a family people want to be a part of, a family you and Naruto want to be a part of.

You said I deserve the world and every good thing in it. Sky you have to understand, you are my world, my happiness, sanity, and strength revolve around you. You are the only person that can make the other things in this world see obsolete. You don't complicate my life, in fact, it is the exact opposite, you make me want to be a better person. It has become a life I want to live in, to push myself harder to achieve every goal. A life I enjoy and appreciate every single day I get to wake up knowing you are just a short drive away, and that you will always let me in no matter the time or what is going on, given I bring food and coffee.

I don't want a future with someone of my status, I don't want someone that takes care of me. I want to be with the easily angered, abnormally violent, hot-headed, stubborn, loud-mouthed, protective, strong, and fearless redhead right in front of me. The girl who wears a winter coat and a huge fuzzy scarf, that brings her whole bedding set to a football game but attends to support her brother, friends, and me. The girl who after disapproving of glittery and painted signs go to the store to get the stuff to make one for her brother to apologize and to see him smile, the one who tells my father everything I have been too afraid to say all my life." I had to stop to breathe feel like I was on the edge of a panic attack

Normal POV

Walking away from the house was the hardest thing I had ever had to do. The moment I turned my back tears fell from my eyes.

"Sky!" I hear a voice I knew so well, one I had longed to hear, I turned around to see him running down the driveway after me.

"Ita," I whispered seeing there was a slightly pained expression on his face that made the tears heavier. When Itachi fell to his knees in front of me, crying into me I didn't know what to do. Every part of me wanted to hug him, tell him everything would be okay.

"Please don't leave me Sky," the words my brother spoke just a couple weeks before I wanted to, ensure him that I was never going anywhere but I couldn't.

Itachi started saying everything a girl could ever want to hear, by the time he said he was going to make the Uchiha family one that Naruto and I would want to be a part of, I fell to my knees speechless but still listening to him.

"You said I deserve the world and every good thing in it. Sky you have to understand, you are my world, my happiness, sanity, and strength revolve around you. " Itachi you are a huge part of my world too.

"It's my father's fault he hurts me," I hear him say and he was right.

"I don't want a future with someone of my status, I don't want someone that takes care of me. I want to be with the easily angered, abnormally violent, hot-headed, stubborn, loud-mouthed, protective, strong, and fearless redhead right in front of me." That's me, this is real, this can't be real. My mind was racing with everything he has said. I am staring at this man in front of me who is laying his whole heart and soul in front of me, the one that is falling apart because of me. I was brought back to reality when I saw him trembling, sweating, and having a hard time breathing,

"Ita, calm down baby, you're having a panic attack. Close your eyes, breath deep and slowly," I grabbed his hands that were clenched in tights fists, rubbing my thumb over the top of them.

"Focus on my touch love, it will be okay." I put my forehead against him as I continue trying to bring him out of it. I move which causes him to panic but I get right behind him wrapping my arms around his waist, grab his hands still rubbing them with my thumbs, and lay my head against his back just holding him.

"Sky," I hear him whisper a few minutes later barely audible.

"I'm right here Itachi," I say still behind him.

"Please don't leave me," he begs still barely audible.

"I got you, I promise," I say before moving back in front of him. He barely picks his head up for me to see his puffy eyes, wet face, and look of despair. I thought walking away from the house was the hardest thing I did today, well that was nothing compared to now.

"I love you Sky, I really, really do. I know for sure I am in love with you. I'd do anything for you," he says looking into my eyes.

"I know baby, I know," I say pulling him in for a hug, as I feel him nuzzling the crook of my neck.

"I'm sorry Sky, I am so sorry,"

"Baby look at me," I say putting my hand under his chin as he complies.

"You have no reason to be sorry, you did nothing wrong," I say giving him a slight smile.

"I should have told my father we were dating, I wanted to tell him, instead I just froze like a coward,"

"Oh Ita, you are far from being a coward in my eyes," I say hugging him close again.

"Please forgive me Sky," he whispers in my ear.

"I forgive you Itachi, I swear, even if I don't think there is anything to forgive you of. You are a huge part of my life and I am thankful you showed up in it even if I said I hated you on the first day. Everything will be okay, I know you will be the most amazing leader of your family and the business. If you don't want me to leave, I won't leave. I will stay by your side as long as I can," I say finally speaking my mind.

"I never want you to leave," I hear him say before kissing me, I kiss back hungrily as my emotions are running wild.

"Let's head back to the house baby," I say standing up, before helping him up.

I grab my phone to call my brother:

"Where are you?"

"Okay get down to the entry."

"Yes we are both okay," I say before hanging up. It was just a matter of moment before I saw Naruto and Sasuke coming down the stairs.

"Sky! Itachi!" Naruto cheers rushing down the stairs seeing us holding hands.

"Yes Naru, so Sasu what did you have to do to prevent, my brother from following Itachi and spying?" I said smiling at both of them.

"Oh right! Sky I need to talk to you," I hear my brother cheer.

"Um..." before I can say more Naruto is dragging me away from the brothers and into a kitchen.

"We kissed! Sasuke and I kissed! It was amazing! He is certainly bi-confused but oh my god it was so soft and sexy. We're officially a couple! He even put his arms around me."

"Aw, I'm so happy for you! Sasu is a great guy, I approve. Was he putting his arms around you in a romantic way or to prevent you from snooping?" I ask chuckling.

"It was for both duh! Just like Itachi does with you," he replies with dreamy eyes.

"You know if you pull someone away to talk to them, it is recommended you don't talk loud enough the people you walked away from can hear you." I hear Sasuke walk into the kitchen arms crossed over his chest, Itachi right behind him.

"Shut up," Naruto pouted. All I can do is laugh at the ridiculousness I call my brother. I see Naruto put his arms around Sasuke from the back, putting his chin in the crook of his neck kissing the side of his neck. I was surprised Naruto was the dominant one in the relationship but I suppose experience matters. Moments later I feel Itachi does the same pulling me from my thoughts.

Itachi's POV

Everything felt right in the world again, I have the love on my life in my arms, I was able to tell her everything I felt and she accepted it. My brother finally gave in to his desires and kissed Naruto. The house was quiet and we were all alone holding the ones we love the most, close to us as they are obsessively looking through social media feeds, showing us posts every few seconds.

"Where's your room?" I hear the girl in my arms ask leaning back against me looking at me.

"Let me show you," I said leading her upstairs. I hear our brothers following I open the door inviting them in. She looks to be admiring the decor.

"Sasuke told me, everything, including about Shisui," she says looking down at her hands. I look over glaring at him while he scratches the back of his head, backing out and going into his room.

"Are you okay?" she asks looking over me.

"I like the nickname," I say trying to change the subject grabbing her hands and holding them in mine.

"Nope, not changing the subject. Nice try though," she huffs staring straight into my eyes.

"Sky it is nothing," I say trying to ease her mind.

"Really?" She asks with an "I know you're lying" look.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch! Okay, I got it, I'm lying," I cry out as she pokes my stomach, arms, and thighs.

"Mhmm, don't lie to me Itachi," she snaps in all seriousness.

"I'm sorry," I look down at our hands ashamed. She lets go of one of my hands using it to lift my chin so I am looking at her again. She kisses me with so much passion and feelings I melt under her touch.

"I love you too, Itachi Uchiha," she smirks pulling away.

"Wait? what?" I ask confused forgetting I told her that in the driveway.

"Well, Sasuke told me first, then you said it in the driveway," was all she said causing me to shake my head and kiss her again.

"Well I do love you Skyler Uzumaki," I smile pulling her close to me. We stayed in this position for an unknown amount of time.

"Where's your tv?" I hear her ask looking around the room.

"No tv," I say looking at her

"Anywhere?" she asks wide-eyed.

"My father's study but that is locked," I say waiting for her to freak out.

"I can pick the lock," she shrugs looking at me in all seriousness.

"That is terrifying but no," I say wondering where she learned that skill from.

"Naruto!" I hear her scream causing me to jump, put a hand over her mouth and cringe from the loudness. She bites my finger hard enough to make me jump letting her go.

"What's up?" Naruto walks in without knocking.

"Did you bring the tablet by chance?" she asks.

"Ya, I'll grab it," Sasuke follows Naruto back in.

"No internet though," Naruto says tossing it on the bed.

Normal POV

"I'll use our hotspot, let's sit over in this cozy room thing,"

I walk over to the couches flopping down on one to set up the tablet on the coffee table in front of them. I see Itachi limping over to me sitting down next to me letting out a breath.

"Do you need a doctor?" Naruto asked watching him as well.

"I will be fine, it isn't the first time," I hear him shrug dismissing it. There was a part of me that was still fuming and wanted to meet the head Uchiha again and give him a piece of my mind.

"Sky, don't even," I here Sasuke say from the other couch.

"Don't know what you are talking about ducky," I say not fooling anyone but pressing play as I cuddle up to Itachi.

I wasn't sure how long it was but Naruto and I fell asleep.

Itachi POV

I look down at my side to see Sky fast asleep halfway through the movie. I look over to Sasuke as he has the blonde's head in his lap stroking his hair. He looked over to me concerned.

"It's fine, little brother, we can't help who we fall in love with," I say pulling Sky closer to me. I hear him let out a sigh playing with the blondes hair. We both start focusing our phones a couple of hours passing as we are still stuck with the Uzumaki siblings asleep on us.

I feel movement from my side as Sky opens her eyes sleepily looking up at me. She was so adorable I just hugged her closer.

"What time is it?" she asks looking around getting her bearings as to where she was.

"About 10 a.m." I replied looking down at her.

"Oh," she said sitting up. She grabs her phone and throws it at Naruto's stomach.

"What the hell!?" he yells sitting up quickly startling Sasuke.

"Time to wake up," was all she said looking over my arm to see what was on my phone, where I was just looking at business news.

"I'm hungry," Naruto whines yawning. Sky grabs my phone looking through my apps.

"You're always hungry and Itachi you are the most boring teenager in history," she says continuing to swipe.

"You said your parents weren't home and no staff right?" Naruto asks smirking at me, it was like I could read his mind.

"It's just us, why?" Sasuke replies looking at him. He and I say nothing before rushing out of Itachi's room, it was mere moments before the brothers were after us. We made it down the stairs and just started running down halls opening random doors to see what was behind them. We got down the second hallway, I was looking behind me for Itachi but only seeing Sasuke. Just as I turn to look ahead of me I feel arms going around my waist twirling me around all I could do was laugh.

"Not fair!" I hear Naruto yell as Sasuke has his arms draped on his shoulders.

"Where do you think you two were going?" Itachi asks looking between Naruto and me.

"An adventure, I thought you were broken" I wheeze out gently pulling the band holding Itachi's hair out. I can't help but smile as I see it cascade down his shoulders.

"Just sore, but I will always chase after you, my love," I hear Itachi say next to my ear.

"Hmmph," I grunt wanting to run again. I look at Naruto who is smirking at me, it was like we were reading each other's mind, much to the displeasure of the Uchiha brothers.

"Now!" Naruto says breaking away from Sasuke, as I break away from Itachi making haste out the front door. We try to close it to slow them down to little avail. Naruto and I had no idea where we were going but we just kept running through the perfect grass laughing like idiots. We started running down a hill when we get jumped on by the brothers causing us four to roll down switching top and bottom roles every roll. It ended with me on top of Itachi and Naruto moved quickly to get on top of Sasuke. We were laughing hysterically as we looked at each other, then the victims beneath us. Unknown to us we lean down at the same time capturing our respective Uchiha's lips with our own. I feel Itachi kiss back still pinned beneath me, my red hair mixing with his black on the grass. I knew without a doubt that if he wanted to overpower me it could be done by a flick of his wrist, the fact he looks so sexy under me, with no intention of taking control drove me crazy. I take a deep breath as not to jump my boyfriend's bones in the middle of this field.

