Harold of Konoha

Chapter forty: War of crossing over (AKA No one ever told Harold that there was going to be a Massive Multiplayer Crossover)

Harold Fisher, the oldest active jonin in the village of Konohagakure (oldest active ninja overall), was enjoying a mug of morning coffee at an Akimichi clan-owned diner. Enjoying some morning coffee with the fisher patriarch were his friends Inoichi Yamanaka and Tsume Inuzuka, plus Tsume's ninkin, Kuromaru. The large ninkin was sitting on the floor next to where his owner sat at the table in the booth that was occupied by the three seniors.

"Hey, did you hear about that new country singer working under the label of Flame God Records over in Magnolia Town, Fiore?" (1) Inoichi asked as he talked to his friends, "That Alzack guy must have the vocal chords of a masculine angel. His singing…" Holding a hand over his heart, the Yamanaka patriarch said, "…His singing gets me here. Alzack is a true treasure in the world of country music stars."

Nodding in agreement with his closest friend, Harold said, "Oh, hells yeah, man. Sophia and I heard some of that Alzack guy's songs yesterday, and we both admitted that it was some of the finest music we've ever heard."

"I heard an Alzack song yesterday when I joined my son's family for dinner at that one steakhouse located in downtown Konoha," Tsume remarked.

"I was just there for the steak," Kuromaru said. (2)

Harold picked up his mug of coffee and took another sip from it. Right as Harold was sipping his coffee, he and his friends all heard the door leading into the diner open. Looking over, the three seniors and one large ninkin saw a group of four mid-twenties Konoha shinobi walk into the diner and right over to them. "We are looking for Lord Naruto's adoptive father," said the first shinobi in as business-like of a tone as he could manage.

Holding up his right hand in a gesture of greeting, Inoichi replied, "Yo."

To Inoichi, the first shinobi said, "We need you and your party to come with us. A matter of urgency has just cropped up, and Lord Naruto wishes to speak with you."

Draining the last of the coffee in his mug, Inoichi sat the mug down as he and the others all fished out some money to pay for their coffee. "Well lads, it looks like we've got to go see mah boi for some business," the Yamanaka patriarch remarked as he and the others all got up to go with the four Konoha shinobi that were obviously thrown together to track them down and bring them to the Hokage office building.

A short while later, Harold and company all stood in front of Naruto's desk in his office at the Hokage office building. Seated at the desk was…Shikamaru, actually, with Shino standing off to the side on Shikamaru's right. "Yeah, Naruto and Sasuke had to rush out to go meet with the teams of Konoha shinobi that have been thrown together for the mission that they are all about to go on," Shikamaru explained, "Shino and I are being left here to man the fort while Naruto leads a team composed of himself, Sasuke, Neji and Rock Lee."

Gesturing to his son-in-law, Inoichi asked, "What sort of mission, might I ask?"

"Konoha had received a distress call from the monster world government," Shino explained in Shikamaru's place, "The warmonger hordes of the monster warlord Hirajo have attacked the city that the business known as Shirayuki Offices is located in."

"As of right now, the only known forces that are available to confront the hordes of Hirajo are some monster students from Yokai Academy that had to transfer to Azu-Daioh High when they had to evacuate from Yokai Academy," Shikamaru began, "And hero course students from some of the various hero high schools in Japan. A few adult pro heroes are also taking part from what I've heard, but the Hero Public Safety Commission has yet to organize a large force of pros due to their believe that, since this attack does not involve criminals or quirked villains, it's not the problem of the hero community."

Kuromaru, with a mildly annoyed look on his face, remarked, "So…the forces that are currently engaged in battle with the hordes is composed of mostly teenagers."

Nodding twice in grim confirmation, Shikamaru said, "Indeed. An estimated ninty-one point six percent (3) of the people fighting the hordes of Hirajo are under the age of eighteen."

