Sin had never felt so content in his entire life. After everything that happened the last four days he felt safe to say that he was a very capable teacher and rising over every obstacle a sensei must overcome. Strangely, he felt at peace with himself even as the afternoon went on with Naruto and Hinata perfecting their teamwork by using him as their sparring partner. Sure he carried the curse of eternal life and power beyond imagination, but something told him that he may finally finding a pair of students that can carry his legacy should something take his life.
He smiled at such a thought, the thought of dying without regret, yet with everything he knew being passed down to his pupils. Of course, it was a simple fantasy and became less of a dream over the years as he wandered through his life with so little until he met Naruto and Hinata and decided it was time to pass down everything he knew to them. He didn't care how long it would take or for the sake of his own well-being; life or death, he just wanted to have someone he could teach everything he learned.
He wanted a legacy, a history that dated back to him starting with a student. Now he felt he could start that with having such promising children attacking him from every corner while the rest of the group watched.
Waking up from his fantasy, Sin spun with ease to counter Naruto's kick and grab Hinata's hand before she could strike him in the back of his head. He chuckled as he tossed his frustrated students across the training circle he designed with the help of a little magic, a feeling of pride in his eyes whilst taking a more defensive stance to show them he was taking their spar very serious. Sure they still had years to go before laying a hit or even a scratch on him, but that didn't mean Sin was going to disrespect his students. He took them far in training and he was going to respect their attempts by showing a little bit of his own power and experience.
"Attack me from the front while Hinata tries to strike my head." He commented happily, smirking at his students as they recovered. "That was an excellent idea, but you've got a long way to go before you can knock me out."
Finally the two genin stood up and nodded at eachother before charging the man again with another idea in tow. After days of practicing their plan, Hinata instigated the technique of it with a leap off Naruto's shoulders whilst building chakra into her throat before Naruto could set in motion his part in getting a hit on their sensei.
"Fire Style: Dragon's Spit!" She yelled and produced multiple fireballs with short exhales of her breath that locked onto Sin's exact location. If she wasn't so focused on hitting her sensei she would have seen Kurenai and her fellow jounin smile brightly at her, not to mention see a seething uchiha ask his own sensei why he was unable to copy her and that he should have such a jutsu.
Sadly for brooding genin, not even the copycat ninja could explain why the sharingan wasn't copying Hinata's jutsu until Kurenai pointed out with her own expertise that the kekkai genkei could only copy hand-signs, not chakra manipulation.
Sasuke seethed with fury as Sakura tried to calm him. Damn that stupid hyuga and her teacher. I'll make sure to let the council know and force him to be my sensei.
After hours of practicing, Hinata was happy to see that she got her targeting and chakra control near perfection and watched as Sin eyed the barrage of super-sized fireballs soaring at him. Naruto then took hold of the situation with a grin by reaching into his shuriken pouch and throw a hoard of them into the first fireballs that exploded while his teacher weaved a dome of air to protect himself.
Sin was beyond impressed with their timing and execution, but it still wasn't enough to knock him off his senses as the shuriken appeared out of the smoke and cut through his thin layered air dome like a hot knife slicing butter. He dropped the dome and unsheathed Setsuna-Maru at lightning speed and deflected the shuriken that were flying in his direction. He was slightly worried though, the technique dispelled into a field of smoke and he was right in the middle of it with no visibility which left him to resorting on sensing their chakra. He didn't sense two though, he sensed twenty chakra lines and they were above him with the air suddenly becoming hot as he looked up.
Smiling at his blond genin, he watched the situation unfold with twenty shadow clones building chakra into their throats while the real Naruto was in the middle of the clone circle.
"Fire Style: Shadow Dragon's Wrath!"
Naruto and his clones exhaled streams of blue fire and the sparring appeared to be at it's end with his sensei standing there with the inability to escape or block such an impressive jutsu, but he was in fore a big surprise as the unfazed immortal spun his sword around and pierced the ground with a quick rotation to follow.
Knowing he would be questioned later, Sin spoke the term of his own technique.
"Earth Tome: Breaker!"
Naruto thought he had his sensei when in the instant of certain victory he watched three triangles of rock shot up and closed around Sin at the last second. The fire quickly divided and dispelled with the boy's shadow clones until there was nothing but smoke and his sensei walking out of the rocky barrier that sank to the ground.