I look up to see Naruto leaning down to kiss Sasuke, Sasuke meeting him halfway with a hand on Naruto's face. Itachi looks over to see what I am staring out and softly smiles at the scene as I do.

"Awe," I squeal quietly getting off Itachi, we walked hand in hand back to the house staying behind Sasuke and Naruto who were walking side by side pushing each other now and again.

Itachi's POV

Skip Three weeks

I get to school and I don't see Sky's car where it always is. I tried to call her and her phone was off, I tried to call Naruto and his phone was off.

"Hey, did Naruto say anything about not being here?" I ask Sasuke.

"I haven't heard from him since yesterday afternoon," Sasuke replies.

"That was the last time I heard from Sky too," I say becoming worried.

"Kankuro, Gaara, have you heard from Sky or Naruto," I ask as Sasuke and I rush to their lockers.

"Not since yesterday afternoon," Kankuro said Gaara nodding in agreement.

"What was the last thing they said to you?" Sasuke asks.

"See you tomorrow," Kankuro said looking at his phone.

"I'm hungry but the kitchen is too far away," Gaara said looking at his.

"I got an "I'll see you tomorrow my love, have a good night," I said looking over at Sasuke.

"Something perverted followed by I'm hungry but the kitchen is too far away," Sasuke replied.

"Let's go to their house," I hear Kankuro say walking towards the door.

"We'd be skipping school," Sasuke pointed out.

"Well, little Uchiha I would have hoped you'd be more worried about your boyfriend then missing a class," Kankuro replied.

"Hn," Sasuke replies following, Kankuro and Gaara get into the hummer with us as I speed out of the parking lot. We got there in a few minutes, I knocked but didn't hear anything and her car wasn't in her driveway.

"The door is locked," I said looking over to Kankuro.

"Wow, she hasn't shown you the hide-a-key? Interesting," he snickered. Ever since he got rejected by Sky to be with me he has been irritating, but I did understand where he was coming from. I am removed from my trance as he picks up a fake rock, grabs the key, and heads inside.

"What's the date?" I heard Gaara ask from the doorway.

"November 3rd, why?" I asked as Kankuro's and Gaara's widened.

"Shit!" I heard Kankuro curse grabbing his phone.

"Sky! I'm so sorry, I didn't realize what day it was! You need to call me back like now! At least tell us where you two are, Itachi, Sasuke, Gaara, and I are in your house right now. I know you aren't okay but please let someone help you, let one of us know you two are okay. Call me back like now, love ya."

"Care to fill us in?" I ask crossing my arms not a fan of him telling my girlfriend that he loves her.

"Their mom died a year ago today," Gaara states texting one of them.

"Naru you need to call me or text me back as soon as you get this. I'm sorry I wasn't aware of what day it was, please let Itachi and me be there for you and Sky. We are worried about you both, call me back," I hear Sasuke leave a voicemail.

"Sky I need to know you are safe, I know I am the worst boyfriend in the world for not knowing the significance of today and I am truly sorry. Please call or text one of us back as soon as you get this, you mean the world to me, my love, I need to know you are okay," I finish as I hang up secretly adding words to upset Kankuro.

"Where are some significant locations?" Sasuke asks trying to think where they could be today.

"Well, there is the intersection where they were in the accident, there are their gravesites, and there is the park by the river they went all the time as a family that houses their family tree," Kankuro said looking to be figuring out which one they would be at.

"Let's go, Kankuro sit upfront so you can direct me," I say not waiting for agreements.

We went to the intersection noticing there were fresh flowers resting against the sign. I pulled into the parking lot behind the intersection walking over to the get a closer look, the others behind me. When I got close enough to see the sign better, I was taken by surprise.

"Looks just like her huh?" Kankuro said looking at the sign.

"Identical," was all I could say looking at the sign trying to ignore the fact that this could have been Sky's memorial, without reading it looked like it was.

"Today life was lost, a mother taken away from her two children, a nurse from the hospital, and a best friend that will never be forgotten. Do not drink and drive, this could be you, or someone you love," I hear Sasuke read.

"They were hit by a drunk driver?" I asked looking over at the Sabaku brothers.

"Yeah, he ran a red light, then fled the scene" Gaara informed us.

"Where to next?" I ask walking away wanting more than anything to be holding Sky right now.

"Graves," Kankuro said as we head there.

We got there and once again we see fresh flowers on the headstones.

"Here lies Kushina Uzumaki beloved mother, wife, best friend, and RN. 03/24/1984 to 11/03/2019," I hear Sasuke read again.

"Here lies Minato Uzumaki beloved father, husband, best friend, and first responder. 07/07/1987 to 11/06/2019," I read the other.

This is what their family looked like a year ago today," Gaara says tossing my his phone. I see a smiling, bright red-headed woman with emerald-colored eyes that Sky could easily be mistaken for and then I see a blonde spikey hair man with sapphire-colored eyes holding a peace sign out above Naruto's head. Their family looks so happy and Sky looks so happy.

"He looks identical," Sasuke gasped.

"Yep, that was taken the afternoon before they headed to the restaurant, " Gaara says grabbing his phone.

"Their father died three days later than their mom?" I asked.

"Yeah, that is a story you will need to hear from Sky, it's not my place to divulge," Kankuro said, I just nod understanding.

"Where to next?" I ask as we get back in the vehicle.

"The park," Kankuro said directing me again. The park was about 20 minutes outside of town. It was a small park with a little area with kid toys in the sand, the river flowed right next to it. It would have been relaxing if I wasn't trying to find my missing girlfriend and her brother.

"The tree?" Gaara asks his brother.

"Yeah," Kankuro looked at Sasuke and I obviously judging something.

"Is there a problem?" I ask getting irritated with him again.

"Depends, got a problem getting dirty?" Kankuro asks crossing his arms.

"No why would we be?" I snap at him not in the mood for games.

"Oh, I don't know since you are wearing Air Jordans, Gucci jeans, and your Ralph Lauren shirts. I can deduce you two don't get dirty often." He snaps back.

"Let's go," Sasuke snaps at both of us. He certainly wasn't joking when he said we were going to get dirty. We were walking through a forest having to step over a creek, walk in a swamp, walk across fallen trees, trudged through mud, and lastly climbed a hill to get on top of a rock monument. In the middle of the rock bed, there was a single tree growing, its location was so abnormal. The four of us walked over to see little talismans hanging from it.

"Is this a little Sky?" Sasuke asks dusting off what looks like a tree ornament.

"Yeah, I think she was four then," Kankuro said.

"Naruto was a fat baby," I commented looking at another.

"Yeah, he was twice the size of Gaara, always used to sit on him to get what he wanted," I notice Kankuro's smile. He really did love this family, as much as Sasuke and me, it seemed.

"Hmmph, shut up," Gaara said not wanting to be reminded.

"Well, it looks like they have been here too," Gaara says pulling down a spotless ornament, in it was a picture of Naruto and Sky one the first day of school, sticking their tongues out at the camera. I couldn't help but smile looking at their connection and funny faces.

"I'm not sure where else they would be," Kankuro said scratching the back of his head as we got back to the hummer.

"We just skipped a full day of school," Gaara said looking at his phone.

"What about where Sky works, she likely told them she was leaving right?" I asked trying to not panic to Gaara's comment.

Oh yeah! We should go there," Kankuro agrees. I look at him waiting for directions.

"Wow, you don't know where your girlfriend works?"

"She wouldn't tell me, worried I'd show up and she doesn't want me to see her that way," I replied.

"Shari's on 3rd," Kankuro said knowing I had an idea where it was.

"Hey Sharon, four for here!" Kankuro yelled into the kitchen. We sit down in a booth and not long there is an older woman in a black button-up collapsed shirt, black slacks, black shoes, and a black apron.

"Hey, kiddos it's been a while, who are these handsome gentlemen?" She asks nodding towards Sasuke and me.

"That's Sky's boyfriend, Itachi Uchiha, and that's Naruto's boyfriend Sasuke Uchiha," he answered obviously not amused at her attention to us.

"Like billionaire Fugaku's sons Itachi and Sasuke Uchiha?" she asked surprised.

"Ya them," Kankuro sighs.

"Oh, wow!"

Excuse me, ma'am, did Sky reach out to you with regard to taking time off?" I asked just wanting answers.

"She hasn't but I assumed she would need some time so I didn't put her on the schedule for this week, is she okay?" she asks tapping her chin.

"We haven't heard from either of them since yesterday afternoon, this was the last spot to look for information. Thank you, Sharon," Kankuro says getting out of the booth.

I dropped the Sabaku brothers off at their house before heading to ours.

"Do you think they are okay?" Sasuke asks looking at me, eyes full of worry.

"I'm not sure if they are emotionally okay but they have each other which is at least something," I say trying to reassure him.

"Why wouldn't they tell us? Why would they hide it from us?" Sasuke asks getting upset.

"Little brother I doubt they intentionally tried to hide this from us, it is likely hard for them to talk about so avoiding the subject is for the best. It has only been a year since their lives became chaotic. A loss like theirs does not just go away within a few months, you also need to consider that every time they looked in a mirror they had to see their parents just like we did."

"You're right, I am just worried about them,"

"Me too, me too," I said as we pull into our driveway

We had left countless voicemails and texts as have Kankuro and Gaara. It came to the point where both their mailboxes were full so we couldn't leave anymore. Sasuke and I haven't seen or heard from Sky or Naruto in three days. Neither Sasuke nor I were sleeping well, waking up checking our phones any time they made a noise praying it was one of them reaching out.

Normal POV

Today marked one year since we lost everything except each other. We had visited everywhere relative to our parents in Konoha before we headed to Taki. The place our parents met, went to college, got engaged and married, the place they found out about me and decided that they wanted to go back to our father's home town to raise their family.

We walked into Taki University taking in the sights exploring quietly. It had been a quiet day, we turned off our phones that morning and many times found ourselves sitting in silence memories flooding our mind. We decided to stay here a couple of days, walking around and exploring a place we had only been to once when we were younger. Our parents wanted to show us all their special spots that they had established here just like the ones we visited in the ones in Konoha

"Sky come look at this!" I hear Naruto call out looking into a glass cabinet.

"What is it?" I asked not knowing the answer once I saw it. There was a picture of our parents, my dad in his football jersey #3, and jeans with our mom in front of him, his arms around her waist, head in the crook of her neck. Our mom in clothes similar to what I wore, I fell to my knees thinking about all the times I had been in that position with Itachi. The fact he and my dad shared a number, I had been in this position so many times with Itachi I fell to my knees in shock.

"We should call them," Naruto says looking at me.

"I can't," I say not sure what I would say to, we left without a word and had been gone for three days. Knowing our boyfriends though they had probably hired someone by now to track us down.

"I will," Naruto said grabbing his phone and mine turning them on, the phones just continue vibrating trying to catch up with all the notifications we had.

"Wow!" Naruto says looking between his phone and mine.