Turning to fully face Harold and the rest of his group, Shino said, "We're sending out as many teams from Konoha as we can spare to go over to the fighting to help defeat the warmonger hordes of Hirajo. The monster world government will pay Konoha a very substantial fee based on how many teams we send out, assuming that the hordes are successfully defeated."

Gesturing to Harold's group, Shikamaru said, "Look, you guys. I know you all just got back from your trip to the town where Mr. Fisher's music student lives, but we could use any and all willing hands to go out to the grounds where Konoha shinobi are loading up into some of the village's flying ships to head out to the city where the hordes of Hirajo are attacking."

"Shikamaru, mah boi, you ought to know me and the lads better than that," Inoichi remarked, "There's no way we'd turn down some action. Just tell us where to skedaddle off to so we can meet up with Naruto and get further instructions." Harold and Tsume both nodded in agreement with the Yamanaka patriarch, and Kuromaru simply sighed in a knowing manner, knowing full well that he was going along as well.

"Go to the open field in the grounds of the flying ship factory," (4) Shikamaru instructed, "Everyone that's shipping out to go participate in the fighting will be there. You have about an hour to get there before the flying ships take off."

Giving Shikamaru a thumbs-up, Harold said, "You can count on us, chief! Come on, lads, Vámonos!" Leading the way, Harold led his party out of Naruto's office and out of the office building as a whole before they all headed on over to meet up with the other teams shipping out to go confront the hordes of Hirajo.

Later, Harold and company were sitting inside of one of Konoha's flying ships as the fleet of Konoha flying ships that it was a part of was making its way to the city being attacked by the hordes of Hirajo. The older shinobi and the talking ninkin were one of many teams sitting in that flying ship as they waited for the city to get close enough; the teams would be air dropped into the city to save time in getting the shinobi of Konoha to the fighting.

"Okay, teams!" Naruto said to all of the shinobi in the flying ship; it just so happened that Harold's team was in the same flying ship as the team Naruto was leading. As such, Sasuke, Neji and Rock Lee all stood with the jinchuriki Hokage. Pounding a fist into his hand, Naruto went on, "This battle may not have anything to do with the efforts of Konoha and our allies against Kumo in the ongoing ninja war, but there's still a hell of a lot of good that we can gain by giving aid to the monster world government today."

Holding up a hand, Tsume asked, "You think we can get some kickass monster allies like some vampires or some s*** like that to help Konoha kill some Kumo bastards?"

Pointing to the older Inuzuka woman in a commending manner, Naruto replied, "That's the gist of the idea, yes." Gesturing to the gathered shinobi in the flying ship with him, Naruto continued, "We may also get some assistance from the HPSC in the form of pro heroes fighting on the front lines alongside shinobi from Konoha and Suna, assuming of course that the commission pulls its head out of its ass and realizes that there's threats beyond just criminals and quirked villains." (5)

"Hey, Lord Naruto!" a pilot called back from the cockpit, "We're getting within range of the city! Now would be a good time for everyone to air drop in!"

"Got it!" Naruto called back. Turning to face the wall alongside the right of the doorway he was standing in, Naruto pushed a red button that made two large sections of floor in the room everyone was seated in open outwards, showing that the flying ship was currently over the city that was being attacked by warmonger monsters. Some of the Konoha shinobi could see some smoke rising up from some of the buildings, and Tsume swore she could have seen a giant lady with large purple horns and long pale blonde hair run towards something with a dragon flying by her side. (6)

Pointing towards the large open space in the floor that led to the earth below, Naruto said, "Alright everyone! Time to air drop in and fight some monsters!" The Hokage would have been the first to jump, but he was beaten to the punch by Harold, Inoichi, Tsume and Kuromaru, the last of those four only jumping with the other three because Tsume was going. Shrugging in an indifferent manner, Naruto said, "At least they got the spirit."