"I'm more than impressed." Sin praised, wiping his face with his shirt. "You two actually made me sweat a little."
The duo quickly divided and went to opposite ends to at least try and get their teacher while he was distracted, but they stopped at the raise of his hand and waited for him to attack.
"That's enough for now. Let's take a break and have some lunch."
Naruto groaned while Hinata chuckled and pat his back, knowing good and well they still hadn't put even a scratch on Sin. He took Hinata's hand into his and walked out of the training circle, or what was left of it with the other jounin gawking at the sheer destruction of their teamwork.
Sin was soon to make his way around the three kunoichi with only Kurenai capable of maintaining decency while Tsume and Anko fawned over a little too expressively. The genjutsu mistress was kind and gentle with the cloth she pulled from her pouch and took it upon herself in cleaning the sweat and dirt off Sin's face before he could use his magic. She respected that he was a grown with unknown power that could easily remove the obvious signs of battle, but she was more than determined to be his favorite; and what better way to do so than by being a caring girlfriend.
"There," she breathed, finishing her work with a wipe of his cheek. "Now we can actually see your face."
Sin blushed as he sheathed his blade, albeit with great difficulty when Tsume and Anko were eyeing his dirtied torso and arms.
"Um. . . thanks."
"That was rather impressive you two." Kakashi praised with an eye smile. "I expected minimal teamwork, but you far exceeded my expectations."
Naruto nodded with no emotion and followed his sensei with Hinata catching up after talking with Kurenai. He didn't really understand Kakashi or what his attempt was after giving him such disdain on the week he was part of team seven. What was he trying to do by talking peacefully to him?
After some time walking in silence they came into the clearing of Tsunami at the door waving for them to come in and eat lunch. Hinata was quick to enter with Kurenai after getting pushed rudely by Sakura, but the time of quiet was quickly ended with harsh words coming from the expected prince of brooding.
"Teach me." Sasuke demanded after grabbing Sin's wrist to stop him. "Now."
Those who remained outside watched the scene unfold with Sin tugging his hand away from the genin and turn sharply to face him. Both the immortal and Uchiha shared a dangerous glare and stood there in silence with anticipation of the other trying something foolish. Anko and Tsume were quick to approach and give the boy a rude awakening about respecting your superiors, but the raised hand from Sin signalling them to stay out of it made their steps turn cold.
"Why would I teach someone like you?"
"I need more power." Sasuke seethed for not getting what he wanted, fists clenched and sharingan blazing. "I need more to kill a certain someone for destroying my clan."
Sin raised an eyebrow at him and hummed in disappointment. He knew all too-well the feeling and consequences of revenge when it was he who symbolized such a nasty desire in his younger years. He remembered in those boy's eyes the monsters he killed and the tyrants he sealed away in his blade, and it sickened him how his actions came to light with everyone who loved him became sour with deep hatred for the actions he committed, even if was for the benefit of those he once called friends.
Sighing deeply, Sin leveled his mind and body.
"You don't want to go down that path." He advised calmly, angering the uchiha more. "You'll only be hurting yourself in the end, and there will be no one to comfort you when you reach the endgame."
"You know nothing about me!" Sasuke roared, jumping back into an offensive stance. "You will teach me and you will do it now!"
"Sasuke-" was all Kakashi could say before his student was pressed against a tree with ropes of magic binding him to it and a now infuriated Sin walking towards him with his aura burning.
Step by step, breath by breath, the emotional torment of one's rigid past came down full weight on Sin and he expressed through tears and the ground crumbling beneath his feet while everyone, including those in the shack, watched with concern not for the boy but for the man who they assumed to have some coldness in his heart. They were wrong though, and his genin and the three women fawning over him watched not with desire for him, but worry that he may have a piece of him that is very broken.
"You think you can make demands from me!" Sin snarled, stopping inches from the boy's face. "You think just because of who you are that you have the right to order anyone around you!"
"I'm the last Uchiha!" Sasuke barked, struggling in his binds. "I deserve all the power I can find, and I know with you as my teacher I'll be unstoppable. So release me and show me how to use jutsu without hand-signs. That is an order as an Uchiha!"