"What?" I ask moving closer to him, looking at my screen, 30 new voicemails, 112 new text messages, 87 missed calls. My eyes widen as I look through some of them. All the items had been left by Itachi, Sasuke, Gaara, Kankuro and I even had a couple from my boss Sharon. Seeing how worried everyone was made me feel guilty, leaving without a word and going unheard from for days probably wasn't the smartest thing I had ever done. At the time I wasn't able to process my feelings, everything seemed to be happening automatically.

"We should reach out to them," Naruto says again, I just nod in agreement.

Itachi's POV

Thankfully it was the last class on Friday, I wasn't sure what was going on around me. It seemed that without Sky and Naruto in our worlds the four of us were gloomy, irritable, and distracted. A phone vibrating against the hard plastic of the chairs brought me back to reality.

"Whose phone is going off?" I hear the teacher ask. Without caring if we got in trouble the four of us pull out our phones in a hurry praying it was one of us. Sasuke's eyes widened before getting up and rushing out of the classroom, the rest of us on his heels.

"Naruto! Is that you?" Sasuke asks in a shaky voice before putting it on speakerphone.

"Hey Sasu," I hear a familiar blonde's voice.

"Where are you? Where have you been? Are you okay? Is Sky okay?" he asks.

"Haha, um yeah, we are good. We have been reminiscing I guess you could say," Naruto replied obviously nervous.

"Is Sky there?" I follow up with.

"Yeah, Sky, phone!" I hear him call out.

"Hi, guys," I hear a sweet feminine voice I had missed hearing so much come over the speaker.

"Sky! Where are you guys?" I ask wanting to rush over to them now.

"Well we are in Taki," she says chuckling.

"What! Why?" Kankuro asks surprised.

"This is where our parents went to college, met, got engaged, got married, and found out about me, before moving to Konoha.

"Are you coming home?" Gaara asks.

"Yea, we are packing up we should be there sometime early tomorrow morning," she said.

"We'll be at your house," Kankuro said.

"Haha, okay, if you wanna be, well we got to go," she said before we hear rustling in the background.

"Sky!" I call out with a panicked voice.

"Yeah?" I heard her respond.

"I love you," I said not being able to voice anything else.

"I love you too, Itachi, goodbye my boys see you soon," she said before hanging up.

"The four of you, my classroom now," we see Mrs. Blaine glaring at us. Once we got in there she handed us each a yellow piece of paper.

"You're writing us up?" Kankuro snaps as he looks at the paper. I look at the paper to see, Write Up:

Name: Itachi Uchiha

Reason: Unauthorized use of electronics, disruption of class, and unauthorized exiting of the classroom during class time.

Action: Three days after school detention, starting Monday, for a first offense.

Signed and dated by the teacher.

All I can do is stare at the paper, I had never gotten in trouble at school. I looked over to Sasuke and see him just as concerned.

"I will be calling your parents to schedule a time to meet with them in regards to your actions, you're excused," Mrs. Blaine says packing up her stuff.

The Sabaku brother's walking out the door, brought me back to reality, as I silently walk out heading to the parking lot.

"Are you going to Sky's?" Kankuro asks looking back at us, I just nod yes.

"Will you take us?" Gaara asked when Kankuro decided against doing so.

"Yeah, get in," I say and Sasuke and I get into the front seats. We both knew we were going to be in a lot of trouble but our father wasn't getting home for another few days so we both agreed to worry about it then more focused on Sky and Naruto.

Normal POV

We got home at about 3 a.m. I saw Itachi's hummer in the driveway as I pulled in next to it. We grabbed our bags and headed for the house. Opening the door and walking in we were taken by surprise. Itachi and Kankuro were asleep on the couch, while Gaara and Sasuke were on the floor in front of the tv.

Naruto rushed over to Sasuke pouncing on him.

"Ah what the...!" he snaps waking up quickly followed by everyone else.

"Hey Sasu," Naruto said nuzzling his head against Sasuke's neck.

"Naruto!" Sasuke gasps pulling my brother in for a tight hug.

"Sky," I hear my name as Itachi and Kankuro are getting up.

"Hey, guys," I say putting my bag down before being rushed and suffocated by Kankuro. I could see Itachi standing back just staring at me.

"Sky I am so glad you are safe!" Kankuro whispers.

"Yes, Kuro, we're safe," I say as he pulls away. I have yet to break the gaze Itachi and I are sharing.

"Sorry," he says to no one, in particular, scratching the back of his head.

"Itachi," I whisper wondering what he was thinking. Moments later I feel the familiar arms wrap around me as he hides his head in the crook of my neck.

"I was so scared," he whispered so no one would hear him.

"Everything is okay, Ita," I whisper back to him holding him close before he pulled away from me regaining his stoic look.

"What time is it?' Gaara asks looking for his phone.

"A little after three," I say sleepiness hitting me like a truck flopping on to the couch. I look at Naruto to see him leaning against Sasuke who is sitting about the wall, drifting to sleep. He was being held as if Sasuke was never going to let him go again. Moments later I feel Itachi sitting down next to me pulling me into his side as I yawn.

"Get some sleep, my love," I hear Itachi whisper in my ear. I just nod getting comfortable before falling asleep in my boyfriend's arms.

I wake up hearing a beating in my head, I nuzzle into the warm thing I am using as a pillow.

"Goodmorning babe," I hear a deep smooth voice way causing me to open my eyes and stare at an onyx pair I had come to love more than any other.

"Morning, Ita," I say sounding like a witch.

"Mmm, shut up," I hear Naruto groan before clutching on to Sasuke tighter causing the little Uchiha to look down at him with fondness.

"It's time to wake up Naru," I hear Sasuke whisper before kissing the top of his head.

"I don't wanna," Naruto whines causing us to chuckle.

"There is somewhere I want to take you," I say looking up at Itachi.

Itachi's POV

"Sure, my love," I said smiling down at her. When she sat up I missed the warmth immediately.

"Go get some clean clothes on Naruto," she says getting up and heading upstairs followed by her brother.

"Are you going to tell her everything?" Sasuke asked talking about the skipping school, the write-up, and the detention.

"Nope, you?" I asked.

"Nope," he said as we hear the siblings come down the stairs.

"Itachi where are your keys?" I hear Sky ask.

"Here, why?" I grab them from next to me, without a word she walks to me grabs my keys and walks out the front door Naruto in tow, Sasuke and I exchanging concerned looks before following.

"But I wanna drive!" I hear Naruto whining.

"Not a chance in hell, get in the back," I hear her say climbing into the driver's seat.

"What are you doing?" I hear Sasuke say equally as curious.

"Get in, we are taking you somewhere," was all Sky said before closing the door adjusting the seat. I sat in the passenger seat feeling weird, as I was trying not to laugh as she was yet to be able to see over the string wheel. She messes with the seat for a couple more minutes before she could at least see the top of the hood.

"Let's see how this goes," she says putting in reverse, looking at the screen displaying the reversal camera. We pull up to the cemetery, I knew where we were but not why we were here.

"Follow us there are a couple of people we want you to meet," Sky says climbing out. Sasuke and I exchange looks before following them to the graves we were at just days before.

"Hey mom and dad, we're back," Sky says kneeling brushing some dirt off their mom's headstone.

"We want you to meet a couple of people," Naruto says motioning to Sasuke to get closer, my brother crouches next to a now kneeling Naruto.

"Itachi," I hear her say doing the same, as I take the same position as my brother.

"I know this has been the most we have visited all year," Naruto chuckles straightening up the flowers on their father's grave.

"Naruto and I went to Taki, visited the university, we found some interesting things out," I hear Sky follow-up with grabbing a couple of pieces a paper from her pocket.

"You two would have found this hilarious, Naruto and I found the awards case with a picture of you two," she says as she puts a picture down taking Sasuke and me by surprise. I see her father in a #3 jersey with her mom standing in front of him, his arms around sitting on her shoulders as she wearing an ACDC t-shirt, black cargo pants, and blood-red tennis shoes, eyes closed, demonstration the peace sign with her tongue sticking out.

"You see, this is my boyfriend Itachi Uchiha, yes I found another one and as I said I did not become a lesbian," she comments causing Naruto to chuckle.

"He is the most amazing guy you would have ever met, his dad is an asshole though. Anyways back to what I was saying, seeing this picture made me fall to my knees. You see mom and dad, Itachi is the starting quarterback at our school, his number is 3 just like you dad. You would have loved him, though I don't think you would ever stop talking his ear off. This is a picture Gaara took of us the day of a game," I hear her say as she puts down another photo I had forgotten about. I was in my practice jersey on the field at lunchtime. The bell had just rung as I got up, she jumps on my back, taking me by surprise but I catch her anyways. She has her arms draped over my shoulders while I hold her legs at my waist. We both have huge smiles on our faces as I am slightly hunched over looking at the camera and she has her eyes closed, holding the peace sign with her tongue sticking out.

I didn't know what to say, all I could do is stare at the two pictures.

"Dad, I know you believed in destiny and that everything was meant to happen for a reason and I always thought you were ridiculous until I saw these pictures. You see Itachi loves me the way you loved mom, baggage, and all. Similarly, we met pretty much the same way you guys did, except I didn't hit him...too hard. The boarding school across town was closed down so all those students came to public school. I know what you must be thinking, and yes he is apart of one of those families. On the first day of school, I cursed him out, threatened to kick his ass, compared his possible descendants to a pig, and had him help when Naruto did something stupid. By the end of that day he had carried me to a car, took me to his house, and watched Naruto overnight, wild right?" I smile as she tells the stones all about us.

"He is the polar opposite of me, just like you two were of each other. He is quiet, reserved, calm, patient, responsible, respectful, disciplined, and cultured. I would have never thought in a million years I would fall in love with someone like him, but ever since, I have never been happier. He has made me understand how exactly you felt about each other. His presence in my life even brought a brother that Naruto became best friends with," I hear her end smiling at Naruto a tear falling from her right eye. I kneel behind her wrapping my arms around her waist and kiss her temple as she leans into me.

"It is nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Uzumaki, you raised an amazing woman. She is definitely a little hostile, violent, and unpredictable but I love her more than anything else in this world. I promise to treat her with the utmost respect, compassion, and loyalty, and I will do everything in my power to make her happy, take care of her, and keep her out of jail." I finished chuckling as Sky looks back glaring at me before gasping out a laugh. I just look at the amazing woman in my arms holding her as close to me as I could.

"Well, mom and dad, Sky isn't the only one that found love. This is my boyfriend Sasuke Uchiha, he is nothing like his brother though. See I told you Sky and I didn't like the same type of guy," he ends grinning.

"Liar," I hear Sky reply laughing.

"Shush, you had your turn," Naruto says.

"Don't listen to Sky, she doesn't know what she is talking about," he chuckles.

"I'm a 1st string varsity football player this year, we even got Sky to come to some games! You would have died laughing at what she brought her first game, anyways back to me. I tend to get myself in a situation I shouldn't but you both know I never think before I act, that's why you left Sky in charge, right? Sasuke has helped me during most of those this year, he is definitely a thinker rather than a talker. You would have loved him though, he is extremely irritable just like you mom. I used to miss you guys every moment of every day so much it hurt but Sasuke has helped take some of that pain away. I still miss you every day but it is because I wish you were around to see things that happen in our daily lives. Oh yeah, I forgot to add, what's even better is he's rich!" Naruto cheers causing all of us to laugh as he jumps around subjects.

"Naruto!" I hear Sky trying to scold her brother while laughing.

"Itachi is rich too!" Naruto says trying to make a point that wasn't there.

"Yeah, but that wasn't something I focused on adding you, dummy," I hear her say as she puts her hands on mine.

"Whatever, shut up, this is my turn!" Naruto snaps.