Naruto as well as his team was the next group to air drop from the flying ship, followed by a few more teams of Konoha shinobi. Before long, all of the shinobi in that flying ship, as well as all of the shinobi in all of the flying ships, had air dropped into the city that was besieged by the hordes of Hirajo. It was Harold and his team, as they were the first to air drop into the city, that were the first Konoha shinobi to kill some of the warmonger monsters, with Harold and Inoichi tag-teaming one while Tsume and Kuromaru tag-teamed another with Fang Over Fang.

Soon more of the Konoha shinobi dropped into the city, and the warmongers were surprised not only by the appearance of humans fighting them, but that the humans were having so easy a time fighting them off, despite the warmongers not only being monsters, but also having a numbers advantage. It was doing a good job to an extent at throwing the warmongers off their game; that can be said for sure.

After Harold killed his third warmonger with a kunai attack to the monster's throat, he spotted an abandoned limousine sitting next to a mailbox. Since they weren't immediately threatened by any of the monsters, Harold and his team went over to the limousine. It was Kuromaru who first spotted the small little cloth flag on the antenna of the limousine. "…Hey, that's the symbol of the Yaoyorozu Conglomerate," Kuromaru remarked, "This limousine must belong to the family of Ryoga Yaoyorozu."

Shrugging indifferently, Tsume walked around to the driver's side door, opened it, climbed inside and in a few seconds got the limousine up and running. "They left the keys in here!" the Inuzuka matriarch called out, "And I was going to hotwire it!" Sighing in a resigned tone, Kuromaru went with Harold and Inoichi as they all climbed into the limousine that Tsume was stealing, before they all drove off to look for more of the monsters to fight and kill.

Harold and company eventually made their way to the local high school in the city, Azu-Daioh High. Parking the limousine outside of the school grounds, Tsume locked it up and pocketed the keys before she and the boys rushed in onto the school grounds, rushing by the four teen boys and all of the monsters that they were fighting unnoticed. Although they would have loved to have taken part in fighting the warmongers in the front area of Azu-Daioh High grounds, Harold and company had a feeling that there were monsters inside of the school putting the innocent civilians inside in grave danger.

Rushing into the school building, Harold and company soon came across a group of warmongers and immediately proceeded to attack them. With their skills and many years of experience as shinobi, Harold, Inoichi, Tsume and Kuromaru soon gave all of the warmongers a very sound thrashing. At one point, Tsume and Kuromaru struck one in the stomach with Fang Over Fang and hit him so hard that they sent him flying back, crashing through some doors at one end of a hallway that were closed. Not wanting to let up, Harold and the others proceeded to chase a few of the remaining monsters through the doors.

"Hot damn!" Harold exclaimed as he slashed the throat of a warmonger with a kunai knife, "Wait until we tell our respective grandkids back in Konoha about how we fought against actual straight-up literal monsters in an attack on a civilian city! They will be so impressed with us!"

"Focus on fighting the monsters, Harold!" Kuromaru scolded, "We can't afford to dilly-dally around here, especially since Konoha had to spare some reserves to help with repelling the monster attack here! There's only so much Konoha presence here since we and our allies are still involved in the fifth great ninja war!"

While Harold and company fought those warmongers, Inoichi at one point looked over and saw a group of six teens; one was a pink-skinned girl with pink fluffy hair and little yellow horns, one was a fair-skinned and notably slim looking girl with long black hair in a ponytail and that girl was being carried bridal-style by a boy with fair skin and black hair that shot upwards while held up by a white and blue headband, one was a boy with spiky brown hair, fair skin and oval eyes with large pupils, one was a boy with fairly long silvery gray hair, and the last one was a boy with straight black hair and his elbows look like the rolls from tape dispensers. (7)

"…Hey, you kids look like you're from one of the hero high schools that the bros and I were briefed about before multiple teams from Konoha were deployed to this area to assist with stopping the monster attack," Inoichi said when he looked over and spotted the six teens, "You kids are all okay, aren't you?"