An echo, a sharp echo of stinging proportions roamed the open air with all ears to catch it as the brooding genin was forced to look away in shock and pain. He had been struck by a man who didn't care, he had been touched harshly with a stinging cheek and a hand raised above his head while Sin controlled himself before he did something that would ruin his person around everyone.
"Uchiha. . ." Sin exhaled after getting his thoughts and emotions under control. "Well let me tell you something about me, little boy."
It was at that moment a series of pity and concern coursed through everyone watching the immortal, pity and concern that the three ice queens wonder if Sin was so receded as a person for what he just showed to them in a flash of motion.
Naruto and Hinata quickly observed the features, understanding with the jounin the reason behind such horrible on his body. They'd seen them before but never asked where he obtained such scars. Boy, were they in for a serious enlightenment about their teacher.
Sasuke gasped, just before having the man's firm hand clasp him by his cheeks, forcing him to stare into the eyes of what he felt to be a demon in disguise.
"I'm Sin Firestorm, also known by my previous friends and family as the silent blade. I was a respected leader who lost everything due to taking vengeance into my own hands when my own DAUGHTER was stolen from me, treated like a breeding stock and thrown away like trash when she was no longer usable."
After those words he released Sasuke, but he wasn't done. He was going to make his point across even if it meant lying about magic with the term of chakra and jutsu. He didn't want to be feared though. He wanted to be known and remembered by everyone, including his own genin, just how much of force he could be whenever provoked.
He turned to his genin and girlfriend, knowing either his statement would either make them fear or hate him, or possibly see him in a different light.
"I tore kingdoms down with my jutsu and slaughtered kings and queens that crossed me. I fought in three wars, leading armies that ranged from officers to airships and lost thousands of soldiers to the cold embrace of war."
He turned to Tsume and Anko.
"I earned these scars from being an experimentation to battling monsters that could destroy entire countries with ease. Every scar here is either from being cut apart and put back together to nearly dying at the grasp of tyrants. I have killed so many enemies that I might as well have committed genocide on entire nations.
Finally he turned back to the fearing Sasuke and loomed over him.
"And had a passionate love for a woman that a piss-ant like you could never understand. So don't talk to me like I'm trash because I FAR OUTRANK YOU AND I DO NOT GIVE A SHIT WHO YOU ARE. I'LL KILL YOU IF YOU GET OUT OF LINE, SO KNOW YOU'RE FUCKING PLACE BOY!"
After those words was a ringing silence that told the immortal he made an impact with everyone, but he wasn't entirely sure if it was the right motive. He hated himself a little for letting his emotions get the best of him in the end and decided that enough was said. He felt that Sasuke got a good idea as to who he was messing with and decided to release him.
"You want training!" Sin snapped, dissolving the ropes of magic around Sasuke and forcing him to his feet by grabbing the back of his hair. "Well here you go. Let's start with your stamina. Start running circles and don't stop until you puke or pass out!"
Sasuke seethed with fury until he the man's foot strike him on his backside.
"GET MOVING!"
Sasuke was left with no choice after turning to his sensei to see that he wasn't going to intervene and decided to do what he was ordered, albeit begrudgingly and with a newfound hatred for everyone around him for stopping Sin from humiliating him. Pride shattered, Sasuke bolted around the shack at full speed and didn't stop in fear of what Sin would do should he disobey.
"Sin?" Kurenai approached to put a hand on his shoulder, but she was left with the quietness of her boyfriend walking back into the woods.
"I need to calm down."
With that said, he disappeared into the woods with little care that his genin and the jounin besides Kakahshi decided to take to the trees and follow him rather than eat with others. Surprisingly, the copycat ninja took over for Sin and sure to use small fireballs to keep the boy running whenever he tried to stop.
One Hour Later
Sin meditated calmly over a large stream with his form hovering above the water as he pondered how easily provoked he was by a child and cursed himself for letting his past affect him. It irked him, that painful feeling of failing himself as a leader that is to live perfectly composed, and now he had his buttons easily pushed by a brooding teenager that thought the world owed him everything. He was annoyed and angry not at the boy but at himself for stooping so low as giving a hateful speech about his life to his comrades and students.
Although he had recovered a little by levitating the elements of his magic and focused on improving his control, if that was possible, he still felt inadequate as a leader now and wondered if he was right for being a teacher now.