"Sorry, sorry, continue," Sky says shaking her head.

"I know you are watching over us, you see everything we do, but I want you to remember, everything is always Sky's fault and that's why I was always your favorite child. Plus she hasn't dated Kankuro so dad and I owe you $50 and I haven't dated Gaara so I guess that means dad and her owe you $50 too. I love and miss you guys so much but I'm okay and I'm happy," I hear Naruto finish a tear running down his face. I see Sasuke pull Naruto into him, Naruto hiding his face in my brother's shoulder shuddering from crying.

"It is nice to meet you as well Mr. and Mrs. Uzumaki, you raised a very strongwilled daughter," my brother says earning a punch from Naruto who is still held in my brother's arms.

"Rude!" Naruto snaps.

"Your son is certainly one of a kind too, I didn't know I was gay out loud until the day I met him. His loud mouth and bright personality, has brightened up my life every day since. I love your son very much and I promise to do everything in my power to make him happy, take care of him, and keep him and Sky out of jail," my brother finishes quoting my words.

Listening to what Naruto and Sasuke said causes Sky to cry more, hiding her face in her hands.

"Come here my love," I say before she throws herself into my chest sobbing. I wasn't sure how long we were there but we just held our respective Uzumaki in our arms letting them release every emotion.

Normal POV

"What's that sound?" Naruto asks pulling away from Sasuke, causing me to pull away from Itachi. Before we could pinpoint what it was the sprinklers turned on all around us, soaking us in moments.

"Cold!" Sasuke snaps. Naruto and I just smirk at each other running in the opposite direction then the brothers trying to get out of the water.

"Really!" I hear the brothers yell in unison before chasing after us. It was certainly disrespectful us to be horsing around in a cemetery and though likely something the Uchiha's would do on their own, Naruto and I tended to initiate things they wouldn't usually do. It was a matter of moments they caught us, we got picked up and spun around before receiving mind-blowing kisses.

"Our apologizes, misses," I hear Itachi say pulling away from me as I caught sight of two elderly women by some stones.

"It's quite okay my dear, ignore my sister," the smiling lady says.

"Are you and the other black hair gentlemen brothers?" The lady asks as Itachi grabs my hand.

"Yes ma'am," Sasuke replies.

"Are the other two of you possibly siblings too?" she asks another question.

"Yes, we are," I answer this time.

"Oh my, look at this Maggy!" the nice lady exclaims causing the other to shake her head.

"Come here if you would my dears," the lady motions to us we walk towards them holding our respective Uchiha's hand.

I stop right next to the nice lady, Itachi behind me putting his around my waist. Naruto stands beside me as Sasuke holding his hands next to his sides.

"I'm Marcy and this is my sister Maggy, these are our husbands, Maxwell and Everette Wilson. Like you guys we were siblings in love with siblings. It is so rare to see but the way you interacted with each other I knew it had to be the same for you," she smiles brightly as we nod looking at the headstones in front of us.

"Let me see if I get this right," the cranky lady says looking closer to us.

"Get what right?" I ask looking at her confused.

"Don't start Maggy,"

"I bet you're the alpha of the group young lady, the boss. The one that takes charge of most situations, one who is aggressive, and mothering, especially with regard to these three. You are the dominate in every relationship, you enjoy the feeling of making others go weak in the knees by a simple look. Whether it be to instill fear in an opponent or keeping the others in line reminding them why you are the one in charge. You enjoy the visible vulnerability they are willing to show in front of you not because you are sadistic but their reaction subconsciously ensures you that you are succeeding in your role. These three do not obey you out of fear but instead, they obey out of respect of your experiences, trust knowing that you will always have their back, loyalty because of all the times you have sacrificed yourself to ensure they are okay. They gladly give you all of this and more not out of fear, but because you have earned that position in their life. They do not feel the need or want to challenge you because it feels like the hierarchy is what it should be." All I could do was stare at this old lady, she described me perfectly but I am not sure if it was a compliment or a long way of saying I'm a controlling bitch. I look at Itachi, Sasuke, and Naruto all are listening to her intently.

"The young man behind the alpha you're beta of the pack. The calm, quiet, patient one that has to restrain the alpha at times to either protect them or protect the people around them. You are gladly submissive to the alpha feeling like that is exactly where you belong. You never question their leadership or instructions because you know they have a reason for everything they do and say. You trust them wholeheartedly and will always be loyal as they are the reason your life lights up, the reason you get out of bed in the morning no matter what happened the day before, lastly the one you live daily for. You would do anything, and I mean anything for them, you'd also do or go through whatever you had to, to stay by their side.

Then there are these two, equally as dominant with each other but submissive to the two of you, especially you young lady. The blonde one, the chi, also known as the joker of the group. The alpha's little brother, the one quick to act without thinking because his protector, is always there to get him out of messes. He will always strive to feel like he has done as much for the alpha as they have done for him. He respects the beta and would likely listen to instructions but his loyalty will always be to his alpha. He always puts his whole heart into everything he does not matter how big or small, is always striving to make the alpha proud of him.

Then the hardest one for me to figure out, the beta's little brother. I believe you are a selsa. You are the tactical one, quick to follow orders, the one that keeps the peace. You're the one who would work with the alpha and beta in any capacity to take on bigger threats. A fighter always out to protect the rest of their group. The one that gets irritated at the chi the most often, but has a soft side for him more so than for anyone else, the selsa is the first to jump into any situation that could cause harm or chaos to those he cares about. You are internally conflicted every time there is a disagreement in your group because you are not sure where your loyalty should reside. No matter the situation when push comes to shove your loyalty would stand firmly with the beta, due to the type of relationship you two have."

"Please excuse my sister, back in the day she earned a doctorate in psychology, her thesis, "unintentional group conformity similar to that of a wolf pack," Marcy says smiling at us.

"Um," I say speechless.

"That was awesome! You nailed every single one of us," Naruto cheers bringing us all back to reality.

"I must admit I was surprised that the four of you formed this group I would have never assumed it off of first sight," Maggy says staring at the four of us.

"What do you mean?" Marcy asks confused.

"You see little sister, you have the young lady in the dark clothes and blood red hair, no explanation needed. Then you have her brother in similar-looking attire as the other boy but with an important difference. The brothers seem to each have roughly $3000 if clothes and accessories on themselves." Marcy says still making me feel like she knew exactly who we were.

"Oh! I got it," Marcy says catching on

"We are ones to break stereotypes and surprise the crowds," I say smiling back at Itachi.

"Well thank you for humoring us, it has a wonderful chat, but it is getting dark. Be sure to take care of each other," Maggy says walking away.

"Oh shit! Are you guys still wet?" I asked feeling myself and then looking at them. It seems that most of us were dry leaving just drops.

"It is cold out here, we should go," I hear Itachi say. I throw his keys back at him before getting into the passenger seat.

"That was crazy!" Naruto exclaimed we all nod in agreement.

Itachi's POV

When I pulled into the school parking lot on Monday morning I was relieved to see Sky's car with her and Naruto leaning against it making small talk waiting for us.

We walk into the school together stopping by her locker then into calculus as the first bell rings. I feel her lay her head against my shoulder seeming to be ready to go back to sleep.

"Ms. Uzumaki! How nice of you to honor us with your presence," I hear the teacher say in a snarled tone.

"You're welcome Mrs. Dodd, figured you would miss me," Sky replies not missing a beat. When the teacher finished her lecture she told every to work on their homework. She has a stack of papers in her hand as she makes her way over to our table.

"Ms. Uzumaki you are currently failing this class, here are the assignments the rest of the class has completed, if I do not get these back tomorrow at the start of class, each 'C' work or better you will not pass this class or graduate.

I don't know how you got your absences excused so easily but I have a good assumption. Getting special treatment in this class will not happen, I gave you plenty of leeways last year when your parents died that will no longer be the case. A year is enough time to stop using it to excuse your actions, it is time to grow-up Ms. Uzumaki, stop using your boyfriend's influence to get what you want, and start taking responsibility for yourself,"

"You should not be speaking to a student like that," I snap at the teacher.

"You no longer have something to say? That's a first, instead, an Uchiha has to talk for you?" I hear her continue to antagonize Sky.

"You should walk away Mrs. Dodd." I hear Kankuro say with a glare on his face.

"This is my classroom I will do whatever I want in it." she snaps back, by this point I was pissed, wondering what gave her the idea that doing this in front of 27 students was smart.

"I would suggest you do what Kankuro said, as you pointed out I am an Uchiha and as you also know my father owns most this school. If you don't leave Skyler alone, I can promise you in one phone call you will be unemployed, homeless, and facing criminal charges," I say more confidently then I thought, never letting my namesake influence a person to do what I wanted them to do.

"Are you two done?" I hear Sky ask breaking the silence.

Normal POV

"Are you two done?" I ask, not saying anything before, enjoying the feeling to have someone willing to stand up for me.

"Hmmph," I hear Mrs. Dodd pout before walking back to her desk.

"Thank you, baby and Kuro," I say grabbing Itachi's hand under the table.

"Anything for you," I hear Itachi say before the bell rings.

"What are you doing after football practice today?" I ask Itachi, heading to my next class.

"My father should be home today, so Sasuke and I have to go there as soon as practice is over."

"Aw! That's dumb, will you still be able to drop Naru off at the house?" I ask wanting to make sure he wasn't stuck at the school until I got off.

"Yeah, that won't be a problem," I hear him say smiling down at me. We got through the rest of the day peacefully. My boys walk me to my car to say goodbye before I head to work.

"I don't wanna go," I whine as I am saying goodbye to Itachi.

"Then don't," I hear him say in all seriousness.

"Ugh, you," I said before I pulled him down to kiss me.

"I love you Sky," I hear him say, melting my heart every time I hear it.

"I love you too, Ita. See you guys tomorrow!" I say before getting into my car heading to work.

Itachi's POV

Practice got over quickly enough but Sasuke and I were worn out. The coach keeps telling us to only use 70% effort during practice but neither of us is able to do that. I dropped Naruto off before going home, I was surprised to not see my father's SUV in the driveway. Mere moments later it pulled up beside the hummer.

"Basement, now!" our father snaps at both of us. It dawned on me that this week alone we continued to hang with Sky and Naruto, we had skipped school, got written up, and received three days of detention. I looked at Sasuke who looks as scared as I was.

Sasuke and I rush down there ahead of our father, standing next to each other hands behind our backs, staring at the ground.

"10-minute jump rope," I hear my father say throwing one at each of us.

"Tuesday during an important meeting I get a call from your school saying that both my sons didn't show up for any of their classes. This takes me by surprise considering I did not give either of you permission to miss school!" he ends with a rough tone.

"Yes, fath..." I start to say it was true.

"Did I tell you, you could talk?" he snaps at me, making me flinch causing me to miss a jump.

"What a disappointment Itachi, both of you will be starting over," he says watching us closely.

"100 burpees!" he demands causing Sasuke and me to drop to the ground starting right away.

"Since you weren't at school where were you all day?" he says glaring at us.

"Speak! I asked you a question,"

"We went to find Naruto and Skyler," Sasuke replies quietly.

"What did I tell you about them?"

"To stay away from them," I answer.

"So you both disobeyed me as well?"

"Yes father," we reply quietly.

"10-minute wall sit, now!" he exclaims causing both of us to flinch but rush over to the wall. I could see Sasuke fading quickly, and I honestly was not too far behind him.