Gesturing to the slim girl with the ponytail, the pink girl said, "Our classmate here overused her quirk and now she's really low on lipids or whatever the f*** she calls them. We need to get her to someplace where she can get a lot of something to eat and replenish herself. We were on our way to the cafeteria when you and your pals over there came in fighting those monster."

Inoichi nodded in understanding before he turned to face where Harold, Tsume and Kuromaru were still fighting some of the monsters. "Oi, Harold, Tsume, Kuromaru! I'm going to escort these teens to the cafeteria so their friend can get a bite to eat!" Inoichi said.

Shooting his closest friend a thumbs-up, Harold said, "Go for it, Inoichi! The lads and I here can hold down the fort until you get back!" Inoichi nodded in response as he had the group teens that he spotted turn around and run in the direction of Azu-Daioh High's cafeteria, running with them to keep an eye on them and make sure that they stay safe.

"Rasengan!" Naruto exclaimed as he shoved his signature jitsu into the gut of one of the warmongers, sending the monster flying backwards until he crashed into the side of a brick building, being knocked out cold. Turning around, the jinchuriki Hokage saw a group of the warmongers rushing right towards Sasuke. The Uchiha man saw them coming, and he did not look concerned in the least.

Sasuke, with both of his eyes active as Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, raised his left hand up so that his palm was aimed at the oncoming rush of warmongers. Suddenly, Sasuke's left eye Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan changed significantly, turning mostly a purplish color with black circles that formed a rippling pattern. There were also some tomoe on some of the circles, similar to Sasuke's Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. (8)

"Bansho Ten'in," Sasuke said simply, his tone cool, indifferent and uncaring as he emitted a powerful force that slammed into all of the monsters that were trying to rushing him, with 'trying to' being a very key part of the phrasing here.

After all of those warmongers were thrown to the side and were scrambling to recover, Sasuke wasted no time in unleashing a series of Fireballs right at them, striking them one by one and eventually going on to engulf the lot of them in a brilliant scarlet inferno. By the time all of those warmongers had been vanquished by Sasuke, the Uchiha man turned around to see that his fellow shinobi from Konoha were just about finished in cleaning up the mess in that area of the city, and by 'mess' I mean the warmonger monsters.

Brushing some hair from his face, Sasuke said, "These guys have no real skill at all. They rely on their sheer numbers, sheer size compared to those they lay siege to, and their superior strength when compared to normal humans." (9)

"So they're just a bunch of oversized cannon fodder hoping to win a war of attrition," Neji called out over from where he used his clan's techniques damage the heart of one of the warmongers to the point that it resulted in the warmonger collapsing into death. After that monster fell over and die, the Hyuga man turned around and said to the others, "Depending on how many enemies that there are in the horde, we may actually win this battle at the current rate we're going at. These guys, for all of their physical strength, aren't much of a threat to shinobi of our skill."

"Then let's hope that we burn through the remaining monsters in this area faster than their reinforcements can come in!" Rock Lee said as he noticed a warmonger try to rush him from behind. Rock Lee leapt up and did a Konoha Hurricane kick, striking the warmonger that tried to sneak up on him in the side of his neck and hitting the monster with such force that he broke the monsters neck, killing him right there and then.

After the taijitsu master landed from his jumping kick, he and the other Konoha shinobi in that area of the city continued to fight against the hordes of Hirajo. Sure, with all of the skill and power that Naruto, Sasuke, Neji and Rock Lee had, they were having absolutely no trouble at all in fighting the warmongers. Even so, if the hordes of Hirajo truly were as unlimited as they seemed, then even shinobi the likes of Naruto and his team will eventually be overtaken due to sheer exhaustion.

…But said exhaustion was still a very much far way off.