Once done with produced geysers to imitate his exploding anger, Sin changed position in his meditation and focused on turning his magic into a lightning-based orb of energy before collapsing it to pea-sized in his hands. This was a test for himself, a test to see if he could still produced such dangerous magic and control it without letting his emotions control him. He had to be precise and completely focused, so he had no other choice but to clear his mind and relax his body. However, the thought of terrorizing his students and the jounin with that statement about of his life affected him with worry and fear. For the first time, he was scared of losing them, scared that Naruto and Hinata would want a new sensei and the women crushing over him would lose their infatuation for him and grow with fear or hate.
His emotions were building, and as they did there was lack of control of the lightning orb. It vibrated and shook between his hands as he tried to get it back under control, but the image of Naruto turning away from him worsened. He loved the boy like he was his own son and the weeks of training him grew a bond between them, a bond that Sin appreciated deeply when he never felt so close to anyone he trained. And there was Hinata as well; that shy and adorable child who was intimidated by him but felt like his own daughter. She reminded him of the first child he lost to tyranny. She reminded him of her, his greatest treasure and biggest accomplishment.
He didn't want to lose either of them. He cared for them. He loved them so much he would level an entire country to protect them.
"Breathe." He told himself, but his body refused.
Sin was starting to have a panic attack at the reminder of being left alone again. He was acquainted with living a lonely life but could not stand to have someone walk out of his life.
Inside he was a time-bomb, just like the orb shaking in his hands, and he was left with no choice but to throw the orb away and let it erupt into an explosion of electricity that arced across the trees and the ground before dissolving into an area of scorch and smoke.
"Dammit!"
He lost control and felt into the stream, the cold sting of water helping him realize he was getting out of control before standing up to dry off. Fortunately, he wasn't alone after reaching the ground and sitting down to produce a fire with the wood that remained and ignite it with a breath of fire. He sat there in deep thought about what he would should he fail his genin and cursed himself. He was sulking, and it worried those watching him to the point of leaving the trees and approach him from behind.
Uncaring who it was yet sensing who they were, Sin continued to stare at the fire and reflect his person in the flames until two pairs of arms wrapped around him tightly, followed by another pair hugging his neck gently.
"Sensei." He recognized that gentle voice, that soft, loving voice of his hyuga genin. "We're sorry you went through so much."
Sin gasped.
An apology, a sincere apology from his student as she hugged him tighter and cooed to him that it was okay, that she understood it was alright to be in so much pain and that everyone needed to vent sometimes, just not by acting so harsh to anyone, not even towards Sasuke, even if he was in the wrong.
"Yeah, just because you did some good and bad things doesn't mean we hate you. You did those things because you felt it was right." Naruto reassured with his goofy smile as Kurenai added to the conversation.
"It only proves how strong you are as a person and how capable you are as their teacher." The genjutsu mistress whispered in his ear. "Your scars do not show ugliness, they show how much you've triumphed throughout your life, and that is an admirable quality."
"Yeah." Anko drawled sexily, rubbing his thigh tenderly. "Plus you going all drill sergeant on that brat shows that you're the right man. Tsume and I don't want a soft man in our live. We want a hardass that's gonna call people out on their bullshit, and the way you handled the uchiha brat proves you're perfect for the gakis. Not to mention it was really, really hot."
"Definitely alpha material for my clan." Tsume added, appearing in front of the man to lick his lips, which of course made him blush and forget about his inner turmoil. "I need someone who's gonna act like you did back there. Can't have a mate who acts softhearted to others when their lives get hard."
Silence ringing in the clearing, Sin was now sitting in astonishment of his genin and comrades. Instead of feeling what he presumed, here they were comforting him and reassuring him that they still cared for him, especially kurenai. He'd definitely thought he lost her on the first day of starting to date with her, but here she was, being an understanding teammate and caring girlfriend.
It was almost enough to make him cry after remembering how such care was hardly received in his life, so he did what he does best when given such affection.
He hugged them and laughed with them after seeing how silly it was for him to worry. He didn't need to act like this now, not when they're actually people. They're human and they were born with that sense of understanding, unlike his exes in the other world.
The laughter went on with conversing more about how Sasuke was handled and mortified until the fact of the civilian council finding out left everyone with a bitter taste on their tongues, not that it mattered anyway. Sin was quick to let them know the council didn't scare him and that he would put them in their place should they try to cross him.