"I also got a call from Mrs. Blaine, who informs me you have both been written up, for using a phone during the class, disrupting the class and unauthorized exiting of the classroom. Sasuke legs bent at 90 degrees! I will be taking both of your phones and you will not see them again for the duration left of school this year," he informs us.

"30 pull-ups each! You two think you can do whatever you want, I will remind you that you are my sons, and I control everything in your life as your father and the head of the main house. By the end of this, you will remember your place in this family that you have seemed to forget. You do not leave this house unless I tell you to do so if I tell you to stay away from someone you had better do it! Do you both understand?" he snaps admitting to trying to break us with this workout

"Yes, father!" Sasuke and I say between gritted teeth.

"You had better keep your form Sasuke or both of you will start over," causing Sasuke to immediately fix his form.

"Father please, I can't," I hear Sasuke say exhausted.

"You can't! You are an Uchiha there should be nothing you can't do! 100 pushups, now!" he replies to Sasuke's pleads.

"Father, I'll do them," I state wanting to save my brother.

"Excuse me? Did I tell you to speak Itachi?" my father yells looking down at me.

"No father," I say afraid of what he will do next.

"Then stay quiet and let your brother deal with the consequences to his choices as you will as well," I stay quiet looking over to Sasuke with an apologetic look. He just shakes his head and begins doing pushups clenching his jaw. After about 20 Sasuke gets up quickly running to the garbage can where he throws up anything in his stomach.

"Father, please," I beg hoping he will tell Sasuke to leave, but I am almost to that point too.

"How pathetic, get out of my sight, you disappointment!" My father snaps at Sasuke who hurried out of the basement. I was determined to make it through this punishment, refusing to give into him, refusing to give him the satisfaction of breaking me.

"What's next father," I ask quietly wanting this to be over.

"Ah, yes, my favorite son. 100 situps, if you can make it through this I will let you go, assuming you understand what happens if you cross me again Itachi," he says crossing his arms over his chest.

"Yes, father," I said starting right away, I use every ounce of me left to finish them in couple minutes. The last 50 I wasn't sure if I could finish, my body was screaming in pain, making every breath take my next one away. I closed my eyes, picturing Sky, reminding myself of what she tasted like when I kissed her, the way she smiles, and the laugh that makes my world better.

"Impressive Itachi, you may go," my father says walking about the stairs. I wasn't sure if I would even be able to crawl up them. I wanted a hot shower and Sky, nothing less nothing more. Using whatever I could grab I got myself up to my feet, my legs jello, my arms shaking. My body was revolting from the last hour of abuse it had taken. I finally make it up to my room, realizing my phone is still in my bag seeing as my father forgot to confiscate it. I lay down on my bed deciding a shower wasn't a must-do right now considering how I felt.

Normal POV

Sky your phone! I hear my brother yell from the living room while I am cooking dinner. I walk out of the kitchen drying of my hands before taking it from him.

Itachi: Hello, my love, it is likely my father will be confiscating mine and Sasuke's phones. I just wanted to let you know so you don't worry.

Me: Why is he taking your guys' phones?

Itachi: While you and Naruto were gone we got into a little bit of trouble.

Me: What kind of trouble?

Itachi: We ended skipped school when the four of us went searching for you and Naruto. We got written up by Mrs. Blaine because we left our phones on in case you tried to reach out to one of us. When we did get your call we disrupted class and ran into the halls, exiting the class without authorization. That ended up with the four of us getting afterschool detention.

Me: Itachi Uchiha! Why? Why would you two go and do something like that? :o

Itachi: Sasuke and I love you and Naruto more then we are worried about getting into trouble.

Me: We love you guys too. Did your dad do anything else?

Itachi: You do not want to know my love.

Me: Ita, are you okay? :'(

Itachi: Yes my love, we will be fine, just sore but nothing a couple of days won't resolve. I also need to let you know Sasuke and I will not be in school next week. Our father and mother are taking us to Japan, to headquarters to "begin the grooming process."

Me: I'm not going to be able to talk to you in any way for a week! :o

Itachi: I will see what I can do to step away and call you from one of the companies' phones.

Me: Please don't get into any more trouble because of me.

Itachi: I only want to get into trouble because of you ( 3)

Me: Oh, Ita, I am going to miss you so much!

Itachi: I will miss you too my dear, but remember every moment of every day we are apart I will be thinking about you, longing for your touch, to hear your voice and the taste of your lips on mine.

Me: I love you Itachi!

Itachi: I love you too Sky! I got to go I hear my father coming up the stairs. I will try to reach out to you as soon as I can, goodbye, my world.

I started crying as I read his messages over and over again, ensuring I lock the ones I want to keep forever.

"What's wrong, Sky?" Naruto asks looking concerned.

"Sasuke won't be able to talk to you for a little while, while we were gone they did something stupid, and now their dad is taking away their phones, taking them to Japan next week for some business thing.

"Are they okay?"

"Itachi said they were but who knows," I say flopping on the couch next to him.

Itachi's POV

I hadn't talked to Sky in a week at it has been killing me inside. My father also decided to have Sasuke and I do high-intensity workouts and a four-mile run every day. Continually ensuring we remembered our place, my body hurt more than it ever had before, making the simplest tasks hard.

I hear a knock at my door, "come in," I say praying it was anyone but my father.

"Hey, I got something," Sasuke whispers coming into my room closing the door quietly behind him.

"What would that be, little brother?" I asked curiously.

"A phone," I hear his say as he takes a simple blackberry out of his pocket.

"Where did you get that?" I whisper.

"That doesn't matter, do you want to talk to Sky or not?" he asks handing the phone out to me. Without a second thought, I grabbed it, created a new message entering Sky's number as the recipient.

Me: Hello, my love,

Sky: Who is this?

Me: Should I be concerned someone else calls you, "my love?"

Sky: Itachi is it really you?

Me: Yes, Sky, Sasuke somehow got a phone. I miss you so much, Sasuke and I will be home tomorrow, I hope you are free to come over?

Sky: We'll pick you up from the airport. Make sure you both wear hoodies and sunglasses so no one recognizes you.

Me: Sounds amazing babe. Our flight number is UA 7946, we should land about 11 A.M. I love you and can't wait to see, kiss, hold, you. I will be counting down the moments

Sky: Me too my love!

Normal POV

"Sasuke should be texting you from this number momentarily," I told Naruto tossing my phone to him so he can see the number

"Realy?" he asks surprised but hopeful.

"Yeah, I just talked to Itachi, we are going to pick them up from the airport tomorrow. See if you can get Sasuke to tell you what happened the night last week when their dad found out they skipped school, got written up, and received detention. See if anything else has happened since they've been in Japan. Itachi won't tell me I assume because it was bad."

"I'll find out," Naruto said confidently.

"I'm going to finish dinner," I say walking away. It was about 15 minutes before Naruto walked into the kitchen.

"Apparently instead of making them spar, he is using exercise routines to break their spirits. Sasuke said the first night they had to do jump rope for 10 minutes, 100 burpees, 10-minute wall sit, 30 pull-ups, and 100 push-ups. Sasuke ended up breaking throwing up and his father sent him upstairs, he doesn't know what else Itachi when through afterward."

"That bastard," I comment while biting my tongue.

"He continued saying that ever day after their dad has assigned them different CrossFit workouts, and a specific path where they are to run four miles."

"CrossFit?" I asked hearing the name before but not knowing what it was.

"Crossfit is a high-intensity strength and conditioning training," Naruto states not really helping me figure out what it was other than painful.

"Yuck," I say plating our dinner.

"Sucks they are forced to do it, but I bet their bodies are even sexier then they were when they left," Naruto smirks, thinking about it while stuffing his face with food

"I was perfectly happy with Itachi's body," I say picturing him becoming a meathead.

We finished up dinner and headed to bed to be up and on our way to the airport by 10 just in case the land early. It seems like mere minutes before my alarm goes off telling me it was 9 A.M.

"Sky! Wake up! We get to see Sasuke and Itachi today!" I hear my brother yelling from his room.

"I'm awake," I call out going through my closet to find something to wear. I get on a black pair of jeans, with holes in the legs in which you see red plaid material, a red Godsmack t-shirt, and a black hoodie with the Uchiha family crest on the back of it which I stole from Itachi long ago, and my usual shoes. I put on some makeup, brushing my teeth and hair quickly before heading downstairs.

"Goodmorning Sky! Coffee is started," Naruto smiled finishing his breakfast, in his practice jersey and blue jeans.

"Okay, let's go, I don't want to be late," I say grabbing my keys, wallet, and phone.

The trip to the airport wasn't as horrible as I expected, getting there in one piece around 10:15 A.M. Naruto and I were walking around not noticing we lost track of time.

Itachi's POV

We are one of the first people off the plane, exiting the security gate I had yet to see Naruto or Sky. Sasuke and I went to the lobby with our jackets zipped up, hood covering our heads, sunglasses to hide our eyes, looking like creeps.

"Karmah saw the Uchiha crest! That must mean one of the Uchiha brothers are here in the airport!" we hear a blonde inform her friend, who squeal.

"Let's go find them! I wonder if Itachi would marry me? He is so hot right?"

"I'm all about Sasuke, you can have Itachi," the blonde says dragging her friend down the walkway

"Someone has the Uchiha crest on?" I ask looking over at Sasuke.

"That's weird, let's follow them," he suggests as I nod in agreement.

"There they are!" the blonde screams running towards a restaurant.

"Is that the Uchiha crest?" I ask squinting at a small figure about 100 yards away.

"Looks like it," Sasuke says squinting as much as I was. We walk closer as we saw our crest on the back of a hoodie, the person having their hood prevents us from identifying them.

"Oh my god, you are an Uchiha," the blonde's friend screams but the hooded figure doesn't move.

"I love you!" the blonde screams to the unmoving figure.

"Mary me Itachi!" the friend screams making me look at Sasuke unimpressed.

"Go away," I hear the figure say almost sounding like a girl.

"But Sasuke won't you take a selfie with us?"

"No," the voice snaps, I know that voice. I look at Sasuke wide-eyed it can't be.

"Please Sasuke!" the blond screeches

"That's not Sasuke that is for sure Itachi!" the friend argues.

"You are both fucking idiots," I hear the figure snap pulling down the hood to reveal the red hair I knew so well.

"Who are you?" they ask surprised.

"That doesn't matter, the fact you thought I was either of them proves my point about how stupid you to are. Declaring your love and asking for marriage from someone you don't even know is ridiculous. Here's some news for you, Itachi is 6 feet tall, Sasuke just two inches shorter, do I look 6 feet to you? I am fucking shorter than you two!"

"Why do you have the Uchiha crest on your jacket?" the friend asks.

"Well unlike you two, I know the Uchiha family well. Well enough to tell you, you two should just stop trying to stalk them, there is no chance in hell they would have anything to do with either of you," she snaps putting her hood back up. Sasuke and I just hang back curious where this was going to go.

"Are you like their agent or something? Can you get us autographs?" the blonde asks not giving up. I see Sky slowly turn towards the two girls, which causes Sasuke and me to get closer in case we have to break something up. I see Sky with her hands pressed together obviously trying to control the rage you could tell was building up in her.

"Sky what is going on?" We hear Naruto ask walking up to her.

"Oh my god! Do you two go to the same school as them?" the friend screeches. Naruto looks at Sky confused.

"These two confused me for Itachi and Sasuke," is all she says for Naruto to get a weird look on his face comparing his height to her own, even he wasn't sure how they made this mistake.

"Are you on the same football team as Itachi and Sasuke?" The blonde asks.