Back over at Azu-Daioh High, Inoichi was sitting with the six students from one of the hero high schools that he escorted over to the cafeteria of Azu-Daioh High. That area of the school was, to the surprise of Inoichi and the hero teens, surprisingly devoid of conflict, allowing the seven of them a degree of safety and peace. Inoichi stood by and watched as Mina, Yaoyorozu, Sero, Tetsutetsu, Yosetsu and Kosei (the Yamanaka patriarch got all of their names) rested a bit to catch their breath; Yaoyorozu, the rather skinny girl with the big black ponytail, was even in the middle of stuffing herself with food from the cafeteria. (10)

"It still beats me that a bunch of minors were gathered to fight of the hordes of monsters that are attacking this city," Inoichi remarked as he, Mina and Yosetsu watched Yaoyorozu scarf down a personal-sized pizza while Sero, Kosei and Tetsutetsu acted as look out. Shrugging, Inoichi added, "But then again, my friends and I come from Konohagakure, and the average age of our ninja academy graduates is twelve."

Turning to look at the Yamanaka patriarch, Yosetsu said, "That's one of the elemental nations."

Nodding in confirmation, Inoichi said, "You got that right, young man. Me, my friends, and a bunch of other shinobi teams from Konoha are here to help with fighting the monsters that are attacking the city for some odd reason."

Taking a break from her emergency feasting, Yaoyorozu looked over to Inoichi and said, "I believe I heard something about how the monster hordes want to wipe out the family of some man by the name of Hatsuharu Shirayuki."

Gesturing to Yaoyorozu, Inoichi said, "You just relax and finish eating, young lady, because hot damn do you look like you need a sandwich." Crossing his arms over his chest, Inoichi gently shook his head and said, "Don't look like that and visit the Akimichi clan, because they will not let you leave until they've fed you. A lot." (11)

"Yeah, this is one of the worst looks that Momo's ever gotten due to overuse of her quirk," Mina remarked as she held her right hand to her forehead, "She'll recover soon enough once she's had plenty to eat." Turning to look at Inoichi, Mina said, "So, Mr.…Yamanaka, was it?" After Inoichi nodded to show that Mina got his name right, the pink-skinned girl asked, "Anyway, you said that you and your friends back there are ninja, right?"

"Indeed we are, Mina," Inoichi replied, "My main man with the pink hair is Harold, the cool girl is Tsume, and Kuromaru is Tsume's talking dog that has an eyepatch and is missing an ear."

Sero, from where he stood as he was on lookout, turned his head to regard Inoichi before he said, "Yeah, I was going to ask how in the blazes did your friend get a talking dog."

"Uhh, Sero," Yosetsu remarked somewhat dryly, "Our school's principal is literally an animal that became humanoid thanks to a quirk. Said principal can also talk like a humans and is bar none the most intelligent person that we know of." Shooting Sero a dry, wry look, Yosetsu asked, "Are we really in any position to question a talking dog that only has talking like a human going for him?" (12)

Later, after Inoichi had gotten all of the teens to safety (mostly because Yaoyorozu still needed to recover), he met back up with Harold, Tsume and Kuromaru. Shooting his friends a thumbs up, the Yamanaka patriarch said, "The kids have recovered enough and are now safe. So anyway, what did I miss?"

"We're about to leave school grounds since there's a lower concentration of monsters here," Tsume explained as she and the rest of the group ran through the school to exit and return to the limousine that Tsume had stolen, "We're going to drive around for more pockets of monsters so that we can help the good guys fight said monsters." Harold and company eventually reached the front of the school, and located the limo that Tsume had taken.

They all climbed in and, with Tsume at the wheel, they took off into the city. Along the way, the party saw a couple of warmonger monsters in the road, so Tsume took them all out via ramming them with the limousine that she was driving. Tsume called her use of this method a quote unquote 'technique', and she had even come up with a name for it; Tsume ended up naming it 'Vehicular Manslaughter Style: Konoha Drift'. (13)

As Tsume drove on after killing her seventh warmonger monster with her 'technique', she saw a tow truck that had a ramp that the car drove up on and rested there. The ramp was out, touching the ground and going up at an angle. Looking ahead of the tow truck, Tsume spotted a few of the warmongers trying to attack slash chase after some innocent civilians. "…Ima gonna shoot the moon on this one, boys," Tsume said, "So hold on to your sphincters."