"I've lived long enough to handle people like them."
"Well you're not going alone." Kurenai told him, holding his hand tightly. "We'll back you up should they try to accuse you of abusing your leadership and harming their precious uchiha."
"Can't make false accusations if there are witnesses of the situation." Anko added with a wink before kneeling to Sin's eye level. "Now there is going to be a cost to my witness of you putting that brat in his place."
Sin raised a brow at the smirking woman as she licked her lips.
"Oh, and what would that be?"
Sin shouldn't have asked her that, because everyone, including his genin, knew that behind the snake mistress' help there was always a catch that nobody could handle, and he basically set him up for it
Unable to react, Sin was shoved to the ground and slammed with the woman's lips against his as the others watched in shock of her bold action. Grape, succulent and warm, that was the taste on his lips while the barrier of his teeth was broken with the woman's tongue slipping in and rubbing against his own while Kurenai broke from her stupor and put her hands over the genin's eyes.
There was no escape after Anko grabbed his hands and guided them to her ass, forcing him to cup the plump and firm cheeks that no man ever touched without losing a limb. It was her desire however, she wanted this man to grope her and feel owned the same as she felt owning him. She wanted to be his and she would kill if it meant making it so.
And to her benefit, she found through his defeat by squeezing her ass that he was indeed an ass-man. Now she knew a weakness, and she planned to use it in every way possible: clothed or not.
Gasping for air, Anko broke the kiss with a lick of the saliva she earned from him and straddled his stunned form.
"I'd say sorry but I'm not." She commented while Kakashi came out of the fog, walking without crutches. "You're mine now just as much as to Kurenai, so you better treat us fairly, that includes Tsume when she has her turn."
"Which won't be long." The inuzuka added with kuromaru barking in agreement.
"Okay." Sin replied in a goofy tone, making everyone laugh as he stood up with Anko latched onto him and the copycat ninja watching with a nosebleed behind his mask.
"Anko sensei, that was wrong." Hinata said with a blush, making the woman laugh and wink at her.
"You'll understand when you're older."
"Anyway," Kakashi coughed, drawing everyone's attention. "Sin, I've ceased Sasuke's running."
"Why?" Sin asked calmly, presuming the reason Kakashi did such a thing.
Kakashi eye-smiled at the immortal. "I've fully recovered, so I think it's best that we proceed in escorting Tazuna to the bridge."
"I see."
With those words said, Sin decided at random thought that the next step in Naruto and Hinata's training was to arm them. Sure they were young and it was far too early to begin such training when he just started teaching them ninjutsu, but something in the back of his mind told him that they needed to be ready.
That they needed more than just his protection. Plus he felt that it was a good way to reward them for being such awesome students.
"Naruto, Hinata, come here."
Both genin rushed to their sensei as he made his bag appear with a snap of his finger, causing the copycat to gawk at his ability to make objects appear without a scroll or seal of some sorts.
With a small chant and a wave of his hand, Sin enchanted his bag to link with his genin in mind, body and spirit for what was going to come. He wanted to gift them with something he had never given before to any of students, because he felt it was necessary in adding to their arsenal and protection against a possibly dangerous ninja on the road ahead.
"Inside my bag are multiple weapons I've accumulated for a long time." He explained happily, smiling at his confused students. "These weapons are sentient and only choose worthy wielders, so I want you to be chosen. Once you do, you'll be bound to them forever and will be an extension to your person. Now reach inside.
Sin had high hopes for his students when they reached together into the bag that felt bottomless, but he what he didn't expect was for them to end their reach by pulling out the two weapons he kept in the bag for not just as a collection but to protect the world from their raw destructive power.
Naruto's hand came out first and within his grasp was a sword forged in dragon's fire and born with the power to manipulate the elements, and not just any sword, a katana similar to Sin's but etched in pure white with a hilt made of dragon scales and the blade encrusted with small gemstones of multiple colors.
"Kamori-Sara." Sin gasped, turning to see what Hinata grabbed.
Hinata was in awe as the weapon glowed brightly before toning down to reveal that she pulled out a Bo-Staff of pure obsidian with gemstones at each end and magical seals glowing all over.