"Uh well ya," Naruto says catching the back of his head.

"Can you get us their autographs? We promise to make it worth your time," The friend says flirting with him. Sky busts out laughing, at what just happened in front of her.

"What's so funny?" The blonde asks.

"I'm gay, and have a boyfriend I love, so no thank you."

"Where the fuck are they! I want to go home! They should have bought another phone! This is dumb!" Sky yells frustrated. That was our queue to go save the Uzumaki siblings.

My heart started beating a million miles per hour it felt like. I didn't know what I was going to say, I was not prepared with anything, seeing her in front of me.

"Miss," I say tapping on Sky's shoulder as Naruto has wandered off somewhere.

"What do you want!" I hear her snap turning towards me. I pull my glasses down just far enough for her to see my eyes.

"You, I just want you," I say watching her trying to figure out how to get to me, instead of walking around she just jumps the walk-way divider.

"Ita!" I heard her cheer rushing over to me.

"Sky," I drop my bags catching her as she leaps into my arms. I twirl her around not caring how much my muscles ached.

"Skyler be careful! I told you what happened," Sasuke snaps.

"Oops, sorry, are you okay weasel?" I hear her say, trying to avoid using my name, I just nod my head yes. As she pushes herself closer to me kissing me.

"Skyler!" Sasuke snaps again shaking his head.

"She's okay little brother," I say not caring how much it hurt just having her close to me melted all of it away.

"Sorry," she says biting her lower lip.

"Don't be, baby I have wanted this from the moment I couldn't see you," I say kissing her again.

"You're Itachi Uchiha!" I hear someone scream from behind Sky. This causes a still disguised Sasuke to pull away from kissing Naruto.

"Oops, you lost your hood and glasses, my love," she says looking at me. At this point I didn't care, she was in my arms, so I just kissed her again letting people take as many pictures as they want. I feel her pulling the band out of my hair letting it fall as it wished.

"That means you must be Sasuke!" another person said.

"I think it is time to go," I hear Sky suggest walking away from the crowd, we all agree following her, not wanting my brother being outed as gay even though he was.

"Is that the hummer?" I ask looking at a vehicle a few aisles away.

"Yep, you really shouldn't use the same password for everything Itachi, it isn't safe," she said pulling the vehicles app on her phone unlocking and starting it up.

"Wow..." Sasuke says shaking his head.

"You should drive your beast," she says walking to the passenger door.

"Why did you bring the hummer?" I asked curiously.

"Do you want the truth?" she asks climbing in.

"Yeah, of course," I say not sure why she asked such a thing.

"Well if I ended up wrecking a vehicle trying to get to this place, I would rather it be this thing then my car," she says shrugging. All I can do is chuckle at her response, it was such a Sky thing to say. I had missed her so much, I held her hand as I drove us to my house. She seemed to be distracted but I wasn't sure what by, I figured I would ask her when we got to the house.

"I'm hungry!" Naruto whines as we pull into the driveway.

"Are you guys hungry?" I heard her ask as I reply with a nod.

Normal POV

"Here," Naruto says throwing me my phone.

"Sushi sound good?" I ask looking at the boys.

"Ramen," Naruto cheers and I just nod my head.

"Any preference?" I ask Itachi and Sasuke who shrug.

"Surprise us," I say not sure what specifics to give.

"Babe I need your credit card, food is expensive," I say looking at the $75 bill.

"Okay," I hear Itachi say before pulling out his wallet not asking anything more like "how much?"

"Sasuke, I need your credit card," Naruto repeats jokingly

"For what?" he raised an eyebrow at the blonde.

"Well that wasn't a no," Naruto said causing us to laugh.

"Kay, it should be here in 45 minutes," I say putting my phone down, to set up something to watch on the tablet.

"Sushi!" I call rushing downstairs, to where the Uber man is waiting, Itachi following as we are still holding hands. Naruto and Sasuke seconds behind us.

"Andy?" I ask looking at my normal Uber driver.

"Sky, hi!" he grinned. I noticed Itachi's grip get slightly tighter. I smile up at him and gently squeeze back letting him know not to worry. He relaxed slightly.

"Heya!" I said walking out the front door moving closer to him, Itachi in tow.

"What are you doing here?" he asks motioning towards the mansion.

"This is my boyfriend Itachi's and his family's house," I said nodding towards the man to my right.

"Wow..."

"You deliver out here too?" I ask handing bags to the boys.

"Not normally, I have alerts set for when you order stuff. I thought there was a mistake but I saw a card ending with different numbers than your usual," he says smiling at me.

"Haha, yeah, I am too broke for sushi, you should know that," I joke as he hands me the last bag. I don't notice the unhappy look Itachi has on his face glaring at the driver in front of me, who seemed to be ignoring it or unphased by it.

"Fair enough, I need one of you to sign," he says handing out a little clipboard.

"Sure!" I said grabbing it adding a $10 tip, signing it, and handing it back.

"Hope to see you again soon, Sky!" he grins getting into his car driving off. I just wave and turn around to see three extremely displeased faces.

"What?" I ask not getting the glares. The boys just walk back into the house heading to the kitchen.

"He's creepy," Naruto is the first to break the silence.

"He is nice," I say shaking my head.

"He was flirting with you," Sasuke says looking at me.

"He was not! You guys are ridiculous," I reply.

"If he isn't creepy why does he have his phone set up to alert him when you order something?" Naruto asks.

"I made it clear I was with Itachi," I said feeling like I had to defend myself. I look over to Itachi who has yet to say anything but I can see his fists clenched on the marble countertop.

"You guys are overreacting," I say starting to grab sushi rolls before sitting on one of the bar stools starting to eat.

The boys joined me in silence, I was getting more and more annoyed by the second, knowing they were still judging me for my lack of concern with regards to an innocent guy like Andy.

"Uh, I'm so full," Naruto whines breaking the silence that continues through dinner.

"Which one of you are going to take us home?" I ask looking over at Itachi and Sasuke.

"We'll both take you in the hummer," Itachi says, speaking for the first time since Andy had shown up.

"Okay," I say starting to clean up.

Itachi's POV

I had never wanted to hurt someone more than that Uber driver. How dare he flirt with my girlfriend right in front of me, even worse Sky couldn't see it, thinking we were overreacting. He has his phone set up to specifically deliver to her, even Naruto knew that was creepy and he's an idiot, I sigh helping clean up dinner.

"Naruto go get your backpack and the tablet, it's time to go home," I hear her say annoyed.

"Sky," I say looking at her back.

"If you wish to talk, we can do it at my house," she snaps causing me to flinch. I look at Sasuke who is getting annoyed with her attitude. I made eye contact with him and quickly shook my head no, saying to back off. He sighs and goes to find Naruto.

It wasn't long before we pulled into her driveway, the drive had been silent. I wanted to say something but was respecting her request. The four of us walked into her house following Naruto the kitchen. He starts opening cabinets I assumed to look for food.

"Sky, you need to take your meds," he says grabbing a pill case from the bottom shelf. If glares could kill Naruto would have been 6 feet in the ground.

"You can glare at me all you want, you still need to take them," Naruto continues. She snatches the case away from him opening a section. He grabs a bottle of water from the fridge tossing it to her. She snapped her head back taking the pills like a shot following it up with water.

Sky's POV

"They aren't going to judge you or treat you any different Sky," Naruto says reading my mind.

"He's right," I hear Sasuke say, I look over to him glaring not thrilled with his response.

"Sky, knock it off," Naruto snaps causing the three of us to look at him.

"Excuse you," I snap back.

"I know you're self-conscious about taking pills but you need to stop. Not a single person in this room cares if you take meds for depression, anxiety, BPD, PTSD, or anything else. What we care about is when you are acting the way you are and being a bitch." Naruto says not breaking eye contact with me.

"Naruto!" Sasuke and Itachi snap.

"Don't Naruto me, her and I go through this every three months or so because she stops taking he pills for whatever reason and becomes a raging, hot-headed, bitch," he says seriously.

"Shut up Naruto, I took the fucking things didn't I," I snap looking away knowing he was right embarrassed that Itachi and Sasuke both saw me in a weak state.

"Did you order your refills," I hear his ask.

"I will on payday," I reply.

"Sky! You know you were supposed to do it last paycheck, you are going to run out before next Friday," Naruto says nagging me.

"Then you get a fucking job and pay for them, it was either those damn pills or electricity and water. Take your fucking pick Naruto," I snap again slamming my hand down on the countertop causing all three boys to jump.

"Sky, why didn't you tell me?" Naruto said concerned.

"Why didn't you tell any of us?" I hear Itachi ask.

"You know we would have helped in a second," Sasuke said.

"I don't need your money or pity, as you said Sasuke, I'm 18-year-old doing whatever she can and has to, to provide her 17-year-old little brother. Sometimes that means not getting medication to keep the lights on, not eating lunch. After all, you spent the money on football fees, not sleeping for over 24 hours because you have to pull a double shift at the restaurant while going to school and keeping up with homework to pay rent so we have a place to live. That means falling asleep sitting up on the couch because your brother cries out for you in a nightmare because he has watched your mom die and you look like you could be her twin and all you can do to make it better is hold him," I say running my hand through my hair," I say looking at all three of the boys.

"Sky, I..." Sasuke starts.

"I am well away you didn't know Sasuke. None of you needed to know I do what I have to, to take care of my baby brother just like I promised my dad before I watched him choke to death on his blood," I say not breaking eye contact.

"Sky," Naruto whispers.

"Don't you all get it?" I ask seriously wondering.

"Get what?" Itachi asks quietly.

"You three are so worried about an Uber driver that flirts with me, while I worry about the fact I have about $3 in my account and I don't get paid until next Friday, so please forgive me if I don't find Andy to be a big concern, and get irritable when that is all you can focus on," I say sighing.

"Sky, I can get a job and help out," Naruto says seriously.

"Naruto, I love you to death and you know that but if you got a job your grades would fall, you already have a hard time as it is, and you need to go to college. You need to become everything you want to be, to follow your dreams and become more then I could have ever hoped for you to be," I finish by biting my tongue so I don't cry.

"Money is no issue for us Sky, Itachi, and I have plenty of it, we can help out with whatever you need," Sasuke says.

"He's right my love if I even had a small inclination of what was going on I would have helped months ago whether you wanted it or not," Itachi follows up.

"I can't let you guys help that way," I say still fighting back tears.

"Why? You do so much for everyone else, why can't you let us help you?" Sasuke snaps.

"Before you say you haven't done anything for us, may I remind you, you've hosted us for dinner many times, you have saved me multiple times from my depression and anxiety, you became a one-woman cheerleading squad, you have helped by just being you," Itachi says as if he could read my mind.

"You gave me my brother back," Sasuke added.

"Dinner is not the same as bills, Itachi," I say trying to keep my case going. He shakes his head and walks over to me.

"Why must you be so stubborn?" he asks tilting my chin to look at him, I just stare into his onyx eyes, reading all the emotions I could.

"I don't think you understand how much I love you, how much I need you, how much I want you, what I would do to make you happy. I would die for you Sky but I would also kill for you," he continues taking my breath away.

"Ita," I whisper.

"You are my best friend, the love of my life, the light my world revolves around. I am not a fighter nor do I want to be but the Uber driver flirting with you right in front of me pretending I didn't exist, made me want to become a violent person. I have seen so many times bags under your eyes you try to hide with makeup and a fake smile, the four or five red bulls you have in your locker at school so you can stay awake enough to understand what is going in class. The way Naruto's football gear is always clean but you'll wear the same pants two days in a row.