Kuromaru, with his eyes going wide as he saw what Tsume had seen and knew what she was going to do, said, "Tsume, that is extremely danger-" The talking Ninkin was cut off when the Inuzuka matriarch drove over to the ramp of the tow truck then drove up onto the ramp with such force and speed that the limo flew off at the end of the ramp closest to the tow truck's cab, going so fast and hard that the limo drove off into the air.

"YEEEEEHAAAWWWW!" Tsume cheered as the limo flew through the air and over some of the warmongers. The limo ended up landing on the head of one of the warmonger monsters, crushing the head and killing that monster. Another warmonger had his right shoulder crushed by the falling limo, making him drop the innocent human civilian that he was holding and trying to squeeze the life out of, but very clearly failing to do so.

The human civilian was dropped and proceeded to scramble to his feet before running away from all of the fighting. The limo ended up landing on its tires on the ground, allowing Harold and his party to all get out of the limo safely. The sudden appearance of the limo, which was now very much wrecked, threw off the warmongers, giving Harold and company the time that they needed to kill off most of the remaining monsters.

By the time Harold and his party had killed a combined six warmongers, the last warmonger in that area was killed by a pro hero; this one was a tall and well-built man with reddish hair. He was also covered in flames over various parts of his body, including a beard of flames. "You lot look like shinobi from one of the elemental nations, if those headbands are any indication," the fiery pro hero said to Harold and company. Arching a wry eyebrow, the fiery pro hero remarked in a wry tone, "Interesting use of that limo, by the way."

"Oh yeah, we of Konoha like to do things our own way," Tsume remarked in something of a bragging tone.

Turning to look up at his owner, Kuromaru said, "You, Harold and Inoichi are the only ones in Konoha who act in such a manner, Tsume. You don't see our Hokage stealing anything along the lines of a limousine, do you?" (14)

"Regardless, you have my thanks for providing assistance," the fiery pro hero said, "Anyway, I am known as Endeavor." Gesturing to the pro heroes behind him, Endeavor said, "The fellow behind me with the large wings is Hawks, and the fellow in the wooden mask is Kamui Woods."

Looking over at the wrecked limousine, Kamui Woods spotted the little flag on the antenna and said after looking at it, "…Hey wait, that looks like the family crest of the Yaoyorozu family."

Shrugging indifferently, Tsume remarked, "So I stole some rich guy's limo and used it to kill some of the monsters attacking the city. I'm pretty sure that if he's rich enough to afford a limo, he's also rich enough to pay to have it repaired if need be."

Gesturing to the pro heroes, Inoichi said, "Yeah, we of Konoha care more about getting the job done than we do any potential persons we could piss off in the process."

Crossing his arms over his chest, Endeavor let out a laugh before saying, "That's a good attitude to have, considering what we have to do here!"

"What say us ninja help you pro heroes finish up with wiping out the monsters in this area?" Harold half asked half offered, something to which the pro heroes immediately agreed to, with Endeavor being particularly interested in working alongside shinobi from one of the elemental nations so as to learn more about how they fight.

Sometime by late afternoon, word got passed around that the fighting was ended, with all warmongers either killed or captured and turned over to monster world government for arrest and transport to monster world prison. Representatives from the monster world's government had discussions with Naruto to determine how much to pay Konohagakure for the help they sent to deal with the hordes of Hirajo, based on the number of shinobi teams that were sent. (15)

The Konoha shinobi all got back onto the flying ships and made their way back to their village. Upon their arrival, the Konoha shinobi were all greeted by their various loved one; one particular scene had Harold and Inoichi respectively hugged by their respective wives while Tsume and Kuromaru stood by and watched, with an amused smirk on Tsume's face. "The monsters have all been defeated, Sophia," Harold remarked, "The lads and I, along with all the rest of the Konoha forces that took part in defeating the monster attack, are all heroes."