Now Sin was curious just powerful they were going to become.
"Ranfaru-Gora."
"Awesome!" Naruto cheered, swinging the blade around after grabbing the sheath from the bag. "It feels as light as a feather."
"Sensei, it's beautiful." Hinata gasped, awing at the staff as it felt perfect and right to wield it. She took a few steps back and tried to use it but remembered that she was inexperienced, much like her boyfriend who almost sliced their teacher's hand.
Realization just struck her.
"Um. . . how do I carry this?"
Suddenly in her midst of trying to figure that out, the staff shrunk to dagger-size and she was able to place it in her pocket with her teacher smiling while Naruto's escaped his hand tied itself behind his back, freaking the out and making him scream that it's alive.
"It's sentient." Sin reminded after regaining his composure. "It lives at your will and will do as you command. Hence why they just manipulated themselves to fit you. Now treat them right and after we get from the mission, we'll double your training with jutsu and weapon's training."
"Thank you sensei!" His genin said with glee, fawning over their new weapons while Anko got in Sin's personal space.
"And what about us?" She growled playfully, making him sweat with realization that he should have done this in a more private area. Thankfully she was merciful after claiming him as her man and grabbed his ass teasingly. "I'm just messing with you. Weapons are not our thing anyway, but that doesn't mean we wouldn't accept such a gift and need training."
"Uh. . .okay." He responded nervously, getting a flick to his head.
"Just a hint as to what you could me on our first official date."
"Anko that's enough." Kurenai scolded lightly, getting raspberries from her friend. "Anyway, we have to prepare now and escort the client to the bridge."
"Agreed." Sin nodded, getting his more serious demeanor about him. "Naruto, Hinata, go get your things and be ready in ten minutes. We have mission to finish."
Both nodded before using their chakra to bolt past Kakashi at surprising speeds, leaving the man to wonder just what kind of training they've been enduring over the weeks.
"Now that you've recovered Kakashi, we'd all better get ready." Sin advised with his fellow jounin nodding in agreement, sending his bag away with another snap of his finger, but not without Kurenai giving him a hard stare.
"Sin, I understand giving them weapons to further their progress as ninja," Kurenai stated carefully, making him understand that she was aware. "But I saw your face after they took them, so what it is about those weapons that shocked you?"
Sin sighed in defeat and returned the same stare to his girlfriend with the others circling in to hear his explanation except for Kakashi, who seemed to disappear back into the fog.
"I stole those weapons a long time ago because of how powerful their were. They're power is destructive and so sentient that they only choose someone truly worthy. I can't even wield them because they feel that I'm unworthy." He explained, pointing back to the direction that his genin ran. "The fact that those two pulled them out and were chosen tells me they're destined to be their masters."
Anko crossed her arms in curiosity. "So what is it about them that got under your skin?"
Sin inhaled, processing that he no longer possessed the katana or staff. "You read my file, so you know that in the other world there are creatures there that probably don't exist here."
The three kunoichi nodded.
"Well, the katana and staff are infused with souls of the most dangerous monsters I ever had to face."
"Souls?" The three women asked, getting a nod from the man.
"Yeah, souls of two very powerful dragons."
He turned to see the direction of his genin's path while the ice queens gasped. "And now they're wielding them."
"Should we be worried?" Kurenai asked worriedly, thinking that her boyfriend just put two children in danger.
Sin shook his head. "Not for them, but for those who cross their paths in battle when they are trained. If they become trained as the dynamic duo they are, they'll be completely unstoppable."
With that said, the conversation ended with everyone left in silence and walking back to the shack to eat before leaving for the mission, wondering just how special Naruto and Hinata actually are.
Meanwhile in Naruto's Mindscape
Darkness, pure darkness inside the sewer-like prison as a monstrous figure watched Naruto's memories unfold, her tails gracefully flowing around her as she grinned with feral lust and desire after finally collecting enough information from her container's memories about the immortal.
"A worthy mate." She growled, shifting from her fox form to a woman with fox-like features, holding an orb that paused at Sin's face. "Oh I'm going to enjoy claiming you. But first I have to deal with those three weaklings lusting over you."
Snarling at the memory, she crushed it within her hand and laughed hysterically behind her bars before disappearing into the darkness.
"Soon, very soon."