You know the night of the football game, it wouldn't have mattered what I said to my father, he was going to punish me either way. They only thing that kept me going until he was done was you, your smile, the way you taste when I kiss you, the fact I can wake you up at any time in the morning with coffee and breakfast and you aren't mad anymore, the fact you take my breath away every time I see you because of your beauty. "I believed it would have been easier on you to think he never regained consciousness, passing away without the pain and fear I saw on his face that day. "Sky..." I hear him say quietly before throwing himself into her chest, visually shaking as tears run down his face.

"I'm so sorry Naru, I never should have hidden that from you, I just didn't know how you would take the truth. You were already hurting so much, I decided to deal with the experience on my own as not to burden you."

"It's okay Sky I forgive you, I just wish I could have been there for you like you have always been for me. Looking back now I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough to help you through the loss, all year I had been so caught up in my own pain, I forgot that you lost them too. You are always taking care of me, no matter what impact it has on you. Why Sky, why did you deal with this on your own? Why didn't you slap some sense into me months ago? Why do you always keep taking care of me with nothing in return?"

"That's my job you big dummy," I heard her say with a small smile on her face. I exchanged looks with Sasuke, watching the two of them hugging each other close, tears slowly coming from both their eyes.

"What time is it?" I hear Sky asks looking back at me.

"A little after 4 in the morning," I say continually watching her.

"I'm hungry," I hear Naruto say causing all of us to chuckle.

Normal POV

"You're always hungry," I say feeling so much relief from telling him, Itachi and Sasuke what I had experienced the day our dad died.

"Well you can go get food, I am going back to sleep," I said laying back down cuddling up under my blanket.

"It's okay, we both have been through a lot but we have each other and our brothers and that is the most important thing," I say Itachi nodding in agreement before moving to hover over me kissing my lips then down my neck, between my breasts to right above my belly button.

"I love you more than anything Sky," I hear Itachi whisper, staring down at me.

"I love you too Ita, wanna go for round two?" I ask winking at him. He nods I push him onto his back straddling his hips, taking charge of the amazing man below me, enjoying round two until 6 A.M. before I fell back asleep in his arms

Days before graduation

Itachi's POV

"Hey baby, I need to talk to you," I say while we sat on the couch the house quiet for once.

"What's up?" she asks turning to me. I wasn't sure how to tell her this, my throat became tight every moment I tried.

"Do you know what you'll want to do after graduation?" I asked curiously.

"I'm honestly not sure, I mean I have ideas of what I'd like to do but they are a wait and see kind of things. Why Ita?"

"I got an early acceptance to Stanford," I say quietly.

"That's amazing my love!" I hear her cheer.

"Yeah, my father wants me to get my MBA there before taking over the company."

"That sounds like a great plan! You'll do awesome," she said holding my hand.

"Would you come with me," I ask looking into her eyes.

"Oh, Ita, you know I can't do that. Naru still has one more year of school left,"

"Then I can decline the offer and apply again when he graduates," I say.

"No, Itachi," she says seriously.

"Sky," I say worried about what would happen next.

"You need to accept the offer, that is a great opportunity for you, one you should not miss out on," she says smiling at me.

"What about us?" I ask looking at her.

"There is always the future Itachi, you won't be in school forever, Naruto will eventually be able to live on his own,"

"You'd want to end this?" I ask my heart hurting.

"It wouldn't be forever my love, you have to go, the world needs you to be in charge of the Uchiha name. Once you are there you will always be able to find me, I know you," I heard her say looking into my eyes.

"I can't lose you Sky," I say on the edge of crying.

"You'll never lose me Itachi, I will always be running around somewhere in your mind and heart," The first tear fell as I listened to her words.

"I need you by my side, I'll give up the schooling, the company, everything. Sasuke can have it, then I can stay here with you,"

"Itachi, that is exactly why you need to take the opportunity,"

"I don't understand," I say confused.

"With your passion, you would give everything you have up, without thinking about it twice. That is the kind of leader they company and your family need. You know how your dad is, if you give this up it means those you love have to deal with your father even longer. I love Sasu and you know that but he hasn't seen every detail that is needed to be in charge. The future of your last name will rest on your shoulders in just a little while and I know without a doubt you will make everyone proud, you will make me proud. I love you more than anything in this world Itachi and because of that I have to be the one to walk away, you cannot give up these opportunities, you cannot walk away from what you are meant to do,"

"Sky please, don't do this," I beg.

Normal POV

"It'll be okay Ita if it is meant to be we will find each other again I promise. Until that day you have to promise me that you won't give up opportunities like this to chase me. You will always be my fairytale Itachi and time will never change that," I say tears silently falling down my cheeks. I kiss him with all the emotion, feelings, and love I could muster up before walking out his front door.

I had broken up with Itachi just two days ago, every time I see him, the pain of the moment kills me inside. He was in almost all my classes, in at least three classes we're required to sit at the same tables that we sat at when school started and that didn't help the situation.

"Good afternoon class!" Mrs. Young says all cheerfully.

"This will be the last assignment for the seniors in the room. We have been working on poetry for the last few weeks, so you will be writing a poem for someone in the class. You are not allowed to say who it is for, you may not use their name or any identifying features. This will be due on Wednesday at the end of class, we will be reading them out loud Thursday and Friday. I will also be submitting them to the writing contest I got this idea from," she finishes causing many people to groan and whine, I sit there in silence doodling on my paper, thinking of ideas. Writing had always my way to let my feelings out, I didn't particularly think I was good at it but it was a coping mechanism.

The words just flew from me onto the paper, all the pain I felt was expressed in this assignment. I wasn't sure I would be able to read it out loud though.

Next up, Skyler Uzumaki with "What I want," she introduces stepping to the side of the room. I take a deep breath getting up, my gaze glued on Itachi's as his eyes are glued on me.

I finish not once breaking eye contact with Itachi.

"Very nice Ms. Uzumaki we have a real contender on hands this year, please meet with me after class," I hear Mrs. Young request I just roll my eyes going back to my seat in between Itachi and Sasuke.

"Sky," I hear Itachi whisper.

"Please don't" I whisper, putting my headphones in. Finally, the bell rings causing me to try and rush out of the class. I needed to be away from Itachi before my emotions started to show through.

"Ms. Uzumaki," I hear my name being called making me stop walking back into the class when everyone else is out.

Itachi's POV

Sky's poem shattered any piece of my heart that was left standing.

"Ms. Uzumaki," I hear Mrs. Young call out for her. I stand outside the room trying to listen to what was being said.

"That poem was exceptional, I could feel your emotions, I knew exactly what you were talking about without the need for identifiers. I must ask though, was this for Itachi Uchiha?" I hear the teacher ask.

"That is a very complicated question Mrs. Young," Sky says quietly.

"Fair enough, I strongly believe you are a strong contender for this competition,"

"Thank you, Mrs. Young is that all?" I hear her ask before walking towards the door. I walk away trying to get lost in the sea of people going to their next class.

Next Day

Normal POV

I walked into English part of me dreading what Itachi's poem would say, the other knowing I wanted to hear nothing more.

"Happy Friday class! We'll be finishing up the poem assignment readings today, this is also the last day of high school for the seniors how exciting!" Mrs. Young cheers earning some hoots and hollers from the class.

"First up, Itachi Uchiha with "Losing You," she introduced before sitting stepping off to the side. His eyes locked on mine and I couldn't look away no matter how much I wanted to.

"Very nice Mr. Uchiha! Please meet with me after class. You too Ms. Uzumaki, I want to discuss the contest with both of you" I hear Mrs. Young say. His poem was killing me, I was biting my tongue not to show other the emotions I was feeling. Every fiber of my being wanted to run to him to pull him close telling him that we could make it not matter what. The class finished up their poems not that I was paying much attention.

I was staring at my hands resting on the table spacing out until I feel a note pad bump the side of my hand.

"I love you Sky," I read it three or four times not sure what to say back.

"And I, you, but that doesn't change anything," I reply pushing it back.

"That changes everything!" I saw his reply in his perfect penmanship.

"Itachi, I can't do this with you again," I write my heart hurting.

"Please Sky!" I looked at him seeing his pleading eyes.

"Itachi, you have to go to Stanford, you have to get your MBA, you have to become the head of the Uchiha family, and you have to become the head of your families company," I say repeating myself from a few days ago.

"I don't have to do any of that and would give it all up to stay here with you," he replied quickly

"That's the problem, that is why we cannot be together, that is why after graduation I will never see you again," I argue back.

"Sky..."

"I'm sorry Itachi but my mind is not going to be changed, what your father has planned for you is what you need to do, you cannot be stranded here in this little town when you have the words to change a nation,"

"What if I offer a compromise? Would you consider it?" he writes.

"Maybe," I reply trying to think of the words to make him forget about me.

"We won't be together, I will go to Standford and get my MBA but we must come to our five-year high school reunion, then we will have a real conversation about our relationship,"

"I agree to your terms," I say pushing the paper towards him as the bell rang. The rest of the day thankfully passed quickly. I cleaned out my locker stuffing my bag with it all before walking out to my car. I see Itachi, Sasuke, and Naruto waiting for me.

"About time!" Naruto snaps.

"Shut up," I say rolling my eyes at him.

"Five years, I will wait to chase you until that time is up as we agreed. I love you Sky, I always have and I always will," Itachi says as my throat tightens up.

"Five years, I love you too Itachi, you have made my world a much better place and for that, I thank you," I tiptoe to kiss his cheek before climbing into my car pulling out of the parking lot letting my tears fall.

Graduation came and went in a blink of an eye, I had officially become an adult and I had no clue what to do now that I was.

5 years

Itachi's POV

Today was the day, five years had flown by quicker then I would have ever expected. I wonder if Sky will be there tonight with Kankuro since they got married two years back, the thought still tore at my heart.

"Tachi-kins!" I hear from the other room, causing me to sigh.

"Yes dear," I say looking at Emily, my fiance.

"Are you ready for your reunion? I am so excited to hear what you were like a teenager!" she cheers.

"Hn," I say fixing my tie and hair.

The limo pulled up to the house at 7 P.M. as scheduled. I escorted Emily to the vehicle before climbing in myself. My stomach was doing flips, not knowing what to expect.

Normal POV

I put on my simple silver dress, adding some simple jewelry, before checking that my now shoulder-length red hair was behaving.

"I wish you were here Kuro," I whisper looking at my husband's picture one last time before leaving the house. There were a bunch of vehicles in the parking lot causing me to sigh, take a deep breath, and exit my car. I walked into the gym memories flooding back like nightmares.

"Oh, yes it is so nice to meet you! I wish I had known Itachi at that age, I bet he was adorable!" Was the first thing I hear out of a tall model looking blonde.

"I need a drink," I sigh walking towards the bar.

"I love your hair who does it? I'm Emily!" I hear that voice from behind me.

"It's natural and hello Emily,"

"Did you know my fiance in school?"

"Who would that be?" I asked playing dumb.

"Oh yes right, Itachi Uchiha," she says smiling.

"I knew him, yes," I say not enjoying the position I was in at the moment.

"There he is. Tachi-kins over here!" I hear her call over the top of a group of people. Making me bite my lip trying not to laugh.

"Yes, dear?" I hear a familiar yet deeper voice of Itachi ask making his way through the crowd.

"I was just introducing myself to your friend, sorry I didn't get your name," she said motioning towards me. The look on Itachi's face was priceless when his eyes met my emerald ones.