"I'm just glad that you're home safe, dear," Sophia said as she rested her head against her husband's chest, her arms still wrapped around his waist. The Fisher patriarch, with a gentle expression on his face, merely smiled sympathetically as he gently patted his beloved wife of many years on her back. Likewise, Inoichi and Michelle were doing the same thing as Harold and Sophia.

Holding up her right hand, Tsume called out to the couples that were being lovey-dovey, "Alright, everyone. The lads and I just got back from fighting a war against monsters, and I don't know about any of you, but I could sure go for nocking back a mug of the good stuff."

"Well it has been a while since I was able to enjoy a lovely drink with Inoichi," Michelle remarked, "I don't suppose it would be too much of a bother if I came along, would it?"

"Yes, Michelle's got the right idea," Sophia said, "In fact, I was wondering if it would be okay if I could come along as well."

Both Harold and Inoichi were right on board with bringing their respective wives along, and Tsume, with an amused smirk on her face with an expression that made it clear she knew she would not be able to say otherwise, decided to let the respective wives of her friends tag along to the bar. Besides, Tsume always sort of wondered what it would be like if she got mugs of Pape Konoha's Brand Lager to Sophia and Michelle. (16)

END, CHAPTER FORTY

Author's notes:

1. See 'Fairy Tail: Post Game' chapter 7 for more details on this.

2. Well he's a dog, so you've got to figure.

3. Also the odds that Spock calculated Khan is liable to kill him and the rest of the group sent to capture him on the Klingon home world.

4. The same place in chapter ten of this story where Naruto christened The Hanamaru.

5. Like warmonger monsters, rouge shinobi, dark mages, the KND, Crow Hogan…the list just goes on and on.

6. The pro heroes Mt. Lady and Ryukyu respectively.

7. Their names in the order in which they are listed; Mina Ashido, Momo Yaoyorozu, Yosetsu Awase (who is carrying Momo), Kosei Tsuburaba, Tetsutetsu, and Hanta Sero.

8. Yes, Sasuke has the Rinnegan in this story's setting, similar to how he does in canon. However, Sasuke gets his Rinnegan here in a manner different than how he does in the series proper (don't ask how).

9. It goes without saying that the human characters from Konoha are far from 'normal', since they can, among other things, blow up mountains, summon unearthly demons, and copy themselves two-hundred times over.

10. She overused her quirk, thus she has to eat a lot to replenish her lipids or whatever the f*** she calls them.

11. You look skinny, girl. How many pizzas do you need? Two? Three? Don't be shy. We get you four.

12. He's got a point.

13. Just as effective at killing monsters as it is at killing humans.

14. …Naruto did steal that one scroll in the very beginning, but it should be noted that he was tricked into stealing it by a total turd-nozzle.

15. The monster world government then had to determine how much they had to pay all of the Fairy Tail mages that took part in the fighting as well due to accepting all of the quest requests that were sent to the mage's guild. But that's another story for another time.

16. Heh, that'll be fun.

This is a bit of a turning point in not just 'Harold Fisher: Legend of Konoha', but in a number of my other stories as well. From this point moving forward, things will be gearing up to prepare a number of peoples for a major conflict that will hit multiple locations, requiring the locals in said locations to organize a force and fight back. With one of those locations being Konoha, you can bet that having a lot of shinobi helping to fight off the enemies to come will be a boon to the efforts of the defending peoples. Anyway, this was the fortieth chapter of my first ever story that I got up on this site; it's my longest-running story yet, and I don't see it stopping anytime soon. Who knows for how much longer the adventures of Harold and his friends will continue?
