A collaboration of colors collided into the sky as the sun started to surge from the soil as it rose over the Enchanted Forest. The Snow Queen looked over Arendelle as it stayed still, the morning also beginning to shine over the beautiful, yet barren, streets. Elsa sighed before walking towards a small pond.
As if on command as she stepped toward the frosty body of water, a horse, encoated in frost and snowflakes, with a mane and tail of flowing snow whinnied and rose from the pond. It's icy glow in its eyes shone as the Nokk looked towards Elsa and whinnied.
"Hey there. Ready for a morning ride?" The Fifth Spirit asked the wintry horse. She got a whinny and happy grunt from the horse. She giggled as she climbed onto the back of the majestic beast.
But before she was able to let herself be free of any problems with her ride, a familiar whistle from the wind caught Elsa's attention.
"Hey there Gale. Anything new from Anna?" The Wind Spirit whistled back and brought a folded up paper that looked like a heart towards Elsa. The Snow Queen instinctively, yet carefully took the paper.
"Thank You." Elsa replied as she began to unfold the paper. Inside the paper was another paper, with charcoal black writing on it. Elsa pondered at this. Anna only wrote with dark blue ink, not this crayon-textured color. She then realized who it came from, and gasped lightly.
"Olaf…" She muttered out as she began to read the letter.
I am with you with this letter
I am with you with this song
I am with you when you laugh at something silly I did wrong
Who cares abouts our wheresabouts I'm here and you are there
But I'm with you and I care
I am with you as I write this and I'm thinking of you now
And you're with me though you're somewhere else and I can tell you how
Forget the notion that an ocean's keeping you from me
I am with you emotion'ly
I wish there was a looking glass that we could see each other through
Maybe one day they'll discover it and you'll see me and I'll see you
But till they do
I am with you with this music
I am with you with this rhyme
I am with you if you need me any moment any time
Just close your eyes and picture us what is it you see
I am with you and you're with me
A tear came towards Elsa's eye as she read the little snowman's letter.
"Thank you Olaf. I miss you too. So much." She sniffled a bit before looking up to Gale.
"Could you get me some paper, a feather, and an ink pad please?" The wind whistled as the leaves went out to find the objects Elsa needed. She dismounted from her snowbound mount and began to conjure up a small table and a chair for her as Gale went to look for the items.
About 5 minutes passed by before Gale returned with a navy blue and gold container of ink, a few pure white feathers, and some paper with the Arenedllian crest on top of the paper.
"Thank you, Gale." Elsa smiled as she looked down to the paper, before dipping the tip of the feather with the black ink.
Thank you for that symphony
Thank you for your light
Thank you for your energy
That always makes my night
You're little giggle and you're happy smile
Always there for the whole ride as i've been away for awhile
And eventually still, with our hope and will, you and I will make it through
Because if I know you, our little snowball of joy, you'll still be happy too
A looking glass is the same as a mirror
You can't look through without having to look back at yourself
Even with that loneliness surrounding both me and you
At least I know I have your back, even if it's just us two
Thank you for your memories
Thank you for your cheer
I hope i'll see you soon in near time
And I love you dear
A tear came to Elsa as she finished the letter and began to fold it into a crystal shape.
"Hey, Gale? Can you send this to Olaf please?" The wind whistled back in a reply and floated the crystal towards Arendelle castle.
"I'll see you soon, Olaf. I promise." Elsa said, putting a hand to her heart before turning towards Nokk, getting up from her ice desk and petting the wintry mane of the Nokk
"I believe I owe you a nice ride, huh?" She said as the Nokk whinnied in reply. Elsa chuckled as she mounted the snowy horse once again and galloped away towards the Northuldra campsite.
Author's Notes. And there you go! I watched this the other day and fell in love with it. But it kinda ended on a cliffhanger and I wanted to create a little 'What If' and see what would happen if Elsa were to respond to Olaf's letter. Hope you enjoyed and please review!