"Sky," I hear Itachi whisper causing me to smirk.

"Oh Sasuke's husband's relative?" She asked curiously.

"Yeah, Naruto is my brother," I said still staring at Itachi. Looking into his all too familiar eyes started bringing back the same pain I felt the last time I saw him five years ago.

"Oh that's awesome, we'll be related by law when Itachi and I finally tie the knot," she says still smiling, I was starting to wonder if she was a robot.

"Indeed we will if you'd excuse me," I say making my way to the door.

I walked over to my car to see it was blocked in not allowing me to leave. Within moments I heard footsteps behind me.

"Sky," I hear Itachi say quietly.

"I can't do this with you Itachi," I said leaving my shoes by my car before walking onto the field we ate so many lunches together on. I walked over to the tree seeing the place the six of us had carved our initials. I run my fingers over KS guilt flooding inside me.

"Itachi Uchiha! How dare you just leave me like that," I hear the same annoying voice from earlier.

"Go back inside Emily," I hear Itachi snap surprising me.

"No, you do not talk to me that way," she snaps back.

"Emily, I will not ask again," he said warningly, sounding nothing like the Itachi I knew a few years ago.

"Who is this woman to you Itachi?" she asks finally speaking useful words.

"That is none of your concern," he said sounding more and more annoyed something I hadn't ever heard from him before.

"Itachi, answer the question. I want to hear this as well." I demand, staring him down. I could tell that he had become the alpha of his world, but I knew between us it would either be him or me and I wasn't anyone's beta.

"Don't make me repeat it," I growl out not in the mood for any of this.

"You can't talk to my finance like that! Do you know who he is?" I hear Emily chastise me walking closer.

"I am perfectly aware of who Itachi Uchiha is little girl, do you know who he really is?" I ask staring at her.

"Of course! He is the head of the Uchiha family and the CEO of their companies," she said thinking she sounded so smart.

Itachi's POV

"That is all you know about him?" Sky asks laughing.

"I don't need to know more," Emily said huffing.

"Oh sweetheart, that's cute," Sky replies staring at me. She made me feel submissive under her gaze, something I hadn't felt in years, realizing how much I missed not being in charge of everything around me.

"Shut up, you know nothing about him," Emily says walking closer.

"Oh but I do my dear, I know everything about Itachi here, at least I used to," I hear Sky say walking closer to us.

"Itachi say something!" Emily screeches causing me to look at her.

"Yes please Itachi, say something," Sky says her arms crossed over her chest.

"Where's Kankuro?" That caught me by surprised choosing that question.

"Kuro died a year and a half ago in an IED explosion overseas," She replies unwaveringly.

"Itachi really!" Emily said not appreciating where his attention obviously was.

Normal POV

"She's annoying Itachi, why'd you pick this one?" I ask motioning towards the blond.

"Excuse you!" I hear her snap at me, causing my gaze to drift to her. I almost laugh as I watched her shrink beneath it. Becoming a trauma nurse who consistently rode with the EMTs and becoming a widow at 22 had made me a little more domineering then I was in high school.

"Do you love her Itachi?" I ask returning my gaze to him but he stays silent.

"Itachi!" Emily snapped.

"Ah silence," I said turning my back to them heading back over to the tree.

"She is a part of a business agreement. The board said I had to be married by the time I was 25, her father offered 51% ownership of their families company to me in return for marrying her," Itachi finally replies.

"I see, interesting," I say looking at the scenery I hadn't seen in years.

"I heard you were married to Kankuro, I knew you hadn't waited for me, so I decided to accept the best business proposition in exchange for my hand in marriage," Itachi follows up with.

"Fair enough, just so you're aware, I did indeed marry Kankuro but it was in hopes that I would fall in love with him and love him the same way I loved you. Turns out that was just not possible, Kankuro joined the Marines after high school coming back home between deployments. He said we should get married so he would at least know I would be taken care of, just like some anonymous donor that seemed to follow my financial presence continually.

Paying off the mortgage on my house, the car loan I had taken out, as well as my utility bills that never seemed to be due. Kankuro promised that his third tour would be his last, saying he wanted to make us work even though he knew I didn't love him the way he loved me. I agreed in hopes that it would be possible, that his love could take away even an ounce of pain I felt seeing you all over the media every day. Two days after that video call, I had two Marines in their dress blues walk up to my front door to inform me that my best friend since the age of two was coming home but in a casket covered by a flag."

"Sky, I'm sorry," I heard Itachi say from behind me as I heard footsteps getting closer.

"None of that is on you Itachi, but back to your fiance. Were you aware you were a part of a business agreement?" I asked turning back around to face them.

"Well yeah, but that doesn't matter to me. I mean have you seen Itachi? He is smart, strong, handsome, rich, and doesn't care what I do. I mean you could only imagine what he is like in bed, taking charge every time," she says smirking.

"Interesting, tell me more about Itachi here," I say curious what she'd have to say.

"Sky," Itachi says quietly.

"Shut up Itachi, I want to hear what she has to say, I mean she knows you so well I want to see if you have changed as much as she has said," I say looking at him.

"You can't tell him to shut up!" Emily said stomping closer so we now made a triangle.

"Shut up Emily," Itachi snaps at her.

"But Tachi, you can't let her talk to you that way," she whines causing me to chuckle.

"Do you know how the hierarchy of a wolf pack works, Emily?" I ask looking at her

"Well there is the alpha and then the other sorority names below that," she said causing me to give Itachi a "are you fucking serious" look.

"You see my dear, our group consisted of 1 alpha and 1 beta. You said Itachi takes charge in your relationship correct?"

"Well, of course, he is the head of the family." She says confused.

"As fun as this has been, let me get to my point, you see Emily, I was Itachi's first girlfriend. I was his first kiss, the one he lost his virginity to, the one that knows all about the graveyard hiding in the Uchiha family closet. You don't seem to know him well at all, he obviously doesn't respect you, so why would you want to be with someone like that. Do you have no pride?" I ask tightening up the triangle.

"We have a complex relationship, you haven't spoken to Itachi in five years he has changed since then," she says sounding so certain.

"Oh has it? Shall we put that to a test?" I ask looking back at Itachi then his fiance walking up to Itachi.

"What are you doing?" she asks getting closer to.

"You see Emily, Itachi was my beta. He was the yin to my yang the calm to my storm, I would have done anything for him and he would have done the same for me. You say he is now the one in charge when he used to be more submissive then you'd believe sexually and in life, to the right person," I say not taking my eyes off him.

"That's a lie!" Emily screeches.

"She is annoying Itachi," I say still looking up at him.

"I am not!"

"Let me teach you a few things about your fiance my dear and who the real Itachi is," I stare into his eyes already seeing the vulnerability seeing if he would turn away first or if he actually became an alpha even refusing to be dominated by me.

"What are you doing?" She asks as I start the stare down.

"Itachi here would have never have dared to speak to me the way he has spoken to you tonight, right?" I ask staring straight at him.

"No," I hear him answer quietly.

"I don't get the point you are trying to make," Emily says annoyed.

"Let me spell it out for you then. You have no fucking clue who Itachi Uchiha is, he does not love you, has no respect for you, and because of such treats you how he does. The real Itachi would have never told a woman to shut up, never told her to go back inside or, give her a warning or say something was none of her concern. He would have your eyes shining so bright with happiness even a couple married for years would be jealous. Watching Itachi as I have since we've begun talking has assured me that he is still the same man from high school and it is you who have altered his personality," I said confidently.

"What are you doing?" Emily asks as I smirk.

"I am seeing who Itachi is these days," I said still staring at him knowing he had been in the alpha position so long the feeling was overwhelming becoming the submissive again. He finally turns his head away from me looking at the ground.

"An alpha does not break eye contact when face to face with another alpha they do not find more dominant than themselves. That right there proves Itachi still has the exact same feelings for me he had in high school,"

"You turned him into a slave or something?" Emily asked obviously watching too much television.

"Of course not! God, you are dumb. Every person is dominant and submissive, as Itachi is dominant to you, his family, and the company, I dominant to him, meaning at this moment I have more power over the man in front of me then you will ever have in your life. Itachi is submissive to me because he respects me, he feels comfortable around me and trusts me with everything he is."

"That doesn't matter," she squeaks still seeming to be confused.

"Let's see if this matters, do you still love me Itachi?" I asked staring into his eyes.

"Every moment of every day," he replied much to Emily's surprise.

"What is it that you want Itachi?"

"You, only you, I've only ever wanted you for the whole time I have known you," he says as if he was hypnotized.

"You see my dear Emily this is the real Itachi. When he loves you, everyone else in the world disappears, he does not raise his voice or disrespect women, his only goal is to make the ones he loves happy."

"Well too bad he can't back out of this agreement, he will be marrying me ever so soon," Emily says pissed of.

"You think I cannot get out of the contract with your father? Then you have no idea what I am capable of, I can promise you, I do not need your company but your company needs mine if it wants to stay running," Itachi says putting a hand on my hip.

"My dear Emily I hate to break it to you but Itachi has always been mine, since the day he met me, just like my feelings towards him, he is unable to love anyone else the way he loves me," I say grabbing his tie twisting it once around my hand.

"Itachi is a true beta if you are the right woman. You, my dear, are not the right woman," I say gently pulling him closer to me, as we continue getting lost in each other's eyes.

"You can't do this, showing that side of him is just humiliating," Emily yells stomping her foot, I can't help but chuckle.

"Itachi, my love," I say staring up at the beautiful man in front of me.

"Yeah?"

"Are you embarrassed with regards to how you feel about me?" I ask curiously about his response.

"Of course not! I would tell the whole world if it wouldn't cause you to freak out like you did when Ino posted the picture from the frozen aisle," he says with no hesitation.

You should kiss me," I say smiling up at him. I didn't have to ask twice, his lips were on mine in a moment, reminding me how much I missed the taste of his lips, and the feeling of his body pressed up against mine.

"You can't do this!" I heard her screaming and crying behind us.

"Damn Ita, if I knew you were dealing with this for the past four months I would have come back before the five-year mark,"

"If only I knew that," he chuckles looking down at me.

"Oh and another thing that I don't think matters now but Itachi hates, and I mean hates being called Tachi," I say leading Itachi back towards the school his hand in mine.

"God I have missed you," I hear him say as we are slowly swaying to the music in the gym.

"My love, if I said I still loved you and would drop everything in life to be with your right now, marry you right now, to be by your side until the end of forever, would you accept?"

"Without a second thought, why?"

"I love you Itachi Uchiha, I have loved you since the first day I met you. I will love you forever and always until my last breath. You are the most amazing man I have ever met and you made my world the most beautiful thing in this world. I'm sorry I walked away five years ago, I should have had us try a long-distance relationship, visiting you as often as I could. I should have told you what you meant to me and never let you go. I know we have lost five years we could have been together but Itachi Uchiha, will you marry me?" I finish waiting for an answer.

"I'm supposed to propose to you," he says shaking his head at me, taking off his watch.

"What are you doing Ita?" I ask looking at him weirdly wondering if I was just rejected.

"I bought this for you the day before we broke up, I had my jeweler add a place in my watch for it so I would always have it with me in case I got the opportunity to do this."

"It's a puppy, isn't it? Oh my god, it's a puppy!" I joke missing the smile on his face before he got down on one knee.

"Skyler Marie Uzumaki, will you marry me?" he asks holding up a simple thin band with little stones covering half of it.

"Yes, yes, yes!" I say jumping up and down.
