Grell slumped down the wall of her room infuriated at herself. Her date with Eric Slingby was meant to be a fleeting moment, not an entire night spent in the back of a Camaro.
She grunted pulling the pins out of her hair. Disgust filled her torso thinking to herself. Why did she allow herself to sleep with two men in the span of a couple of days.
"Are you in Grell?" called her sister from behind her door. "I want to make sure everything's alright."
She paused for a movement before unlocking the door for her.
Angelina came in with a mug of tea already mixed with sugar and cream. "Eric told me a little about your evening so, I figured out the rest."
The shame was written all over her face. She held onto the mug tightly looking away from her sister. Tears beginning to form in her eyes.
"Hey now... No need for any of that. You had sex, so what? I love sex. It's good for you. Have you been using protection?"
"Angelina!"
"I'm asking as a medical student and as your sister. I want to know some dickhead didn't give you anything. Have you been tested?"
Grell covered her face in embarrassment more than shame. She began to cry leaning on her.
Angelina rubbed her back trying to sooth her worries." What did I say about crying? I know you're scared and that's okay. We'll get you tested and started on some damn birth control."
"Do you think I'm a slut?"
"Now, where did that come from?"
Grell cleaned her face with her wrists looking up at her. "I've been having sex and I'm not slowing down...even worse, it's not with the same person every time!"
"Stop that, right now. Who cares who you sleep with? Aren't you happy? Do you think you should should stick to one person if you're not in a relationship?"
"Well... I thought-"
Angelina raised her hand covering her sister's mouth. "Don't listen to a damn thing about having to be a 'good girl'. You can sleep with as many people as you like as long as you're not a cheater."
Grell nodded slowly with the hand being removed from her face. "I just wanted to be better than mother was."
The older sister sighed hugging her tightly. "We're both always above her. She's a cheater and a liar. People like her deserve a disease that can't be cured that slowly kills them."
"Stop that." Grell replied with a small sniffled giggle.
"What? It also should never be allowed to be passed onto good people. It'll be like cancer but, with better benefits."
Grell rolled her eyes hugging her tightly. "Thank you. That made me feel a bit better."
"Good. Now, clean up that face of yours so we can have some tea and biscuits. We can try to get the mood up."
"This late at night?"
"Oh please, like I haven't caught you sneaking to the kitchen in the middle of the night for something to snack on."
"I suppose so."
The two sister made there way down to the kitchen in their sleep clothes having their kettle on as they got their snacks together. Angelina poured them each a mug sitting right across from her.
"It's just like when we were children."
Grell laughed taking a bite of her almond biscuit. "Only, we had to be quiet to not wake up Daddy."
Her sister sipped her drink nodding. "Remember that time, when you let a raccoon in the house because you thought it was a cat?"
"I didn't have glasses then! Besides, I was six. You can't blame a blind child for stupid factors."
"Whatever. You're just just upset it happened to you."
Grell rolled her eyes looking at her sister. "Wow. Really cool Angelina."
She laughed taking a huge bite of her biscuit. "I was hoping we could have kept it. We could've trained it to attack those boys who picked on you."
"Maybe..."
She sighed dunking her biscuit into her tea. "I'm being funny, Grell. Learn to loosen up."
She laughed shaking her head. "Maybe another time. I'm just really tired."
"After what Eric said, I believe it."
Grell started getting up collecting her things. Angelina raised her hands grabbing onto her. "Kidding! Nothing but porkies!"
"I have reason to doubt that."
"Listen to me." Angelina said holding her hand. "You don't need to feel guilt or any shame. I love you. You need to realise that as long as you're not with anyone, you can do whatever you want."
"Thank you. I guess I'll finish this and go to bed. I'm feeling extra exhausted."
"Fine. But first, we need to talk about my love life. I have to tell you about this delicious man man I met the other day."
Sebastian was beyond furious. How dare some Scottish drunk take advantage of his beloved? How dare he think himself some man to fornicate with his future bride?
He had been stalking him for a couple of days now. Watching him go from work, to the pub, and then to his flat. Some times in his routine, he'd pick up some other drunks and take them home.
He was horrified to see the man had no care for his personal care. The idea that a man like that would dare to touch his darling redhead made his stomach turn.
Eric had just arrived to his job. The motor mechanic job he worked at was already busy with a line of cars leaking out of the garage. He grinned beginning to work on the next one on the list.
He took the ticket looking at the information. He went out into the lobby looking around for the owner. "Michaelis?"
Sebastian got out of the seat looking absolutely troubled. "That would be me. I seemed have inherited this piece of work."
They walked side by side out to view the damage. They stopped at a 1947 convertible.
"Sir...that's the car?"
Sebastian nodded crossing his arms. "It was inheritance. I'm sure you're capable hands can restore it to its former glory. The price doesn't matter to me. I tend to use it to the fullest."
Eric was drooling over it. The job would be time consuming but, the result were going to be like nothing he'd ever have to care for.
Sebastian turned to him still looking so annoyed. "I was hoping to get it restored. I want to sell at full value once I'm done with it."
Eric looked at him almost pleading to hold off on the idea. "It's gonna take some time to get that way. Like, more than a few months."
"That's perfectly fine. Just, make sure to keep me up to date in anything and everything."
Eric nodded still having his gaze fixated on the broken vehicle. "Absolutely. I'm gonna make sure that I got cha number on record."
Sebastian waited studying the building and all of his exits. He mentally marked them keeping his main focus on the Scottish man. His eyes wondering for any signs of cameras.
Eric came back with a clipboard full of different forms for the job. "Alright, Mr. Michaelis. I just need ya to signs these off. It'll help us make sure you understand we might not be able to restore everything in house."
Sebastian hardly even read the disclosures signing away. "I know that much, good sir. I was just hoping to have it ready by next year is all."
The dirty blond man laughed looking up at him. "It won't take more than a year, I promise you that. This one is my assignment. I'll be working on it until it's done."
Sebastian smiled looking at him. "That's what I like to hear. I need this as soon as you can."
"Why is that? If, you don't mind my askin'?"
Sebastian smiled with a genuine happiness. "I plan on getting married. I want the love of my life to have her beautiful hair tossing in the wind as we drive to Paris."
Eric grinned looking at the car. "You really seemed to have picked a beauty." He looked over his sheet to make sure he would do his best.
"Thank you. You don't know what this lovely lady means to me. I want to take her away from here. She really needs a break from her family and friends. It'll be just the two of us eloping in France."
Eric laughed holding the clipboard to his side. "I can imagine. So, I'll be calling you some time soon with updates."
Sebastian shook his hand giving a toothy grin. "Soon can't fast enough."
